I have an idea on how to promote the guild. smile
Sometimes, people open art freebie shops in event forums. We could open one in the Grave Danger forum... say something like "free art sponsored by the cherub and friends guild, [insert guild description]..." Though, that might attract art whores more than artists. xd
Though, some artists are art whores. biggrin

That's a good idea! If you have any friends who have freebie threads open, see if they'll do that!

I'm just kind of sling-shooting the idea out there, but wouldn't it be beneficial to start making connections with other art guilds on Gaia? We could all help improve the artistic community. I think this could gradually work over time. smile

How about a writing subforum? Not all artists are good at drawing.

I've been thinking... That maybe we should have a rules section for the new members to look at. When they join the art guild, if would seem a bit difficult for them to know any rules for the guild. In other words, maybe there should be a thread that lists all the rules as well as the links to other rules. I just thought that it would be a lot easier for them. Not to mention, the members will understand the rules of the guild and will be aware of it.
To be honest, I don't want to be strict, but I noticed that some people aren't aware or care about whatever they do. If they aren't serious about art, then I understand, but sometimes, things goes out of hands. I'll apologize to many of you who have to listen to some of these complaints, but I promise you that regulations is what keeps many things in order. Thank you for listening.

Chatterbox : 3. This way we can talk to members of the guild about random stuff and get to know each other better while spending time in the guild. -shrug-
