Only when she is furious does her demeanor shift; she will openly display her anger on her face and through her stance and her Reiatsu will switch from crimson to black with red edges. Since becoming Captain Commander, she has learned to shut away her maternal instincts and deal with her subordinates in a quick, decisive manner and speak to them without hint of positive emotion when upset with them. She is not a woman to tolerate insubordination, and is vocal with those who attempt to act in such a manner. Although she is completely used to everything he could come up with scientifically, Yuki is quite over protective of her little brother and with this comes the constant worry of an older sibling which never ceases to plague her mind. She remains, to date, the only individual that can both calm and control Hei when he is angered or otherwise out-of-control, being the only person with intimate knowledge of his mind and also holding the power to match his abilities and counter them. Little known, unless one has ventured into her room or quarters, is that she has a huge sweet-tooth and loves stuffed animals of all kinds, owning a large collection of the latter and having quite the assortments of candies and chocolates littered across her room and quarters.
Prior to the one year time skip after she was elected the woman to replace Tomomi, Yuki had feelings that she was inadequate for the job. However, these feelings have since been blown away during the time-skip as she strengthened her resolve, leading to her feeling quite comfortable with her new position._____________Biography850 to 358 years ago
123 years ago at 727 years of age and looking about 47, Hei was arrested and Yuki lived by herself for 27 years while he was locked away. She was beside herself during this, visiting him every chance she got, shirking her Captain's duties and leaving them for her Lieutenant to complete. Often dazed, she paid little attention to anyone in particular and spent her time away from Hei's cell sleeping or simply lying in bed, cuddling a stuffed animal and staring out the window above her bed. It was only after Hei was released that she came out of her shell and became happier.
94 years ago at 759 years of age, Yuki bore Hei a child, Tsukiko, who lived semi-healthily for about four an half years before contracting a particularly resilient strand of Influenza. Despite his best efforts, Hei was unable to synthesize a cure in time as the strand had taken a stronger toll on the child's already weak constitution. After Tsukiko's death, Yuki entered a state of deep depression, though she refused to let anyone help her through her troubles. She took an extended leave from her duties while she holed herself up in her room in the Hakase mansion, refusing to talk to anyone and eating only the bare minimum and only rarely. During the months that Hei worked to bring Tsukiko back to her, she began to wear thin, growing malnourished and weak, much to the worry of their adoptive parents who were still unaware of the fact that their children had had a child. Years passed as Yuki's condition failed to improve, and she was on the brink of simply giving up any and all hope and stopped eating completely. It was a month later and she was brought back from her depression when Hei presented her with her daughter, reborn and aged several years. Overjoyed, Yuki began a fitness regimen and slowly slid back into her previously active lifestyle where she was a healthy young woman, taking on her Captain's duties once more and socializing once more.
After Hei's death, Yuki broke down mentally, letting all of her powers run rampant until she collapsed in the form of a three-year old. Though she was severely depressed, she did her best to conquer it as Tsukiko was taking his death much harder than she was, so she tried to get over her own feelings so she could make Tsukiko feel better. As Hei's funeral came, Yuki was still distraught but continued to hide her feelings. She did a complete turn around after Dolor showed up and attempted to ruin Hei's funeral. After his capture, she was elected the replacement Captain Commander after it was learned that Tomomi had been abducted and nowhere to be found.
During the one year time skip, she took over as temporary head of the Hakase household while Hei, the new head, was in a coma. After this coma ended, she married Hei in a private chapel, their union being known only to the man who married them and Tsukiko herself. Also during this time, she has cemented herself as being Captain Commander of the Gotei 13. She achieved this by assisting each of her Captains during their training over the months that followed the defeat of the Exaequare, and also learned to control herself in terms of being a leader.
Following Tsukiko's and Elisia's wedding when the Sephira attacked, Yuki was in the human world up when Ori showed up. She was shortly called back by Nanashi, but before she could do any real damage to the Sephira leader, she discovered she was pregnant with Senka, prompting her to call for a timely retreat. Following this, she ordered the Hollowfication of four captains and the training of the others. During the year and a half time skip, Yuki gave birth to Senka, then entered a training regimen to get back in shape and return her body to fighting fit.
During the take over of the Seireitei back from the Sephira, Yuki engaged Ori in combat, matching him up until Hei arrived to assist her. By combining their powers, they were able to damage Ori before Aurelius stripped him of his hybrid powers. Yuki then used Uranometria to deal the final blow, and was put in a coma as a result, as she remains currently.
Seven months later, she was brought back to health and resumed her post. In 2045, Yuki learned she was yet again pregnant, this time with twin girls. Eventually she took pregnancy leave and let Kazuhiko take up her post for a time. In February of 2046, when Yuki was well into her pregnancy with Riku and Risa, she took some time to herself to visit Rome, staying in a special gigai while she was there. She stayed in a small village with a few of their maids, and kept communications open with Hei. A particularly powerful hollow became aware of this new level of power and took advantage of her situation, attacking her and leaving her for dead. While crippled, she used her remaining energy to facilitate her womb's functions in order to save the twins, and managed to contact Hei, who was able to bring her back to the Seireitei in time to save both her and the children.
She was weakened for a time, and it wasn't until a while after childbirth that she was back on her feet and in command of the Gotei 13 once more. When Senka was the equivalent of a human seven-year-old, Yuki taught her Jinzen and then facilitated the training of her Bankai. Shortly after the completion of Senka's training, Yuki stepped down as Captain Commander, handing the reins over to Senka. She remains a consultant for the 1st Division and has also secured a spot in the Central 46, being the first female on staff in the history of the organization. Despite this, she does not live Seijōtōkyorin and instead spends most of her days in peace with her children and Hei._____________OtherZanpakutō Position: Disguised as a miniature kitsune that follows her around.
Accessories: Yuki carries various medical supplies inside her haori's pockets and wears a ring on both her pinky and ring finger on her left hand. The ring on her ring finger, while not an actual wedding ring, acts as one to let others know that she is currently taken. She wears a single necklace that is often mistaken for two since it has two rings, a bangle and a metal ring on her left upper arm, two bracelets that are silver and blue, and a single pair of earrings.

 ___________________Spirit_____________AppearanceRei is capable of taking on three different forms; a kitsune form, a full human form, and a hybrid state in which she appears fully human, but has kitsunemimi growing out of her head, and eight kitsunebi sprouting from the base of her spine. In her human forms, Rei is rather busty woman with sandy colored hair and dressed in thick geta, pale-white robes, matching pale-white stockings, and carrying a Shakujō that doesn't appear to serve a purpose. Her kitsune form sports red-orange fur and blood-red eyes and resembles a normal fox while in its smaller forms, but gains a human-like upper body complete with opposable thumbs on it's clawed hands when in its larger forms._____________PersonalityRei can be seen as a very sexually-oriented spirit, one who constantly and shamelessly flirts with others. It can be implied by her mannerisms that she is not above having sexual relations with anyone that piques her interests, but as she is only a spirit, it is not something she is capable of. Rei tends to be flirtatious with her mistress, seeing her as an object of her affection. To this degree, one may infer that Rei has a preference for women, or at least considers both genders attractive. However, to this day, Rei remains unsure as to whether the affection and love towards her mistress is actual carnal desire, or perhaps strictly because Yuki is very kind to her spirit and showers her with praise day in and day out._____________AbilitiesAlthough Rei can use all the abilities Yuki can, there are a few things she can do that Yuki is unable to and never will be able to. Although at only eight tails currently, it is hinted at that by the time Rei reaches nine tails, she will gain greater power that will stop her from taking Yuki's energy, allowing her to age. Due to her massive amounts of Reiryoku, Rei is able to manifest herself and stray from Yuki's side for quite a large distance. Note: None of these abilities are based off Naruto! Physically Rei is originally a kitsune, but has the ability to take a human form, as well as the hybrid form she is usually seen in, disguise her sealed form as a minature kitsune, and adjust the size of her kitsune-form at will.
Human/Hybrid Form Abilities
The abilities are limited to her human and hybrid forms only, both in the inner world as well as when Rei materializes herself. Invisibilty, flight, and willfully manifesting herself in dreams are among these abilities, but are not named.
Kitsune Jimoku (狐耳目, Kitsune's Eyes and Ears)
Similar to a combination of Pesquisa and Reiryoku sensing, Rei is able to hear and see anything within a certain radius of herself by concentrating on a specific area. The radius is said to be as grand as the Seireitei itself, and possibly larger and cannot be blocked by barriers and the like.
Kitsune-tsuki (狐憑き, The State of Being Possessed By a Fox)
Rei is able to possess Yuki's body and animate it according to her will no matter what state it's in. While doing so, Rei can utilize the techniques Yuki can, but risks draining her Reiryoku quicker than normal. While possessing her, Yuki's facial expression matches that of a fox (Gin [Bleach] or Kitsune [Love Hina]), and Rei is usually unable to resist having a physical body, causing her to seek out anyone that can satiate her desire for sexual contact.
Kitsune Form Abilities
The abilities are limited to her Kitsune form only, both in the inner world as well as when Rei materializes herself. Creating tsunamis and leveling mountains with a swipe of its claws are among these abilities, but are not named. At larger sizes, her body boasts incredible stamina, strength, endurance, reflexes, and speed, as well as flawless dexterity of each of her tails, which are her primary modes of attack and defense next to her fangs and claws. It is said by Yuki that two of her tails are sufficient enough to stop and redirect a Cero Oscuras. At her smallest size, Rei is incredibly fast and nearly impossible to catch, and also retains the ability to breathe fire.
Hōshi no Tama (ほしのたま, Star Ball)
Rei uses her tails to mold Reiryoku into a sphere that is unleashed in the form of a devastating wave. At full power, it is capable of wiping out an entire mountain and passing through multiple Advanced Kidō barriers without losing its momentum, while at minimal power it can blow away a building. The power of the attack is directly proportionate to the number of tails Rei uses to create it.
Kitsune-bi (狐火, Fox Fire)
Rei breathes a stream of fire which expands to cause considerable damage to the target and burn up most anything in it's path. Using this ability, it is also possible to generate lightning from her mouth in the form of single or multiple bolts.
Kitsune Unari (唸り, Fox Roar)
Using her massive Reiryoku, Rei turns a simple roar into a deafening, pressurized attack. It can be likened to a shockwave, and can take out a city block.

___________________Zanpakutō Name: Rei Nagare (零 流れ, Zero Stream)
In it's sealed state, Rei Nagare takes the shape of a standard katana with an ornate tsuba that looks like the eye of a kitsune if viewed from the top where the blade itself represents the slitted pupil. The tsuka-ito is blood-red and the habaki is pure gold. Also, while Rei Nagare is sealed, it can be concealed as a miniature version of the spirit's kitsune form, namely a tiny kitsune that is no bigger than a chipmunk. This is directly linked to the kitsune's ability to shape-shift and is the only reason Rei can be concealed as an animal.
List of Sealed Abilities
Flow Awareness
Rei Nagare's primary sealed ability is to synchronize her wielder with things that flow, granting a sixth sense and the ability to divert such matter and control her own body with this power. With this ability she can detect and comprehend the location of Reiryoku or flowing matter, determine the emotional and physical well-being of a living organism by reading their cells, and locate other living organisms by the flow of their blood, regardless of what methods they may be using to conceal their presence. Furthermore, she had skill in lie-detection as a sub-ability of this power. Also, Yuki is capable of diverting the pressure or Reiatsu and it's effects from herself an others, and actively manipulate Reiryoku on a small scale. Furthermore, Yuki is able to cleanse her body of poisons or alcohol in a timely manner that is several times faster than normal, numb her body's instinct to shut itself down after extended period without oxygen and let her go for days without breathing. Finally, Yuki can suspend her biological functions like heart rate and breathing to put herself in a hibernation trance that allows her to go up to a year without food, water, or even air. However, this renders her body vulnerable, and she must be constantly monitored in this state as it could lead to permanent unconsciousness or death due to dehydration or starvation.
Shundōka (瞬同化, Flash Absorption)
The enhanced Reiryoku control supplements Yuki's lack of Kidō skill and allows her to manipulate her own Reiryoku and utilize a false Shunkō. While it is functionally identical to any other's Shunkō, the gathered energy is not white, but instead crimson-colored- taking the hue of her own Reiryoku- and allows for absorption of other Reiryoku sources, which can be used in place of her own to be fired off, though a little of hers is still mixed in.
Shunkō adds +20 to Physical Strength - Strength during its use, which is a total of 3 posts. _____________Inner WorldThe inner world within Yuki's soul that is generated by Rei Nagare's presence is more or less unusual. For starters, the world itself is a forest that is trapped in perpetual winter, where snow fall occurs daily to replace snow moved by the inhabitants of the world, but does not actually increase the height of the snow on the ground. Secondly, in the dead center of the forest, running North to South is a wide river of cold blood. The most unusual aspect of her inner world is that it is a never-ending place, but not in the traditional sense, like space is considered to expand infinitely. The world itself is little bigger than ten miles in every direction- including underground- and making it to this boundary forces the target back to the opposite side. For instance, if Yuki were to keep running North away from the river, she would eventually return to the river from the South side. Flying into the sky or burrowing underground produces similar effects but instead of looping from up to down, it forces the target back to ground-level._____________ShikaiRelease Phrase: Nagarederu (流れ出る, to flow out)
Rei Nagare is released by flipping the sealed form over so the kissaki is pointed at the ground, and then speaking the command "Nagarederu" . Upon release, the katana instantly becomes a katana-shaped mass of blood with a metallic lustre to it that begins to drip towards the ground until all that is left is a rough tanto-like shape. The remaining blood quickly solidifies and takes on the actual form of a tanto. The tanto is pretty standard, plain black and sporting a black cord attached to the sheath that is used to tie the tanto to a belt, either leg, or to her clothes. It has no guard but the habaki, just like when sealed, is made of 24 karat gold. Upon the release of Shikai, Yuki's stats see a change, where her Reiatsu grows to 160 and her Hierro to 160. Furthermore, Rei Nagare's Shikai enables Yuki to control things that flow, which covers a large group of generally moving matter. With Shikai, Yuki can harness the movements of liquids, gases, Reiryoku, and electricity, and move them freely without a shape limit. there is, however, a limit to the quantity she can control, which is comparatively quite high.

Kanryū (貫流, Flowing Through)
Kanryū is Yuki's ability to control flowing matter. With this technique, she can harness liquids, gases, electrical currents, flames, and Reiryoku and control their movements with her mind. While there are limits to the amount of matter she can move at once, there is no limit to the ways in which she can shape them, with the exception of using Kidō in the same way she does in Bankai. [x]  _____________BankaiName: Ōitsu Rei Nagare (横溢 零 流れ, Overflowing Zero Stream)
During her Bankai's release, the tanto form of Rei Nagare creates a spherical barrier around her person that rejects foreign matter in order to prevent interference with her transformation as it takes a little longer than normal. When released, Yuki's Ginjōtan is replaced by a vibrant-red dudō. The dudō, being an ancient Chinese bodice meant to be used as an undergarment, acts as a bra and holds her breasts in place. The rest of her outfit changed as well, leaving her with a matching Cheongsam skirt held together with two red, braided cords, and a pair of Kung-Fu shoes. Her Bankai uniform as a whole is impervious to her Bankai itself, meaning that just like her body it remains unharmed by the effects produced by Kanryūmi. In Bankai, her stats see an adjustment as her Reiatsu is increased to 170, her Hierro is increased to 170, and her Physical Strength is increased to 170 with the addition of Shunkō, Furthermore, Yuki gains a greater control over flow, an improvement from Shikai, as well as a new form of Shunkō, one which utilizes Kidō to change her body and abilities.
Kanryūmi (貫流身, Flowing Through the Body)
In Bankai, Yuki can use the powers of her Shikai to mold her controlled elements by pulling them into her Shundōka and assimilating her body with them. To do so, each element is drawn into Shundōka via Kidō.
Keijō no Entei (形状 の 炎帝, Form of the Flame Empress)
Fire, in the form of a Haien, is drawn into Shundōka and quickly compressed around her body as it adapts to the superheated, 6100°F flames. As she is covered in them, they begin to turn purple until her entire form seems to be comprised of flame. The flames around her body can be shaped just like any other flame, and are designed to burn through Reiryoku as well as matter. Because of this, they can only be extinguished when Oxygen is no longer present, and can burn right through Hierro.
Taemanai Raikō Katachi (絶え間ない 雷光 形, Perpetual Lightning Form)
An electrical current, in the form of Tsuzuri Raiden, is drawn into Shundōka and compresses itself around her body, to create an etheric glow around her that changes her hair color to white. While utilizing this form, her body can move at lightning speeds for instantaneous periods. Her new speed increases her body, but not her reactions, a problem which has been solved by a diluted dose of the Superhuman Drug.
Kōrin Raiden (降臨 の 雷電, Advent of Thunder and Lightning)
With the power of this form, Yuki is able to gather and focus massive amounts of electrical energy in the skies overhead. After she has gathered the necessary electricity, Yuki can designate a target and send that mass of electricity towards it in the form of thousands of bolts of lightning that simultaneously strike the intended target with enough power to vaporize solid rock and liquefy steel alloys.
Sayō no Anya (作用 の 闇夜, Actions of the Dark Night)
Shadow, in the form of a Kurohitsugi, s drawn into Shundōka and compresses itself around her body, causing it to emanate with black Reiryoku and give her the appearance of a human-shaped mass of shadows. In this form, Yuki has an enhanced Hanki, enabling her to use it to halt her opponents movements or negate any tangible attack with an equal but perfectly opposite surge of energy, and fire off blasts of pitch black Reiryoku that have the same power as Gran Rey Cero.

___________________Other Powers and Abilities_____________Shinigami Techniques Immense Endurance
Yuki is capable of fighting for long periods of time even when outnumbered with no visible signs of exhaustion, even against two of Soul Society's strongest captains.
Vast Spiritual Power
As Captain Commander, Yuki's Reiatsu is enough to hinder seasoned Captains while quickly debilitating the weaker ones. Without question, Lieutenants will find themselves hindered to the point where normal function no longer occurs and they may drop to the ground unconscious or unable to breathe. Aside from dispersing it throughout the air to hinder a wide range of targets, her Reiatsu can be fed through her eyes, and she can thusly paralyze someone with a glare, using this glare to direct it only at the person in question and no one else. Any Shinigami that is 3rd seat or lower that experiences the brunt of her Reiatsu will be rendered unconscious within seconds, if not immediately. Her Reiatsu's special effect is to heavily induce sleep in those with a Reiatsu level lower than hers. This effect can be altered to induce comfort and ease weariness to quicken the healing process. Fine Reiryoku control is a forte of hers, meaning nothing ever goes to waste as she has mastered the input and output of the energy, ensuring that the bare minimum of Reiryoku is used for any task, which allows her to keep the majority of her power in reserve.
Immense Strength
Despite her small build, Yuki has shown tremendous physical strength as shown from how easily she is able to hold back a full powered strike from Hei in Bankai, punch a hole in solid marble with a simple tap of her katana's saya or it's kashira, break through almost any level of Armor and Hierro, and break out of Bakudō up to #70.
Kidō Grand Master: Yuki's knowledge of Kidō is vast enough she has been seen using high-level Kidō without incantation, and stringing together medium-level Kidō to create new instances of Kidō. Due to her past as the former Chief of Medicine and 4th Division Captain, Yuki has mastery over all Chiyudō.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant
Yuki is a highly dangerous combatant even without her Zanpakutō and is a powerful master in hand-to-hand combat. Given her low level of Reiryoku armor, Yuki has adapted to sword users by utilizing bare-handed blade interception techniques so that she may not get cut, and will intercept barehanded strikes with her palms or will redirect the strike elsewhere. She is quite adept in Kung Fu, but she is not limited to that style of fighting as she has developed two highly destructive offensive techniques.
Master Swordsmanship Specialist
Yuki has proven herself to be an incredibly proficient user of many forms of swordsmanship and can often hold off her opponents without even releasing her Zanpakutō. While fighting offensively, she has shown tremendous agility and dexterity, able to combine both sword and barehanded skills to simultaneously strike with her sword and kick opponents with great force. She is capable of fighting four captain-level Shinigami simultaneously and her skill in swordsmanship has been shown to be powerful enough to take down her opponent with a single precise strike. Furthermore, she has developed a sword style of her own.
Master Strategist & Tactician
Just as Hei was born a genius, Yuki was born a brilliant person in her own right. While not quite as intellectually gifted as her brother, with her years of experience of watching his tactical genius along with being the Commander of the entire Gotei 13, Yuki is still a very intelligent woman. She is capable of quickly adjusting to new developments and making quick decisions accordingly. She has great tactical acumen, as shown from her ability to bring a swift defeat to the enraged, hollow-possessed Hei. She is shown to be a very perceptive woman, unnaturally able to see through Hei's own guises and holding the perceptive capacity to see through his ploys. As such, it is quite difficult to fool her.
Hohō Master
Even while her Ginjōtan on, Yuki's speed is still on par with a Shunpo Expert's. When it is taken off, however, her Shunpo allows for solid disappearances and reappearances rather than fading in and out of sight. Considered to be the most proficient Hohō master ever in all of the Soul Society, Yuki is highly skilled in the use of Shunpo, a high speed movement ability. Recently, she obtained the title Shunshin (瞬神, Goddess of Flash), because she has mastered this ability to such an extent that she can appear to be in several places at once and wipe out an entire Onmitsukidō squadron in seconds. She can easily close tremendous gaps of distance in the blink of an eye while remaining undetected, as shown from her ability to surprise Nu, who is one of the most proficient in the art as well.
Mueishō (無影翔, Shadowless Flight)
A plateu of Hohō that only Yuki has yet to achieve, it allows her to solidly appear and disappear when using Shunpo, rather than fading in and out of sight like is customary with other Shinigami.

Trivia:
Hakase (博士) can be loosely interpreted as "doctoral samurai" or rather, "a samurai who specializes as a doctor" after the individual Kanji are taken apart and translated. This alludes to Yuki's specialization as a doctor and her status as a swords-woman.
Hakase (博士) as a whole can be read as Expert, Learned Person, Doctorate, Dr (as a title) and PhD, all of which are alluded to by her overall mastery of her skills.
