Entering the laundry room was Baxterfullous, the tall and pale catfolk blinked as he idly watched Kani and Aladon. What a strange pair he mused as he carried the mid week's load in the room. It was his turn to do the chore, what a horrible task.
Placing down the large basket on the side table against the wall that was near the door, he sighed knowing there was at least three baskets more back inside the hall in a large red wagon. Looking up he gasped as Kanilea tossed her basket across the room, as she caught her son. Moving quickly he steadied her before she too almost fell. "Are you alright?" He asked softly, his thick english accent laced over his deep voice.

"Well I don't know how bad that can be." He laughed quietly, as he let go of her sides. "... Raising children require some sacrifice though." Picking Aladon up from the mess of already sorted clothing, and holding the strange fellow upside down for the bat-baby's comfort. "I'm a co-dependant for a friend, her name is Catherine." He sighed as he then decided for the better to put Aladon down on the ground once more, this time right side up.
"I am Baxterfullous." He smiled as he picked up all of the colored t-shirts from off the floor and basket, dumping them into the washing machine. Smiling he looked at Kani as he placed the basket back down on the ground, his tail swaying behind him. "I suppose it's odd to be livign a with a woman you have no romantic interest in, she's merely a very good friend." He sighed, a small smile still on his thin and pale face. "And who is this curious fellow?" His cobalt blue cat eyes drifted to focus on Aladon.

" If you wish, you may call me Bax... The children do, as well as most everyone else." He spoke as he smiled, Kani was truly beautiful, that that he'd admit it aloud as of yet... he was still getting over his lost chance he could've had romantically with the last woman he was interested in, though looking at her once more he couldn't help but get over it a little faster.
"Well, children his age are very curious, you're lucky you can see yours. When I baby sat aphrodite I very much hated playing hide and seek." He laughed a bit as he turned the nobs and added detergent. Looking over at Kani, he ponder for a moment. "Do you need help?"

Baxterfullous shok his head, his long bangs swishes back and forth for a moment. "No, I prefer using magic to clean.. but I digress, I've been a bit over worked with teaching and babysitting." He made a face as her twisted a few knobs, opening the top of the washing machine he checked what sort of fabric she placed inside. Taking some detergent from one of the shelves, he poured and measured into a cup, and pulled the knob to turn the water on. "Kani.. was it?" He smiled. "Catherine spoke of you fondly, you must be a friend of hers." His eyes watched Kani's bouncing curls, drifting his attentionback to the water as he poured in the detergent, and then poured in the fabric softener. Placing the cups back high on the shelf, and away from Aladon.
"Do you live alone?" He asked as he shut the machine door closed, proceeding to do the three loads he had waiting for him.

"Well she is very intuitive." He kept his smile, very much liking Kani's company. "I'm the magic teacher here, atually. I teach mishaps how to use the magic that's inside of them... My students are wonderful... well most of them. But with every batch you have a problem student here or there." He shruged as he shut all three of the other machine doors one at a time, wanted to get them all done quickly. Turning knobs, and watching them all roar to life, he looked at Kani and then Aladon. "Do you want to leave the laundry room for a bit, I'm sure the noise might bother his ear.. if they are sensitive." He said, gesturing to the now four machines that were going off at once. He blinked hearing the sneeze, looking over at Aladon.

He followed after her with a smile. "Actually the way Mishaps use magic is different than how others do.. It's a required course of learning." He explained with a shrug, holding out his hand he formed an orb of water. "You see how the mishaps work is that there are alignment, and these invovle elements and speacialities." He let the orb absorbed into his skin. "It's quite fascinating, really." He smiled, but it seems his eyes were locked on to Kani. Hmm what was really fascinating?

" It's quite alright." He said softly. "I was merely stating a bit of a fact.. that's all." He blinked, as she brushed his outstretched arm, a soft shiver ran up his spine. Quickly brushing his fingers through his own hair, he hid his quick embarrassment. "Umm.. are you hungry.. the kitchen's not far." He smiled sheepishly, gesturing towards the large kithchen.
