(( A thunderstorm or something is sounding really good right about now XD I'm totally out of ideas. Maybe they could plan kids? XD Uh...Earthquake? Tornado? Snow storm? Heart attack?)
Ame smiled and nuzzled her mate again before nibbling on a few more strawberries. As she ate, Ame thought about the last time she was here with Sigal. It was so long ago. So much has changed since then.
"So I'm an aunt and Ari had more kids..." Ame said going back to yesterdays conversation. "Seems like everyones settling down and having kids these days. I wonder why Ari had more..." She was starting to stare off into space when a thought occurred to her. "I think any kit of yours would be beautiful."

"I think maybe Daddy had more kits 'cause Kazuki wanted kits. I dunno, I'm glad he did, 'cause my little sisters and brothers are so cute!" Admittedly, Sigal had seen her younger siblings all of once, when they were born, and thus was unaware of how they'd grown up slightly bratty.
"Of course it would, 'cause any kit of mine would be a kit of yours, and any kit of yours'd be beautiful!
"So, um, does that mean you want kits?" Sigal looked at Ame hopefully. They'd been together for so long, and Ame was right, everyone was settling down and having kits. And Sigal was starting to want to hear the pitter-patter of little paws too now.
((Remind me to never drink Red Bull this late at night again. I just spent like 5 minutes giggling at your heart attack suggestion. So, they can plot kits for the rest of this one, and next thread could be thunderstorm turned into snow storm? Storm with snow AND thunder?))

Sigal posed a good question. Did Ame want kids? Could she handle kits? Would she be able to take care of them? Was she really ready to settle down with Sigal and have a family that consisted of more than just the two of them.
A family. Ame blinked for a second as she realized that besides Sigal, she had never had a family. Of course, Sigal's family was also her family but she didn't exactly think of them as such. They were Sigal's family, or her tribe, not her family. But to have kits with her beloved...
Ame didn't even bother to hide or minimize the wide smile that spread across her face. "That's what it means. I would love to have and raise kit's with you, Sigal. How do you feel about starting a family of our own?"
((XD Yeah, Red Bull is baaad late at night. And that sounds good for the next one. SNOW AND THUNDAH!!))

"I'd love to have a family of our own!" Actually, Sigal had maybe gotten a little jealous when Twilight got to have kits, and not her, but it was okay if they had kits now. Better late than never, or however that phrase went.
"You'd be the best mommy ever! I know it!" Sigal gently pounced Ame (remembering that Ame's paw was still sore and she didn't want to hurt it more), and licked her mate's cheek.

Ame giggled as Sigal gently pounced her and licked her cheek. The image of Sigal playing with their children formed in Ame's mind and she licked her mate back.
"Ha, I don't know about that. I'd have some tough competition for best mommy ever award if you're in the running for it as well." Ame laughed and smiled before really thinking about being a good mother. She hopped she'd be a good mother considering she had never really been around kits before. She'd never had to take care of them.... What if they hated her?

Sigal imagined what Daddy would do when she and Ame showed up with their kits.
"I think he'd freak out, 'cause that's what Daddies have to do when they become granddaddies, but he'd be secretly really happy. I'm sure of it, 'cause they'd be the best grandkits ever!"

Ame tried to remember if she had ever met the other Lunarie tribe elder. If she had met him, it had been so long ago and for such a short time that she couldn't remember it now. But she guessed it was a good thing that he was more like a mommy, that way she and Sigal had more foxes to ask for tips.
"Yeah, with two awesome Mommies, they'd have to be the best grandkits ever, huh?" Ame said smiling. Sigal was so optimistic about it, she didn't seem to worry about the kits growing up to hate them. Maybe raising kits wouldn't be as hard as she thought and she was just thinking on it to much... yeah...

And I would feel bad if one of them turned out taking after your colors a lot because I would probably pay more attention to that one, which would make me a bad mommy." A worried look came over Ame's face. If some of their kits looked like her and some looked like Sigal, it would be hard not to play favorites. Sigal was just so beautiful and a little mini-fluffy Sigal would be to insanely cute to ignore.
((Yes, it was I all along. But now I've got you addicted and you can never stop! You will eat cereal forever!))

Sigal thought about that for a bit. She had thought she'd pay attention to all her kits equally, but here she was already hoping they'd look more like Ame...
"What if all of them ended up looking mostly like me? Or you? Then what? I mean, not even...Kavi, that's his name! Not even he looks exactly like Kazuki. So all of them would look like me a little, so that's okay!
"Plus...well, maybe I'd pay more attentions to the ones that look like you, too. But we'll try to treat them all equally, 'kay? Let's promise we'll try really had to treat them all equal!"

Sigal did have a point. None of their kits would look exactly like either of them. Their kits would be a mixture of them. Each kit would have at least something that she could relate back to Sigal. If that was the case, it shouldn't be that hard not to play favorites, right?
