"It goes like this." Noel then began to sing the song for the fairy.

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks

Zlyphia started to play her violin to the song once she found the page and got where she was. "Okay! So, let's start with the basics." She got up and handed her the violin. "Start to plunk to the scales! Don't plunk too hard or you will break a string on my violin."

Noel nodded while taking the violin carefully. "Okay, I will try." The took her fingers and began to pluck what she thought were the scales. She plucked very gently. Noel really didn't want to hurt Zlphia's instrument.

Zlyphia listened carefully then took out the music sheets and lay them on the table in front of her. "Now play Silver Bells." She ordered as she watched her carefully. She knew she wouldn't break a string on her violin, but it was never a sure thing.

"Just like that? Okay, I'll try." Noel looked over the music. Now it looked like a bunch of lines and dots. The closed her eyes for a moment to hum the song in her head. Once that was done she attempted to play. It sounded like a child playing but Noel kept going anyway.

"Are you playing from memory or the sheet music?" Zlyphia knew what she was doing and when she did that she didn't get the notes right.

Noel looked over at the fairy. "Um... well, maybe both." She frowned and tired to read the music again. This was hard and she wasn't sure she was meant to play the violin.

Zlyphia noticed her hesitation between her and the violin. "Maybe you should play the flute or something." She said then got up. "Listen, I must be on my way.."

"Oh, um okay." Noel felt like maybe she offended Zylphia which was far from what she wanted to do. "Thanks for helping me today and teaching me. If you ever want to do something again let me know." Noel said before dashing into the kitchen and wrapping up some of the tarts. "Take these too!"

Zlyphia smiled when she came back with tarts and she took them happily. "Oh, if you ever want to go out dress shopping, give me a call hun. I love shopping for dresses and if I ever meet the designer who gave you yours. I would be at her feet. I'm sure you have heard of Amy's workshop...right?"

Noel looked at her dress then back at the fae. "Oh, well thank you. You have a beautiful dress too. Sure, I'll go shopping some time. I think so. I do like to shop." Noel chuckled.
