[enters from squad 7]
Layla entered the room, seeing nobody but the ninja guy staring hard at the wall's collage of papers. There were alot of maps and charts, all with idifferent writings and colored patterns on them. They seemed to be defensive patterns, from what she gathered in that short time. She snuck up behind Slash, standing sort of beside him as she took her own interest in the documents. "So, found something in regards to the circumstances right now?" she asked, making her presence known.

Hikari ran in, breathless. She sagged, bending over and trying to slow her racing heart. That's the last time I run flat out from 11th squad to 6th squad! she vowed. Work out more, Hijuelo, the Presence advised. She stood after a moment and looked around, hoping she wouldn't have to run any farther. She sighed in relief when she saw Slash. And then it was replaced by concern, anxiety, and irritation. "Slash! Oh my god, is something wrong? You left looking so worried-" she stopped abruptly, frowning. "Why the hell are we at 6th squad?"

[entering from Squad 2]
Kurai bounded up to the doors of the the "situation room," better known as the Sandtable. She could sense several unfamiliar spiritual pressures within, all of whom were shinigami. Of course, did I expect otherwise? She berated herself, knowing that she felt a heightened sense of paranoia these days. The arrancar had been quite active of late
Calm, calm. She was on an errand for her Captain. Her orders were to report to the Sandtable in order to establish the situation at hand. Spec-Ops had been tracking both hollow and arrancar movement, and there was some indication that they were massing for a strike on the Seireitei, though the location was unknown. Kurai was to see if the Tactics Division could add anything else to Rhia's reports.
She walked in, breathing lightly, though she'd run from Second Division. Then again, she loved to run-- it made her feel free. It was no surprise she was good at it.
Though she could not see, she could easily sense the disquiet around the Sandtable. One shinigami immediately to her left spoke, and Kurai's over-sensitive ears detected a hint of anxiety. We're all on edge, she mused.
"Do we know what's going on?" She asked, turning her head to fix the girl who'd just spoken with her blind gaze. She hoped she didn't sound imperious. She was just as curious of the situation as anyone else.

A rustle of dark cloth, a bright glint of naked steel.
Razil entered the room filled with holographic projections and maps, noting the presence of several other Shinigami there. He recognized Kurai from his mission into Hueco Mundo months previously, as well as young ninja by the name of Slash, an initiate into 11th Squad. I have heard he has talent, maybe I will keep on eye on him and see what he's got...maybe I will challenge him one day. Not recognizing the other Shinigami in the area, Razil walked over to Kurai, using a clawed ephemeral hand of reiatsu to wave since she was blind to all but spiritual pressure. "How are you lady Kuraime, since our excursion into Hueco Mundo?" He stopped in front of her, smiling tightly. "I was promoted to 3rd Seat of 1st Squad because of that debacle, we are equals now it seems..." Razil looked over the room, sensing everyone's disquiet.
He wasn't so calm himself, with the Arrancar running amok throughout Soul Society, and the mysterious Arcanian invasion on top of things...it was hard to sleep soundly these days. "Does anyone know truly what is going on?" He said, speaking to Kurai once more. "Chaos reigns, and no-one is doing much about it..."

Slash saw the others entering the room, not doubt for the same purposes as him. Now accompanied by other shinigami, he turned around and leaned up with his back against the wall. "Nah Hikari, I'm just trying to get a little more aquainted with our rules of engagement concerning arrancar and espada." he explained. "Looks like even regular arrancar shouldn't be taken as a joke. Fraccion and espada are what could be considered ViceCaptain status, but for the most part they're just like a normal arrancar. Though their titles shouldn't ever be taken for granted apperantly, because there are some who are just plain deadly." You could tell there was a tiny bit of excitement in his voice when he spoke these words.

Tenrai slowly walked into the strange room. "It's funny," Tenrai thought to himself, "I have been in the Soul Society for a while now, but this is the first time that I have really been out of the squad." Tenrai then noticed the small group of people standing next to Slash. "So what kind of trouble have we gotten ourselves into this time?" Tenrai asked no one in particular.

"Aaahh, I'd say nothing really. But we've just about almost got enough for a tactical response team here in our midst." he said halfheartedly. "With exceptions between us, like say power and technique. Still, I am not suprised to see so many people here, since we are sort of under attack." Slash's words were dull, and he just plainly seemed bored. Even though he looked rather uninterested, he was mainly concerned as to why these Arrancar were allowed to do what they did so freely. Aizen must be getting up some balls if he's planning stuff like this now, but what he has in store after this was a mystery to Slash.

"Razil," Kurai said, smiling crookedly in response to Razil's wave. "It's good to see you, again. But, really-- just 'Kurai'. 'Lady' makes me feel all... uncomfortably royal... Which I'm not,"
She remembered Razil as kind and obviously capable. He seemed to remember her blindness as he produced a reiatsu "hand" in order to wave at her. He needn't have bothered. Her unique senses allowed her to perceive movement through sound and vibration. Her "aura" sense, which she generally reserved for combat, had little to do with reiatsu, but rather a glimpse of the color of someone's soul. Still, it was the thought that counted.
"Congratulations on your promotion," Kurai continued, genuinely pleased for him, though she had always considered them equals. In truth, she didn't think of herself as "above" anyone else. "Unfortunately, it seems we're all equally in the dark about our current situation,"

[Enters from Squad Nine]] Genji had never been into the Sandtable before. He sensed something strange going on in that building. There were others there. Luckily, they were Shinigami. It was quite a relief. He cheerfully went to them with a happy greeting. "Hello," Genji said. "I'm Genji Kazemaru, Squad Nine. I came here because I had a strange feeling about this place. I know I must sound just so strange. I just came from a rattling battle with an arrancar, and I am just so glad that there are plenty of people still in good condition during this whole mess."

Oath entered the room slowly, and yawned. He looked around to see the various people from different squads in the place. He only recognized two people at best. He knew that he saw Kuraime before, and that Genji was in the same squad as him. He walked over to Genji, and said, "I guess we're representing 9th, huh?"

Layla was not sitting on the table, with her long legs crossed in front of her. She was exposing them a bit, but it didn't matter to her because she hardly wore clothes anyways and didn't care about showing her body. She kind of enjoyed the attention anyway, and there were certainly alot of men there now. In fact, when she came here to figure out more on the arrancar attack, there had been alot of others with the same thoughts. "Okay, listen up everybody, my name is Layla Kujiku" she shouted, extending one of her legs into the air. "Obviously we're all trying to find out something about the invasion. Right now alot of our Captains and vice captains are busy with one thing or another... 3rd Squad captain is dealing with attacks and the secondary gate getting destroyed, 9th Squad's captain and Vice are unable to do antyhing further than what they are right now. 12th Squad is infested with arrancar at the moment, and with Maxi-san and Bull-taichou's bankais as we;; as the others fighting, that should be a non-accessible zone for our own safety." She paused for a second, giving the group of shinigami time to recognize this before continuing. "With the gates to Earth destroyed now, and vizard who may have gotten in are not going to be able to leave. I say we do not trust them, as their intentions have not been identified yet during this invasion, and we don't know what they are here for. So with all that, does anyone have any suggestions from this point?"

Smiling at Kurai's comments, Razil was about to respond when the young woman began to speak. She was wearing clothes that left very little to the imagination, although this barely registered for Razil. She was good looking, but he had trained himself to not respond to emotions such as lust.
Listening to her words, he intoned his own question. "Why should we not trust the Vaizards? Truly, they are themselves Shinigami of old, there is no reason why we should steer clear of them. The only one who you should worry about is Feiy, but the rest aren't inclined to kill us at the first sighting..."
Casting a critical gaze at the rag-tag group of warriors around him, and then the map-and-paper-lined room, he raised his voice so everyone could hear. "I am Razil Masamne, 3rd Seat of 1st Squad. What rank and from what Squad does everyone hail? We need to figure out what to do. It seems this group is made up of the mid-ranks of the Seireitei, so facing an Arrancar one-on-one would prove fatal...unless we all fought it at once..." Even though we can go toe-to-toe with one, that IS our Squad specialty after all... Oh be quiet, I don't need you pipping in with comments from the peanut gallery...
Razil thought for a moment and getting an idea from his Zanpakuto's comment, he added "As an after thought, mention your personal specialty as well, maybe we can formulate a plan using the information and the resources we have here..." He cast his hand about, taking the room into his sweeping gesture.

Oath merely ignored the obnoxious lady, until he heard the last part. "Uh, no thanks. I'll trust or not trust them as I please. I served under three of them, and I consider one of them my friends," He stated. He leaned back against the nearest wall, and scanned the room again. Eventually, he said, "I'm Oath Izuka Masaru Galewind. I'm 9th squad's 4th seat. Not that seats really matter," he added nonchalantly. He slowly slid down to the ground, and sat with his legs out. He stared at Kuraime's face, to try and remember where he'd seen her from. He stared at her so long, that one would consider it "creepy". Eventually, he remembered. Though he didn't say anything on the matter.
Oath stopped looking at Kuraime, and the other people. He just looked around the room, to see what kind of things were inside it. He noticed a table, with a map on top of it. And he saw some papers all across the room. He wasn't too surprised though, considering that it was 6th squad. From his sitting position, he leaned back some more, so that it looked like he was laying down. Soon, he was on the ground, looking up at the ceiling. He put his hands on his chest, and put his legs straight. He didn't really care that he was on the ground. He actually preferred it that way.

Torsin walked in whistling a tune that sound like something like the star wars theme song and as soon ash saw Kurai he smiled. so finally were going to work together and not fight. "Yeah well I say you attack her just for the heck of it."Lupus said in his mind
How bout no
"come on Torsin have fun."
I said no now shut up.
Walking up to Kurai he looked around to see who he knew there was Oath a fellow werewolf,Razil, and of course Kurai everyone else he didn't know.

No one else had volunteered either name or title in the past minute, or so. Kurai felt obligated to keep the ball rolling. It would help to know who everyone present. Some, like Razil and Torsin, she knew personally. Another shinigami who was peering at her with strangely intense interest seemed familiar, too. The others were strangers.
"Kuraime--," She started, hesitating to give a family name. Right. As if I need another reason to draw attention to myself. It was for this same reason that she neglected to mention any special skills. It was bad enough that she was a Shihouin, worse that she so closely resembled her sister Yoruichi. It was quite another to admit that she was blind and that this apparent disability gave her unique gifts. On quite another note, admitting to all that felt too much like bragging or flaunting status. She continued with barely a pause. "Kurai for short. Second Division's third seat. I'm of the same opinion as Razil-- the vaizard can be trusted. Even Feiy. She won't harm you if you don't cross her,"
And I have. It's not an experience I'll soon repeat. All the same, she knew Feiy was trustworthy, if only for her Captain's sake.
