January 1st - A note from Zar leds Kani and Aladom from the Manor -2005-December 21st - Aladon's First Yule November 10th - A Gift from Zar November 7th - Aladon and Kanilea meet Kunjiro, Rex, King, and Xiao Ling in the green area. November 5th - Remodling November 4th - Aladon and Kanilea move into the Manor November 3rd - Aladon Emerges

 Right above the corkboard on the door is a huge sign: Quote: Unfortunately Aladon and I have left the Mishap Manor for my home land. If ever someone returns send us a letter (a long list of symbols presumably an address) and we will make arrangements to return or to have you join us,
Kani On the door there has been nailed a small corkboard. Currently on the corkboard there are a few pieces of paper, containing pictures, notes and reminders, one section of the corkboard catches your eye:  You seem to enter into an eternal world of night as you enter the room. The few candles in the room are whole as if they have never been lit to insure that no light touches the black walls. You can smell the sweet and salty tang of herbs, and see them drying in the dark wooden rafters. As your eyes drift to the rafters you notice that there are claw marks on them, as if something had been hanging there not to long ago. As you continue into the room, you begin to notice the organized mess of it all, a caldron tipped over on the floor, toys strewn about a dark carpet, and lots and lots of piled books, on which sits an old tea service. A dark green crib shows visions of flying owls, bats, and witches to a sleeping baby (at noon?!) A wild-haired young woman is asleep in a wooden rocker with a book of Grim Fairytales across her chest at what must be the foot of her canopy bed.

Status: He is too young to have a status!  Occupation: Drooling Hobbies: Exploring, Sleeping in the Day, Keeping Kani awake all night, and Biting what most would consider inedible. Zodiac Sign: Scorpio Chinese Zodiac Year: The Year of the Rooster Eye Color: Unknown Hair Color/Length: Short Light Brown Hair Other Physical: Aladon is a foot and 20 pounds of feather covered lovely, he has a bats face with the nose as two slits, large squinting eyes, pointed ears, and a mouth at the top. He, also, has two sets of wings a small pair on his back, and a large pair as his ?arms.? His legs, which have large gripping claws on them, rotate 180 degrees. Just hope curiosity doesn't kill the bat. Tends to grab onto things and climb/hang upside down on them, he, also, seems to be awake at night and asleep in the day. Species: She's not telling, but lets just say not human.
Language: Kani is fluent in 328 languages including 18 dilects and can read and write in 18 languages, her native is Earthen and is her most used, second is English.
Status: Single
Occupation: Quite possibly the weakest Sage ever (a Sage is like a Mage in the fact they work with magic, but while the Mages practice magic more Sages look more into the writing, ancients, and other studies of magic.)
Hobbies:Sarcasm, Writing, Music, Embracing Nature, and Dancing Barefoot in the Moonlight.

Personality: Kani is a walking oxymoron. On one hand she holds the wisdom of ages and can use that acquired wisdom to save the world. On the other hand she can act like a child being playful and curious. Or she can be anything in-between. Serious or Playful, Standoffish or Flirtatious, Kanilea is just herself.
Quirks: Kani tends not to think things through, this spontinaty results in inital fun but may cause unwanted harm. For instance she will be the first to roll down a particularly steep hill, and the first to end up in the pile of thorns at the bottom.

This small golden key was gifted to Aladon by Maggie, which allows him to live at the Mishap Manor with Kanilea.
This wand was made by the same who made Kanilea's, an old demonic friend, it is kept locked in the desk until Aladon is a little older.
Kanilea bought Aladon this little MP3 player to soften him into sleep, he loves soft music. He doesn't listen to english music.
This Tea was a gift from god. It's so that Kani can actually stay awake in these odd hours Aladon is running her though!
Fun Things
      
Aladon realy enjoys to have things read to him, it's one of the few times he is actually not trying to absorb everything around him, just whats in the story. Kanilea senses that and try's to keep all of the takes morally elivated.
  
Bulding blocks and Cubes help Aladon express his creativity and the rattle helps him express his loudness, through he doesn't always enjoy that.

Kanilea hopes she never has to use these but knowing Aladon's explorative nature she will.

A gift from an old friend Zar to Aladon and I. It hangs over both of our beds to keep our dreams from being poisoned. It came with a note:
Zar "Kani, I have been desperate to find and sign of life from you. I finally heard from one of the surviving members of the coven you were somehow evolved in a magical accident, but have found a safe place to stay. I have, also, heard that you now have a son, I guess congratulations are in order although (something seems to be scratched out here.) I have sent this courier with instructions to find and deliver this to you and your son, may it keep his and your dreams safe."

Ps: These are gifts from me and Aphrodite to you and Aladon. So is the laundry basket, dinnerware, and food, I was figuring since you were gone so long you haven't had time to go shopping for Aladon and yourself.  Inside the large laundry basket was:
A crystal ball.
A potion to cure light wounds.
A potion to cure minor poisons.
A ball for Aladon.
Though they look simple, these necklaces are enchanted to bring the wearers luck and protection. When rung, the bells will also banish away evil.
A soft blanket and pillow to bring good dreams to Aladon.

A sturdy bowl and sippy cup, good for babies and toddlers.
Fruit flavored foods for Aladon.
Normal and chocolate milk for Kani.
