Please post your own suggestions for how this guild can improve!!

I was looking at some other, popular guilds and I came up with a few of my own...

1. We could use some flashy graphics on the guild home page. Graphics with art on them.

2. We should sum up what this guild is all about. Make people want to join.

I put together this nice little passage in my guild invitations:

Like collecting avatar art?
Like to draw?

Then this guild is for you!

In this guild we have contests, galleries, art freebies, and MORE!

I hope you will join and participate in the fun! There are contests every month with lots of cool prizes! And the contests are ACTUALLY FUN!

Disclaimer:
There is a practically nonexistent entry fee of 25g.

It doesn't have to be exactly that, but I think something along those lines would be ideal.

3. We should have a list of requirements for people who want to join. Such as a passion for art, and maybe we should have a requirement for how active our members should be. Like maybe a post a month, at least.

4. Make the information on the home page organized. 3nodding

Anyway, we want to get this guild off the ground and onto the front page of Gaia Guilds!!

So recommend this guild to all your friends! Advertise it!

And last but not least, post any suggestions you may have here. We WILL listen to you if you have a point.

Even with the people we have we need to post a few more contests and i agree, make it look more flashier ^.^

yes that will be a good idea i am planning to do a contest at the end of each month.
and i dont know a lot about computers so i am unable to make anything flashy. if someone wanted to make somethiing up for the opening page (that is good and gets attion, and shows what this guild is about ) i will pay them.

i want more people to join and more people to post.

Those are all really good ideas. And although i dont think im the best i could try making something for the guild. Just tell me what your looking for and i'll give it a shot.^^

Someone could at least post a few samples of their art if they don't have a deviantart account.

Welcome to Cherub and Friends Art Guild!
This is a place where artists of all skill-levels can hang out and have fun. Set up a gallery! Comment on others' art work! Get useful critique and tips to improve! You can even set up a mini shop and sell avatar art!
Either myself or one of my crew will host a art contest at the end of each month.
I have also set up a fun dice game for all to play.
This guild is still growing and I would love if you would join. We are always looking forward to seeing new talent and to make new friends, and to get new ideas to help make this guild better.

Well... I would say maybe have a fourm for Posting random works of art so you can get some good feedback for them. (I have a DA account but I don't get as many comments anymore so it gets me kinda down.)

And... Maybe we could host a monthly party in Towns. (I might not be able to be there personnally though my computer's to slow for it.)

And um... Maybe we could also have a 'Happy Birthday' fourm were people go to post that it's their birthday and you can get free avatar art or something in celebration.

I dunno, all i know is I'm really into this guild and I'm lovin' all the contests and art stuff. I'm gonna post some of my work and my DA account. ^-^

There's one of my better pictures, when I started using the computer and my mouse to color them. A lot of them are colored pencil though on DA

I've been wondering where I could use this, and I truly do have hope that there can be some success over here with it. Here I go, picture conversations purely sketches to replace typed characters (I know I can't actually write, no one would be able to read it, but the idea is to portray oneself by either using avi/original character/ego/self).

What do you mates say?
