Link to Quest Thread: here
Name: )Olwen Bendis
Nickname: Oli
Age: 19
Birthday: December 12
Sign: Sagittarius
Gemstone: Turquoise/Blue Zircon/Tanzenite... depends where you look.
Blood Type: A
Fav. Food: Blueberry Bagels, Super dark coffee with cream, sugar and cinnamon
Hated Food: Latte's, Espressos.... what up with this ridiculous trend toward "Snob Coffee"? REALLY people!
School: Sovereign Heights Preparatory School
Hobbies: -Knitting: Hobby for Old Ladies? Oli sure doesn't think so. She's a recent knitter and still struggling with some of the more complex stitches, not to mention anything with a complex count, but she's bound and determined she'll be knitting lace within the year, so she can do that lace shawl with the dragon pattern. She's no believer in sweater vests, but she loves big, bulky sweaters knit in wild, hand dyes and hand spun yarns just as much as ultra complex and delicate shawls, ans owns a copy of 'Naughty Knits', just for the knitted straight jacket.
Roleplaying: Sorry Castor... not THAT kind. Oli is a geek, and she loves to get involved with her favorite systems, though she'd rather do it in person than online. Her favorite emphasis is also on story, not on combat, although like her view on keeping the peace, combat does factor into the game. It just has to be more than go here-kill monster-get treasure. Who after all is supposed to believe that a giant scorpion could survive in a tomb unopened for a thousand years, and that it would be carrying a bunch of treasure. Where? In it's dental work? She games with a group of other students that she's known for a while, so it's a group she knows well and is comfortable with.
Dune: Oli, like several members of the group, is a notable fan of Frank Herbert. She worships at the shrine of Frank Herbert, and her dream man is Duncan Idaho. She'd settle for one of his gholas though ((Clones for those who aren't familiar with the setting.)) If she had her way about it, "Fremmen" and "Bene Gesserit" would be career options, and she's been known to mutter the Bene Gesserit litany against pain for flu shots and dental work. Any port in a storm since she hates both. Those members of the group who haven't read the series, or at least the original books, are learning more about it than they probably ever wanted to from discussions between those that have.
Virtues: -Passionate: In spite of her Shy flaw, Oli is actually a young woman who believes what she believes with a passion. She believes in the intrinsic good in people, though she sometimes contradicts this by grouching to close friends about how much people can also suck. She's also a big believer in fighting to protect people, and has a great deal of respect for anyone who wants to stand up and protect the ones they love. Ghandi, in her mind, had a very nice idea, but she doesn't see it working in the world today.
-Creative Thinker: Oli is the girl who figures out the weird angle to solve the puzzle... the way it probably wasn't supposed to be solved. In game and out, her solutions sometimes cause some interesting collateral damage, like using the wind shield scraper to break the ice on the driveway so people wouldn't fall when the salt ran out. Sadly at the expense of the scraper.
Flaws: -Self Doubt: Given time to think about almost anything, Oli tends to crawl into a pit of self doubt and become unsure of weather or not she can actually do the task at hand. Although she can accomplish quite a lot if she just forges ahead without stopping for this kind of contemplation, this likewise has problems, since she might miss something important, or just as difficult for her, find herself wondering afterward if maybe she should have done something different. She should have shouldn't she? Oh damn she's sure she screwed up.
-Shy: Oli wasn't the popular girl growing up, she's still getting used to the idea that it's OK to stand out a little, and that outside of the savage world of early school, being a little different isn't a criminal offense. As a result, she's an strange mixed bag with her wild hair and pierced nose, and a tendency to shrink into the corner of the party and talk to old friends exclusively.
Impulsive: The easiest way Oli has found to overcome her tendency to over think things is to just outright do it, no thinking required, and sometimes, especially if she's particularly riled up, this is exactly what she does, including saying whatever is on her mind when she's angry. This tendency can lead to later regret, and sometimes a lot of apologies, and she's still struggling to find a healthy balance between these two behaviors.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Dark, rich purple
Hair: White, in a short pixie cut with a single slightly longer braid just behind her ear. ((Her token nod to Star Wars)), She often dies pink or purple streaks into her bangs.
Face: A strange mix of delicate smooth cheeks, a chin that tapers to a point and a solid, squared off back edge to her jaw makes her look small but sturdy.
Clothes: n/a
Senshi Alias: Sailor Arrakis:
Senshi Element: Drought
Challenge: "Dry up and blow away!"
Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: NAME: Arid Embrace: -Arrakis wraps her arms around herself, or around her opponent (this version is more effective but more dangerous) This attack inflicts unpleasant symptoms of dehydration: at this stage Muscle cramps and headache, and possible 'snowy' vision. Highly unpleasant but stronger opponents can probably fight through this, though cramps may limit some weapon usage or a chase. "Snowy" Vision does not happen without being able to physically contact her opponent. -The effects of this attack linger until the subject can get a drink to rehydrate.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Arid Kiss: Similar to above, Arrakis either blows a kiss, or, more effectively, embraces her victim and kisses them directly. The upgraded effects still include cramps and blurry vision, but also dizziness and may cause the victim to faint entirely. The fainting itself causes no harm if it occurs. ((This perhaps could be decided by a die roll for random chance.)) -The effects of this attack linger until the subject can get a drink to rehydrate.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Passionate Dessication: The only attack which doesn't require touch to work at it's best, Arrakis holds out her arms to her victim as if in supplication, and a blast of dry, parching air washes over both of them. The cone of dry air is dangerous for friend and foe alike, causing extreme dessication of the victim. The victim's heart rate and breathing rate accelerate sharply, and their body temperature becomes dangerously high as moisture is drawn out of them. Vision dims and the victim becomes delirious from lack of moisture. Stacked with other Drought attacks, or previous dehydration, this attack has the potential to be life threatening. Passionate Dessication may only be used once a night.
Water attacks in it's path may become briefly disabled, though water wielding senshi may themselves be protected from an accidental strike simply because of their attack being disabled for a heartbeat or two.
Effects on Arrakis Herself: Arrakis herself reacts as though she were directly, and not just magically, the source of heat. She is drained physically by the attack, worse depending how long she maintains it (similar to Nerissa's eternal attack), and becomes cold to the touch, suffering related shaking and vulnerability until she can recover body heat.

What Category is This For? Semi-Custom (Upgrade for an existing character) How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? One! Link to Quest Thread: Piper’s Journal Name: Piper Haswell Nickname: Pippy Age: 17 Birthday: March 13th Sign: Pisces Gemstone: Aquamarine Blood Type: AB- Fav. Food: Icecream! Hated Food: Peas, eugh. School: Meadowview Public High School Hobbies: Flute - Piper's first and favorite hobby, of course, is to play the flute. Whenever she can find extra time to whip it out, she'll do so, regardless of who she's around and sometimes with little regard to the situation. If she's not in the middle of class, she's probably going to find time to play. She lives and breathes for the sound of music, pouring her heart and soul into her performance. She began lessons as a young child and took to them instantly, spurred onward by the harmonic melodies she was soon immersed in. Despite her natural talent and extraordinary gift with the flute, she is utterly useless at any other musical instrument, despite the attempts her parents often made to get her to ‘expand’. No other sound quite captures her heart like the sound of her flute, thus she could never quite get herself to commit to other instruments. She only does one thing, but she does it exceptionally well. Gazing - Be it at clouds, stars, people, or absolutely nothing, Piper likes to just stare off and ponder the meaning of life. Okay, maybe not the meaning of life, but she's thinking about something. We hope. Virtues: Whimsical – Piper has an almost child-like nature, although it’s not surprising with her head full of daydreams and fantasy. She enjoys being unpredictable and doing things without a plan. She is full of a life and charm that she tries to capture others with and is never happier than when someone agrees to one of her fanciful ideas. If her day consists of nothing more than dancing in the rain or making paper snowflakes, nothing else could be more perfect. She is great for cheering others up, mostly because it never seems like anything gets her down. Imaginative – With her head always in the clouds, her imagination is always running wild and her mind is always working in some way. Although at times she may appear empty-headed, she can surprise others on some occasions by offering imaginative solutions to problems. She looks at things from an entirely different perspective than the average person, approaching problems from a different angle. Although her ideas may not always work or be a perfect solution, they may give that extra push that others need to find a real solution. Kind – Piper never seems to see flaws in others, and as such, she treats everyone the same. She doesn’t appear to have a mean bone in her body and would certainly never say something that she thought was intentionally cruel. She may be too blunt betimes due to her inability to distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate topics of conversation, but she is typically unbearably sweet. Flaws: Head in the clouds – Piper is a daydreamer with a terribly short attention span. When it comes to anything but her music, she often zones out. She can sit for hours staring at clouds (or even the ceiling) with no idea of what’s going on around her. She zones out in group conversation, completely loses focus in class, and has a bad habit of wandering off in the middle of something if she finds something else suitably distracting. This often means she has to have a tutor for nearly every class (barring music) to help her make up for lost time. Socially Awkward – Piper is not exactly the best people-person. It’s not that she’s mean, or even rude, but more that she has an odd sense of propriety concerning others. She asks personal questions without a thought as to why it would be inappropriate. She has no sense of personal space and won’t think twice about reaching out to stroke someone’s hair uninvited or hug someone she only just met. It’s also not uncommon for her to randomly speak her thoughts aloud to others, some of which are not always greatly appreciated. Despite the fact that she is so awkward, she seems to have absolutely no idea that others view her this way, and thus she has never really had any motivation to try and be more ‘normal’. Naïve – Unsurprisingly, with her lack of understanding others and social situations in general, Piper also has a bad habit of not being able to read the most basic body language or understand hidden meanings. She trusts everyone and everything and probably wouldn’t think a man with a knife was any more dangerous than the puppy standing next to him. It takes something very shocking to change her view of others, and her world otherwise seems to be primarily composed of rainbows and sunshine. Irresponsible – It can be blamed on her whimsical nature, or her short attention span, but she acts extremely irresponsible a vast majority of the time. She often forgets assignments or chores and rarely takes responsibility for her actions. It’s not because she sees herself as in the right, or incapable of making mistakes, she simply often chooses to brush the subject away with a smile or a pretty song as she’s not one to really comprehend lectures. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION (Piper already has a civ so I don’t think this really matters.) Eyes: Big and blue Hair: Short, blue, bob-like Face: Heart-shaped Clothes: N/A Senshi Alias: Sailor Tyche Senshi Element: Luck Challenge: Your luck has run out! Attacks: Sailor Scout Attack: Luck of the Die For her attack, Sailor Tyche summons a single die that is essentially representative of her power. The die is six-sided with symbols carved onto each one, all representing a different outcome. There is an even balance of good outcomes to bad outcomes and when the power is used, a six-sided die will be rolled with the post to determine the result. The faces represent the following: 1. Evasion Boost 2. Accuracy Boost 3. Power Boost 4. Evasion Decrease 5. Accuracy Decrease 6. Power Decrease Tyche’s power never fails to hit her target, but she has to make a decision before she throws it as to who she actually wants to use it on. If she chooses an ally, she still has the possibility of rolling a bad luck outcome. If she chooses an enemy, she could likewise give them a good luck boost. It’s just the luck of the draw. Once the power is used, the status effect lasts until the target powers down. It is not a rechargeable attack so it may only be used once per battle. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Luck of the Dice Tyche has the power to summon two dice instead of one. This means she can choose to boost or cripple two people (or do one of each). All limitations still apply. Eternal Sailor Attack: Change of Luck Tyche has the power to change the odds of a battle. For it to work, it requires extremely bad luck or extremely good luck to already be present. For example: If an enemy is beating up an ally and said ally seems to have no way out, Tyche can flip the situation around. Her ally will get a boost in all the areas her Luck of the Dice involves and her enemy will get a crippling in all areas that her Luck of the Dice involves. If said ally is on even grounds or even besting her enemy, the power doesn’t work. Inspiration Images: Civ Piper (Her hair doesn’t have to be exactly like this. The same color preferably, but it can have a style change.) Goddess Tyche StatueOtherwise, a general Google search of the goddess Tyche/lucky items is pretty inspiring, imo!

What Category is This For? Semi-Custom How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? One! (Ignacio Araya will be upgraded whenever Natsube can get to my template, but that might be quite a while from what I've been told.) (**Edited with rule clarification) Link to Quest Thread: Sailor Tesla's Accepted Quest Name: Zane Faulkner Nicknames: He refuses to go by anything but 'Zane.' However, various names he's picked up over the years include such things as Shorty and Nerdface. Age: Seventeen Birthday: September 13th (1993) Sign: Virgo "I Analyze": -- Virgos are serious, introverted, and are actively in the pursuit of more knowledge. They analyze everything put in front of them, from research to social experiences. Gemstone: Sapphire Blood Type: AB Typical Positive Traits: Cool, controlled (when not in social situations, anyway), rationalTypical Negative Traits: Critical, indecisive, unforgivingFavorite Food: Honestly? The kid loves Brussel Sprouts, and isn't afraid to show it for one minute. It's earned him some very odd looks, but when Brussel Sprouts are on the menu, he'll pay for fourths. Hated Food: Apples, really. As a child, Zane claimed to be afraid of apples because their shape reminded him of clowns--kids and their odd associations--but while Zane is no longer afraid of clowns, he still can't seem to stand apples. School: Azure Valley Academy: Zane originally attended Meadowview High School at his parents' insistance, but he never liked the place. The people there were lazy, in his eyes, and tended to be what he thought was wrong. So he decided to aim higher. At the end of his freshman year in Meadowview Academy, he turned around to his parents and insisted that he was switching schools if it was the last thing he ever managed to do in high school. Once he got an idea in his head there was no changing his mind, so his parents gave up and let him go for it. So he put in his application with all of his glowing mathematical scores and took an entrance exam so he could become a transfer study to Azure Valley Academy. The letter he got back told him that he was successful, and ever since then he goes to Azure Valley's boarding school, now in his last year. He decided to stay on campus away from home so he could devote more time to his studies of computers without the disturbance of his unfocused neighbors or those who wanted to "hang out with him still" from Meadowview. Hobbies: Computer Programming -- It takes a specific type of person to find such a high enjoyment out of programming. Zane, in his free time, will make a point to write random programs just because he can. He loves how logical and straight-forward computers are. Everything about them makes perfect sense to him, and where other people would miss facts such as strings cannot implicitly become integers, he understands it on first glance and doesn't see why anyone would even consider missing such an obvious thing. He's currently attempting to make a game out of what he has concluded is most fun to play according to research he has done (mostly out of observation at the arcade, admittedly). Video Games -- He isn't so much one who plays video games for entertainment as one who actually bothers to listen to the commentary that come with some video games. He wants to find out how they were made and what on the inside makes them tick. Zane loves discovering strategies and hidden easter eggs throughout careful observation of every corner of every map, and admittedly, such careful combing has actually made him very good at basic game play. The man can spend hours at a time on one mission, recombing over and over until he has learned every corner and every enemy force, and only find enjoyment in what more casual players would call completely boring. Synthesizer -- Zane doesn't spend all of his time buried in glowing LCD screens. He also enjoys playing instruments, if one considers a synthesizer an instrument. He knows how to create the odd electronic sounds in many of today's music, and makes a hobby out of doing it all the time. It's a simple pleasure of his in his eyes, but hey, everyone's allowed to have their guilty pleasure, right? ...Of course, synthesizers are an awfully odd guilty pleasure, but he'll never actively acknowledge that. Rearranging the Room -- Perhaps the only consistant thing he does not usually involving electronics, Zane has a tendency of walking into a room and deciding he no longer likes the way it appears. A hobby usually attributed to house designers and obsessive-compulsive people, Zane insists on changing the way his room looks almost weekly, deciding that it simply doesn't look right anymore and must be changed. He actually seems to enjoy rearranging his room, though, and can usually be found smiling and humming while shoving his bed to the other side of his room. Virtues: Focused -- When Zane wants to get something done, he'll get it done. The man has concentration like no other, probably developed from hours and hours of pouring over the same mission in a video game until he gets it right, or tweaking a program over and over until it runs the way he wants it to. His concentration is hard to break, and he'll keep his mind from wandering until he gets something done well.Logical -- Zane is very mechanical, almost to the extent of it being a fault. He sees solutions and logic in even the things that would seem the most random, able to place things in sequence and rationalize even emotional responses to the point of it being a science. He's very good at seeing every step of a process, and finds himself most interested in how things are made and how they get to the finished point, not in the finished product itself. Loyal -- Despite being hard to talk to and even harder to get to know, Zane's friends are friends for life. He'll never turn his back on those who trust him and those who he trusts, always there whether they need back up or just a shoulder to lean on (though this is Zane, so that's about as much emotional support as someone's going to get from him). Zane's the friend anyone would want; the kind that's always there through the thick and thin. Independent -- While cripplingly anti-social, Zane has learned ways to adjust and deal without people. (Only further encouraging him to stay away from people, unfortunately.) Mostly keeping to himself has taught him how to fend for himself without having to depend on others support or help, and he manages spectacularly well when left to his own devices. He also doesn't need other people to define him, and he doesn't feel any particular need to belong to any particular social circle, instead more inclined to shed interaction entirely and work towards his own personal goals without the help of anyone. ...Of course, this streak of independence borders on being a massive flaw (See Anti-Social). Flaws: Anti-Social -- Zane is downright hard to talk to. He runs away from any sort of interaction, preferring to stay in his corner with his laptop and plenty of video games. When he is forced to work with others, he starts sweating nervously and eventually will attempt to run away anyway despite any order he may have been given. He prefers to work alone and be alone, because social interaction only makes him sputter and sweat. This is actually also a weakness considering his circumstances. As is, as a senshi, he is completely support-based. His attacks do very little damage overall, mostly temporarily disabling weapons if they manage to do that. He will run away immediately at even the idea of team work, will insist on fighting even the hardest enemies completely and utterly alone (even if he does get his a** handed to him, it's better than being around people!!), and depending on his current mood, may even run away from battles because he doesn't feel like socializing even in a negative way. Inability to Sympathize -- A combination of logical and anti-social behavior combined to make Zane a horrible man to come to when it comes to any even slightly sad story. While Zane will offer his shoulder (albeit awkwardly) for a crying friend, asking him for any sort of advice or opinion will only gain either a horrified look accompanied with running, or for close friends, an odd glance and some abstract statement dealing with the 'logical' reason for why his friend is suffering so. Stubborn as a Mule -- The man is unshakable. While this in some respects is a good thing, it means he won't change his mind on anything even when he's drastically wrong. Zane cannot be convinced of anything, continuously insistant that he is always right and, perhaps, can do no wrong. This has been known to get him in trouble in the past, but he never seems to learn from it, either. Unforgiving -- Zane is trustworthy, but he expects the same dedication from any friend he may obtain. One wrong step or word gets someone in an eternally large dog house, in some respects. He never forgives and holds grudges like no other, and he'll also be terribly passive-aggressive about it; while completely nice on the surface, all of his words will be tainted with a sarcastic smirk and fiery anger. "The world is functional and our relationship is within normal parameters," is usually a passive-aggressive, snarky way Zane informs someone that he is indeed forever angry with them, and he's not going to be direct with it either. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Perhaps the only stunning thing about an otherwise uninteresting (albeit short) man, Zane's almond-shaped eyes are a piercing shade of crimson (hex code: #DC143C). It's admittedly an odd feature and has always stood out since he doesn't appear to have low melanin by any means; his hair is as dark as night and his olive skin is just that, olive. Hair: Zane's black hair isn't terribly fancy. It's thin-layered and is a little coarse, kept back in a simple rat tail trailing down to about his mid-back. The hair that isn't kept in the rat tail is cut extremely close to his head, so close that even combing it might as well be futile. His hair mostly takes care of itself, besides for the rat tail, which he keeps very careful care of for reasons unexplainable. Face: Zane's face isn't all that fancy. Rounded, thin eyebrows, a small nose, and thin lips are his defining characteristics, with nothing in particular sticking out except for his eyes themselves. His head is rounded, and while it isn't a particularly 'masculine' face shape, Zane does not appear feminine by any means. If anything, like the rest of him... he seems rather neutral and unimportant. ============== Senshi Addendum ============== Senshi Alias: Tesla Senshi Element: Sprites (Sprites are high-altitude electrical discharges that have mostly recently been known to mess up machinery. They'll usually found above all major thunderstorms, and are accompanied by 'sprite halos' seconds beforehand.) Challenge: "In the name of Tesla, I will stop your machinations!" Attacks: These are your senshi's abilities, which will be used in battle. These abilities correspond to your senshi's element. Think of it as a "summary" of what your senshi can do in one word. Sailor Scout Attack: "Sprite Glitch!" : Tesla pushes his left hand forward and shouts this as a bolt of red bursts out of his hand and to any equipment his enemy may be holding. This will temporarily cause the equipment to seem to have a mind of its own, twitching and briefly rendering it uncontrollable long enough for Tesla to find some place to hide. ( Temporary Duration: This uncontrollability approximately twenty seconds. Dodgable: While the bolt moves quickly, if the enemy has quick reflexes it is possible to move their weapon out of the way.) Super Sailor Scout Attack: "Sprite Glitch Death!" : Just a minor upgrade from Tesla's previous ability. While the red electric bolt still renders the weapon spastic and unusable, it now also briefly electrically charges, sending painful electric shocks to whatever happens to be holding it. ( Temporary Duration: This lasts for approximately twenty-five seconds. Dodgable: Again, if his enemy happens to be fast enough, they can move their weapon out of the way of this. Of course, they'll have to be careful... these bolts can hurt.) Eternal Sailor Scout Attack: "Machine Beserk!" : Tesla becomes surrounded by a red sparking halo that fades as he thrusts his left hand forward, hand becoming surrounding by red sparks which burst forward towards any equipment or machinery he is focusing his attentions on. The equipment will be lit up in blue and spark. The sparks hurt to the touch and can leave one briefly numb, but the main effects from this attack are on the machinery. Technological and electronic machinery will spark and short out completely, while other equipment will spaz out in ways similar to 'Sprite Glitch,' including the possibility of swinging at their bearer. ( Temporary Duration: This lasts for a minute to two minutes at max strength, depending on how much energy Tesla draws from himself. Obviously, the more energy, the more draining this is. Blockable: Anything with a resistance to electricity will be able to at least partially resist the effects.) How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? 1 - Senshi
Link to Quest Thread: N/A
Name: Chase Samuel Black
Nickname: Ace
Age: 18
Birthday: March 23rd
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Rose quartz
Blood Type: O+
Fav. Food: Seafood
Hated Food: Anything Bitter
School: Azure Valley Academy
Hobbies:
Golfing - Golfing is in fact Chase’s favorite activity, he’ll play anytime and anywhere. One of his favorite things to do is to create abstract golf courses, especially on the way home. Often times his courses tread into property that is probably not a place he should go, such as areas under construction or private property but it's the thrill of being caught and yelled at that makes it so enjoyable to him.
Playing Games - Chase is a gaming master, or so he thinks. His specialty is card games but he likes to think he's good at all kinds. Sports, besides golfing, are the exception to his 'masterness', he likes to think that he's decent at them but they definitely aren't something he the best at. Card games, board games and video games however are what he excels at. He’s very confident in his skills and prides himself on always winning. There is hardly a time when he loses because he will do whatever ever it takes to always come out on top even if it ultimately hurts him in the end.
Pulling Pranks - Due to his rather, er, mischievous nature Chase often finds himself to play pranks on his friends, unsuspecting passerby's or even teachers or other adult in positions of authority. Occasionally he'll do simple prank like rigging a bucket of a water to fall upon whomever opens the door or put itching powder on classmates clothing when they in gym. Lately he's been going rather dangerous pranks such as rigging things to explode, not bomb-type explosions though where everything around you blows up in a big fire or whatever. It's more like a smoke bomb type of effect where when the loud 'pop' or 'boom' sounds the place is filled with smoke, allowing for quick getaway, shocked expressions and confusion. He has to be much more careful with these because if he gets caught he's almost guaranteed to not only face the principle, parents or angry adults but the police too and having a record with them is never a good thing, especially with all the 'terrorist' attacks going on.
Virtues: Charismatic -- For all the s**t he pulls he's surprisingly very likable. He's like a magnet that just attracts people to him. That is the reason that he tends to get out of trouble more often than he probably should. He's good at getting people riled up, especially if it's a topic that he's passion about. Swaying people to his side is what he does.
Ambitious -- There has never been a better word to describe Chase. This is the reason he finds him cheating more often than he probably needs to, he just has to come out on top. He won't settle for second best, not unless there's a reason for him to lose, or he wants to. The reason for is this is not because his parents are pushing him, or he's in the shadows of a sibling, it because he needs to be the best, he can't settle for second place because if he's always on top then he never has a reason to feel inferior, something he isn't sure he could handle. If he isn't the best at something he will do whatever it takes to be the best even if it means lying, cheating or scheming to do so.
Clever -- Chase is a smart cookie, even if his behavior doesn't show it, and his brains are what allow him to slack off a bit when it comes to school work. He's one of those kids who usually doesn't have to study for a test because he knows the information, and it allows him to BS essays and papers and still get a good grade. He's got a bit of a sharp tongue, insult him and he won't miss a beat insulting you back. It's not just his charisma that helps him get out of the sticky situations he causes, it's his intelligence and how he creates those pretty little stories of his without a second thought. His cleverness also helps him with his many pranks, if he couldn't figure out a way of doing something to optimize hilarity and a quick get away where would all the fun be? Unfortunately his love of procrastination dims how bright he really is.
Flaws: That Lying, Cheating Son of a... -- Chase has a bit of a problem, he simply cannot stand losing at anything for any reason. If you're playing a card game with him you better watch his hands, you never know where he's going to pull that extra card from, his sleeve or under the table. Don't let him deal the cards, he might be fast at it but there's always the chance he's rigging it in his favor. Chase also has a tendency to lie to get what he wants, especially if it helps him win.
Conniving Little b*****d... -- He's one of those boys that gets that tingle in their stomach from doing something they shouldn't be doing, you know the kind of stuff that would get you in some serious trouble if you got caught. He's often found scheming, plotting ways to do things(like trashing a room) and pinning it on someone else as revenge because they ticked him off. Getting caught is only half the fun for him. The other half is putting the blame on someone else and getting away with it.
Disregard for Safety -- He doesn't exactly think before he acts, he mostly focuses upon what kind of reaction he'll get after the event and as a result he often plunges headfirst into one of his schemes and pranks without considering the danger factor of the equation, which proves to be rather problematic especially now that he's playing with explosives. He doesn't exactly think about the aftermath or consequences that might result(like, "Oh hey this might hurt someone" or "lol hope I don't end up in the hospital this week") he only thinks about the way it makes him feel, or how fun it is. To him it's like getting high without the drug. He's constantly seeking a thrill and that often leaves him not caring about safety concerns or mental health. He doesn't really care what'll happen to the unsuspecting victim nor what'll happen to him as long as he doesn't break anything or die. Unfortunately his dangerous, and sometimes stupid behavior, has landed him more than just a couple of scratches or bruises. He's ended up with a sprained ankle, broken arm, and a dislocated shoulder once. Whoops.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
He stands at approximately 5'10 and is rather lanky. He's slightly tanned from spending a lot of time outdoors.
Hair: He's got black hair that's cut rather short often spiked up in the middle, much like a fohawk with a pink stripe going down the middle.
Eyes: Gold and mischievous
Face: He's kinda got a longer than average face with a defined jawline and a slightly squared chin.
Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant Labyrinthite
Challenge: "With this Ace, your defeat is imminent
Lieutenant Weapon: Lawn Flamingo
Captain Weapon: Flamingo Golf Club (Loosely think of Alice In Wonderland) With the Beak becoming a blade, also metallic.
General Weapon: The golf-club's become more staff-like and the beak blade is longer, making it scythe-like. If possible he'd be able to summon golfballs to hit at people

What Category is This For? Semi-custom How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? 1 Link to Quest Thread: linkName: Hayden Lynch Nickname: n/a Age: 17 Birthday: February 9th Sign: Aquarius Gemstone: Garnet Blood Type: AB+ Fav. Food: Sushi Hated Food: Chili peppers School: St Magdalena's Seminary Hobbies: Drama – After participating in a school play when she was in fifth grade, Hayden’s been engrossed with theater and drama ever since. Over the years she’s tried her hand at a variety of the roles involved in creating a production. She’s been a techie. She’s helped with designing. She’s helped with set construction. However, Hayden finally settled on acting. She finds it easy to slip into the shoes of different characters. People have also noted her ability to improvise. Hayden involves herself in most drama-related events, but devotes most of herself into the main stage productions and switches to set construction crew for other events. Magic tricks – When her father had to leave on an extended business trip, a classmate of Hayden’s performed simple magic tricks to cheer her up. She’s been interested ever since. It’s always fun to see the awed and/or surprised faces of people whenever she does a trick, and the fact that she knows the secret behind it and they don’t makes it even sweeter. She is well conversed in coin and card magic. She also makes use of her improvising ability, as she makes up her “script” (her instructions/directions to the audience) each time. Biking – When her parents first taught her how to ride a bike she had picked it up quickly, mastering it faster than most children would have. From then on Hayden rode her bike as often as possible. Since her school was nearby, she always took it to school, even in elementary. Even now she uses her bike to go everywhere, screw driving! She bikes to school, to her friends' houses, to the mall, to everywhere! Heck, Hayden has even started learning how to do tricks with her bike, which is so far limited to slides, wheelies, and small jumps. Virtues: A lighthearted fellow – After Hayden discovered her love of magic and making others smile, she’s focused on becoming cheerful and funny in hopes that her light mood may be infectious. She is not joyful to the point of becoming annoying, but has just the right “dose” of mirth, humor, and sense of timing to make people smile without irking others. During class she’ll occasionally crack a joke, but won’t try to get a laugh every second. Her joy is rarely disturbed, even in frustrating or stressful moments, making her a suitable person to keep the mood high or cheer someone up. She’ll do whatever it takes to make others smile, whether it is through witty remarks, exaggerated movements, pranks, or making a fool of her self. Hayden is not afraid to be a joker when the situation calls for it. I’m so clever – Admittedly, Hayden’s grades aren’t very high, hovering around a C-average. However, her grades belie her intellect, she is quite clever and witty when she feels like it. Begin a pun war with Hayden and one will never see the end of it. Attempt to humiliate her with a prank or trick question and her keen eyes and quick reactions will make quick work of it to turn the trick against the creator. When pressed for an invention or reason, Hayden is able to conjure what is needed. She works best when there is little time or pressured to do something. If given more time she will be less inclined to do something about it. I’m up for that – When asked to perform small favors, Hayden is always willing to do so, partly because she wants to and partly because she wants to get on their good side. People can ask her to carry something for them or come over to a place for a school fundraiser; they’ll be sure to get an enthusiastic ‘yes’ from her. So long as the task sounds like fun she will do it, from climbing high buildings to eating gross foods. Certain things she will absolutely not do are academic-related favors. Things that sound boring may be accepted if she has the time and feels like it. As long as Hayden has an opportunity to interact with others, she is fine with helping with nearly anything people suggest to her. Flaws: Me? Get serious? – Though Hayden knows when to not crack jokes and start to get serious, that doesn’t necessarily mean she does get serious. If she is given class time to do work she will gladly spend that time speaking with others and goofing off instead. When doing a project she does minimum work and spends little time on it, which reflects in her barely-average grades. If Hayden participates in a conversation dealing with a serious topic, she’ll fail to understand why everyone is so worried and try to lighten the atmosphere, usually doing the opposite in the end. Even if Hayden willingly offers help she does not often take it seriously and treats it as a task as simple as opening the door for someone – it requires little effort. This often results in bare minimum/average work that could certainly be better. The only times she becomes serious or determined is when it involves something she really enjoys doing or is a life-or-death situation. Procrastinator to the max – Hayden is able to improvise without making it too obvious, and she knows it. She makes use of this ability of hers so that she can procrastinate on her work whenever possible. Homework is done at the last minute, but her quick hands manage to make the writing legible and not a scrawl so as not to create suspicion. When needing to give a presentation, Hayden walks in unrehearsed and knowing the gist of what she wants to say. Whenever she walks into a situation that requires preparation or would be better to prepare, she always strides in with little studying or training. In the present not the future – Hayden is always constantly inviting herself to various parties or events, helping others, and doing whatever she pleases at the drop of a dime. If she happens to feel like doing something, she’ll do it without a second thought. She may have a quick thought process, but that doesn’t mean she’s more likely to pause and go “Oh, maybe that’s not a good idea”. Actually, in Hayden’s case, more thoughts lead to more bad decisions. If she wants to solve a problem, she dives right in without much consideration towards how she’ll actually fix things. Without taking the long-term effects into account, Hayden acts and does however she pleases, often coming off as impulsive or brash. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Hayden has medium, almond-shaped eyes that are usually mischievously narrowed. They’re a light shade of mint green. Hair: Recently, she's cut her black hair to a length halfway between her shoulders and elbows, but ties it up in a ponytail to keep it out of her way. Hayden has square-ish bangs that cover most of her forehead as well as side bangs that frame her face. She also likes to wear a green headband and braid a couple tiny strands of her hair. Something a bit like 158, but may be changed as artist sees fit. Face: She has a small, heart-shaped face. Hayden has a light pale complexion that sunburns easily. Clothes: n/a Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant FukaliteChallenge: I'm gonna screw you up! Lieutenant Weapon: Fire sparkler A thin stick that emits bright orange sparks. Amazingly enough it can last for quite a while. It doesn't do much damage, but may cause minor fires depending on what materials the sparks catch on. If doused in water it can be put out; it's difficult to relight it afterwards. Captain Weapon: Fire sparkler v. 2 It is now able to withstand small water attacks and emits sparks that can more easily burn and create fire. If Fukalite quickly motions with her sparkler it can emit a long stream of sparks that lasts for up to five to ten seconds before dying out. General Weapon: Fire sparkler v.3 Her fire sparkler becomes longer, stretching out to the size of a baton. Along with its previous functions, it can now emit sparks on both ends and shoot out weak bursts of sparks from a certain distance. At most it will travel as far as a yard and a half. What Category is This For? Semi-custom How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? 1 Link to Quest Thread: linkName: Darren Hopkins Nickname: n/a Age: 17 Birthday: February 20th Sign: Pisces Gemstone: Jade Blood Type: B Fav. Food: Pretty much everything Hated Food: Darren does not compute School: Hillworth Grammar School Hobbies: Snacking – There’s a bag of chips in his desk? Darren doesn’t know what you’re talking about. He snacks anywhere and anytime, anything and everything. It’s rare to find the boy not eating something; fortunately he has a fast metabolism. Although most of his snacking comprises of various junk foods (chips, twinkies, candy, it never ends!) Darren will eat healthier snacks like fruits or vegetables. He’ll pretty much eat anything, even food that drops on the floor it’s not disgusting okay? One can even see him around town at various restaurants or stores trying out different dishes and snacks. Woodshop – Because there’s nothing like having sharp, dangerous tools in one’s hands. He loves the smell of wood, which somehow keeps him wide awake. Darren takes a woodshop class at school, but also often visits his grandfather, who has a woodshop of his own, during the weekends or school vacations. He’s done all kinds of projects that’ve ranged to bowls, clocks, wood burnings, etc. His favorite project is making pens because it can easily be made in different kinds of woods or even corian. His favorite wood is rainbow wood. Guitar – One of the few after-school activities that his parents signed him up for as a child and the only class he’s stuck with the entire time. At first he hated mindlessly going through the basic exercises and his parents decided that if he wanted to quit once he graduated from middle school, he could. However, when the time came, Darren decided to continue. Now that he can play more difficult songs and compose on his own, he’s quickly realized that he does enjoy playing guitar, even singing while he plays. Sleeping – He likes to sleep anywhere and everywhere comfortable. The end. Virtues: Actor's mask – Darren knows how to act and doesn’t hesitate to make use of it. He may be angry at someone or be unwilling to do something, but will act as if it doesn’t bother him at all. Over the years he’s learned how to hide his negative emotions in favor of appearing innocent and sleepy. Darren is able to appear nice and amiable, albeit drowsy, when he actually isn’t so sweet and kind. If necessary, he can also act completely different from himself, such as acting like a polite, smart boy in front of his mother’s friends to someone quiet yet intimidating when his friends are hurt. I’m listening – If one could rouse him from his constant naps and snacking, they’ll be surprised to discover that Darren is a good listener. Although staring at his sleepy face may be disconcerting and give off the impression that he’s not paying attention, if one asks for his opinion or to recap what they just said, he’ll answer with accuracy and relevancy. Whether it’s a lecture or someone spilling their troubles to him, he will seriously listen and focus on the speaker(s). His ears are always open, even when not spoken to. Darren likes to catch snippets of various conversations, the things he hears can be quite useful in the future (or just plain amusing). Willing and flexible – When there’s a sudden change in plans, he’s quite flexible and easygoing about it. His sister suddenly wants him to go shopping with her? Hm, fine. The arcade’s closed so we’re going to the park instead? Aw, okay then. He needs to finish the school project by himself because your mom’s in the hospital? Can’t be helped. Darren accepts and adapts to the new circumstances he is placed in, ranging from new people in his life to accidents to sudden whims. Low ergic tension – He has a low-tension personality, which is characterized by patience, being relaxed, and placid. Darren’s the type of person that does not easily get stressed and can keep his cool even in a dire situation. He isn’t someone that easily becomes excited and gets others excited. Rather, he’s the opposite. He’s able to soothe and calm others with his soft voice and relaxed aura. Flaws: Sleepy and aloof face – Acting innocent and sleepy can be useful in getting what Darren wants, but also gives off the impression that he’s aloof and lazy. Unless someone knows him well, they tend to perceive him to be as a boy that prefers to eat and sleep, and do nothing else. The result is that they look down on him and tend to leave him behind. Even when they speak to him, people can be put off by how he appears to be uncaring and not paying attention even though it’s the opposite. I won’t bother you – After constantly attempting to butt into someone’s problems and being shot down or making it worse, Darren’s figured that it’s best not to pry into someone’s business unless they’re blatantly asking for it or if it’s dire. He’s also come to believe that people should deal with their problems on their own, and if they happen to ask for help, so be it. If he’s asked to interfere or help with something he’ll probably do it, but otherwise he’s not going to involve himself with someone’s problems. If they look troubled, he may ask them, but if they refuse to say anything he won’t do anything else. Darren’s not going to go around and try to help everyone in need; he has his own things to deal with too. I’ll do it for a price – Darren’s a pretty willing boy. He’s up to doing most favors when asked—for a price. Helping with homework? Sure, but there’s going to be a catch (however small the fee may be). Darren’s always willing to do small errands or favors for others, but always expects some sort of payment in return, whether that be a favor he can use at any time or some materialistic reward. Other, unpleasant favors are also doable, though with some reluctance. Cheating? Gathering information? Hurting someone? The price will be high, but he’ll do it. Darren’s not going to do something “nice” unless he’ll get something out of it. Am I supposed to care? – Because no, Darren doesn’t particularly care about whether your boyfriend dumped you or how you need to get an A on this project or it’s all over. Sure, he’ll listen to his problems, but that’s only because he’s being “nice”, and perhaps by some twist of fate something interesting will come out of it. He won’t hesitate to be blunt and to hurt others, either physically, mentally, or emotionally. Although there are exceptions (notably, and so far only his sister and grandfather), it’s not easy to establish a loving relationship with him. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: His eyes are almond-shaped and slightly narrowed, naturally slanted so that he looks slightly sleepy. They’re a dark, murky shade of green. Sometimes he wears contacts, but usually wears black frame glassesHair: Slate blue at the top and quickly fades into muted purple; somewhat short, emo-ish in style Face: A heart with round edges, giving him a soft, young look. Clothes: n/a Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant CobaltChallenge: Your destiny ends here Lieutenant Weapon: Fork Simply put, a metallic fork. Rather good for stabbing and poking, though. Captain Weapon: Trident It's almost like a giant fork! Except not so. It has a rather plain appearance and is still perfect for stabbing and poking, but can now be done at greater distances and even thrown like a spear. Yay! General Weapon: Elaborate Trident It's more elaborate in appearance, but can do the same attacks as before. However, it has now been imbued with magic to create minor hallucinations. What Category is This For? Semi-custom Nega! How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? One! Link to Quest Thread: Here!Name: Gemma Kit Hudson Nickname: Some people mispronounce her name with a hard G - does that count? Age: 15 Birthday: August 10th Sign: Leo Gemstone: Peridot Blood Type: B- Fav. Food: Marshmallows, squid, bubble-tea. She's a texture person and really loves anything chewy. Hated Food: Raw bell peppers, berries with tiny seeds, asparagus, okra. (Okra especially. It's like someone combined bell peppers and asparagus into one!) School: St. Magdalena's (Her file cites shoplifting, poor grades, and suspected but unconfirmed narcotics abuse. She's not actually on drugs, just naturally dopey.) Hobbies: Clap your hands if you believe in fairies- Gemma believes in the supernatural and refuses to hear it any other way. She is deeply spiritual and superstitious, a lover of folklore, and quick to put faith in ideas with little to no supporting evidence. Also, Gemma daydreams so much that it's a pastime. She can be constantly found staring out the window or just zoning out, imagining fantastic journeys to far away lands and just sort of being a space case. I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk- Gemma is a horrible insomniac who wanders all over campus/all over the city in the middle of the night. She'll go for days at a time without sleeping, and then drift off in the middle of class and totally miss the lesson. Combined with her tendency to daydream, Gemma usually imagines she's off in another world during these episodes. She is frequently fully absorbed in her fantasy and therefore irrational when caught, and her room locks from the outside. It's not stealing - it's borrowing with no intention of returning it- Gemma's a compulsive kleptomaniac and almost anything she picks up to fiddle with will eventually find its way into her pockets. Pens, paperclips, trinkets, small toys, jewelry - if it catches Gemma's eye, it'll probably be gone before you realize she's noticed it. When confronted about her behavior, Gemma is reluctant to return stolen objects, claiming that she felt drawn to them and there must have been a reason for why she picked them up. I don't think softball's a boring sport- Gemma plays left fielder for the St. Magdalena's Intramural softball team, and she's more likely to be caught cloud-watching than catching balls. She's a mean hitter, though, even if she is likely to get lost somewhere between second and third base. She can also double as a pitcher in a pinch, but sometimes forgets that softball throws are underhanded. Virtues: Creative- Gemma excels at thinking outside the box and coming up with unorthodox solutions to everyday conundrums. Her way of washing dishes might not be the most practical, but it is a lot of fun to watch. And she was definitely that one girl who decided that strapping washcloths to her feet was a fun and easy alternative to mopping. Her creativity is also expressed in her approach to schoolwork, although her non sequitur additions to her essays and non-traditional approaches to assignments aren't very appreciated by her teachers, like the time she wrote a fifteen-page comic book about Queen Elizabeth I fighting martians to explain the Spanish Armada. Complacent- Gemma doesn't complain. She rolls with the punches and is generally happy to do whatever you tell her to do. If you point Gemma in the right direction and tell her to do something, she'll do it. (Provided she doesn't get distracted or lost along the way.) If you're enthusiastic, Gemma will be enthusiastic, even if she has no idea what's going on, what you're talking about, or even what day of the week it is. Easily amused- All it takes to keep Gemma entertained is an interesting doohickey, a couple blades of grass, or a particularly compelling-looking cloud. She takes pleasure in the small things in life and is seldom bored. The smallest ray of sunshine can brighten her day, and rather than get serious situations get her down, she simply focuses on something happier. So your dog died, you lost your homework, and your ring was stolen? She's awfully sorry for you but look, the cherry blossoms are in bloom and doesn't that just beat all? (She probably stole your ring.) Oblivious- Ignorance is bliss, in which case Gemma is overjoyed. She remains pleasantly unaware of her flaws or what others may think about her. In her fantasy world, she's a magical princess who fights alien terrorists and makes the earth safe for humans like me and you but mostly her. She never worries too hard about anything, even though her grades are just barely passing, her friends are slowly but surely growing tired of her antics, and her guidance counselor thinks she's perpetually stoned. For Gemma, life is just plain groovy. Flaws: Cloudcuckoolander- Gemma's a total space cadet. She's off in her own little world like 80% of the time, usually coming back only long enough to interject that she has no idea what's going on and demand someone explain the last five minutes to her. She also has a tendency to not pay attention to where she's going, resulting in some truly memorable tumbles, falls, and general moments of flailing in panic for the nearest stationary object. People she grabs onto for balance will more often than not wind up on the floor as well. Disorganized- She had it right here! Or was it there? Oh no, she's lost it again. Be it last night's homework or her goldfish, Gemma has only a hazy grasp at best on where all her things are. You told her to bring a black pen, and she's brought red pencils, and her english textbook, because she couldn't find her science journals, and she was up really late last night doing her homework because she couldn't find her laptop in her bedroom clutter until ten PM. She's also in class barefoot because she couldn't find her shoes... This girl would seriously lose her own head if it wasn't attached. Non-empathetic- Gemma doesn't really get people and can be a bit rather callous. She doesn't pay attention to other people's feelings and can say things to unintentionally hurt her friends. She generally doesn't think about other people's emotions when making plans or taking action. She didn't consider that you might have really liked your model horse where it was - it was pretty and she wanted it. This general disregard for the feelings and well-being of other makes her come off as aloof and occasionally dispassionate. Delusional- Gemma can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality. She thinks her nightly outings as Astrophyllite are all just a game, and if you told her that humans landed on the moon in 1969, she'd ask if they found out what kind of cheese it is. Her grasp on cause and effect is hazy at best, particularly when it comes to her own actions, and once she's put faith into a conspiracy theory or mistaken belief, it's very difficult to convince her otherwise. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Enormous, perpetually surprised looking, vividly orange. Hair: Long, falling to about mid-back. Baby-fine and strawberry/pinkish blonde, uncombed and tangled. Face: Slim, pointed chin, button nose. Enormous ears. High cheekbones. Big teeth. Clothes: Uniform! Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant AstrophylliteChallenge: "I don't know, let's ask the spirits!" Lieutenant Weapon: Ouija board! She whacks people over the head with it, mostly. Captain Weapon: As a captain she gets three small crystal scrying balls that she generally just chucks at people, baseball style, or else gets distracted and tries to juggle. The balls return to her hand at a flick of the wrist. General Weapon: At general stage she wields a crystalline morning star, which can be seen as a combination of her earlier two weapons. How Many Powered Characters Do You Own? Zero~
Link to Quest Thread: [x]
Name: Christopher Luke Gallo
Nickname: Chris by his brothers and friends if they feel like it. He responds to either. He'll also respond to Gallo.
Age: 18
Birthday: August 12th
Sign: Leo
Gemstone: Sardonyx
Blood Type: O-
Fav. Food: His mother’s lasagna and coffee ice cream. Not necessarily at the same time.
Hated Food: Eggplant, liver, honey. It's a texture and smell thing!
School: Destiny City University on a baseball scholarship. Go Dragons!
Hobbies:
• Baseball: It’s the only reason he didn't complain when his father got transferred from place to place when he was younger. No matter where Chris has lived, he has always been able to find other children his age to play with. His position of choice is pitcher, followed next by catcher. The control the positions give him is a great relief from his life off the field, especially in terms of dependency. Being in a position that basically places him in charge of how his team's defense holds up does wonders for his ego; probably a little too much, sometimes. He has been known to be a little clingy to the mound, and is never in a good mood when the coach retires or replaces him for the rest of the game. He's a Starter, and would very much prefer to be the Finisher, too, thank you very much.
Christopher got into DCU on a baseball scholarship, having been scouted in high school for his excellent pitching average. Now, more than ever, he is doing everything he can to increase his less than exemplary batting average. After all, his dream is to be drafted into the Major League! But he's realistic enough to have a backup plan.
During the summer, Chris helps out as a junior coach at a local baseball camp. It plays a lot towards his need to feel appreciated and loved, and nothing says "appreciated and loved" more than a bunch of little kids hanging on his every word.
• Animal Shelter Volunteer: As a way to offer themselves for the betterment of the world, Christopher’s father insisted that both he and his older brother work weekends as volunteers at a location of their choice. His older brother chose a non-profit that built houses for the homeless, while Chris chose to walk dogs and clean up after the animals. It might not be as labor intensive as what his older brother does, but it brings him great joy to be around animals. Another reason that Christopher probably shouldn't be volunteering to build homes, even though he is studying to be an architect, is because he'd end up getting frustrated about the layouts and other general nit-picking in dealing with blueprints that are not his own. It's best for everyone that he sticks to the shelter.
His passion for animals comes from growing up with his old dog Eleonora, a Golden Retriever. In fact, part of his own personality has developed from his close bond with the ridiculously loyal dog. Growing up in a household with so many high expectations was hard on a lighthearted child, and having a companion that never wanted anything more than to be loved helped him overcome personal heartaches. When Eleonora had to be put down in her old age, he felt as though part of himself died with her. Even though it happened over five years ago, and they now have a new dog, Annabel Lee, he still does his best to keep Eleonora’s memory alive through his own actions. It might seem lame to others, but she was his life.
Now that he does to DCU, he had the choice of either living at home, in an apartment, or on campus. As much as he loves his mom's cooking, he decided to get an apartment so he could bring Annabel Lee with him. She's his alarm clock, basically, and will curl up at the end of his bed and slobber into his hair and on his face in order to wake him up. Thankfully she's a small enough breed to keep in such a small space. Besides, his little brother is too young to really understand how much attention Anna needs.
• Acoustic Guitar: He got his first real six-string at the Five and Dime received a six-string Martin Dreadnought from his paternal grandfather when he was ten, and with the help of his grandfather and a few of his extended family members, Christopher was able to learn enough to start playing on his own. More often than not, he plays it when he is feeling stressed or when he feels like he's being backed into a corner to make a decision about something. He doesn't mind playing around his friends, and will pull it out when there's nothing else to talk about and have a few rounds of rough karaoke. His own singing voice is pretty good, but he feels too self-conscious to sing outside hymns at church. Sometimes he's bullied into singing with his friends, but would much rather prefer making the music to which others can sing.
Yeah, he's that guy with the guitar and dog in the apartment complex who likes to play at random times. He wouldn't dare play after 11pm, though, because he knows that's when noise restrictions start for the residential area of Destiny City, but he'll play at 10am when he's bored and trying to stay awake until his next class. He laughs at the idea of joining a band or any kind of communal group, but sometimes he'll play and sing at church when the sweet, old lady who is in charge of the choir asks him the week before.
• Legs Man: Chris?? "Saint" Christopher? A perv?? Of course not! But that doesn't mean he doesn't like to look. He has a certain fondness for nice legs and a pretty face. He thinks too much cleavage is distasteful, but he isn't going to complain about short skirts or Daisy Duke's. Sometimes he'll catch himself looking a little too long, but most of the time it's subconscious.
Don’t get him wrong! He doesn’t touch and doesn’t stare obsessively, but Chris can’t help it if he happens to find nice, shapely legs attractive! Sure, he’s been caught staring from time to time, and he’s gotten into trouble for it; getting fussed at for being rude, which he would immediately apologize for. Personally, he doesn’t understand why some women get upset over people staring when they are obviously trying to show off.
How exactly is this a hobby? Well... sometimes he likes to rate legs on a scale of 1 – 10. Okay, most of the time he rates them. But only in his head. It's much too embarrassing to joke about with friends 'cause then he'd have to admit to staring at women's legs when they walk by, rather than their boobs. Also, Ugg boots lower the score by 5, skirts short enough to see their panties lowers it by 2, and unshaved legs lowers it by 8. He has no qualms about being good friends with a Wild Flower, just don't expect him to drool over her legs. That being said, wearing heels gracefully increases the score by 3.
Virtues:
• Nobly Compassionate: Chris sincerely cares about people (and animals) and making them happy. That’s why he readily volunteers at the animal shelter, even if it was his father’s suggestion at first... Yes, he thought about volunteering for the same organization his older brother volunteers for, but because they build houses he knows he would end up feeling bothered about “inadequate pathways” and “poor uses of space” in the blueprints.
He goes out of his way to help others, even if it hinders his own schedule. Whether it be helping a teacher carry books to a classroom, or helping a pregnant mother with five screaming children carry her groceries out to her car. He does not believe in purposely hurting people for the sake of hurting them, and will jump to the defense of someone who is being harmed.
He tries to understand other people such as why they’re upset or angry, or sharing in their joy if they’re happy. Making people happy makes him happy. He’s the kind of friend to go to for a shoulder to cry on because you just broke up with your girlfriend of three years, even if it’s in the middle of the night. Chris sympathizes with others and tries to alleviate their burden, whatever it may be.
His heart can be magnanimous, though he is not without fault, usually giving into his weaknesses before able to take a moment to calm down and think things through. Even so, he is generous in forgiving insult or injury, especially if it’s asked of him, and it takes a lot to make him feel resentful or vindictive towards others. It’s just himself he has to work on not feeling bitter towards.
• Accepting/Acquiescing: While Christopher has little to no tolerance for things like bullying and breaking the rules, or law, he has an open enough mind so that things don’t usually surprise him, and he knows how to “roll with the punches” if a situation calls for it. As long as something isn’t in direct violation of his personal morals, then he’ll concede to it. If his little brother wanted to dress in drag and do the hula run around in a make-shift space suit, he might think him strange, but let him do as he pleased.
He is open-minded enough not to get upset about things that may go against the social norm, so as long as no one is being hurt and no rules are being violated, he’ll shrug it off and go with it. If girls (and guys) wanted to dress up in skimpy little outfits and run around, saving the citizens of the city from strange creatures, then who was he to stand in their way? Besides… he’s a fan of mini skirts. Er… on women, of course. Not his own, personal fashion.
• Unwavering Allegiance: If someone has ever done something for Christopher’s benefit, he will forever be indebted to them, making it his personal goal to pay back their kindness ten fold. “But I only let him borrow a pencil…” It doesn’t matter! Need your car washed? He’s on it! Need to borrow school notes? He’ll have them typed up and in a labeled folder by the end of the day. If Chris considers one a friend, then their life is pretty much made. No matter what happens in the future, if he's loyal to someone, he'll remain loyal.
Obviously, for many reasons, his loyalty to others can be used against him and he wouldn’t give it a second thought. His mother has voiced her concern to him on numerous occasions that he may be getting walked over; he doesn’t always believe that people have good intentions, but hopes that his own actions will make others want to be their best, as well.
• Go for the gold, or go home: While he is not entirely cut-throat in his ambitiousness, he still wants to do his best in every way possible. He sets high standards for himself, as well as those around him, often working to encourage others to do their best, too. He has goals and is determined reach them. When Chris starts something, he does his best to see it through ‘til the end. If something happens and he doesn’t manage to get a project finished, he would feel like a complete failure and probably sulk for a few days before moving on, though he would retain the sense of worthlessness. This feeling would probably last until his next project is successful. He hates feeling like a failure for anything, which will push him to the brink, and sometimes over the edge, but at least he’ll feel accomplished and proud of his efforts.
Flaws:
• Superiority: Chris is a nice guy, but he has to excel in whatever he does, giving him a bit of a, well, complex. He has to be the first to jump up and help someone, he has to make good grades, he has to pitch that no-hitter, he has to be better than YOU! No, he won’t forcibly go out of his way to prove that he is better, but he cackles victoriously in his mind when he gets the only perfect score on the test or when he’s modestly blushing as that elderly woman thanks him for helping her cross the street. Wipe that smug little smirk off your face, Mr. Gallo — those are pathetic things to be “better at” than other people. Although he tries not to show that he does these things for any reason other than being selfless, he slips up from time to time and one may catch him grinning, ear to ear, when he knows he's bested someone else.
Needless to say, Chris will do his best to subtly outdo anyone in anything. He’ll beat you in tic-tac-toe, yet again! He’ll have the most perfectly made bed in the dorm! He’ll have his clothes neater and cleaner than the next guy! He’ll scoop up that dog poop so there isn’t a streak on the sidewalk! That’s right. You’ll think twice about crossing Christopher Gallo when it comes to s**t like that, next time!
Sometimes his ambition to be better than other benefits those around him, such as on his baseball team, or even for group projects, but outside that Chris could be considered kind of obnoxious, especially if he was competing with someone one-sided. He holds others to expectations that are often unreachable and tries too hard a lot of times, which could definitely annoy people, especially those with whom he isn’t a close friend.
• Temper: Since he was little Chris has been known to throw the occasional temper tantrum when things didn’t turn out as he wanted them. He’s not proud about them, and a lot of times he can’t stop it even though he knows it’s building. Chris likes doing things on his own and if he’s forced into being helped, he isn’t going to appreciate it. He’s a proud individual who happens to think he’s fairly self-sufficient, thank you very much. Asking for help would be the last possible option for him, and if someone “helps” him without his permission it will hurt his pride and will begrudgingly thank them, but the next time he did something that they might feel he needs help with, he’ll make sure not to tell them about it. Regardless of his occasional temper tantrums, he doesn’t hold grudges, or at least not for very long. He will get angry, pitch his fit, and then cool off and apologize for getting out of hand.
His temper combined with his superiority complex makes him a sore loser, unable to accept defeat gracefully. He turns into an immature little brat, really. He’ll get moody and angry about things he isn’t good at, though it’s not reasonable to expect someone to be good at everything, right? He’ll demand a rematch if he loses, on the chance he’ll win the second time around.
Anything he isn’t stellar at he dislikes, making him afraid to branch out and try new hobbies or activities for fear of not being good at them and losing. Regardless, if he’s challenged to something, he’ll have to accept: his pride would be harmed even more if he didn’t accept! While he takes challenges seriously, he doesn’t hold them over to other aspects of his life. If someone constantly beats him in a board game, he’ll be upset about it, and may end up tossing the game off the table if he’s teased enough for his temper to break, but it won’t stop him from offering help in math class the next day. He has his tantrum and gets over it rather quickly, especially if something distracts him from his bitterness or resentment for losing at something.
• Self-Righteous: Coming from a privileged, well off family with a strict moral upbringing, and having minimal opportunity to really experience the world through the eyes of those not as financially and religiously “fortunate” as himself, Chris has been known to fall victim to bouts of self-righteousness. While he doesn’t go around preaching about his own morals, Chris believes that his own examples should be enough to make others want to better themselves. Heightened by his sense of superiority, and a little by his temper, Chris may offer suggestions about what others should or shouldn’t do, according to his own morals. Be respectful to others, don’t litter, say please and thank you, “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am”, hold the door for the person behind you, don’t be greedy in the buffet line.
When he does have to “remind” people of common courtesy, he can’t help but feel morally superior to them, and his actions will overcompensate. He’ll hold the door for several people behind him after it was closed in his face, or will pick up the dropped cigarette butt and “return it” to its owner to be properly disposed of, or make a comment about how there were other people in line when the person in front of him took the last five pieces of ham and their plate was already full. The dirty looks he gets for his comments do nothing, because he knows he’s the one doing the right thing.
His self-righteousness falls primarily over the spectrum of those he hasn't built a golden lining around; namely, people he doesn't know. Those within the bright, good light of Chris's mind have a fairly large reprieve for any moral faults they commit by his standards. Instead of returning their cigarette butt to them, he'll subtly pick it up and throw it away, himself; rather than commenting on how they could have held open the door, he'll just smile to the person behind him and hold it open for them without drawing attention to his actions; and he definitely wouldn't make a comment about them taking more food than they need at the buffet! They must be hungry. Basically, the population is split into two for Chris — those he knows and admires, their golden lining perfectly intact, and those he doesn't know, to whom he feels morally superior.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: [x] His eyes are soft, open, and expressive (unless he's in a pissy mood, then they're narrowed and unhappy looking), goldenrod in color, inherited from his mother. Because of the expressive quality of his eyes, it's difficult for him to conceal his emotions, so when he does try to be secretive, his eyes usually give his thoughts away.
Hair: [x] Straight and neatly kept, brushed to the side, it is obvious that he has had military influence in his upbringing by his hairstyle. Except for when he's playing baseball, then it's roughly brushed back with his hand and shoved under his hat and out of the way... but prefers it brushed. The color is a dark auburn-red with some highlights from being out in the sun. His hair isn’t so short to be mistaken for a military or naval man, himself, but it is kept nicely; just like the good little boy his mother always wanted him to be. Actually, it's getting a little shaggy looking, and if he was at home, his mother would probably made him get it cut. He is of Italian decent and it shows, even in the slightly tan color of his sunkissed skin.
Face: [x][x] His face is oval in shape, maturing recently from the leftover baby-fat from his youth into a young man. He has no noticeable freckles or beauty marks, though he has spent time in the sun, which tanned him with a soft, golden glow. He is usually flashing a full smile and friendly expression.
Clothes: Did he mention he was on the baseball team for DCU? Chris feels most comfortable in his uniform, with his socks pulled up over his pants and shins. When he's not in uniform, it is very typical for Chris to wear designer polos and khaki pants. He's not afraid of the color pink and will wear it occasionally, but prefers blues, greens, reds, and golds.

Name: Danica Pendragon
Nickname: Dani, Dani California, The Dragon
Age: 17
Birthday: Jan. 9th
Sign: Capricorn
Gemstone: Garnet
Blood Type: O+
Fav. Food: Raspberries, blackberries and a good New York Cheesecake.
Hated Food: Strawberries - She's allergic
School: Meadoview Public High School
Hobbies: Flute: Imposed upon her by her grandfather, Danica was forced to learn to play the flute... And actually doesn't mind it. It's a nice relief at the end of the day and she's pretty good at it. She doesn't think it'll be a career choice, but definitely not something she plans to put down any time soon.
Drawing: A skill she got from her mother, Danica's passion is drawing and she one day wants to be an animator or comic book artist. She draws everything from mech to furries and every thing in between. Her favourite medium is color pencils and markers, but paints are pretty fun too. She's still getting the hang of digital media but she takes summer classes for that. She currently has a web-comic up featuring a story she had collaborated with her best friend on about ancient Egypt and magic.
Collecting 'Stars': When she was a baby her father used to take her out to star gaze at the outskirts of Destiny City. This lead her to a fascination with stars and, in her later years, collecting star shaped things. This ranges from jewelery (earrings, pendents, etc.) to plushes, and even statuettes. If it is star shaped or has stars on it she gets it to add to her collection.
Most of the start of her collection was given to her by her father during his travels around the world. This, tied with her love of star-gazing, has caused her collection to grow much larger in scale over the years. Her favourite pieces, however, is a jewelry set that was given to her for her sixteenth birthday. A bracelet and matching anklet of silver with a star-shaped opal charm dangling from the center, as well as a necklace with a star-shaped locket pendant with a small opal crescent moon in the center of it. Given to her by her father, she never takes them off.
Virtues: Brave: Danica laughs in the face of danger, she's not afraid of anything! Well, okay, even a brave person fears things but Dani won't ever admit she fears anything (I'm pretty sure that's her pride talking). She's never afraid to try new things (time permitted), or do what's right (she does try to obey the letter of the law, but sometimes what's right and what's lawful don't always tend to be the same. Like punching in some one's face when they make fun of her friends, it's not lawful but she thinks it's fair.). She'll stand up for what she believes in, and for other people, with out a single hesitation and won't give up. As for what she fears... Well honestly it's never really come up. She sure she fears something, but as to what she couldn't tell you. As soon as she knows, she'll be sure to hide it from you.
Friendly: Danica is nothing if not friendly, the whole world is her friend. Every person she sees, fellow students to strangers, are met with smiles and a cheerful hello. By no means is she shy and she doesn't take too kindly to being ignored. She will say hello until greeted back, just a warning. She understands that her actions tend to annoy a lot of people, but that's usually the people who don't like her anyway so what's the harm in saying hello until they acknowledge her presence? She likes to push their shiny, shiny buttons.
Determined: Wanting to be the best she can be, wanting to make something of herself, Danica will do nothing less then her best. School is not something she takes lightly and she will never settle for second best. As such she takes double the notes, always asks questions and will even stay after school to make sure she's understood the lesson properly. She stays with it until she's got it down and covered, and this attitude bleeds over into all aspects of her life, making her track record for finishing what she starts pretty damn good. This need to be the best does make her come off as rather stubborn, and she's not afraid to admit that yes, she is a stubborn git, thanks. But even knows there are sometimes when being stubborn gets you no where, like trying to get one's hair just so when one is running late for school.
Flaws: Foolhardy: Dani's aware that everything has consequences, but in her haste to get things done she often forgets about such things until it's too late. She tends to speak her mind with out thinking about what she's saying, which has caused feelings to get hurt, and refuses to admit when she's in the wrong more times then she'd care to admit.
This has also gotten her into trouble when trying new things, as she tends to get ahead of herself when she doesn't follow directions or read the manual. She's also gotten into a fair number of fights when defending people, or her beliefs, when her pride mixes with her bravery. She learned the hard way to keep fights off of school property so that detentions aren't thrown her way. Arguments are also known to happen when debates about one's beliefs tend to get out of hand, Dani hates admitting she's in the wrong.
Proud: With determination comes pride (in a manner of speaking) and because of this proud manner in which she works, Danica will not ever ask for help. And no, she won't take your offered help either. She can do it on her own, will do it on her own or she'll die trying. Of course this has lead to a bit of a cocky attitude, and hurt feelings, because she can, and will, do it as her pride won't let her do otherwise.
If she does have to rely on others, which she has had to do in the past, she begrudgingly accepts their help and will do all she can to repay the debt. She refuses to let good deeds and helpful natures go un-repaid. Believe it or not she's not too big on showing off, and this includes her webcomic. She won't actively go rubbing good things or her talent in other people's face, that's a bit too rude for her liking. But she does love a good a**-pat every now and again, and will soak up praise if given to her.
On the downside she doesn't handle any sort of rejection or insult too well. She understands that criticism is needed to grow, but there's a fine line between criticism and being an a**. Rejection of any sort is usually masked until she has time to let it out, while insults are met with the fiery rage of the Pendragon temper.
Strength of Will: If you haven't figured it out by now there's very little that stops Danica from doing what she wants, how she wants, etc. She has a very strong and imposing will and when some one gets in her way she may find herself cutting them down. She doesn't take too easily to being ignored, or having to accept help and would prefer not to. Her will is all, so help her. Through it all she's more of a verbal fighter then a physical one, and she's pretty good and finding just the right words (most of the time) to either hurt some one or piss them off even more. She's not above using low blows either, if only just to show people that she will stop at nothing to be the top dog. This is a trait all Pendragons have, as far as she knows, and when it's a battle of wills the tempers flares. This show of temper due to losing a battle of wills is how she earned the nickname "the dragon". This usually means she'll yell until she's blue in the face and then some, and her language turns a bit fowl. She also tends to get a bit British in the process.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Lilac, almond shaped
Hair: Long and silver, usually pulled back into a tight ponytail on top of her head. The end of the pony brushes against her ankles when standing, though it's layered so a few strands stick out at the top. The hair tie she uses had a plush star on the front of it.
Face: Heart shaped with a small, button like nose and full lips. Pale skinned.

Name: Selina Sabbat
Nickname: Lina
Age:18
Birthday: 06/06
Sign: Gemini
Gemstone: Agate, Green Aventurine
Blood Type:: A+
Fav. Food: Chocolate, cake, fruits
Hated Food: Ginger, coffee, milk
School: Sovereign Heights Preparatory School
Hobbies: Reading : She loves to read, always with a book in her bad, she will just sit under a tree and fall in their dream. She is so concentrated in general when reading than if you speak near to her she will not hear anything. She has a big imagination and love fantasy novels the most. Every story of magic, witchcraft and fairies are part of her library. Her mother used to tell her fantasy story when she was a child before sleeping, and after she heard “Once upon a time…” the first time she was addicted to book. She still secretly dream about prince charming too.
Cinema: she likes watching movies almost as much as reading. She likes to go see the movies made from books, even if the adaptation were in general pretty bad, she just likes enjoying the moment of seeing the character from the books moving, speaking and all. She doesn’t watch TV a lot, almost never, but she used her computer to watch movies, series. One thing she is addicted to is Japanese drama. It makes her laughs or cries like nothing else.
Plushies: if there is a UFO catcher in the town you can be sure Sélina went here. She has a lot and a lot of plushies in her room. It is easy you can see the big library full of book in the right side of her bed and the sofa almost as full on the left side. She loves collecting them, without real sense, like she has care bear and tiger side to side. It is just when she sees a new one she likes she will buy it. She has still an childish mind about it, like in Toy Story, “When I am not here I am sure they are doing parties” it is what she hopes.
Astronomy: the sky, the planet, the story of universe, she loves it. Because it is part of fantasy, so many things are unknown outside the Earth, she is looking every night at the Moon, dreaming about rabbit dancing over there or a princess watching the Earth with warm eyes. She has a lot of book about astronomy too. Well majority says the same things, so she just have the NASA website in her internet bookmark and checks it every time she can.
Virtues: A care bear ?: she is really open-minded and has a kind heart; she can accept different people easily. When a stranger comes she will talk to him/her. She understands that there is different kind of culture and faith. She likes to learn about different culture too, people are different, and it is what make Earth so interesting. She is really sociable. And she believes in unnatural things of course, like ghost, fairies and magic.
Passionate: when she is found something she likes she will never let it go. Like if she becomes fan of an artist she will buy all the things she could find about him/her. Just because the money goes to this artist, it's her way to support him/her. She can be really passionate about people too. Like she has friends she loves a lot, and will do anything for them if they ask. Like: waking up at 2am. She never turns off her cell phone for these reasons. For her it is just sometimes: I like it, I will become a supporter for all my life, or I hate it, I will never come to like it. Even if she tries, she can feel it.
Rational: it can be contradictory with being open-minded but she doesn’t see it like this. For her being rational is like when the weather is hot, not keeping chocolate outside or it will melt. Or if you want to save the Earth, you need to start with little things every day. She loves to go dancing but if she drives she will never drink alcohol, this is her way to be rational.
Flaws: Naive : she is sometimes to daydreaming, forgetting the real world. She has the head in the books, dreaming about fairies and other magic stuff. She sometimes doesn't realize the hardest of life. She tends to trust people easily, she wants to see the good things in humans but she is majority of the time tricked. She is kind-hearted but too much for her own good.
Possessive: : she is really possessive with the ones she loved. She is not the jealous type when it's about a boyfriend, but her best friends she is not willing to share them. She just wants them to be always by her side, and don't really like when they get new friend who take her place in their heart. Because she doesn’t know those new people, and she is always scared they might hurt her loved ones. She is really protective to her siblings too, which is bad because they tend to rely on her too much and don’t act by themselves.
Holds grudge: :” I can’t do anything about it” is the sentence she uses a lot when she get revenge on someone. She is really kind, never get angry easily but when she is, it is dangerous. First she will never scream. She will just stop speaking to the person, like if no one is here. Ignorance is her best weapon. She can be really cold and in general people feel it quickly. Then she will never wish someone’s death, why because if she has a grudge against this person, it will be more interesting to make him/her suffer than making her family suffer from death. She can be kind of sadistic.
Both virtue and flaw: she is easy to read. You can read her feeling like a book. If she is happy she will be humming, smiling all the time. If she is upset she will be cold like the North Pole. She has difficulties to lie because of this, but it show she is an honest person too.
