I've heard that the Camecube version of Grandia II has significant loading time and other issues. Is this in fact true?

Grandia. <3
I don't think there was a Grandia 2 released for the Gamecube, Neko... the PS2 version is, indeed, rather buggy and laggy, however. Nonetheless, a lot of the time it isn't too noticeable compared to other certain RPGs that one can find for the console.
Plus, you just don't care about loading times when you're playing games this good.
In other news, Xenogears is "teh bomb".

I love DDR...and I love it even more when I can actually dance to the songs. One of my favorite things to watch is a sexy dance, and when someone does that on the DDR machine...well..just look at this and tell me you don't want to mate her. xd

Gimme FFVII... the rich storyline, the ways to kill hours, the battle system, the way it ties in to Final Fantasy Tactics, among other qualities make it a great game worthy of praise and attention from gamers old and young alike.
Secondly, I like pretty much the entire Castlevania series, from the original to the the new games.

NekoIncChan Graphics Creep. I'll stick to Age of Mythology, myself... Graphics Creep. I'll stick with Alpha Centuri, myself. ;D Meguru Finally, someone who understands how great that game is. I used to have a site link where it explained everything in the game if you didn't get it but I think I lost it. crying Xenogears? Gah, can't be looking at those sorts of sites just yet. I'm -nearly- finished with the game. Disc 2, have to fly over to final boss in that nifty ol' flying submarine (Bart pwnz0rs. x3) and smack him one. <<' The storyline is really... well, incredible, even if disc 2 did drag on a little. Easily convinced me to go buy Xenosaga Episodes 1 and 2, when I have funds. If you find that link anytime soon, though, Meguru, do let me know. wink Koiyuki Which brings up something I've been thinking about for quite some time now..what matters more in a game, the story, the graphics or the gameplay? Depends on both the player, and the genre of the game. RPGs don't necessarily need awesome graphics, though it does help immersion when combined with uber soundtrack. (I'm a soundtrack fan with my games. ^^) Take for example, Baldur's Gate series. Graphics were... not awesome, but rather decent for the time, yet the story is pretty durned cool. Easily one of my top 15 RPGs. Storyline is the main point, in my honest opinion. Graphics and sound effects are almost a must-have with FPS's, however. Don't think I need to explain myself here, besides that there is no immersion, only lots of killing. Sidescrollers need awesome gameplay. Fighting games need awesome controls. Racing games need good graphics and replayability. Etcetera, etcetera. =)

Ah! You are still not done with Xenogears? I didn't beat it for the longest time since that darn Opiomorph kept beating me.
The last boss isn't hard. Just remember to equip some good defense item, Z Charger, and something to boost your performance. Speed rings help a lot too ^^;;
