Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

================================================

User ImageThe gods trembled
The demons flocked

It had been a little under one hour since Hibiki had asked, or rather ordered one of the nearby Shinigami to go and tell 5th Division Captain Lee that he was in dire need of his audience. Since then his two captives have been fairly silent, making no attempt at escape or communication to the others to ask for assistance. Hibiki was thankful for this, but feared that it might not be the case in other areas, during an invasion he always imagined it to be noisy and chaotic, this time it was eerily quiet, like a storm was brewing.

Suddenly, his train of through was interrupted when he spotted a crowd of Shinigami running away from something inside the 5th Division’s area. He didn’t hear any kind of explosion, so he wondered what happened to make them panic in such a way. As the crowd passed by him, Hibiki extended his arm and grabbed a nearby office by his sleeve, or rather her sleeve ”Kyaa!” the officer exclaimed in surprise at Hibiki’s sudden gesture. It didn’t matter to him who he asked, but he would’ve rather preferred a male shinigami, or at the very least one that didn’t scream out in such an embarrassing manner ”Oi, calm down will you?” Hibiki spoke ”What happened? What are you running from?” the girl was panicky, that was much certain, and her face was flushed and pale like it had seen a ghost ”Oi!” Hibiki finally yelled, in an attempt to get some answers from her, this was not the time to be hysteric. Finally she answered ”It… it disappeared.” she muttered ”One of the buildings, it just disappeared.” her answer shocked Hibiki at first, the buildings in Seiretei were at least four stories tall and were made of solid concrete. The creatures couldn’t have possibly destroyed one without making some noise.

Hibiki was a good distance away from the aforementioned building, and he had no idea what had truly transpired. Letting go of the girl, Hibiki was about to issue a Tenteikura message when suddenly a group of the creatures emerged from the corner of one of the buildings, there were about five to six of them, and Hibiki knew it would take more than a simply single-digit Bakudo to bind them in place before they exploded. The officer had already run away from the area, which was fortunate as Hibiki had no idea just how powerful the creature’s explosions were. Keeping his zanpakuto sealed, Hibiki readied himself before a handful of explosions across Seiretei caught his attention. It was as if several of the creatures detonated in unison, whatever the reason was, the outcome couldn’t have been good. Turning around, Hibiki was met by the sudden assault of eight creatures ”What?!” Hibiki was caught off-guard and the Captain was forced to use a Shunpo to evacuate the area immediately.

It would seem that the creatures were capable of freeing themselves from their bindings after some time. If that was the case, it would make things much more difficult for them to handle. Noticing that the creatures still hadn’t given up on their mad assault, Hibiki shunpo’d away, chanting some incantations while the group charged at him. Once that was done, he quickly executed a shunpo directly in front of them ”Bakudo #30: Shitotsu Sansen.” quickly etching a triangle in mid-air, Hibiki fired the Bakudo spell, pinning all of them to a nearby wall. But the Captain wasn’t done yet, stretching out his hand, Hibiki materialized and grasp a single rod of energy in his hand ”Bakudo #62: Hyapporankan!” he then hurled it towards them, multiplying itself in mid-flight into a hundred poles that impaled the creatures further into the wall.

Dusting himself off, Hibiki was confident that the two Bakudo spells would be enough to hold them for at least three hours or so. The creatures possessed regenerative powers well beyond that of any arrancar, and from he had heard they could explode themselves and multiply, seemingly at will. If that were true then the possibility of there being well over a hundred all across Seiretei was a disquieting thought. If he couldn’t handle eight of them, the Captain shuddered to think what would happen if they were a hundred.

As the Avant-gardes began to break free of their bindings and accumulate, a sizeable number of them gathered between the 12th and 4th Division. They began to pulsate with energy, further degrading the flow of space and time around them, much to the confusion and horror of the nearby shinigami. Suddenly, the silhouette of a child began to surface from the distortions in space. The figure slowly began to solidify, though at the same time in flickered in and out of existence almost in sync with a heartbeat, until the image of a boy appeared for a brief moment, before the Avant-garde exploded without warning, throwing back a handful of the shinigami that were too close to them. The explosion caused a peak in the distortion of time and space, allowing the form to manifest itself in Soul Society as the creatures slowly began to duplicate themselves, and then attacking the shinigami afterwards.

Amidst the chaos, the boy simply stretched his arms out, yawning as he did so as if he had just awoken from a nap. He was dressed in a long sleeved shirt, three sizes too big for him with some gold trimming in the center. The rest of his attire consisted of a pair of similarly colored black pants and shoes, and he wore a total of five rings on each hand, one on each finger even the thumb. He sported an odd-looking tattoo on the back of his hands and his black hair was cleanly cut, extending past his ears before terminating close to his shoulders. Opening his dark blue eyes, the boy surveyed the area with little interest, and soon enough he let out another yawn before sitting back down on the ground, ignoring the battle around him as the shinigami wrestled with the Avant-garde.

But before he could doze off, one of the shinigami managed to crawl up behind him and wielding his sword, he brought blade swinging down towards his neck only to be stopped by the boy’s hand as it flew through the air to grab the blade. Before the shinigami could utter a sound, he was cast side by the boy, sending him flying into the 4th Division’s hospital ”Oops, guess I should’ve held back.” the boy apologized, surprisingly honest as he scratched the back of his head ”Eh… I wonder where the others are.” he wondered aloud as he waited. Truth be told, he had somewhat forgotten what he was supposed to do.

Haru Mori
Lieutenant, Fourth Division
Sereitei, Soul Society

[Fourth Division: Sōgō Kyūgo Tsumesho]

Haru Mori, the estranged lieutenant of the Fourth Division, stood by the wide window of the room where he was confined in deep silence. He looked at the dark night sky and then thought that maybe more of those creatures were now rampant across Sereitei. As moments passed by, Haru grew restless and became more paranoid. Somewhere out there, lives of countless unseated members of the Gotei militia were being risked to protect their home; meanwhile, Haru was trapped in a dark room by his own captain without even giving him a proper reason. He wondered, perhaps, the strange beings were mutilating and hurting as much Shinigami as they can.

"I can't stand by here!" Haru exclaimed in frustration and then stomped his right foot at the floor, like a child having useless tantrums. But in the end, he knew all too well that it was not a very advisable habit to ignore a superior's order; those things only happened on ridiculous fiction stories. And then he thought, in case Kougji did send him to the front lines, would he be able to defend himself from the instant-regenerating foes? Another voice spoke in his mind that it wasn't his task to be sent on the front lines for he was a medic, this Kougji must know for he wasn't a fool to send Haru. "Then, it is best that we secure a place that everyone will be safe, a haven, where most people would be able to heal their injuries..." Haru said aloud, as if talking to the air. He began to pace around the room as he waited for his captain. "But it is also implied that it is in the Fourth Division already... but of course, still, we need to secure a place that must be one hundred percent free." He whispered to himself, reciting proper protocols on what to do in such emergencies.

And as if Kougji was an answer to the conclusion that Haru formed in his mind, the captain went into the room. He informed Haru that he inspected the lower levels and that there was "something" that lurked the dark corridors of the Sōgō Kyūgo Tsumesho. At this point, an instant alarm set off in Haru's mind. If an enemy unit had infiltrated the medical division itself, then they must focus on eradicating it until it is safe to perform their duties. And as if Kougji was reading his mind, he stated that the Fourth Division should remain on where they were. Haru, by this time, deduced that he should patrol the corridors as fast as he can. Kougji, after all, was not as dim-witted as Haru first thought of him.

Haru nodded. "Yes, I will do my best." Haru said softly and then picked up his katana. And at the very precise moment, he felt a soft prickling sensation that occurred in his palm. He also most dropped his sword, thinking that he perhaps unsheathed it and sliced himself, but he found the cover still intact. He dismissed the sensation for after all it was momentary and then dashed to Kougji's presence. "I am ready, Bushūgi-taichō." The lieutenant said with a confident tone.

Hakase Hei & Hakase Tsukiko
Jūnibantai (十二番隊, 12th Division)

[Nest of Maggots, Cell Block G]

"Now then, what's this about Space-Time?" Hei's overall attitude saw a shift from cheerful to one that was more serious, not so much that it was off putting as he didn't want to scare Tsukiko, but enough to let her know it was time to be serious. The girl rubbed her eyes with her sleeve, and exhaled a sigh as she prepared herself to respond, but this didn't seem to take much effort as she was more at ease with her father around, even with the sterner attitude she only saw when she did something wrong. "There's this hole thingy near mommy's quarter's and it's like an inter-dimensional window that's showing Hueco Mundo's underground forest. Anything that touches it gets eaten alive, and I've run simulations that show that, provided there's one of identical nature in Hueco Mundo, which I assume to be so, will cause both the Soul Society and Heuco Mundo to merge on an atomic level, splicing matter into each other and killing us all in one fell swoop, or worse..." Hei backed up as she spoke, and eased himself onto the raggedy, thin mattress that was his bed, and then moved his hands to her waist to hold her still as he leaned against the wall for his own support.

To say he was surprised about this hole was an understatement; he was throughly shocked, but he knew full well that if he showed a hint of emotion in regards to it, it would compromise everything he had just done to calm her. He couldn't even yet ask the fate of the rest of his family for fear of jarring her emotional integrity, but since she wasn't crying about Senka or Yuki, he figured they probably were safe. He watched her face as it screwed up into different expressions to match the motions she was making with her hands to describe what she had seen. "And there are these weird white things with red hats that are worse than Zen-chan 'cuz they duplicate after esploding and they heal an' everything! Yeah... that's about it." She dare not mention that she knew the kind of sentient thought they were capable of, lest he question her further and discover the powers that she had used to understand this information. Luckily the Sekkiseki was hindering his ability to sense the mild Hollow-like aura that radiated from her arm; it was only possible to sense when one was this close to her for longer than a few seconds. "Well..." Frankly, he wasn't sure what to do; this was clearly a figurative iceberg he had only hit the tip of, and it was much more up Tsukiko's alley of expertise, that much was for sure.

User Image "Are your sister and mother safe?" She nodded her response and relief washed over him like a wave; she had put Senka with Yuki and she knew Rei was guarding the hospital. "All right, so there's a hole here that you're scared will cause us to merge with Hueco Mundo..." He racked his brains for a moment, looking for something he could say to steer her in the right direction or possibly spark an idea from her. Remembering something, he chuckled, prompting her to more or less slap his cheek while putting on a comical glare. "No laughing, this is serious, daddy." He shook his head, taking her hand from his face and chuckling some more. "No, I just couldn't help but remember how around the time when you were seven, your mother was holding you near the kitchen sink and all you could see was the dish drain. You must have thought it was something bad because we found you hovering over the sink later that day, pouring glue into the drain until it was stopped up. It's too bad you can't just plug up this hole, eh?" Although he meant it in jest to lighten her mood, what he said must have enlightened her to the current situation because she looked taken aback at first, but then her expression changed to that of sudden realization. A sly smile crept itself across his face when he recognized that look, and he moved to set her down on the ground on her feet. "So, do you have a solution?" Tsukiko brought her hand to her forehead as she was set down, scratching it lightly for a moment as she considered the possibilities. "Something like that..." Without warning, she reached forward and buried her face into her father's chest as she hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, daddy. I have to go now." With muffled words, she expressed her thanks to her father and then peeled herself off him and padding towards the door. "So you're going to glue the hole shut then?" He pat her on the head and watched her move away and exit the cell before she responded with a laugh, already halfway down the hall when she did. "Something like that!" Hei quirked an eyebrow, not entirely sure what to make of it all, but instead of dwelling on it, he rose to his feet and eyed the cell bars that he had removed. After a second, he picked them up again and moved them to where they belonged, and then addressed Hideki as he lined the bars up with the holes at the bottom. "Do make sure she stays safe." Again came the sound of metal on stone as he forced the bars back in place, doing so for a few moments until they stopped moving on him. Naturally there was evidence they had been torn out, but all of it was on his side of the wall. Exhaling a sigh, he turned away and sat back down on his bed, hoping the situation worked out for the best.

[Near 7th Division]

A large amount of Intemporal began to swarm through the trees near the 7th Division. Nearing around 12 to 15, they were a large white mass in the darkness that blanketed the ground beneath the canopy. A few unexpecting Shinigami were still training within the forest and found out, first hand, what kind of destruction a group could bring; the group taking them by surprise and completely obliterating them before replicating. As if looking for a spot, the Intemporal reached a point in the depths of the forest before stopping and huddling around a central tree. The area began to warp in appearance, becoming twisted before returning to normal and then reoccurring. After about a half a minute of this continuous stress on the Space-Time, a few of the trees began to vanish from existence. After the tenth tree vanished the Intemporal stopped in their huddled movement before exploding en masse and causing most of the forest to vanish from sight. The left over smoke muddled the image of a tall man standing in the epicenter of the blast. If there were people around to actually see the Space-Time changing, they would have seen glimpses of this man every time the realm warped and buckled.

Through the smoke, the silhouettes of the fallen Avant-Garde were continuing to form as they regenerated. They were all around this man in the center, just standing with an air of eeriness, the ground and charred tree’s still cracking from the flames left on them. The entire explosion woke many from the 7th Division and they rushed to the scene gathering around the incident, not wanting to run into the smoke. As they showed up the silhouette in the middle lifted a hand and pushed it forward, causing the Avant-Garde to dip forward and fly from the smoke to attack the Shinigami. Some explode and duplicated, some did not have too, but nonetheless as they attack, the smoke began to clear the elderly man standing in the middle came to light. His long silver hair, shone bright like a second, more slender moon in the 10 o’clock air. He had one eye open, which seemed to reflect the light in the night to make it appear more demonic in a sense. His hand motioned to his coat and he pulled out a small pocket watch, clicking it open. After the time was checked the man, clasped it shut and tucked it away before bowing ever so slightly towards the Shinigami before executing a Hâte and moving to the street nearest to the 9th Division.

[Near 9th Division – en route to 4th Division area]

Stopping in the middle of the street the man pressed his index finger and his thumb to the bridge of his nose and rubbed slight. “Where is Roi…The damn child is probably lost. Tch.” His deep voice was quite imposing in the silence of the night, but no one was around to truly hear it at all. Vide set his first goal as of that moment, which to find Roi, which in all actuality, should not be incredibly hard to do. Using Lire-esprit, Vide tapped into Roi’s mind, hacking his way to find out where he was, which was simple using the memories of when he first opened his eyes in the Seireitei. Roi would feel this presence in his mind, as it was a mutual exchange or share of thoughts, and Vide simply forced his way into his mind. After attaining the info needed, Vide stepped off the ground and executed a few Hâte to appear on the same street as Roi, whom he could see some yards ahead of him. “It’s about time we start things on the right foot.” Vide began to move up the street and reached Roi in a few minutes, relatively quick for the distance. As he approached, Vide slipped his left hand behind his back and nodded towards him, whether he saw it or not, and began to speak, “Roi. Are you at all ready for what is ahead? Truly? You seem quite lost at the moment.” Making sure to find if his cohort was on the right grounds to continue with the mission, Vide asked the simple question to get his opinion of himself. Hopefully the boy was not as lost as it seemed, or Vide would have to do everything himself. A most tedious thing to do, to say the least.

_________ Rei Nagare Spirit Manifestation
______________________"My right hand is death. My left hand is life.
__________________________________ | _ My eyes are madness..."

A while after Hideki had left her to carry out her request, Rei had gotten to the point that she thought the situation was resolving itself or at the very least becoming less of a problem. This was due to the fact that although she could see buildings disappearing, nothing radically new was occurring to make the situation worse. This ease that she had let herself fall into was quickly washed away when the creatures that she had trapped in amber-like water were suddenly freed due to the water vanishing into thin air. She cringed openly at the sight of this, and saw that hey were advancing once more. Rei jumped back in an effort to get some distance between herself and them, and in doing so, saw the others she had trapped get free when their bindings vanished as well. Particularly disheartening to see was that the one she had trapped in a ring of fire had apparently run itself into the high temperature flames so much that it had duplicated at least seven times, creating over a hundred new creatures that quite literally spilled out of the fire ring as soon as it vanished. Like the others, these creatures swarmed her and then detonated at once, and with little other choice, she surrounded the explosions with water that she once again solidified.

It was a shot in the dark at best, but at the very least, it would hold for a little while like it had initially. Plus, she didn't give them a chance to duplicate just yet for that matter. Her problems were not yet lain to rest, for as soon as they all exploded on her, she felt several new presences enter the Seireitei, or more accurately, suddenly appear there as though they had teleported from the Rukongai. The closest of which was right near the Hospital, between it and the 12th Division Labs. Seeing a few Shinigami rounding the bend in her peripheral, she was prepared to order them to stand guard outside Yuki's room when she heard a crash on the other side. The spirit wasted no time in sprinting towards the source of the noise, and upon doing so saw Roi standing there, having just tossed someone into the side of the hospital. It was obvious the well being of others or structures was not his chief concern, and the fact that he almost caused harm to her mistress made him an enemy. No sooner than she had seen him did she bear witness to another approach him, and then speak to him about what was ahead.

It was then that she fully understood that they were not nice people, and they were clearly on the side of those creatures. There was no sense in talking to them, that much was clear, so as she rapidly grew in size, Rei was already changing form to accommodate her offensive attack. In seconds, she towered over the majority of the structures in the Seireitei, coming at just above eye level with Sokyoku Hill so that she could rest her chin on it should she so desire. Now a massive kitsune with eight whip-like tails and an upper body like that of a human's, Rei exhaled a deafening roar, one that was enough to make even Hei himself cringe at the sound of it. Then, with little provocation and using the roar to startle her foes, she lifted her right clawed-hand from the ground and made a single, swiping motion to pick Roi and Vide up off the ground and fling them clear across the Seireitei and into the whereabouts of the academy. The safety of Yuki and her daughter was the most important thing to Rei, thus she had to move the threat elsewhere; while selfish of her, the rest of the Seireitei was of little concern to her.

[That swipe's supposed to knock Roi away, Vide too, but maybe not as far... The air pressure would make it hard for them to right themselves, so consider that too~]

[Nest of Maggots]

Hideki idly twiddled his thumbs while he silently overheard and took mental notes of the conversation going on between the father and child. It was not as if he could help it, either. His ears were modified to hear incredibly well and being in such a dank and quiet place only let their voices resonate that much farther than normal. Still, when his twiddling became tiresome, he would step off the wall and stretch before spinning on his heel and returning to original position. He kept his eyes focused at the door to the corridor outside the dungeon. Hideki really did not want anyone intruding, lest they want to disobey him and cause a ruckus. He was most relieved when no one came and he finally heard the conversation come to a peaceful end. Hideki watched Tsukiko move from the cell and happily move towards the door, respond to her father, and continue, at which point he moved forward. His steps were loud in the cold stone and were accompanied by Hei's voice addressing Hideki and then the sound of metal wrenching back in place. Hideki cringed slightly at the pitch of the noise but looked at Hei steadily and nodded, "Of course. As best I can. Don't loose yourself in here. It seems a bit lonely. 'Might go crazy." Hideki hoped that Hei would note the laden sarcasm that was laced in the words to help Hei not worry that much, and was assured he would. Hideki stepped away towards the last of his sentence, the "'Might go crazy." echoing down the hallway.

Hideki quickly caught up to Tsukiko and walked to her pace, leading her out of the Nest of Maggots before simply stating, "What is it you need?" This was Hideki's way of letting Tsukiko know he was willing to help her in anyway possible both work and supply-wise. With this statement, the rest was up to Tsukiko and Hideki would follow to aid in anyway he could.

Fuyu continued advancing forward. Ignoring the creatures that were around him and simply charging in a straight line towards the 12th division. In addition to ignoring the creatures he also ignored walls and buildings, simply punching a hole into them as they came to stand in his way. In very little time he was almost at the 12th division, having destroyed many walls and trampled through the second division. Though his short trip he had not seen many shinigami though he figured this crisis had the shinigami all tied up. Not that it mattered to him, he wasn't here to interfere for either side currently, simply to answer some of his questions about the occurring events.

As he was almost at his destination hundreds of the creatures suddenly turned from sentient to hostile and began to converge on him. Instantly Fuyu materialized a Hyapporankan into his right palm and crouched down, pushing straight up into the air and cratering the ground below him. As the creatures began to explode Fuyu was already out of their reach. When he came to a safe distance he stopped ascending and looked down. As the smoke cleared he could see the creatures were twice what they had previously been. With a sigh he tossed the Hyapporankan down as it rapidly multiplied growing to equal two staff's for each of the creatures. As the poles began to strike the creatures and then pierce the ground a net began to form between them, this being the work of Tenma Ami. As the final step in the combination everything began to glow red, starting with the net, expanding into the poles and finally engulfing the creatures. "Bakudō #9: Geki" By stating the name of the final spell Fuyu placed much more strength into it than what it would have regularly carried.

He hoped that the measures he had placed against the mass of creatures would prevent them from being able to detonate once more, allowing him to not have to worry about the creatures any longer, however as he was up in the air he began to feel something much more problematic. A huge source of power had just erupted near Fuyu and as he turned to see what it was he could see a creature rapidly growing in size, becoming a huge fox like creature. As the creature grew Fuyu saw two other beings among the creatures in front of the fox creature. He couldn't clearly make them out, but it was obvious that they were what the Fox was focused on. When the fox took a swipe at the people Fuyu shot forward towards the 12th division, though he was no longer so sure of why he should be heading there since the danger was escalating it was likely that no one who knew anything would be there.

User Imagewoah! HELLO !

[Nest of Maggots, Outside]

Despite the fact that the events that were happening across the Seireitei were hard to miss, Tsukiko remained ignorant to them. At least up until she got out of the prison and returned to the forest, catching the sight of the destroyed wall that kept the 2nd Division forest separated from the 1st Division's storage buildings. She remembered seeing destruction similar to this in a line from the 4th Division to the 12th Division, which she later learned to be the work of the Sephira who had caused her physical body's demise those months ago. She had later watched the surveillance tapes, bearing witness to the lunkhead Arian plowing through walls and buildings like a damn moron; it seemed someone had done this once again. This was confirmed when, after jumping atop the prison, she saw that the other wall had a hole in it, and similar structural damage lead towards the 12th. "Ai ya da si ni..." She muttered in Cantonese for no apparent reason, rubbing the back of her head in annoyance. It seemed someone wanted into the 12th; too bad they'd never get there. She turned to speak to Hideki in order to respond to his earlier question, but stopped short when she saw Rei in her over-sized fox form looming over the 4th Division. She wouldn't take that form unless there was a problem, so clearly something was up. "We don't have time to waste, come on..." With this, the child hopped into the air after spotting Fuyu, stepped off the empty sky as she neared the apex of her jump, and then flipped her body over, executing a Kokū Shukuchi and a Shukuchi Mukyō at the same time. The end result was a loud shock wave and two concentric rings of pressurized air spreading from where her foot had been, and Tsukiko landing directly in between Fuyu and the 12th Division after a few seconds had passed.

[Arcane Science Research and Development Laboratory, Outside]

In the space in which she landed, she quickly projected a dome-shaped barrier of gravity around herself and the labs. Her foremost concern now was their safety, as she couldn't exactly do what she had set out to do if they were destroyed. From the looks of things, namely the way this Fuyu character ran through the Seireitei, barreling through walls like a moron, they were going to suffer some damage. Having just rebuilt them, she was in no mood to make repairs outside the damage sustained from her fits of rage. She quickly turned the spherical barrier of gravity into Shinra Tensei, expanding it so it would stop Fuyu in his tracks and forcefully push him back, or at the very least cause him to stop his charging through and move out of the way, provided he understood what the dark green field meant. She halted the barrier, stopping it from expanding, then stabilized it and left it there to stand. She glanced his way now, tilting her head to the side as she filled the air with an increased field of gravity, intent on making it harder for him to move, and likewise corrupt the trajectory of attacks. Following this, she extended her hand towards him, noting Hideki coming up as well. "I don't know who you are, but if you think you're going to get into here by force, you have another thing coming. If you wish to gain access to the Labs, you must go through the proper channels. However, due to the fact that you're running around, smashing open walls like a gorilla on drugs, I'm disinclined to acquiesce to such a desire. Switching from one of stark annoyance, her expression changed to that of genuine sincerity as she then calmly resumed talking with a voice that was eerily similar to a receptionists. "Rest assured, our policy is, "if for any reason you're not satisfied, I hate you." As soon as she said the "I hate you" part, her face turned to annoyance once more, at which point she removed the same cell-phone-like device that she had out earlier, and put it to her ear. "Yeah, it's me. Turn the barrier on for safe measure, I've got some idiot out here trying to force his way inside."

Roi was a few minutes away from literally sleeping on the job when he felt a foreign presence making its way into his mind. Of course Roi was aware of this fact, and he also knew who was performing the deed ”Ah…! Gramps is here too early!” he yelled out, flailing his arms about as Vide’s presence exited his mind, having most likely found out where he was, and was probably on his way to give him a scolding. Knowing this the child simply hanged his head in defeat as he waited for his superior to arrive.

When he finally arrived, Roi was in a bit of a sour mood, pouting as he crossed his arms across his chest. Though, he did this while facing the other way from Vide, the boy had no qualms about disrespecting his superiors, but he certainly wasn’t going to do it directly in front of them. As the man asked him, Roi seemed to squirm for a bit before finally replying ”Kinda, I guess.” he managed to stutter out ”We just attack them and drive them out, right? Shouldn’t be too… difficult…” Roi continued, before his voice trailed off as he caught sight of Rei’s monstrous form as the spirit transformed dangerously close to them.

Awestruck, Roi simply stared at the demonic fox, his mouth hanging open as the spirit let out a deafening roar that echoed throughout Seiretei. To say that she was hostile would be an understatement, but despite that Roi didn’t seem all that bothered ”Kitty!” exclaimed the child joyfully, stretching his hands out towards Rei as if to welcome a pet. Obviously the spirit was a fox, but Roi thought it would be a better idea to name her Kitty than Foxxy. However, Rei was by no means a pet and this was proven when she effortlessly hurled Roi, and possibly Vide, through several buildings before crashing into the Soul Academy.

The impact kicked up a mountain of dust, and caused several of the nearby Shinigami who weren’t caught in the blast to run away in fear and panic. But before the debris could settle, Roi’s voice echoed out ominously ”Quatre les Couronnes.” he began, immediately bathing the area in reiatsu dark enough to rival that of a madman ”Couronne de l’Enfer…” as soon as he finished uttering the words, a massive arcane circle erupted from the area, bearing the mark engraved on Roi’s hands in the very center, and the words ”La Jambe Droite” were etched along the edges of the circles. Soon afterwards a bellowing howl resounded from the circle, deep and powerful; it shook the area closest to it in its wake. It heralded the beast that of the circle, a massive monstrosity, with the body of a whale and the limbs of a dog; its massive body was littered with ivory obelisks that were embedded on the thick hide beneath its pitch black fur. Letting out a growl, it charged its way back towards Rei, plowing through everything in front of it.

Roi's responses to him were quite expected, as Roi was, after all, but a child. Vide understood and simply sighed outwardly before nodding towards the boys response. "Yes yes, I assume you could put it as simple as that." At this point, Rei had assumed her monstrous form and Vide's eyes slid to view it. "Dear, that is imposing..." As he mumbled this small sentence Roi yelled out 'Kitty!' which muffled it even more than it had been by itself. At that point Vide put his right hand to his face and sighed, "Such a child..." Around this time Rei had began to send her hand down upon them and Vide removed his hand from his face and eyed the hand with an almost annoyed look before he lifted his left hand up and push it out with his palm facing Rei's hand. Just before her hand would have landed, Vide bent his arm at the elbow and braced for the impact.

The force behind her 'smack' was incredible and it shoved Vide back, his hand and arm pushing towards his body for the first few second before Vide shoved his hand forward, putting more between him and her hand. Just as he did, he was thrown through a few buildings until the next was completely gone from reality, in which he used the space to spin and stop his movement. Dust filling the air around him, Vide used his Lévitation technique to gain height and be rid of that area. As he moved out of the dust, he was patiently dusting off his attire with a soft pat in various areas. After Vide was completely satisfied with his attires look, he shot an infuriated looked towards Rei. "The fox will die. She will die first."

Noting that Roi had taken action already, Vide shot forward towards Rei, flanking her from the back-left and held his hands out to the side. A dark-blue mass of energy began to swirl from a small pearl until it was the size of a bowling ball, roughly, and cased in some yellow energy on both palms as he approached. When he was but 15 feet from her, Vide let the Ruine Nulle fly towards their mark as he bolted to the right, moving to behind her and pulling his body together, almost like her was curling into a ball. His hands began to coat themselves in his gold-colored reiatsu until it began to amass itself into the form of a wolf's head. "Pistolet Loup." Vide began to throw his arms violently forward, in a series of quick, flurried punches, and sent out a volley of these wolf-like projectiles of incredibly powerful explosive energy. They began to form pseudo-legs before bolting all around Rei's body, attacking her from every angle they could. Regardless if they hit or not, they would explode with an incredible force and the area was riddled with around 75 of them.

The two threats now swept away by her own strength, Rei returned her clawed hand-like appendage to the ground, digging it into the tile that cracked underneath her weight. She knew well enough what was coming if they weren't dead; the repercussions for her actions wouldn't be small. It took little for the spirit to recognize their locations and the spike in Roi's internal energies as he mounted a counter-attack. Like she had planned, he was knocked far enough away from the hospital that it would be a decent trip back if he were to retaliate. Much to her annoyance, however, he chose to summon a large familiar, similar to herself in principle, that took the form of a whale-dog hybrid that looked like it had a city growing out of it's body. "Our attackers are freaks... Che." If she could have twitched her nose in annoyance, she would have done so, but instead she positioned her tails to move to her lower back like they were wrapping themselves around a large ball. By doing so, she started to create a rather gargantuan sphere of Reiyoku within the pocket created by her tails. The familiar was getting closer, but meanwhile, Vide was on the move just the same. She could sense him easily with her abilities, so no matter where he moved, she could ping him even as he was coming out of his Hâte.

Rei decided to ignore the two miniature spheres he was trying to attack her with, knowing well her own body would sustain the damage quite well, and instead took the moment of Vide's first attack to move the ball. Five of her tails moved away to reveal the swirling, black and gray sphere of pure, raw energy, while the other three cradled it, then wrapped further around it and flung it in the direction of Roi's summon, aiming straight for it's face, knowing full well the full destructive power of her attack would probably wipe it's face off, if not obliterate it completely. Quickly, she moved her tails like whips, and began defending against the projectiles of energy that Vide was making, knocking them away and enduring the explosions as if they were minor annoyances. Then, as soon as she felt them stop, she pinpointed his location and moved her clawed hand to him, as if to pick him up, but instead of doing so, she moved to smack him from behind with one of her tails to properly knock him away from the Hospital, rather than the minimal distance she had last time. Then, she replaced her full-grown fox form with her full-human form, landing atop the Hospital as she did so. If Roi stopped attacking her, she would quickly move to Vide's new location to engage him, if he did not stop, she'd remain in the same place.

As soon as the barrier that the little girl had created got close to Fuyu he disappeared from his spot leaving behind an after-image. The real Fuyu appeared directly above the girl as she pointed towards the clone and spoke. “See the thing is, I only came here to get some answers, and running around every which way wastes my time in doing that, while barreling through in a straight line is the fastest way. Which I must say you guys need some sturdier walls out there.” He was crouched in the air above the barrier with his elbows resting on his knees and his hands meeting out in front of his knees. He was looking down at the girl through the gap created, and as the look of annoyance was obvious on her face he couldn’t help but grin. “Plus I had no intention of harming the labs, I was just coming here to look for someone who could tell me what is going on, and I’m going to assume that you are the one who can tell me.”

Since the girl had already proven she was hostile Fuyu released the brunt of his Reiryoku and continued to look down at the girl, waiting for her to look up towards him so that he could lock eyes with her and shoot her with a moment of paralysis. However this was all the farther Fuyu intended on going with things for the moment. Attacking any of the shinigami would not get his questions answered about what was going on and what the creatures he had encountered were. So for now his best option was merely to try and keep things semi-peaceful and simply give a small retaliation to the girl attacking him as soon as she got there. “So now will you simply tell me what you know or can we not be on that friendly level?”

"Truth is simply a conception..."

[Nest of Maggots]

"Nanda?" Hideki muttered softly when Tsukiko turned as if to say something, but did not. He turned his head in the same direction and saw that gargantuan fox that was looming not to far away, by the looks of it. She may have been big, but it was not hard to tell she was close and not on the other side of the Seireitei. His trance as he starred at the large beast was broken when Tsukiko spoke. Hideki's head snapped towards her to only see her jump into the air and then the incredibly dismount, if one could call it that, off of the air in the form of a sonic boom and the concentric rings that followed. It was not entirely hard to figure out where she was going, as there was only one place she would want and need to go at a time like this, so her being slightly ahead meant little to Hideki at the moment. Still, Hideki followed behind with some quickly executed Shunpo. Hideki arrived near, but not next to, Tsukiko in front of the labs, staring down this man named Fuyu, which was currently unknown to him.

[Arcane Science Research and Development Laboratory, Outside]

Hideki eyed the long string of straight-shot holes in the walls leading towards the Seireitei that was immediately behind Fuyu. It was his obvious method of getting to here, and while it was true a straight line is the quickest point to a destination, it was annoying to see that one would do such a thing so blatantly to simply reach a location. Hideki was not so close so as to be affected by the Shinra Tensei that Tsukiko used, but was near enough to understand what she was saying and what she wanted Hideki to do. Thus, Hideki executed a Shunpo to appear around 3 feet near Fuyu; when he was above the barrier, and slid his hands into pockets. "If you need any answers, don't pester a young child. You can answer to me now. Sorry, let me rephrase that; you will answer to me now." Hideki's eyes narrowed and his voice was filled with, more or less, a tone of authority. Which, all-in-all, was quite true for Hideki to have in some ways or another. Hideki was ready for this man to act upon these words, but what would come next remains up to the strange man wanting questions in front of him.
