Diehard_Dreamer [ A message from a friend. ]
Catherine let out a small sigh as she made her way down the hall, a large laundry basket in her hands. " I hope she's home... it's been so long since I've seen Kani." She frowned standing before the door that lead to Aladon's room, a feeling of worry flowed over her.
The plump witch took a deep breath, knocking on the door, she left the basket before it, and ran down stairs. She could feel the dread that emminated from that room... and ever since Kanilea left and then returned, something felt... wrong. Finding out what exactly though was a different problem, it would be up to Kani to speak up. Catherine Dearest Kani and Aladon,
It's been so long... You left so suddenly. If you ever need help or advice, I'll be here for you.
Sign, Catherine
Ps: These are gifts from me and Aphrodite to you and Aladon. So is the laundry basket, dinnerware, and food, I was figuring since you were gone so long you haven't had time to go shopping for Aladon and yourself. Inside the large laundry basket was:
 A crystal ball.
A potion to cure light wounds.
A potion to cure minor poisons.
 A ball for Aladon.
Though they look simple, these necklaces are enchanted to bring the wearers luck and protection. When rung, the bells will also banish away evil.
A soft blanket and pillow to bring good dreams to Aladon.
A soft blanket and pillow to bring good dreams to Kani.
A sturdy bowl and sippy cup, good for babies and toddlers.
   Fruit flavored foods for Aladon.
Normal and chocolate milk for Kani.
Strawberry Flavored milk for Aladon, with all the nutrients as normal milk! Kani can have some too! [ OOC: yes, all of this is for Kani and Aladon. x3 I was gonna post this in Aladon's room, but I didn't want to take up so much space!... You can direct link to all the images... and oh, by the way, I drew them all if you are wondering where I got them. ^.^ If you don't like anything or want more I can direct you to the list of items from the catalog in Salem's Home. This is just a really big "welcome back, we missed you" gift. ]

Meeting with Odnako and Grey Crow Baxerfullous
After returning from Catherine?s and Aphrodite?s room and placing all the gifts on the shelf, Kanilea realized she drastically needed to do her laundry. With Aladon in one hand and the new laundry basket full of dirty clothes in the other she was off.
In the Laundry Room
Summary While doing laundry Kani and Aladon meet a handsome looking man, and cooked him dinner, is there something brewing here btween the two adults? Time will tell.
Kanilea Kanilea looked uneven with a baby hanging upside down and held on one him and the towering basket of dirty clothes balanced on the other. She normally washed her clothes by hand, but she was too tired to even consider such a venture. Aladon couldn?t wait for Kanilea to find a place to set him down. He began to squirm against her tight grasp holding him to her waist. Kanilea?s grip held fast though, so he squirmed harder. There was a world of wonder beyond this hip. ?Afsdhg!? Aladon sounded too impatient to wait for a reply. Kanilea?s arms where intertwined and with the movement her delicate balance was thrown. Not wanting to drop her son she abandoned the basket, sending clothes across the room, grasping Aladon from his fall with two hands.

Aladon was full asleep when his first changes finally settled in, so he didn't noticed a thing until he woke up
The most noticable change were his wings. It seemed like his fingers streched into an impossible leght, bringing a desire of flight along with it. And his ears seemed longer and more sensitive as well

Big Boy Aladon’s Growing Up
Kanilea woke to find herself in a room, with someone she barely recognized, her son. She quickly examined the still sleeping body. It was odd to see him still sleeping, the sun just barely going down on her magically reversed ceiling. She sighed, her son was growing up, and she needed to make him some new clothes, she put that in the back of her mind as she cut the fresh fruit for their morning meal. Aladon’s eyes opened just as the last stars appeared in the fake sky. His wings ached, but his position in the tree wouldn’t let them open fully. He could here his mom working in the kitchen; the slice of the knife through the strawberries, the smell of the sugar on the cutting board lured him from his perch. Making his way down the trunk of the carving and over to the table his eyes looking up at his mother, with longing.
A little startled by her son’s movement, she handed him the bowl wordlessly. Pouring herself some tea as Aladon took a bite of a pear slice, Kani sighed, things were changing alright, things were changing.

Late Night Studying
Kanilea’s head slumped over the desk as she continued to read the long passages of the text, her eyes closing as she tried to finish her research of the assignment. She now triple checked all of her charms, and this one was giving her particular trouble, but Zar needed it to break through the assaulting line.
Aladon squirmed on the bed, where Kani had left him to play or fall asleep if he needed, but he couldn’t rest, he needed a noise some sort of distraction from his constant curious thoughts in order to relax and drift. Lifting his head he pushed the story book Kani had let him look at off the bed, a subtle hint that he was ready for bed and a little entertainment.
Kanilea picked up the small boy drudgingly and holding him in one arm she sat back down at the desk, the bottle to Aladon’s lips, Aladon pointed to the book hopefully as he sucked on the bottle, “Sorry hun, I don’t have time for a story tonight, I have to finish this.”
Aladon pointed again fussing as Kanilea brought him to him sleeping tree, clinging to her.
“Fine, if you won’t go to sleep, you can study with mommy.” She said bringing him back to the desk, “Then study with mommy.” Rocking him gently she began to read the study, “Dumque ea Cephenum medio Danaeius heros agmine commemorat, fremida regalia turba atria conplentur, nec coniugialia festa qui canat est clamor, sed qui fera nuntiet arma; inque repentinos convivia versa tumultus adsimilare freto possis, quod saeva quietum ventorum rabies motis exasperat undis.” Kanilea smiled as she read one hand quickly quilling her notes and the other lightly rocking Aladon to sleep.

The Departure
Kanilea held the boy’s hand tightly as they walked away from the building. Her other hand carried a small suitcase, the rest of their things had already been sent ahead. “Are you ready to go, Ally?”
He nodded letting the cool night air fill his wings as they walked. His hands outstretched to both sides. He wasn’t sure where the lady was taking him, but he didn’t mind, he liked her now.
“You didn’t forget anything?” She asked again, bending down and readjusting his small wool cloak—it was the only way to get a jacket over those arms.
He shook his head. They both looked back at the home with a sense of longing.
Kanilea, talking to Aladon as much as herself, “We may return, child, but now is not our time here.”
Aladon had stopped talking since he was told the news, he would miss his home greatly.
Kanilea gave his hand a squeeze, and started to walk.
A tear went unnoticed on his cheek.
It was going to be a long journey.
