"Excuse me for a minute." She said to Sunia as she stood again. "Please don't start this... we need to stay united we can't afford to be fighting each other..." SHe said pleading with Maia to calm herself. "I admit I was a bit hasty to turn down Grimloq's plan... and upon second thought it is the most humane way, to try and take hold of the situation, and as long as the innocent farmers are not injured I will agree with that plan, but in order for us to win this war, all the creatures of the land need to stand united...." She said to Maia.

Maia grumbled again and sank back into her seat, she wasn't going to argue with Rikku, the poor girl was trying her best. She sighed, an ear twitched annoyingly as she glared at everyone around her. Some humans glared back and she hissed.

Sunia nodded her head and took a deep breath. "I saw." She stood up. "I saw a Sea Warrior kill a Lizard Man."She wednt to her fairy size to save power. "He killed him what seemed out of cold blood." She looked around at everyone and took to the air. "I'm protecting the death body until he can be properly taken care of."

Ruri turned back to the girl, growling. " Not all humans are bad...I haven't gotten the chance to know very many, but I lost one that was very special too me and he treated me with kindness, respect and love! So I don't know what you beef with humans is, but you don't have too generalize the whole race!" Her hood slipped farther from her head and threated to come off entirely the more animated she became. As the Priestess told everyone to settle down, she decided to keep the rest of her thoughts to herself. No needed to know her personal problems, and they probably didn't care anyway. "Alright everyone quite and let the Priestess speak! And you..!" She said snarling and pointing at the humans yelling at the girl next to her. " Leave her alone, she's got her reasons and I've got mine! So shut up and sit down!" With that Ruri forced herself back in her own seat.

"Yeah, yeah," Maia said, waving her hand half-heartedly, "I've heard it all, seen it all. Never met a human that wouldn't lie his way out of a situation. Kill another race because they were annoying or whatever, I just think they have it coming, if those water people don't get them all- along with us- first." She dismissed the subject, hating to be the center of everyone's rage. She actually didn't care what happened to the humans, if they lived then they lived, if they died then they died. She was intent on protecting those around her that actually meant something, so far only a few people had been in that group. No humans.

She sighed and said " Again, you have your problems...and I have mine. Lets just try to agree that we need to survive long enough to come back to the ones we love, and fight about our differences latter." "I need to find my love, first of course...but that is another subject entirely" She finished in a whisper.

"Keep the humans then, I don't care, just saying." She looked over at the girl, "What's your name? I've lived here long enough, but I will remain here until Rikku reaches her goal, whatever that may be. I made a promise, as the only one of my kind. I certainly do hope you find your love, love is a precious thing. It causes hate and war, like this war. Though whether or not a certain kind of love started this whole fiasco, I agree, we do need to co-operate, I'm sorry." She finished on a much lighter note, realizing she had lost the battle, "I did not mean what I said, we do need to unite together. Whether or not everyone's willing to do this though, is another matter."

She smile and shifted around to look at the girl next to her again. "My name is Ruri Taka...It has been a very long time since anyone has asked me that." Ruri sighed and said " I'm sorry for my outburst as well, I have a one track mind and that causes me to lose track of what I am saying. Your not the only one to have problems with humans, I just happen to have other experiences with them as well." She smiled and held her hand out. "What's your name by the way?"

Maia took her hand and shook it, as she'd done many times before, "I am Maia... Maia Red, according to the Fox tribe. You must have quite a story to tell then, though now would not be the best time to discuss it." She eyed the council worriedly, her soft side had broken through her mean and rough exterior and she smiled.

"Humanity is a blessing just as much as it is a curse! Human Tribe settlers to the Lands of Swamp in the east long ago brought many things to my people like the aspect of civilization and the methods we use to make our weapons. Humans play an important part in the war; their technology is nothing just to be vanquished. Humanity was the beginning race remember, every humanoid race came from humanity, even the Priestesses’ ancestors came from the love of a Pure Blood and a human. Exterminating humanity would be like killing a part of our ancestory. I will not allow it to happen, spirit as long as I hold the power to stop it."
Heritage was an important part of a Lizard Man's history and humans played an important part in it. There were a few Halflings developing in the Lizard Men Tribes, but Grimloq made sure the human gene didn't take over his tribes and secluded Halfling Lizard Men to their own tribe lower down in the Northern Regions. Why the Fox Spirit was against humans was likely due to her experience with them, but Grimloq had experience too; not as much, but it was there.
"And as for my lost brethren..."
Grimloq lost his focus for the subject of humanity and stared into the table before him. Causalities were part of war, but hearing one individually was a bit hard. You get to know their name, what family they had, and even invitations to their Ceremony of Passing.
"I need the body, did you save it? I must deliver it to the family..."
Nothing hurt more than having to personally deliver the body as well. Sunai wasn't of Lizard Men descent and wasn't entitled by tradition to deliver the body. Since Grimloq was and he was the first to receive news of the death, he was assign to by Lizard Men tradition.
"On that not, I must take my leave in order to take the body."
Grimloq pushed back from the table and stood up, walking towards the fairy with a face of sorrow.
"Take me to him fairy; you'll be just rewarded for your concern."

Sunia listioned well at the words spoken. "Yes, I did. It's under my protection." She answered as she nodded her head. She put her head down in sadness. She lifted her head back up. "Yes sir." She slowly took out making sure she would keep in site of Grimloq. She sighed, she is a protector of the forest and the living beings in it no matter what the size or race. If I just didn't get scared, then I mite could have saved him. She thought trying to calm her mind from all of this.

"I call this meeting adjourned." She said calmly. "I thank you all for coming, and please relay what we have decided to you kinsmen." She said walking back over to her chair and sitting down, rubbing her temples. 'I hate council meetings, they always end up being a disaster. We probably had more to talk about... but too much has happened in this one meeting I think everyone needs a break' She thought to herself as continued to rub her temples, trying to fight of a throbbing headache. 'I wish I could go with Grimloq to see what happened.. but I should probably stay here and answer any questions anyone has about the meeting.' She thought to herself.

Grimloq followed at a distant from the fairy, liknig to keep personal space during moments of sorrow. Normally Grimloq would call his mount, but he didn't want to scare the fairy and his mount was exactly fully trained to be around non-Lizard Men yet. This menat Grimloq had to follow on his feet instead, something he was use to; his mount after all was only brought out in battle or in journey's throught the forests.
Attention all associates of the Water Guild within the army ranks, meet at my quarters at exactly when the moon shines high above in the waters, for fools tihs means midnight.
-Mizu
This message was posted in the news board of the main hall within the Water Fortress located far off of the Land of Blossoms' shore. This fortress was large enough to even break the water's surface by a good twenty feet, that was where Mizu's quarters were, as well the war room for feature planned assaults.

Sunia took to her human size as she came up to the roots protecting the dead Lizard Man. "Here." She ordered the roots to uncover him but did not let him touch the ground. "Will you need help getting him back, sir?" She asked looking at the body. "I will gladly help if you may need it."

"There is no need..."
Grimloq knew this scout and he didn't have a family or any known relatives, he was an orphan given to the Lizard Men military since he didn't have any where else to go. Grimloq knew him personally and was the closes thing this Lizard Man had to a relative.
"He had no family except me and the other soldiers, would you help me bury him?"
If a warriro died that had no true relatives, he was to be buried immediantly so he could begin his journey to the great beyond and begin his trials in the heavens. The God of Judgment and the Goddess of Passing would see to it if the spirit of the Lizard Man was worthy to advance into the heavens and if not, the spirit of the Lizard Mna would be sent back to the mortal realm as a differnt creature to try again. In Lizard Man religion, there was no underworld, only heaven and rebirth.
