The Raichu couldnt help but smirk at the Pokemon in front of him.
He figured as much. Looks like he pissed some of these kids off.
Ground type of course, a dragon and two electric type.
Big surprise.
He lifted a paw, cigarette still in his mouth and unhooked the strap of his cape. The fabric fell behind him and he kicked it aside.
"No rules, no restrictions. Fight to kill or you dont stand a chance. Lets start things simple."
He raised that same paw that had unhooked his cape and snapped his fingers, envoking his Rain Dance and the sky, or at least their section, opened up in a god-fearing flood.
He waited then, still puffing on his cigarette.
Lets see what they did now. He'd finish his combo afterwards.
   
Jazz---Sleet---Fire---Nyte
Jazz grinned at his friend before eyes fell back on the Raichu. Did he really think he had a chance against ALL OF them?
Those ground type would do some damage and even the Pikachu knew a ground move!
This would be easy.
To Larwn he laughed. "I'm not going first."
As the fights began Sleet hung back, she wasnt attacking first either, mostly from pure terror.
The tiny Vulpix shook in fear.
"DEATH FROM BELOW!" Once she realized they could start, Fire leapt back and fired an Ember at Mugen's face.
As his mercenary had vanished, Nyte frowned and lay there waiting.
[ERM, Checks isnt here so anyone fighting Zaru or Jonah is out of luck. Sorry. Just sneak into a fight with another Merc if you so desire.]

(I have to leave by 10, so this is likely my last post for the day: sorry.) Incultyr stood his ground as the Raichu began by summoning rain. The water came pouring down and drenching the rock-typed Larvitar. It was a disadvantage, that's for sure. Now this simply just won't do.
Incultyr summoned his own powers, calling upon an innate ability of his evolutionary line. Sandstorm.
The wind and the dirt and the sand all picked up, swirling around their area of the arena. While he understood that he needed to work in concert with the other recruits, he really didn't give a damn enough. As far as he knows, only two of them will have trouble in a sandstorm anyways.
As he raised his sandstorm, fighting it with the rain, he managed to find enough concentration to gather a ball of dark energy. He hurled the dark pulse at the Raichu.(Eh, feel free to decide if Ink actually manages to cancel out the rain dance with sandstorm or not) Morana watched in horror as the Weavile triggered a localized earthquake. With a yelp, Morana tripped as the ground beneath her heaved. The soil flew up and pelted at her, getting into her fur, stinging her eyes.
The houndour tried to get up, but fell again, this time toppling forward, right in front of the Weavile.
Without thinking, she tried to clamp her mouth down on Lucy's leg and summoned fire into her mouth.Altus nodded at the Minum that had joined him before he turned to face Truth. With another quick bow out of courtesy, he relaxed into a defensive position.
No need to rush before he even knew what his opponent was like.

"Gah!" Mugen let out a gasp as flames were suddenly hurling towards his face; quickly snapping his wrist upwards in reaction, his blade swinging up with it, creating a barrier between the tongues of fire and his skin."Sly little bi-.." He was cut off mid cussing at the Eevee as he felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck. A few icicle-like objects now dug into his rough reptilian hide. The Sceptile let out an angry grunt after the barrage of attacks and slammed a fist into the ground. His knuckles growing green with sheer energy. Just then tree trunks shot up from the ground along with a variety of vines making a tangled flora mess around the combatants. He had used Frenzy Plant to make a literal jungle environment around them all, hopefully giving himself some distance away from those pesky little buggers in the process too.

Unable to get in on the action at first like the others did, Kewnew had to wait out the leafy attack before she found herself well hidden among the wooded area and in her best fighting environment. For the time being she stayed concealed in the brush and waited for the best moment to attack.
Grim couldn't help but stare in confusion at the Lucario. Even after all the other battles around them had started off pretty heated, he just kinda stood there... Shaking off the paranoia from the situation he started off with a Will-o-Wisp attack, sending eerie blue flames spiraling at the part steel type.

Great, Manipulating the weather. . . What a fun battle this will be. . . He knew that he's at a disadvantage, however that's not going to stop him from kicking some merc a**. Looking at the starting move, he began to feel a massive earthquake began to rumble in the field, Urk, what a way to start a battle, as his starting move, he planted his sword on the ground as a circle was formed around him and the sword; utilizing the move ancient power he kept the area he's in steady until the earthquake passed, but he couldn't hold it for too long.
If he's not going first then who is? Me? I guess. . . Larwn looked up and noticed that rain is falling down. Rain? this is not going to bode well. . . Nonetheless he stood by,
"Well, let's get this over with. . ." Molly, started off using Razor leaf at Mugen, at some point in the battle she'll have to mix things up a bit.

      Hiku--- Tetsu---Denki--- Doutai--- Yuki--- ChibiHiku ran around in circles around Truth in an attempt to confuse it. He attacked from the side with his ice katan and continued his dash. Tetsu was caught completely off guard and ended up falling flat on his face. He charged at Lucy and attempted to hit her with an Iron head from behind. Denki decided to charge at Floranda and fake her out with his katana. Then he jumped back and used thunder on her. Yuki shot an ice beam a little bit behind the sceptile in an attempt to restrict the sceptile's movement. Doutai immediately used an earthquake in an attempt to catch Jasper off-guard. If anything it would open a possibility fo rothers to get a good attack.Chibi mumbled, "Uh... h-hi..." Chibi started the battle by using a metronome which ended up with a shadow ball being launched at Olivia.

An instant attack! How...terribly boring. Sighing, Olivia took the hit, which lifted her up into the air. As she fell back down she tossed out stored Leech Seeds at Chibi and quickly put up a Substitute.
Zen & Vertigo
Yeah, he was right. There were WAY too many Pokemon here. Knocked over by the Earthquake, Vert shouted out "Watch it!" before hopping back up and throwing a Sleep Powder at Jasper, being extremely careful not to hit any of his allies. Hopefully with all the attacks, it wouldn't be noticed until it was too late.
...And then his mercenary left. Pouting, Zen crossed his arms.

Alright lets see what these kids could do.
The Larvitar had the smart idea, attempting to stop his Rain Dance, but the Raichu wouldnt have it and instead kept his up causing it to rain and a sandstorm to rage at the same time.
At least the water softened the sand so it did little damage to his electric type.
At the two dark attacks coming at him the Raichu swung around; tail lashing out like a bat and he swatted the attacks right back at their owners.
Next then.
Oh, an Earthquake.
At least the Phanpy had some sense to go straight for his weak point, not that it would work.
Kicking in a Magnet Rise the Raichu rose over the ground move before lashing out with his own.
He raised both paws, gray weather ball spheres forming in them until they rippled and shifted into a water type. He chucked these out at the small Pokemon in a barrage of attacks.
This was becoming tedi-his eyelid suddenly felt heavy and he shook his head.
Damn, forgot the Bulbasaur. Sneaky little s**t.
The Raichu broke into an Aqua Jet to wash away the Sleep Powder, and then shifted into a Volt Tackle as he lunged at Vert.
Jazz---Sleet---Fire---Nyte
Jazz frowned, dodging the Weather Balls and slung himself at the ground in a DIG, attempting to attack the Raichu from below, but he didnt take into account the other Pokemon knowing Earthquake as well.
Um.....Owch?
"Hey! Be Careful!" The Pikachu's head popped out from under ground to shout at the Phanpy.
Werent they all on the same team?
Sleet yelped in alarm at the ground rumbling and whimpered loudly before striking out with a Will-O-Wisp, the small flames dancing around Lucy and attempting to burn her.
"COME OUT AND FACE ME LIKE A MAN!" Fire screamed into the leafy obstruction and tore at it with a Bite, trying to get to Mugen.
Nyte is being lazy. [XD]

  Leon & LucyAs the Will-o-Wisp came at Leon, the Lucario suddenly vanished from sight.
"Be on the look out for traps," A voice behind Grim said.
Leon then fired a Dragon Pulse from behind the Sableye.
As Lucy found herself under a barrage of attacks, she jumped gracefully into the air.
This wasn't just a maneuver, but it was part of a move as well.
As she came to the ground, she twirled beautifully.
This was her Dragon Dance.
In a flash, she was in front of Czar, swinging her claws at him with a Faint Attack.   Vira & Leslie & JessicaThe Weavile grinned at her successful hit.
The Frenzy Plant that came after, though, was not as pleasing.
She swung around, clawing her way out.
"Woah, woah! Watch it!" Leslie roared as he felt the effects of the Earthquake.
Leslie then had an idea.
After that Aqua Jet, the Raichu was bound to be wet!
He fired a Thunderbolt at Jasper
Jessica watched the other fights.

  Truth xxxxxxxx FlorandraTruth smiled demurely at her students as if his was nothing more than a nice day to hang out. "Try not to get too cocky." she purred watching as a Minun began to run circles around her. Closing her eyes, she stood in place before suddenly stepping back seconds before the katana could hit. Without even using any attack, she then bat swift at the brats exposed back with her paw. Florandra stood like a giant pillar, hardly breathing as she listened to the sounds around her. The Thunder hit but hardy appeared to do anything. Instead, she opened her beak and released an ear-piercing Metal Sound.  Auron Auron had been a bit late and therefore needed to find a new mentor.
Seeing a masked Lucario, he took a slow shuddering breath and hesitently walked into the fight.
"H-hey. Y-you mind if I joiyou guys?" he asked as if Pokemon WEREN'T trying to kill each other.

( ninja One more post won't kill me I guess) Altus watched as the Minum attack at the Persian with a sword. A sword!
Deciding that if the other Pokemon had already gone in and attacked, he should help as well. Running forward and being careful not to leave too many openings, Altus tried to run quickly by the Persian, just to get a minor hit in to test the reaction of his opponent.Incultyr growled as he tried to force his sandstorm more, but the Raichu was too tough. The two of them made more of a mudstorm than anything else. He tried to decide between trying to hold his sandstorm and actually attacking, but that thought process as cut short as his own dark pulse flew back at him.
He grimaced and stood his ground. Larvitar's weren't known for speed, and he wasn't stupid enough to try and dodge it. So he stood exactly where he was, bracing for the attack and focusing on the sandstorm as he tried to decide his next action. It hit him, and with a grunt, he took a step back to try and absorb some of the force.
He had no other ranged attacks than the one Jasper had already deflected. And seeing how many pokemon there were, he really wasn't feeling like shoving the other pokemon out of his way as he tries to fight the Raichu head-on.
So he stood back and- oh beep.
The ground beneath his started to violently shake and heave. An earthquake attack. Even with his low centre-gravity and bracing stance, the Larvitar still fell over. He felt his concentration on his sustained weather move slipping, with but a growl, he grabbed onto it with stubbornness. It wasn't for any practical reason anymore, he saw it as an indirect way he was competing with the mercenary leader, without the interference of others.Morana felt her teeth clamp together with nothing in between as the Weavile jumped up and out of her reach. Scrambling to roll onto her feet now that the earthquake had stopped, she saw the pink weavile lunge at the black charmander.
Morana opened her mouth, the flames still not extinguished from her last attempted attack. Instead, she formed it into a ball, and hurled it as far as she could at the ice-type.

Czar Kaze Molly Zuichi Rita Kaze Lucas Basch Larwn DeschTaking account of the Earthquake, Larwn was able to steady himself during the rumble since he's a ground type. "Guys, there's no time to fight, if we're going to prepare ourselves for the war we'll need to work together." Larwn told them before disappearing into the sand storm. Taking a good look of what's going on in the battle field he spotted Jazz in an attempt to attack Vertigo, rushing towards Vert he reappeared in front of him; ready to block, "Don't worry I'll protect you." He assured; taking the weather ball attack
Czar wasn't paying attention, as the attack hit him, however he wasn't going to give up that easily, upon getting hit with the attack, Czar grabbed his sword upon flying and once getting enough distance, he yelled "Not bad, but I'm just getting started!" as he unleashed a slow moving flame thrower attack that opened up like a fan, afterwads he used aerial ace to dive in the flames; causing his body to be covered in fire as he honed in on the Weavile,
"You Coward!" Molly yelled out to him. "This isn't working right. . . " Molly continued on using Razor leaf to cut any signs of leaves this Merc used.
I'm not going to stand here & watch this, I have other business to attend to. As a result Lucas temporary left the field.

As he was finally in the clear, the Sceptile took a moment to up his abilities with an Agility attack, figuring since he had so many opponents to hit at once he needed to be quick about doing it all simultaneously. Still nothing coming near hitting him, though he was puzzled by the sight of that strange Eevee trying to eat her way through the maze he created, he decided to spice things up a bit. Assuming most of his trainee's were trapped he opened his grin wide and began shooting off Dragon Breath attacks in all different directions. The peculiar blue and yellow flames lighting all the nearby plant life ablaze.

Kewnew let out a squeal as the tree she was hiding safely behind was suddenly on fire. Flushing her out into the open where she was immediately confronted by her evolved form. Doing the only thing she could she swung her fist back and planted an Ice Punch in the abdomen of the unsuspecting grass type.
Grim was easily caught off guard by the ninja-like skills of the opposing Lucario. A sudden swirl of energy known as Dragon Pulse knocking him through the air a few feet before he landed flat on his face. The unsuspected attack hitting him harsh from behind. Recovering though he decided to pull out a few similar tricks of his own. His figure appearing to sink into the ground with a Shadow Sneak attack before reappearing in close range behind the Lucario just as what was done to him.This time in retaliation he fired off a close range Icy Wind attack wanting to kill that speedy advantage his opponent had.

Vert's eyes narrowed as he evaded the sleep attack, but gave a startled cry as the mercenary leader targeted him directly. But instead of being hit with a mild shock, the not-very-effective attack was blocked by a Gabite. "Thanks, but I really don't need it," he said as he sent out a Vine Whip to try and snare Jasper's feet.
He sat there, watching the others.
