Hibiki Kirisho

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Hibiki bowed his head and watched as the casket was slowly entombed into the ground. This is it, he would never have to see Hei's smug face again, he told himself that to lighten up his mood a bit, sadly, to no avail. He sighed as he gave off a shrug, since his ability to detect reiatsu was average at best, he was among the last of the Shinigami present to feel Tomomi's reiatsu, in fact he heard his footsteps first before he even felt the Commander-General's presence. He turned around to address him, but stopped when he saw the solemn look on his face, and decided to simply join him in silence. Unlike the others, Hibiki didn't find his tardiness the least bit suspicious. Hibiki himself often found himself swamped with paperwork, even from the most mundane of events, thus, he understood Tomomi's late arrival, attributing it to his work.

Which is exactly why he found it odd that Yuki would be using Bakudo #58, being quite adept at Kido himself, he recognized it immediately. He found it odd that she'd be using a Kido spell, and a tracking spell of all things, but restrained himself from voicing out his opinion. Until Yuki made a bold attack towards the Commander-General, Hibiki's mouth flew open in surprise, even more so when Yuki told them that it was not Tomomi. Hibiki's mind instantly remembered only one enemy with the ability to shape-shift, Dolor. "Tadashi, it's Dolor." he told his Lieutenant, at the same time warning him about the evident danger. He looked at the others, Nu was waiting for Yuki to finish her attack, Elisia was on standby and the others were as well. Kato used a Kido spell to try and damage the enemy, but Hibiki knew it would simply be dissipated by Dolor's unknown abilities.

Without a second to waste, Hibiki twirled his zanpakuto in front of him and caught it, casting a Hado spell Hado #58, Tenran!" Kato's Senju Koten Taiho would impact on Dolor first. Hopefully the Exaequare would be blinded enough by the Hado spell for Hibiki's Tenran to make contact with him. Tightening his grip on his zanpakuto, he readied himself to release his Shikai, even his Bankai should the need arise.

A chill ran up his spin as he felt his Captain's reiatsu. He immediatly turned to see him as he came walking up. A bead of sweat rolled down his cheek. "T-taichō?!" He whispered with a stuttered. 'Th-this... isn't right.' He thought with some more sweat. His mannerism wasn't completely like his Captain's; his eyes flicked over to Yuki and her family. "Who is that..." Tetsunosuke's eyes gleamed back over to the pseudo-Tomomi. A vein burst its way to the edge of his skin as he withdrew the katana at his side. "Ya freakin' b*****d! How dare you impose as my Taichō!!" Angry felt like it was welling up inside of him, as his reiatsu flared up. Sakuzen Kosshi shimmered some as he was about to rush at the impostor. Suddenly, Yuki's reiryoku moved and cut at the suspect. Tetsunosuke wasn't going to let that be the only strike though. Though his attack would have to wait as, "Nanabantai Taichō! Such a strong Kidō being used at a funeral right beside a fallen comrade's body is careless... show more respect to the family of the body!" His eyes veered toward Kato as he shot him an angered look. His bottom jaw was clinched tight as the veins in his skull were pulsing; his brows furrowed. He was walking slowly back out of his standing position. His Reiatsu was slowly dwindling, but not completely. He knew in the back of his mind that it wouldn't be so easy.

Tetsunosuke held Sakuzen Kosshi out from his side as the sword grew into a scythe, going to Shikai. After Hibiki's ignorant attack, Tetsunosuke would have to wait to do anything. "Tsch, Kyūbantai Taichō. You're worse then Nanabantai Taichō... I can't believe you two call yourselves Taichōs... using such techniques here." Tetsunosuke shot Hibiki an angry glare as well. Tetsunosuke loathed people mocking, or not showing Tomomi the respect he deserved, it was this reason why he was in such a blunt and bad mood.

Dolor

Unlike the others, Dolor didn't catch Yuki as she drew the necessary symbol for the Bakudo spell. However, he did hear her say out its name, then again, he didn't really care, so he made no movement. When Yuki went on the offensive, Dolor knew his cover was blown, but he still didn't really care. As the blade drew closer and closer towards his neck, he made no effort to stop it, or to even dodge it. It effortlessly cut apart the flesh, effectively decapitating Dolor... or did it? When Yuki looked back, she would still see Dolor's head, his neck perfectly intact, but how? During the decapitation process, Dolor healed the flesh that was sliced apart as the blade made its way through its neck. By the time it exited, all of the damage had been healed and Dolor would still have his head on top of his shoulders.

"Ah damn, seems like I s*ck at acting." Dolor spoke out, using Tomomi's voice. He sighed as he listened to Nu and Elisia's comments, picking his ear as he did so and flinging the ear wax into Hei's tomb. "Let's see, I kidnapped your Commander, impersonated him to gain entrance to the funeral, I was about to zip open my fly to take a piss at... uh... whoever this dead guy is." he leaned in towards the tomb, reading the text engraved on it "Oh yeah, Hakase Hei. So, yeah, I don't have honor... so sue me." he chuckled. With a snap of his fingers three circles went out from him and began to rotate around him, mapping out the borders of his sphere. The sphere was approximately 150 meters in diameter, most likely enough to envelop everyone inside.

Once that was done, discarded Tomomi's appearance and took on a different form, just in time to deal with Kato's Kido attack. He grinned as he stretched out his hand to dissipate it, but stopped when he saw Hibiki cast another Kido spell, right behind the one Kato used. Dolor whistled in excitement as he slowed down the Senju Koten Taiho so that it would be at equal level with the Tenran. Grinning widely, he snapped his fingers and distorted the spirit particles inside the Senju Koten Taihos, to the point where they exploded and effectively dissipated the Tenran using the sheer force of the explosion. "Pretty." he spoke as he swept his hair with his hand, pocketing the other one. He looked at Tsukiko intently, staring at her bizarre appearance "So, that's what you look like when you're naked. I take it you cater to those with robot fetishes, eh?" He seemed to have no interest in taking the offensive, however that was a lie. Dolor has preserved one of the Senju Koten Taiho shots and 'customized' it, he weakened the spirit particles a bit, so much so that they were now almost invisible. He then manipulated it to shoot right towards Yuki, before impact Dolor would return it to its original structure, creating a powerful strike.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Fukutaicho

"Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it."

Eriko's right hand reappeared on Cho's hilt after Yuki's unexpected attack on the assumed imposter as well as the subsequent warning. This presented idea was confirmed almost immeditely by Nu-Taichou and Elisia-Taichou's remarks that put her on the defense even more. She picked up on the four clones stationed at hole and the two Kido being fired from Kato and Hibiki-Taicho respectively. The occurrence reminded her that she had not focused on increasing her level of Kido, whether it was Hado or Bakudo. However, Tetsu's sudden outburst of rage distracted her. Eriko did not agree with him at all. Someone was here, looking like their Captain-Commander - his Taicho - and he was wasting time arguing about the choice of action taken by people stationed below him.

When she was by his side, the Fukutaicho punched his upper arm with her left fist before refocusing her attention on the scene before them. The stranger had not made a single attempt to dodge Yuki's attack at his neck and with good reason as he seemingly healed him as quickly as she had sliced him. The use of Tomomi's voice irked her but that was all it was as the man before them confessed that he was indeed not Tomomi. She listened to the crass manner of speaking, grinding her teeth against each other. He even acted dumb poorly. Her thumb pulled Cho an inch out of her sheath as three circles passed around them to form a sphere big enough for all who were present. The Fukutaicho had not given serious thought to actual identity of the imposter until he shifted his appearance. The only person who they had come across with such power was Dolor. He had blocked the Kido spells easily.

"Dumbass," she whispered, keeping her blade as it was for now. He had said something about wanting to play with them that last time in Rome. As much as she wanted to release Cho and manipulate Kido until head spinned, the girl kept her cool and waited along with everyone else. For one, they did not know of what the thing around them was capable.

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness

Zenos returned Yuki's look of desperation with a vacant stare of his own, seemingly unmoved by her show of character, though this wasn't totally true. He seemed wholly unperturbed by Tomomi's appearance and abrupt change into some man he had never seen before. Perhaps he was part of a new race the Sephira knew nothing of, or perhaps he was just a Shinigami with extraordinary talents. Zenos leaned more towards the former since the man felt nothing like a Shinigami and certainly not like one of his kind. His Pesquisa fanned out and he found something radiating around Dolor, it was there yet somehow not. While he was using his Pesquisa to determine what exactly it was that was there, he caught the feeling of the two Kidō closing in on Dolor, and then the alteration of the first, which was then sent towards Yuki. Though he remained expressionless and visibly not bothered, he made his move. He was suddenly gone from his seat, vanishing solidly with no sound and appearing solidly with a low static sound just in front of Yuki. His finger was raised and pointed at the oncoming, invisible attack. His skin had taken a metallic hue and by the time he had reappeared, a heavy Reiatsu was dropping down on the area, putting significant strain on the environment, even causing tree limbs to touch the ground due to the sheer force generated by his silent release.

Concentrating his vast Reiryoku into his index finger, he began to force a jet-black Cero to form at it's tip. Zenos looked uncaring and distant, even though the shot was a mere foot from his finger. Just as the shot was mere inches from his finger, the Cero expanded widening as it released an immense black wave of dark Reiryoku that turned any exposed light into absolute pitch darkness, which included the Kidō itself. The Cero Oscuras would instantly overpower the Kidō and wash itself over Dolor within a second. The direction of the Cero would carry it past Hei's grave, it wasn't even the right direction to begin with since Yuki hadn't ended up behind Dolor, just far away from him. If anything was in danger, it was the Shinigami that stood around Dolor, and of course those two mundanes that were probably Yuki's mother and father. He cared little about this fact though, they would have to take care of themselves, he had only to save Yuki herself and no one else. Normally one might find it strange that an Arrancar would save a Shinigami, but they had a certain history, so her felt that he owed her at least one; not to mention she had stuck up for him in a loose sense only a few moments prior. For this reason, he stood solidly, pocketed his hands, and kept his body between Dolor and Yuki. While he had no intention of lifting a finger to go on the offense with this guy, he would at the very least, prevent Yuki from being harmed.

...and thus the world is petrified.

Elisia glanced briefly at Kato as he unleashed a Kido. Well, that would help a little bit but this was dangerous with so many people around at once. Her mind went back to when she had participated in the training with Hei, since there had been many people there too. That had been literally disastrous, especially since he had effectively turned them against each other and barely had to do anything while watching them fall. Her eyes shot a quick glance at their enemy, whom Hibiki had called Dolor. If he could somehow mimic people’s appearances, then they’d have a massive problem on their hands, due to the fact that they would have a hard time telling one person from another. Hibiki seemed ready to fight too, and this might be a potential problem so near to Hei’s casket. Maybe it might be better if they made sure to be careful around each other and especially around Hei’s tomb. Elisia growled slightly as some of Dolor’s ear wax was flung into Hei’s tomb. This was really irritating her, to say the very least, to see their enemy…insult a person that he had killed. “By the way, if you hadn’t realized, this dead guy was a person that you killed,” she snapped at him as the sphere took form around her.

He seemed to have a healing capacity it seemed, since he had apparently not warded off Yuki’s attack, from what she saw, and the movement would have effectively killed him if he had not healed on the go. Well, she’d have to be careful around him, since they had basically only one healer and a half-healer around, so if she was taken out, that wouldn’t be good. Since the others were more adept at offensive than she was, maybe it was better to stay on the defensive. A flicker out of the side of her eye surprised her a little and she turned her head around to see that Arrancar was in front of Yuki. Oh. Dolor must have attempted an attack or something like that on her for that Arrancar to have moved like that. As the heavy Reiatsu dropped on the area, she released some of her own, only using just enough for her to feel relatively normal. She glared at him, wondering what the hell he was thinking, since while the Shinigami could most likely fend the attacks off, they had a problem since Yuki’s parents were here and they were definitely not exactly suited to battling. Uh-oh. Noticing the Cero Oscuras forming at the tip of the Arrancar’s index finger, she cursed under her breath. Crap. From what she could tell, it was headed directly towards Dolor, but would most likely miss Hei’s tomb. She threw an anxious glance at Yuki’s mother and father and without hesitating, she quickly put her zanpakuto back in its sheath and used shunpo to grab them both. Another shunpo put them into a hopefully safe area, right behind Hei’s tomb, the other side of the tomb from where Dolor was. She ducked down, gesturing at them to do the same. Damn it. This was going to be bad. Glancing at Yuki to tell her that her parents were alright, she desperately hoped that the other Shinigami had managed to get away. Unfortunately, she couldn’t be able to save everyone or else she’d get caught in that Cero. Waiting quietly for the Cero to pass, she told Yuki’s parents, “Sorry about you being caught in the middle of a battle. Just stay here and I’ll look after you.” When the Cero had passed, she stood up, desperately searching to see whether or not the other Shinigami had managed to escape the attack. Sliding her zanpakuto from her sheath, she hoped that there wouldn’t be too many people injured.

Nu seemed to be fine, which was odd considering she was almost hit by a very high leveled kido. Opening an eye, she assessed she was on the ground, a clone of Kato apparently pushed her out of the way. The man in question, in combination, insulted hei's funeral, as well as gave her enough reason to kill him; he had laid a hand on her commander. Getting up quickly enough, she used a shunpo to evade a rather large cero at the last second, fleeting glances to see the arrancar actually defending Yuki from Dolor's attack. She didn't have the time to check up on the backgrounds of Yuki's past to know the reason for this, but it hardly made a difference now. She found herself a few feet by Elisa and Hei's parents as the cero came and passed, the attack pitch black, making it rather difficult to see Dolor until the dust settled.

"Waga yaiba to narite teki o tsuranuke" Her unsheathed glowed white, the heat melting the blade within the sheath, until she drew her sword, a jewel encrusted rapier in its stead. "He walks in our society in a sacred time, disrespects it, as well as mocking Tomomi, this man shall not go unscathed...." Her eyes were scanning for any caught in the blast. The captains she didn't have to worry about, but there could have been those not so lucky.

"Oi Lee! Hibiki! Kato! The hell are you guys?!"

Jūnibantai Taichō

A drastic change came over Tsukiko as Dolor appeared disguised as Tomomi. It wasn't hard to figure out who it was after all; she had planned this in the beginning. Getting Dolor to come to the funeral of the man he had killed was like drawing moth to a flame. All too easy. Her mother had gone after him as well as several others, all to no avail. he had stopped these easily and dropped his false figure. Dolor attempted to toss some ear wax onto Hei's grave, but it was suddenly knocked to the side by a tremendous invisible force. The force alone caused the ear wax itself to slice through a sakura tree in it's path, cutting clean through the entire thing as though it had been a blade. A flick of her wrist later and Dolor would find himself smashed up against Sōkyōku Hill, unless of course he had the ability to dodge invisible, highly-pressurized gravity fields. "Keep staring, maybe I'll do a trick, you pathetic excuse for a man. You go ahead and try to piss on my father's grave. I dare you. I'll let you learn the pain of having your bladder distended from gravity force and having your urine surrounded with anti-gravitons, stopping it from ever being flushed from your system. Imagine the continuous build up in your bladder, never to be released until it ruptures or comes back out your mouth and I mean in the form of piss, not vomit. It's either that or just stop drinking. Oh, but I guess a living sack of skin like yourself needs such sustenance."

Tilting her head to the side, she put on an expression meant to mock the pain that such a thing would bring. "So sad. Yes, you can distort your body, but I have ways of stopping that. Keeping talking s**t you little b***h, we'll see where it ends." She had stopped crying, she no longer looked shaken, and in fact she looked incredibly at peace with the fact that her father lay dead behind her and there was an intense ferocity flowing from her entire being. "If everyone would please leave this to me... I understand the desire to hurt him after he's disrespected both Hei and Tomomi, but frankly your abilities are all utterly useless in this situation, I'm afraid." She said as several spherical gravitational barriers erupted out of nowhere, covering the grave and the trees for protection. A cloud of red smoke would erupt in Dolor's face as she used Sekienton and three fang-like beams of light would aim to bury themselves in his body after she drew the Shitotsu Sansen's triangle and cast it. It seemed like a paltry move at best, especially after seeing Dolor distort Kidō, but she was far from done.

Clapping her hands together, she began her double incantation. "Carriage of Thunder. Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Bridge of a spinning wheel. Standing upright, silent to the end! With light, divide this into six! Bakudō no Rokujūichi: Rikujōkōrō, Bakudō no Nanajūgo: Gochūtekkan!" Just after six thin but wide beams of light went towards Dolor's midsection, five incredibly tall and thick irons pillars dropped onto Dolor from the heavens. As this was happening, Tsukiko was already on the move. With no struggle, with no falter, and with certainly no hesitation, the girl vanished from her spot arriving just outside the reach of Dolor's sphere; she knew it well as she had seen the edge only once, but that was enough to calculate the distance between it's edge and Dolor's body. Once she was close enough, she raised her hands, left palm over her right, pointing them at Dolor.

Her CPU quickly altered her words relayed per minute and she spoke a quadrupled incantation incredibly fast. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Ye lord! Limit of the thousand hands, sacred hands of unreachable darkness, shooting hands of the invisible sky. Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! A path that drops light, wind that stirs up embers, do not hesitate to gather, look at my fingers. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. Light bullets, eight bodes, nine articles, tome of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, gray turret. When day breaks, the coffin blots out the sun. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Aim your bow faraway and disappear brightly. Surround, pierce, and take my enemy out! Hadō no Nanajūsan: Sōren Sōkatsui, Hadō no Rokujūsan: Raikōhō, Hadō no Kyūjūichi: Senjū Kōten Taihō, Hadō no Kyūjū: Kurohitsugi!" In the span of seven seconds, all of this was forced out such that only those with quick hearing would catch everything she had said, and to others, it was like she was saying some kind of gibberish incredibly fast.

Light, blue fire, and yellow energy all erupted from her palms at once and shot towards Dolor and despite the fact like they had been seemingly cast without incantation, they were still fully powered and quick to boot. At the last second as they were to hit, a black box was to form around the Exaequare and stab him with multiple energy spears. Just as the Kidō left her palms she quickly moved her hands to the white collar she had been wearing and promptly removed it. The collar broke apart, dissipating into the air leaving a katana with purple tsuka-ito in her hand. She suddenly vanished from sight as she cast a wordless Kyakkō around her body, not to hide her position, but to hide the appearance of a tan cloak that appeared on her body as a symbol that she had silently entered Bankai. Her Reiatsu was already low enough that Bankai release would hardly alert anyone with increase in Reiatsu, especially not since her Reaitsu was already rapidly fluctuating with the many Kidō she was throwing out left and right. And the most genius part of all was that the Kidō were no more than a distraction for her true objective; his capture. By luring him into thinking that she thought Kidō would be effective, she lead him away from the real threat he should have been worried about. It was a well thought out distraction to boot, since she had strung multiple high-level Hadō and Bakudō together all at once and given the image that she was on the full offensive. Simply put, that was not something someone would normally waste on a distraction.

Still hidden, she clapped her hands together once more, her katana becoming embedded in the ground, and used several other Kido. This time, however, even though it would go unnoticed, she dropped the Bakudō no from the names on purpose, hiding a Bankai technique's name within the multiple castings. "Kuyō Shibari, Taichi Sōji Tama, Kin, Shiryuu, Bankin Taihō!" Her next line up, a black hole was to appear in the middle of his chest as eight others appear in a concentric circle around the first. Her Bankai went into effect at this instant; the inner sphere of Taichi Sōji Tama wrapped itself around her body and created a constant repulsion. Before the outer sphere could turn on, she moved inside Dolor's sphere just as the spiritual fabric and bolts were to bind his arms behind him and spiritual bandages materialized out of thin air and covered him from head to toe and the giant metal box fell on top of him. Her outer sphere activated, expanding far out from Tsukiko herself and Dolor. It created a repulsion field as well, but pushed inside, trapping Dolor inside the two repelling fields. Though she was down to about half her Reiryoku from so using so many Kidō, Tsukiko did not show it and instead stared Dolor down with determination in her eyes as she waited to see how he would react to all of this. She didn't know if he could read minds, but if he tried to retrieve her thoughts, he would suffer from a huge mental rebound as the machine that Hei had put in her head would copy his mental pattern, scramble it, then turn it back on him five-fold in a manner of seconds while preventing further intrusion by the mind-reader. Now she fell silent, hoping beyond all hope someone had the sense to figure her plan out to even the smallest degree and use the outer sphere's inward repulsion to launch attack after attack at Dolor to keep him busy while she carried out the remainder of her plan to capture him.

[In case you're wondering, that quadrupled incantation took me 32.27 seconds to say out loud, where reading it took 21.02 seconds. Don't be confused by reading speed; saying that in seven seconds is very fast! >_<]

⋆⋆⋆ELISIA xRIYU
squadxfourxCAPTAIN

Elisia simply stared, literally stunned and shocked by the sheer amount of power that Tsukiko was displaying. Gritting her teeth together, she watched helplessly as Tsukiko launched Kidō after Kidō at Dolor. What to do? She cast an anxious glance at Dolor, wondering what Tsukiko was up to. Attempting to sort through Tsukiko’s words, she didn’t know what to do at first, until she finally grasped something that Tsukiko had said. Oh. That made a little more sense. But how was she going to achieve that? Blasting Kidō spells at him, while it would injure him and hit him quite a lot, would be simply a waste of energy to attempt to stop him from distorting his body. Unless, of course…she forced her mind not to think of that, instead compelling herself to think of other things – like whether Tsukiko would be alright and whether the other Captains got out safely. However, she was scrambling her thoughts too, not sure how to figure out what she was meaning to do. Glancing at Yuki’s mother and father, she pulled an apologetic look. While she wanted to stay and defend, there was this…idea inside her mind that Tsukiko was probably not attacking Dolor with the intention to kill him, but rather…stop him from distorting for one reason or another? She didn’t fully understand what Tsukiko was getting at or attempting to do, but if Tsukiko had to keep this Kidō and attacks up for much longer, Tsukiko would literally run out of energy.

“Just stay here, I need to help Tsukiko,” she mumbled under her breath as she stood up, running away from Hei’s tomb. As she passed Nu, who was rather close to her now, she whispered to Nu, “I know Tsukiko said to not join in, but I think she needs help. If she’s going to last much longer on the battlefield, she’s going to need some support.” Stopping at a relatively safe distance from Hei’s tomb, she sincerely hoped that she wouldn’t accidentally hit Hei’s tomb or hurt somebody else. Her eyelids shut, as she muttered, “Take flight, Huang…” under her breath. The zanpakuto, which she clutched in her hands, turned into a bow and she carefully made sure not to release all of her Reiatsu, as it would simply affect the others around her. Clenching her fist, she dragged out all the emotional pain that she could take from people – all the pain and anger from seeing the fact that Dolor had taken Tomomi’s form and also the general pain that people felt from losing Hei. She ripped it away from the people rather violently, as she needed it and thus, the others might feel as if all their pain had just simply disappeared into thin air and they might feel a little strange. Her bow morphed once more into her most powerful form – her gun. Opening her eyes, she looked in the direction of where Dolor’s figure was able to be seen, her eyes narrowing and focusing on him.

Carefully balancing her gun, she launched seven fiery cannonballs, before stopping and holding her gun in her hands once more. Her gun shattered into a million pieces before fading into nothingness. It was going to be useless now, since she was intending to use some of her Kidō, like Tsukiko was doing. Maybe it might be better if she did completely different spells, since it might have more of an effect and especially choosing those that she had an advantage on. Focusing on Dolor again, she yelled out, “Hadō #30: Ōkasen! Hadō #58: Tenran! Hadō #33: Sōkatsui!” Going down several levels in her Shikai, two flaming circular swords or blades, as one might chose to call it, appeared, one in each hand. Swinging her body around, she threw them towards Dolor, much like a person might throw a discus or a shotput. Waiting to see what would happened, she sighed slightly, a little worried. Hopefully that would make a dent, however slight it would be, on Dolor’s advances or whatever he was thinking. If everything went well, maybe the others might join in and help a little, since she had a feeling that this was not entirely over yet and to be extremely blunt, she was not exactly the best person here that could exactly help be on the offensive.

Tetsunosuke ignored the punch to his arm. It felt it, but he didn't feel like retorting to it. It seemed like a waste of energy at the time. He gaze was locked onto Dolor as he manipulated the Kidō spells that were thrown at him but the two Captains he just yelled at previous. That's why he was mad at them, they did ignorant moves with out thinking first, it seemed. Now, Dolor was forced these spells straight at Yuki, which he wouldn't intervene in. He knew that either Tsukiko or either some other captain would cover her. But it appeared like the least likely person would do some. His eyes widened with surprise as he watched the Arrancar stood in front of her and charged up a Cero blast. The blast seemed so powerful from where he was standing. He ignored Nibantai Taichō, though, he agreed with her about disrespecting Tomomi, that really ticked him off, which reminded him of his anger.

Tetsunosuke was still out of the reach of the black colored Cero as it rang through the area. He watched on though from the side lines as Tsukiko seemed to drop her depressed emotions and dawned a fighting flare. 'Odd...' He thought to himself with Sakuzen Kosshi perched on his right shoulder. He watched as she threw her attacks at him, all were powerful and all of them were of captain tier. A bead of sweat pour from his brow as she started her incantations with tremendous speed of speech. Tetsunosuke felt relieved he didn't go up against her for Bankai training. Tetsunosuke watched as Elisia moved next. He knew she would use her Zanpakuto to attack Dolor. He watched on as she finished up right after Tsukiko.

Tetsu wasn't honestly in the mood to fight, due to his only white pair of Shihakushō. Tetsunosuke ruffled his hair with his left hand and sighed at the thought actually having fight, plus, this Arrancar was here protecting Yuki; which was also indifferent. A long spiky bone putrid from the ground straight in front of Tetsunosuke; the height of it came to about his waist. "Shame... I'll have to ignore her plea, since this guy ticked me off by mocking my Taichō." Tetsunosuke said.

Then, a pulse of Tetsu's reiryoku shot through the ground, pencil sized bones suddenly shot forth from the ground under Dolor -about a three-thousand-, all of them would pierce him through his feet and work their way up his body until they reached out of his body, the bones would also hold Dolor in place. Tetsunosuke started rambling off an incantation in a quick manner. "Hadō number eleven: Tsuzuri Raiden!" He shout, right when he finished saying the name of the Kidō, he had grabbed hold of the bone that was in the ground in front of him. This bone in front him was rooted underneath the ground, connected to each of the bones that was penetrating through Dolor; the surge of electricity that came from his left hand would travel through each bone. Frying the douche. Tetsunosuke picked up his Zanpakuto, pointing it straight at Dolor. He concentrated a lot of Reiryoku, his azure blue eyes were brimming with energy as he was honing to bring more pain. Ninety volleys of three foot long tapered sharp at the ends, were sent toward Dolor, the repulsion field would allow them through as they would skewer him.

Hyagato had had enough of watching and waiting for something to happen. He'd arrived early for once, but the second he'd noticed the arrancar, he'd hidden himself until he knew what was going on. And now it was clear. The b*****d who'd murdered Hei was here to spite the shinigami further. If it weren't for the fact that he'd have probably done something similar, Gato would have been livid. As it was, he was just pissed. How dare the abomination show themselves here? Had they no shame? Oh well. Gato was going to show them what it ment to trifle with the seireite. His eyes crackled with the static energy that he'd stored in his body. There was far more than usual due to that little stint in which Ibara had manifested without him. He was prepared for what they could throw at him and he could damn well throw his own right back.
"Rub them wrong Ibara!"
His voice took on a strange layered tone as he said it, holding his crucifix to his drawn sword, in a flash, the shikai form of his zanpakuto replaced the simple katana in his grasp. Then Hyagato stepped out from his cover atop the cliff. Form this vantage point, he could see everything that was going on below and with this much power flowing through his body, he could keep track of it all as well.
"Now Ibara. Let's see what our favorite little b*****d has to say about some good old fassioned static energy hitting them between the eyes."
Gato took aim, focusing a small, but violent amount of energy into his left hand. When he'd charged up more than enough to at least sting the fool who'd invaded their sacred rituals.
"Za Shokka!"
His voice displaying more of the strange layering effect it had before, he fired the bolt of static energy from the space between his middle and pinky fingers right at the unsuspecting target of his ire which just happened to be the target of the first division lieutenant's wrath as well. Before even making sure his strike had made contact, Gato was moving again. It wouldn't do the shinigami any good to be discovered before he wanted to be.

Tadashi stood back and watched as Tsukiko and a few of the others unleashed their attacks on the enemy. With some surprise, he also saw Elisia begin to fight as well - he'd always assumed she preferred not to, despite having once been a Captain.

He saw little point in even trying to help, but released his zanpakuto anyway. He'd just look for an opening to either use his Kage Ketsugo or cast a Kido.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪

Clutching Rei tightly, Yuki gritted her teeth as Dolor came out of her flawless assassination with no damage and changed her expression to one of general fear as she felt the rapidly approaching Senjū Kōten Taihō. Just as she felt the hopelessness of being unable to save even herself from such an attack, Zenos placed himself between her and the Kidō and turned it back on Dolor, but not before giving her a fright by not releasing the Cero Oscuras until the very last second. Yuki reached out a hand to touch Zenos and thank him, but was distracted by Tsukiko's sudden in change in demeanor and subsequent attack on Dolor. Retracting her hand quickly, Yuki looked on in awe as Tsukiko fearlessly carried out her assault, essentially backing the Exaequare into a corner. She couldn't help but feel completely useless at this point. Hei was gone, and there was no way she could help out without his help. "Dammit, Rei. This isn't fair... I'm tired of relying on Hei. I'm tired of growing young every time I use you. I'm tired of going through all of my days knowing I'll be watching all of my friends die before I do." Even though she was fully aware of the fact that this was all she had been doing for a while now, Yuki sunk to the ground and pulled her knees towards her chest, putting her fingers to her forehead, hiding her face from the rest of the world behind her legs. "It's bad enough I lost Hei, but now I'm going to lose everything else now too. All because of this stupid curse. This piece of s**t rebound for using a power that's not even useful anymore. I can't even protect Tsukiko... I couldn't even save Hei... Rei... what have I done to deserve this? I just want to protect my little girl!" Her consciouness suddenly went blank and she was sent into her spirit world which was a snowy forest with a river of blood cutting through it. Yuki herself didn't seem to notice this, not even when she was buffeted by freezing winds.

Through her tears that were now cascading to the ground, she hardly noticed when a voluptuous woman with seven fox tails coming out of her backside and fox ears perched atop her head walked towards her, becoming more and more visibly apparent with each step. This woman stopped in front of Yuki and tucked her fingers under Yuki's chin, taking one of her hands in her right as she pulled the former Captain to her feet with a smile set upon her face, one that bore her front fangs for her mistress to see. "Mi'lady." She began, taking Yuki's face into her long nailed fingers as Yuki's eyes popped open with a look of confusion and surprise. Rei's lips met Yuki's before Yuki could spit out the first syllable of her name, the act alone alone causing electricity to run all through her body and for her to turn red in the cheeks and forehead as she attempted to push the spirit away, but to no avail as the spirit proved to be physically stronger than the weakened Yuki. A few seconds passed and Rei released her mistresses' lips, drawing herself back in the process and licking her lips as if to savor the taste.

"Did that work? Are you still being totally neurotic?" A comment to which a beet-red Yuki could only reply to with an agape mouth and a sputtering of nonsense words. "Thought so... Yuki-sama, it is not what you did, but what you didn't do. All this time and you've always relied on Hei to fix all of your problems. I can understand that, mistress, I really can; he's certainly not someone to fail. But mistress... you were so dependent on him that you were never able to allow yourself to be the one he depended on, at least not in the sense that I'm referring to anyway. Yuki-sama... Finally, after all these years, you express the desire to protect and not be protected and that, my mistress, is a big step forward." Yuki held up a fnger to speak, as though she was intending to interject something; her mouth flew open, but no words came out. Rei was absolutely right; she had always hidden behind Hei's power, but just never made it look that way. I'm a coward, she thought to herself. Touching Yuki's chin with the tips of her nails, Rei shook her head. "You are not. You just needed a push in the right direction. I told you, mistress, that the curse may be linked to my tails. Well, its very true, and it just so happens that on this day, they day that you decide to bury your brother, that I turn exactly 800 years old." Blinking, Yuki stared into Rei's eyes and frowned just before letting out a long "Ehhhhh?" Frankly, Yuki was very confused considering she was only 850 years old and Rei had only manifested herself within her soul 364 years after her birth, thus making the spirit 486 years old. Chuckling, the spirit gently pulled her nails against Yuki's chin as she stepped back. "Yuki-sama, I am older than you may think, I was not born when you found out about me. Sometime before, I suspect."

Smiling, Rei let off a crimson Reiatsu that fluctuated around her body as one of her seven tails divided into two, making a total of eight tails sticking out of her backside. Yuki went rigid as this occurred, it was quite an obvious reaction since her body was being flooded with more Reiryoku than it ever had inside it before. Her tanto shifted form, reverting to it's sealed state, which was the shape of a standard katana with an ornate tsuba that looks like the eye of a kitsune if viewed from the top where the blade itself represents the slitted pupil. As the Reiryoku flow began to stabilize, Yuki could be seen easing out of her mild paralysis and breathing heavily which was quick to regulate itself. "Mistress. I apologize from keeping this from you, but it was up to you make this choice on your own, not have someone else point it out to you. I have obtained this eighth tail and no longer require so much energy from you." Blinking, Yuki looked at her katana and then back at Rei. "The fact that I can keep my katana sealed and still not feel discomfort means that I can control it... Does this mean I don't have to worry about growing younger? What about aging?! Will I be able to grow older finally?" Yuki had a bit of urgency in her voice, eagerness was also present as she was very adamant about being able to grow older. Originally it was just so she could die of old age with Hei, but since he was gone, she only wanted to grow older with her friends and be able to finally pass on when the time was right. Rei's eyes slid shut and she shook her head, just before extending her fist and flicking her fingers out at Yuki's face. Yuki suddenly found herself staring at Zenos' back as a voice rang out in her head. "Sorry mistress. You will no longer grow older, but you will stay this old until I reach nine hundred years of age. Still, you should find that your abilities are more powerful and that several techniques that were once lost to you are now available. I'll teach you them later." As her voice faded, Yuki cast a look to the ground and her gaze slid over to the katana in her hand. "Nothing I do can affect Dolor, but I can at least distract the hell out of him..." Rising to her feet, she tapped Zenos on the shoulder and planted a kiss on his cheek, walking away the second her lips parted from his cheek and not bothering to listen for a response. "Thank you, Zenos-kun."

As Yuki walked towards where Dolor was located, she extended her right arm, holding her katana away from her body, the kissaki pointed at the ground at an angle. In the blink of an eye, Yuki solidly appeared on the opposite side of the gravity sphere on her left knee with her right extended, just as a rising column of wind littered with sakura petals erupted from below the Exaequare. The petals within were augmented with the wind and would rip the trapped opponent to shreds. "Tsukiyo Sakurabana!" Pushing off the ground with her left hand, Yuki jumped, vanished and reappeared a foot away, facing Dolor. Flipping her katana, she angeled it so the kissaki was pointing at the ground, Yuki parted her lips and spoke her release command. No longer fearing the fate of the trees and the grave, Yuki could release this within the vicinity. "Nagarederu..." The katana shifted form, altering it's appearance to become a black tanto, just as a massive Reiatsu cascaded down from the heavens, though not upon her parents as she projected her Reiatsu diversion onto them. Buildings that lay several hundred feet away simply collapsed under such weight throwing dust into the air. This new Reiatsu she was letting out was stronger than Hei's even, and was comparable to the Captain Commander's by sheer amount and pressure. A crimson Reiatsu danced across her body, her hair dancing madly in the air and stirring up a fair amount of ground as it raced about. "Rei Nagare." Lowering her tanto, Yuki's left hand came up and black ice began to materialize within the outer sphere, covering the entire sphere with a blizzard of black ice which would easily drop the temperature inside to 32°F and cause a whiteout which would reduce Dolor's visibility to near zero. She wasn't worried about Tsukiko since she knew she could survive such temperatures and knew that she could still see in such situations. Staring the contained blizzard down, she watched carefully, no longer plagued by her brother's death. Her head was clear now and for the first time in a week she could think clearly.

[TLDR prior to the last paragraph: Rei grew an extra tail, Yuki won't get younger any more, and now she's progressively growing stronger and can finally seal her Zanpakutō.]
