Hmmm... Well there was Star Wars although I didn't like it (so damn hard!). But I realy liked The Rakes of Mallow, a song from the movie The Quiet Man played near the end.

Honestly, I loved Pas Redoble by Saint Saens or however it's spelled.
It's...whimsical to me, and my cymbal parts are fun. : D

But my favourite piece that I played mallets in would probably be...uh...The March of the Belgian Paratroopers. That title's French too but I forget exactly what it is when translated xD

Piece that I actually played?

The Iliad.

That's one beastly french horn piece. XD

Although I didn't struggle much after the first week, thank God.

But my favorite piece that we've sight read was Canto e Cambdombe.

I wanted to play it so bad.

I would have to say the kraken theme from Pirates of the Caribbean. That or music for a darkened theatre.

Im in symphonic band right now. And we are playing Voices of the sky. If you love to watch the sunset. Close you eyes and listen to this you can literally see it. Its amazing. I belive they have it on you tube. If not they have it on JWpepper.com thats where my teacher gets all of his music. Search it and they have a mp3 preview! biggrin Its amazing!

I love that song so much.

New York: 1927 is another fun one. That's not us though. Sorry about the quality. I had a hard time finding a good one. There was a better one, but the percussion was off in that one. xd The slow blues part sounds so cool. xd

A couple of years ago we did a spy theme in my school. Now THAT was fun.

I was only in the Freshman band this year and it had some newbies in it as well as more experienced players, so we did a more simple piece called The Last Ride on the Pony Express. Again, that's not us.

A couple of years ago I was in a less experienced program. We did an easier version of Bohemian Rhapsody. That was pretty fun, too. xd
