Gannet was in a state where the brain gets numb and slows your motions by a few secounds. This state was the feeling of trying to get the tired feel away and the feeling of being more awake. He was only willing to walk and not jump or fly into trees to get food. He thought he wasn't that hungary to do that. His only option now was to steal. The incubus was willing to do that then get it for himself. He sighed, tilted his head back a little. A loud roar came from his abdomen. "Shut up already, I'm gonna find food soon." Sadly, his stomach did not take comfort in his words and remained growling at him. A house was just a few yards away from him. He figured to simply go up and answer it. It took him a while to walk there and when he did, his stomach roared like it never did before. "Errrr, shut up!" He looked at the door of the house, but there was something odd about it now. Black spots were covering it then the rest of his vison. He fell to the ground, with his head against the door.

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame hummed as she poured the soup into bowls and put it on a black tray. The bowls were a great contrast to the black tray because they were a decorative white china. The bowls had a delicate blue lace on them. She set the tray down and sat down in the seat she had been sitting in earlier. She hummed as she passed out the bowls and the spoons to eat the soup with. She then gave them napkins before grabbing her own bowl of soup. She leaned back in her seat and thought about it quietly.

"What tale to tell," she said quietly to herself as she thought going through memories, "Perfect."

She looked at them and took a bite of her soup before beginning, "My father adopted me when I was young," she began and paused before continuing, "He found me on the street, abandoned by my family. He took me home with intentions I don't know about, he lavished promises on me that he would never leave me and that he would always take care of me. I was fairly apprehensive about it but I was happy. Three months after he took me to his home he took me to a party and told everyone I was his daughter. He dressed me in a beautiful golden gown and showed me around like I was a princess and not a child from the streets who was unwanted. I was amazed at how beautiful everything was and how much everyone loved my father. The next morning was the first morning I called him dad. This is actually the first time I have been away from him for so long. I wonder when he will come by to say hello."

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

_____________
Doppelganger Jiko

as
{The Elvish Wanderer Vaelnephrin}
Level 1: Spell Sword

There was something fairly civilizing about the room. The comfortable seats, the smell of cooking food, the gleaming china (he had to resist swiping)--it was all familiar in some strange way. Not the room itself maybe, but the feeling of relaxation. This however, he knew, was simply a diversion. Civility was never permanent. The outside world was ravaging, waiting for the walls to come down, to break the peace and claim the home. There was never rest. It was all pretend.

So he thought, apparently swallowed up in his soup. The elf had been eating with some amount of grace, gazing deeply into the soup as if pondering over the complexities of life. The pleasant smile had dropped throughout, but as he surfaced to consciousness it returned. He gazed warmly at the others, charmed by the food it would seem, and listened politely as Ame began her tale.

All things went locked away in his memory. But, Jiko felt, there was a piece missing. He took her home with intentions she doesn't know about...? What exactly did that mean? Could there have been certain obligations she had to fill later? She didn't say..
The elf visibly perked up at this minute detail (being the curious and observant thing he was), but he remained respectful and silent. Whatever this meant, she had close relatives and a stable home life; her identity was less valuable than Sedrick's.

"A lovely story, Miss Tenshi." Vael praised, heartfelt. "Alas, it is late, and my tales would keep us up well into the morning."

Bruzon Nightstalker
Night Goblin
Bio-Engineered Chump (Nobody)

Bruzon would have been falling asleep until he realised that more people had come in, not only that but they looked like fighters...well not in the same way as Bruzon, who could easily destroy them without trying, but they would be his companions for now. So Bruzon would stand, hiw robe covering his body and his large metal box following behind him. Bruzon would quickly catch up and stand behind the group, he moved so quickly and quietly that they may have not even notice him come up behind them. Bruzon would look into the Darkness, it just made him smile, a dark damp area made a Night Goblin feel at home...Bruzon would wait for the others to move first, he wanted to stay away from the light coming from the Wizards fireball, he prefered a more stealhy approach...

Deep in the dark confines of the cellar, the sound of claw to stone echoed through its air. Multiple things rushed across the shadows, just beyond the edge of light's gaze, burring themselves in the darkness of shadow. The Stair way led down to the basement below, a wall on left as it went down. There where exactly 20 wooden steps, all made of a steady looking dark plank that I doubt any of your characters would be able to identify.

Along the right side of the staircase was a rail with 4 pillars reaching off it to the ceiling. Beyond that, a wall of boxes and barrels that one could just see through to the empty void of darkness that was the basement itself. Those tall enough to see just over the edge of the wall could manage to catch the outline of the rooms closer contents, and a more distant silver outline that seemed to be where the wall should have been. The first man down who looked at this would be the only one to catch the monstrous outline of some ravenous creature. It was only a shadow rushing along the tops of some boxes before it vanished into the darkness, but it was well over the size of a large dog, with red eyes a a glint of jagged teeth. No clue could come as to what it was, but kind it did not seem.

Zev thought back to just before the battle and remembered seeing the doll just outside Elaine's room. After everything that had happened he had almost forgotten about it. He could of sworn the doll was glaring at him, but because she was a doll it was hard to tell expression.

Zev gave a nod towards Elaine "Sure, I don't mind" he wasn't sure why Elaine would want to keep this gift a secret, but he wasn't one to talk, there were many things he would want to keep to himself, part of his past being some of it. He turned his attention towards the doll and gave a nod towards Marisa "Nice to meet you"

Zev was still concerned for Elaine and thought it might be best to get her back to her room rather than on a couch. He started making his way over towards her ready to pick her up. "Come on, we both have had a long night; we can talk more before I leave." Zev then started to lift Elaine off the couch into a princess carry, heading towards her room. Zev looked down at Elaine and could see she was tired from the earlier events, he had completely forgotten about his own injury by this point, not that he wasn't used to it.

Zev made his was into her room and saw the whole place was full of dolls and he wondered if they were just like Marisa. For the time being he ignored them and placed Elaine on her bed, then placed the cover over her so he can start to drift into sleep, and he gave a gentle smile towards her before turning to leave.

As he was turning to leave Zev heard a bang coming from downstairs ~s**t...are those a** holes back for more?~ Zev turned and looked back at Elaine "Don't worry, stay there and I'll go and see what's going on." Before Elaine could question or object Zev had already started to make his way downstairs, he made sure he still had his daggers at his waist in case more trouble decided to come.

Zev cautiously made his way downstairs, daggers at the ready, but something was wrong....he couldn't hear any kind of movement, anywhere. Zev looked around carefully in case he was missing something. He finally looked towards the door and thought it might be a good idea to check outside in case they were planning an ambush or something. He placed one of his daggers back and kept the other one ready to strike, as he opened the door a man collapsed past the door and into the house.

Zev was surprised to say the least, but before he went to look at the man he could feel something calling in his blood, what? he wasn't sure himself. He just felt nostalgic, he hadn't felt that since he last put his eyes on his mother before running at a young age. He decided to ignore the feeling for now and tend to the fainted man. As Zev lifted him up he saw the man had horns on his head, as he lifted the man he also felt what appeared to be wings, he then turned his head and saw a pair of black wings spouting from the man's back; that's when his feelings made sense.

~Demon~ The bloodline his ancestors had defected from, but some of that blood still coursed through his veins and it seemed to be calling towards this man, probably because of his demonic side. Zev pushed all this to the back of his mind and put one arm under the man's opposite arm to help steady them. This guy was far to heavy to try and lift up the stairs princess style; so he struggled up the stairs and he decided to yell to Elaine while he put this new guest in his appointed room. "Hey Elaine, it seems we have another guest, I'll put him on my bed for now and be there in a moment." Zev pushed open his door and carefully placed the man on his bed.

Zev was never one to leave people if they were injured and he didn't know if this guy was, so he decided to give him a once over before going back to Elaine. At the moment he didn't care this guy may be a demon, he just wanted to know he wouldn't be in pain. Zev started to examine the sides of his head.

Sedrick Rekt
The Drunken Cat

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick would still be leant back within the couch, his furred arm resting upon it as his fingers rap upon the fabric, a rather old feline habit as it made his claws softly seep within the material before gently pulling them out, in an attempt to make ones arm more comfortable. within his other hand the cup of tea, as the small plate it was upon rested within his lap. This would not of remained though, considering with the entrance of the lovely miss Ame, the smell of the soup filled the air. Sedrick sipped is "Poisoned" Tea as he placed it back upon the plate and moved it to the coffee table. He would then gratefully take the napkin and utensils from her, placing them upon his lap as he'd believe to be polite, considering he never was taught in the way of table manners. So the napkin ended up tied around his neck and the bowl upon his lap with the spoon dunked within it.

He would hear Ame's words, as she continued to tell of her story to the Jiko, he listened intently, while sipping from the spoon the soup that Ame had served. To Sedrick it tasted amazing, considering he hadn't eaten anything for some time, any food seemed to settle well with him. He would direct his eyes towards Ame from his bowl, to show he was still listening. He took note of what was said, it sounded to him that Ame wasn't exactly comfortable talking about her past, which he could understand to a degree. He let her finish as he would then look towards Jiko, as he seemed to hint towards leaving, Sedrick didn't know what to make of this, but he presumed that meant he had a place in town to stay. "Oh... well... if you believe you should go..."

Sedrick's ears then perked towards Ame as he smiled warmly towards her. "The Soups great Ame, can't thank you enough for it...pleasant story too." He stated as the bowl seemed empty as he spoke, already he had finished the meal she had set him, he was rather content with how full his belly was as of this moment. He wasn't sure how to take these to at the moment, considering one seemed ready to leave and the other, well he sat within their home. Was he really welcome here?

(X_x its been a while, not sure if this is right or not but meh, I hope it works out.)

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame crocked an eyebrow as she listened to him and Sedrick. "It is fair to say that I pull my share of all nighters," she said and crocked an eyebrow, "Although, if you must go then you must." Her pale eyes traced him in interest, "But I was interested in hearing one of your stories Jiko."

She smiled at Sedrick, "I wish I could take credit for the soup but alas all I did was warm it up," she responded and put her still half full bowl on the coffee table and stood up, "There is enough room for you two to both stay if you like." She walked toward the window and looked out it, "It's still raining," she said and turned to face them.

She ran a hand through her blond hair and twirled it in her fingers. She leaned on the wall and looked out the window again as her eyes fluttered for a moment. Her mind wandered to her father again before she returned to her new friends.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

As she stretched, Demetri glanced over her shoulder to see her silent, intimidating companion. "Hello," she said cheerfully, disregarding his ominous silence. "I see you've finally joined us. Nice to meetcha!" Turning away to peer into the darkness, she let her arms fall to her sides, hands balled into fists as she listened for the scuffling of tiny feet. Should have heard him a lot sooner, she thought. I ought to be on my toes now.

The door was pulled back, revealing Gannet's crumbled up body now on the floor. His head slowly slid down and slammed against the floor. This added more blood trickling down his head. He still laid there, while a small pool of blood was next to his head. He was dragged up the stairs, having his heght ;lean against Zev as he sturggled to go his bed. He was placed on top of the bed. He wasn't sure what happen to him when he fell to the ground. He thought, right before he passed out that someone of his race got him, things like that did happen to him once in a while. His stomach roared to show the reason why this happen to him. The inncubus was unconsious, unable to yell or say anything to his stomach that was the reason to all this mess.

Gannet woke up slowly. It was surprising to him that he was alive. First his nose began to twitch, he smelt something different. It certainly wasn't the smell of the outdoors. He knew that someone took him atleast. There wasn't any smell of cooking though. He placed his hand firmly on the bed; bending his elbows to move up. The young man flinched as soon as he felt pain in his head agian. " Damn, what the hell happen?" He thought out loud. He pressed two fingers against top side of his head, near the left horn. The fingers were pulled for him to see that he was bleeding. " Urggh, this all happen cause I was hungary..? " He questioned outloud again. The demon was unware someone was actually there to answer his questions. It was a guy, a handsome one at that in Gannet's eyes. His stomach roared firecly at him, reminding him that he had more stronger urges then what was now passing his head. " Uhhh....hey is there anyway I can get something to eat? Thanks for the help also." He asked, unsure of what to really say to the guy without sounding like a seducer. The most difficult thing for him, but the want for food took him over then the obvious wants.

Zev finally noticed some blood trickling down the side of his face, as he was about to clean it up with his head band the man had started to move and rather suddenly. Zev wasn't prepared for the guy to come around so soon, and almost fell off the bed, but luckily he steadied himself before he fell face first onto the wooden floor. As he was trying to regain himself he heard the Demon muttering to himself. Was he...complaining? Zev wasn't expecting that.

The man then turned towards Zev, he was looking unsure and confused, alot must of happened for a guy to be feeling like this. But what took him back the most was that he asked for food...food of all things after -apparently- fainting and being injured. Although Zev probably would of done the same if in this guy's position, he was an odd ball like that. Zev rubbed the back of his head unsure of what to do, cause this wasn't his house, Elaine had yet to meet this guy, and he had a funny feeling he finished off the remaining stew Elaine had made. "Uh...well the thing is I don't live here; I'm only staying for the time being. But I do know where there is food, but you will need to meet the owner first and see if she'll allow you to stay, its not really my call to make." As Zev was about to head for the door he stopped for a moment and muttered to himself "But Elaine could be asleep by now..." he decided to take the chance and signaled the guy to follow him out into the hallway, he walked a few doors down until he reached Elaine's room and he slowly and quietly opened the door "Um....Elaine? Are you still awake?" he asked quietly waiting for a response.

xxxxxElaine felt a bit bad about Zev having to carry her to her room. She almost protested about him taking her to her room, but it was too late, he was already carrying her down the hall.

Mumbling a weak thanks she rolled onto her side just when she heard the bang coming from downstairs. Elaine would have bolted up right in bed if her muscles would listen to her, but the most she could do was raise her head. 'I'll have to leave it to Zev..' She thought listening carefully to the sounds coming from outside her door. It sounded like there was talking? Finally, the door to her room opened, but it was only Zev.

"Y-yeah.. I'm still up." Struggling a bit, she managed to make it to an upright position resting her back on the headboard of her bed. "What is it? Is someone here?"

Zev started to wlak in after hearing Elaine reply, he motioned for the man to follow him in. "Hey Elaine, Um....this guy here seems to be hurt and he is also hungry. If it's alright with you could i get him some of that stew you made? Also it's kinda late I don't suppose it would be ok for him to stay aswell?" As Zev was waiting for a reply he just remembered he didn't ask for the guy's name, also he didn't introduce himself. He turned around back to the guy and rubbed the back of his head in embaressment. "Oh sorry i forgot to introduce myself, My name is Zev Myuzaki. And this here is Elaine Winters, the owner of this house." Zev hoped this would make the guy feel more comfortable but he couldn't help but feel like there were hungry eye's watching him. He shook it off for now asuming it was his injury getting to him and making him feel paronoid, just because this guy was a demon didn't mean he was like the others and by the looks for things this guy was just hungry and wanted food asap.

((sorry short post XD not much to do in this situation))
PostPosted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 4:17 pm

Gannet stared blankly at Zev for a few moments. He jut now realized that he was rude ,but then again he was rude from the start. The whole deal about collasping on the front of the door in attempt to steal food from them. The demon didn't care about these things to begin with, he'd collaspe in front of anyone's house that he wanted. The inncubus scooted backwards in a sitting postion; flinching as he did so. " Oh, that right? I'm sure things will come together nicely soon enough" He said with a slight smile as he watched Zev walk out of the room. A happy little sigh came from his lips. His head tilted to the side, resting on the palm of his left hand. I could just watch him walk out of rooms all day. He thought in his head. " This owner is most likely old or around my age, I bet. An easy target for me. She'll feel more comfortable without the horns and wings, I'm sure. " He pressed his fingers against the tip of his horns and pushed them into his head, it hurt a little due to his head injury. Now for th wings, he simply pulled his shoulders back, stretched his neck out and began to grit his teeth. He always hated bringing his wings into his back, it was painful. The wings pushed deep into his back, as Gannet held his yelps of pain. " Now that's over and done with." He got out of be, sweeping his fingers into his hair; making sure it looked right.

He calmly walked out of the room and into the hall way where he found Zev. The guy stood outside of a room belonging to the owner. He walked to him and stood right next to him. Maybe a little too close, but that didn't bother Gannet. He wanted to get a chance to secertly smell Zev. Mmmm..he smells quite nice. He heard the owner's voice and saw peeked in from the door, once Zev walked in. The owner was just a girl. He didn't have a problem with them though, any girl would do fine for him. The demon leaned against the wall, smiling a small smile, cause he knows what little girls thought of older guys when they smile big. A perdophile. He certainly wasn't that, well not yet atleast. Gannet turned his head towards Zev; once he spoke to him directly. " Oh no, it's not a problem. I should of introduce myself first. I'm Gannet and sometimes Mansi ,but that only depends on certain circumstances. " He said with a light smile.

Bruzon would quickly smash his large hammer down onto the ground, causing enough sparks to light the torch, Bruzon would carry the torch in his other arm for now, lighting the way ahead.
