Dear Diary...

I haven't been out much of late, haven't seen Damaris since we had a magic class together but since then I really haven't much been feeling like going out. Its strange... I mean I know deep down not everyone is like that but I still find myself scared at the prospect of running across those people again... they were all rather frightening. I feel... guilty though, because of Tural.

Tural is my best friend, hes always at my side and we do everything together... which is why my becoming anti social had done the same for him. Hes even started growling at some of the other coven members. I don't want him to get to over protective of me, don't want him to think that I need looked after... I want him to be happy and cheerful again, going around tasting things and people, chirping in cute, kinda... frog like voice. I know all this, want all of this, and yet each time I try to go out I feel myself freeze up...

I spent far to much time alone at D-Corp before my Mom took me in for good, I have been with her and her family for a long while now, I was starting to finally get comfortable around them, around other people when that happened. It feels like all the work I put into getting over my fears of being around others was completely wiped clean... just have to start over again I suppose. I want to get a hold of Damaris... she was the very first friend I made and for that reason she is the one I want to see the most now, she is strong and brave, just the person I need now. Maybe I should get a hold of her...

Kliken closed the journal, it was tucked away into the drawer of his desk under a lot of random other things, and he turned to look over to where Tural was. His precious friend was sitting at the edge of the pool, giving a huffing sound, his nostrils moving, sniffing while his eyes remained closed... he was dreaming, of food perhaps?

The leeched reached into the bag at his chest, drawing out his instrument and started to play. The soft notes were carried through the air, over to where his dragon was and slowly the tune, Tural favorite, drew the dragon out of his slumbering state. Kliken gave a smile, showing sharp teeth, "Want to come with me? I was going to get something eat." He told his friend.

The dragon blinked its small eyes at him before shuffling over, tail wagging behind him and he bumped his blunt nose against Kliken's legs. He was all for food! In his dream he had been on the trail of what had to be the most delicious thing he had ever smelled in all of his young life!

Kliken gave a soft chuckle before he put his ocarina back in the bag that hung around his neck and turned to lead the way.

If nothing else the time along had given him plenty of chances to work on learning his instrument, he was pretty sure that soon enough he would be able to move up to a more advanced version. The idea was exciting... maybe he would be lucky and he would run across Anataela while he was out he thought to himself as he walked along, headed for the kitchen. He was hungry and Tural was always hungry, now was a good a time as any to raid the fridge.

Its A Date...?: Part One

(( Done via MSN with Jayoku ))

Kuyoja was wearing his traditional Japanese robes, and he had dressed Saedah in a more form fitting girls kimono for the occasion. He had promised the woman he would...'date'. And this was the best he could do with short notice. Dinner at his place, he had prepared a traditional dinner and Sae was a bit excited for once.

She got to dress up, her father paying special attention to her hair and her clothes before he went off to make sure everything else was ready. She was expecting Kliken to be coming...which made her a bit shy..she hoped he didn't brink his dragon.

Kliken was... unimpressed by the idea of having to leave home and head to the D-Corp building to meet up with his teacher because his mother had decided that she wanted to date the guy. It was less the teacher and more his fear of running across any of those frightening, violent older kids that he'd run across on the streets a while back. He hoped that he didn't have to see any of them between the front door of the place and where they were going. He lifted a hand to fiddle with his hair which was pulled back and looking neat... something his mother had done along with picking out a nice, matching outfit that didn't show his stomach like his favored ones did. At least she let his wear the pants that went only a little passed his knees and let him talk his way out of shoes. They were so uncomfortable...

He looked over at her, giving her a once over. She'd dressed herself up too, a nice dress that was sleeveless and a pair of something she'd called 'suicide heels' though she seemed to walk on them as easily as he walked barefoot. Lots of practice she'd told him...

The last one he glanced at was Tural and he gave a soft, sighing sound... he didn't understand why she insisted he wear a ribbon around his tail, something about it making him look cuter but it made him seem more girly then anything... that and from time to time he started to chase his tail in a valiant attempt to catch hold of the ribbon.

He lifted a hand to the item hanging around his neck then smiled a bit, glad that he was able to bring it along.

"Now remember Kliken, Tural, we are going to be guests in their house so let's all get along alright? And try not to scare his daughter, alright?" This was said to the dragon who looked almost like he was pouting at the order. Lucrecia gave a smile before she turned to knock on the door lightly.

Kuyoja had been observing the last of his preparations when he heard the door knock he straightened and then moved over to answer it. His hair was combed and he was wearing contacts...normally he didn't care for such things but he felt the need for some reason. When he opened the door he looked over the trio...it didn't seem like he lingered on any of them ...too long though he opened the door far enough and back up bowing to his guests.

"Welcome to my home." He murmured, Saedah wasn't too far behind him and she was smiling nervously though she bowed as well mimicking her father.

"W..welcome." She peeped, her hair was done up in a bun the blue ribbon was used to keep it tied. She hadn't noticed Tural....

Lucrecia looked the two over before giving a bright smile, "You look very handsome Kuyoja and your daughter looks quite adorable too." She said, stepping to the side so that Kliken could step into the room next to her with Tural shuffling in to stand next to him. He looked up at Saedah as though he wanted to go over to her, his tail started to wag wildly but as though he recalled what he was told by the woman he flopped down next to Kliken and waited for his opportunity.

Kliken knelt down to pat the Cruzoor on the head before he smiled at his dragon, remaining silent. He was here because his mother wanted to be but wasn't exactly feeling that social himself.

Kuyoja noted her high heels and her formal attired and nodded his head. They may of thought it was weird what they were wearing but it didn't matter to him...he was a very traditional man.

"You look very nice." He managed to say though his rather...stern face made it hard to tell it he was impressed he then gestured for the pair to come further inside of the house.

"Dinner isn't ready yet... hope you don't have any allergies." He mentioned as he half turned away to lead them into the small apartment.

Saedah tried to give Kliken a shy smile but as soon as she saw Tural her face paled and she swallowed a peeping sound as she felt her body start to shake. No no no he brought that thing here.... fearfully she found herself staring at the floor. What should she do? Flee? Say hello?

Lucrecia seemed to be quite delightedly with the compliment despite the fact that Kuyoja seemed to remain quite stern even while saying it. Traditional men... that they were still in existence in this day and age had her rather delighted, it had been a long while since she'd seen one like this. She stepped inside and out of her shoes so as not to scuff up the floor of his nice place though it did leave her a few inches shorter.

Kliken glanced over at the girl when he heard the sound she made and felt... sympathetic and some sort of kinship with her given his own fears of things, "He's been told not to scare you." He murmured, patting a hand against Tural's head and the dragon gave a chirp and a nod as though to agree.

Kuyoja paused as he heard her take off her shoes, luckily he still had some slippers for quests use. He moved to the closet and pulled out a pair that probably would be a bit big for her but would do. He knelt as he then offered to put the slipper on her feet.

Sae swallowed trying to hide her shaking hands behind her back when Kliken spoke to her . She looked up at him as if trying to avoid looking at Tural directly.

"...a....t...thanks." she murmured quickly though it was easy to tell she was still nervous about the idea of the dragon even being near her, "Uh..d..did..you ..w..want...to..see..m....my room?"

"That is quite kind of you, Kuyoja." The woman murmured when he knelt down to offer her a pair to slippers to wear over her stockings. She lifted her foot to slid it into teh one he was holding, "Kinda feel like Cinderella." She chuckled as she said, winking at the man before looking over at her son and his dragon.

"If your going to play you behave alright?" She told them.

Kliken looked up at his mother before nodding, "Sure, Saedah. Let's go see your room." He fiddled with the pouch around his neck as he waited for the snake girl to lead the way.

Kuyoja didn't reply to her Cinderella comment as he then stood back up as she now had some slippers on.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" he inquired to her before nodding his consent to his daughter to allow her to take Kliken to her room.

Saedah nodded her head in response to her fathers nod ad then...hurriedly moved off to show Kliken her room. She ...thought maybe in the presence of her room she could feel more brave.

"U...h..t..this..s..is th..the bathr..room." She motioned with a shakey wave of her hand as they moved down the hallway.

When the came to her room it was ...neat and tidy..not a thing out of place. All her stuffies sat on her bed, a small tea set, Japanese in style; on a small table beside her bed.

"h..here w...we..are.." She murmured as she quickly moved into her room and to the furthest wall possible.

Lucrecia starred at Kuyoja for a long moment, eyes flittering to his throat and the strong pulse there before she lifted a hand to smother a little giggle, "I doubt you know how tempting it is but we should wait until longer then our first date before we share a drink, Kuyoja Darling." She said with a grin.

Kliken nodded the followed along after her, looking over to Tural who shuffled along after them two of them. His little eyes went to the girl's tail and his tongue lolled out as he considered catching hold of it to taste it... he had to resist and be good!

The leech boy gave him a glance before he looked at all the of things that she pointed out, looking into her room. It was pretty he thought to himself, "Its... a nice room." He told her quietly.

Kuyoja nodded his head simply accepting her claim though he meant...like juice not alcoholic beverages.

"I have tea if you would prefer...though I was saving that til after dinner." He replied as he then gestured for Lucrecia to follow him into the dining room.

"so tell me about yourself. Outside of the classroom I don't see many of my students." The biggest exception being Orpheus and his crew of children.

Saedah coiled her body around herself as if she had mentally anticipated that Tural wanted to pounce her. She hugged her body as if she was unsure what to say at this point. What would she do if Tural wasn't here? She questioned herself.

Moving..hesitantly her gaze flicking to Tural and then her goal she went to gather her favorite stuffed animal, she then held it out to Kliken.

"T..th..this is..Mizuri." She murmured softly, the doll was of..a spotted owl plush.

She smiled and followed along after him, thinking on it. She wondered on how she was supposed to brooch the subject of her diet with him or more over the fact that her son was similar. She had brought him something to eat though and it was tucked away into her purse that was hung over one shoulder, "If your saving it we can wait." She wasn't sure if it were among his traditions and didn't want to upset such a thing.

She followed after him, looking around his place as they went, "You have a very nice place here." She murmured before looking at him, "It suits you. My place is a bit of an eclectic mess, things from every age gathered up and sitting on various flat surfaces."

"I am glad to see that I special in getting to see you outside of the classroom then." She gave a smile before tilting her head to the side, "Hmmm, about me? Let's see here... I am the matriarch of my family if you would believe that, though its a rather small group. Only five of us, my servant Than, my son, and Tural."

"Mizuri." Kliken murmured, looking the doll over. Seemed like a girl thing to have he thought and then seemed to think it over before he opened his pouch and showed off the item inside, a ceramic instrument that he carried with him everywhere he went. Since she was showing off her things he figured he should do the same, sharing might make things easier between them.

Kuyoja didn't comment about the having her see him outside of work. He felt more out of place now than he did teaching his students, not that he would ever admit that out loud. He wondered if she wanted anything at all and though he wasn't about to make her sit on the floor there was some pillows to sit on that were on the floor. He offered her a chair as he then sat down on the floor feeling more comfortable there. He sat his posture rigidly straight. One would think he had an iron rode strapped to his back.

"You consider your servant apart of your family?" He questioned making sure he wasn't getting the information mixed up.

Saedah tilted her head her curiosity getting the best of her as she looked at the instrument in his hand.

"w...what is that?" she asked quietly her gaze continued to flicker in Tural's direction as if she expected him to suddenly pounce.

Lucrecia took a seat on the chair, crossing her legs and let her hands rest on them before she leaned forward so that she could watch the man who was in front of her, sitting on the floor, "He is... more like a confidant and someone who does things for me when I can't do them myself. There are often times I am unable to go out and he will go out in my stead." She explained to Kuyoja, giving a smile.

He gave a smile as he ran his hand over it, "Its called an ocarina, its a time of instrument." He said, taking a seat on the ground. He patted the floor and Tural moved to lay down behind him so he could lean against the dragon, "Here listen."

Kliken lifted the item up to his lips, his eyes sank closed, and he set to playing a song for her, it didn't take long for Tural to chime in, singing along in his chirping, frog like voice.

Its A Date...?: Part Two

(( Done via MSN with Jayoku ))

Kuyoja didn't feel it was proper to criticize someone on how they treated their hired help. He was sure that the man was a great asset to her, and there was no further reason to discuss the matter.

"You seem to be a brilliant smart woman, I find it hard to imagine you not being able to do anything." He expressed the compliment plainly as if it was an obvious enough observation not worth sounding impressed about. It was his weird way of ....flirting? Given who he was, the stern gaze the rigid posture...it was hard to say what he was thinking.

Saedah pulled her spotted owl plush to her chest as she listened to the music. She felt her eyes droop and she then closed them though the tune was unfamiliar she could gather the tune of it and hummed shyly along with it. It sounded nice...and the sound of it relieved her fears temporarily. The frog chirping sounds actually made her eyes snap open as she tried to figure out where it was coming from. When she figured out it was Tural she giggled nervously and pointed at Tural with a shaky hand.

"He...he...sounds ...like a kero..."

Lucrecia gave a bit of a smile as she leaned forward and watched the man as he sat there before she nodded, "Well as much as I wish I were as powerful as you make me sound everyone has a weakness." She said with a little shrug, "I thank you though for the compliment." He was a cute thing wasn't he? She lifted a hand to tap it against her chin in a thoughtful manner then asked, "Do you date often, Kuyoja Darling?" She asked of him, it seemed as though he were a bit stiff... maybe he wasn't one that went out often so maybe he didn't know what he was doing, "I promise that I won't bite... tonight at least, "She gave him a wink, "So you can relax around me if you like."

Kliken paused in the music, looking up at Saedah before he looked over his shoulder at the Cruzoor, "A Kero?" he asked, curiously not sure what that meant.

Tural seemed to perk up when he saw that she was pointing at him, his tail starting to thud on the ground behind him in an excited manner. She was looking at him! That meant that surely she liked him!

Kuyoja looked at her, his face still rather void of anything other than a stern expression.
"Relax?" He echoed the comment in the form of a question.

"I am relaxed. This is how I am. Were you expecting something different?" He asked wondering if she found him weird now. But that did't cause him to change his posture or smile....he was how he was. Stiff.

Saedah retracted her hand as soon as Tural's tail started to thump against the floor. She hugged her toy to her chest tightly trying to not bury her face into the fluffly faux fur.

"...Y..ye...es...a...K..kk...kk....keero..." She stuttered, she tried to clear her head and not let her mind spiral into a panic attack. "A..a...f..f.ro....og."

The woman did her best to keep from giggling, "I see, I thought maybe I was making you nervous." She said, then lifted a hand to reach out to him, running her fingertips through his hair, "Your hair is a beautiful color." She commented instead of saying whether or not she were expecting this or not. If it were how was he was then it just made him appear more interesting, like an enigma of sorts.

"Ohhh, I see... Yeah. He does sound like one those when he sings. He also makes a funny sort of huffing sound if hes excited in anyway." Be it good or bad when the Cruzoor was excited the sound he made was amusing to the leech boy. He leaned back more onto the dragon to keep him still since he could tell just by the sound of his breathing that Tural wanted to pounce the girl. Something that would end badly he was certain.

Kuyoja didn't move as she touched his hair, it was his hair...nothing new. He didn't mind having his personal bubble invaded by her, though he didn't understand her interest in his hair.

"Thank you." He replied formally his hands lay on his legs, rather than looking relaxed he appeared as if ready to jump up at anytime. The position looked...painful...but after years of doing it he was use to the feeling.

"Are you sure you don't want anything? I fear I am being a terrible host." He voiced his opinion in a very flat manner.

Saedah nodded her head giving a shy smile to Kliken.

"My papa calls them Keropi's. Bu...t..Kero..i..is the sou..sound they make." She murmured shyly as she hugged her owl plush more she shifted on the spot forcing her gaze to focus on the leech boy. "W...h...ere did..y..you get...get..th...at?" she inquired politely.

Lucrecia continued to love on the man's hair until he spoke and she drew her hand back so as not to make him feel uncomfortable... though she wondered if she would be able to tell if he liked something or not were she to do anything to him that he did or didn't like. She looked quite curious before giving the man a smile, "Of course your not a terrible host and you needn't worry... I should have warned you that I have a very... specific diet. I had to eat before coming so there is nothing that I need at the moment other then your company, Darling."

"That's neat, hear that Tural? You sound like a Keropi when you sing." He said with a smile.

The dragon gave a happy chirp, his tail starting to wag that much faster behind him and after a moment he did start to make the cute, huffing sounds that Kliken had mentioned he made. He wanted to go and give the girl love! This was the toughest thing ever having to behave and stay with Kliken... he watched her for a moment before he turned his attention to what was around him, trying to distract himself with something else.

"Hm? This? It was a gift from my mother back when I got over being sick." He explained, "I was... so bad when I first started but now I am not so bad."

Kuyoja nodded his head slowly wondering why she would eat before coming over for dinner of all things.

"I don't expect everyone to enjoy my cuisine but you could of told me what you eat, I could of altered the menu for you." He responded though he didn't sound annoyed he shifted on the spot slightly.

"Tell me what you do for a living." He requesting formally.

Saedah blinked as she looked to the Ocarina and then to Kliken her gaze skipped over Tural as if to help deal with her anxiety of him being there.

".....w..hy...." she started...if had been bugging her...everyone was so excited to get their dragons...but she wasn't. She didn't want to have anything to do with them. After her meeting with Baroness she didn't want to meet another dragon ever. Fidgeting on the spot she tucked a stray pink strand of hair behind her ear and then looked about her room.

"why....d..do...y..ou...l..like..?" She asked giving a vague wave in the dragon's direction.

"Your very sweet to offer that to me but shouldn't you ask about what I eat before offering to alter a menu for me?" She asked with a bit of a wink. She found him to be so sweet to offer such a thing so easily, then again she doubted highly that he often had someone like her over for dinner. She shifted to let her feet both rest on the floor, leaning forward a bit, "What I do for a living? Hmm... let's see here. For the most part I just take care of my family, I am from... very, very old money, " It wasn't a complete lie, "So we live quite comfortably." Aside from now and again when outsiders tried to mess with her family and made her have to give up her comfortable, easy life to deal with those sorts.

Kliken looked at Tural for a moment before he rolled onto his side to he could lean over the young dragon, hugging him before giving him a smile, "Tural kept me going" He murmured quietly, "When... things were very bleak for me... I knew that I could keep going because one day I would have him and he wouldn't ever leave me like..." He trailed off and lowered his head to rest it on the dragon's back, listening to the sounds of his breathing and heartbeat.

Kuyoja couldn't begin to guess what was so specific about her diet that he couldn't prepare it.

"I am the host. I would want you as comfortable as possible in my home." He replied with a nod of his head. He listened quietly as she explained that she didn't really work, not that , that was a bad thing.

"My family is fairly old as well." He started though he meant it as a lineage thing...though that was a bit broken as his mother wasn't of Japanese decent.

"Though my parents moved away from the tradition of keeping the bloodlines pure.." he mentioned as he fingered his red hair.

Chewing on her lip Saedah felt as if she said something she shouldn't of. She had touched on a subject that made Kliken sad...and she didn't like that. She slithered forward a bit...trying to be brave...but getting close to Tural was...hard.

"I..." she started and then she bent over to put her stuffy down and the outstretched her arms to Kliken in a gesture of wanting a hug, "I...m.m...may be...s..scared...o..if...T..ur..ral...b..ut...I...am..g..gllllad t...o hav...e...me...met you." she stammered horrendously.

She looked at his hair before giving a smile, "Probably a good decision on their part, many royal families seemed to suffer when they decided to keep things... pure." She said, sounding for a moment as though she had first hand understanding... which couldn't possibly be true. She leaned back into her seat, resting comfortably, "Bringing in new bloods keeps people strong." Not that it exactly mattered when it came to a family like hers... though adding new people to the family did seem to stir things up like when Kliken and Tural joined them.

Kliken opened his eyes when she came close before he blinked a couple times as she reached toward him, his body stiffened for a moment before he realized what she wanted and he relaxed. She wasn't a scary one at all... in fact she seemed like she just wanted a hug. He gave a smile and wrapped his arms around her to share the gesture. He loved hugs at one point, before people started to make him nervous so this was rather nice. He drew back when Tural started to nibble on his arm, gazing up at them with huge eyes that said he wanted some hugs too! The look caused Kliken to giggle.

Kuyoja nodded his head and then finally went to stand up, he wanted to get some tea ready as dinner would be ready fairly quickly.
"I am preparing some tea...would you or your son want any?" He inquired slipping his hands into his long sleeves he looked down at her whilst awaiting her answer. The talk of bloodlines wasn't his favorite topic...

Saedah enjoyed the hug even if she was trembling during it. She didn't want to be closer to Tural she was being very brave right now and when he moved to nibble on Kliken she retracted her own limbs a bit hasitly it could of been seen as rude but she didn't want Tural nibbling her, she backed up some...out of habit.

Lucrecia rose when he did, not wanting to just sit around and let him do all the work even though that was normally how things went at home. Than would prepare dinner and serve it for those that were eating that night and they would await that meal at the table. It was different when one was out visiting though, "I... brought food for Kliken." She said, patting her purse, "Due to what he is he is limited in what he can eat, the same meal as what a leech would eat. Most everything else seems to disagree with his stomach."

She sounded the part of a concerned mother as she glanced back toward where the children had gone, "It was why they had a tough time finding him a parent that would care for him long before bringing him back." She looked as though she wanted nothing more then to meet those people after dark... Then she put a more pleasant smile on her face.

Kliken watched as Saedah moved away from him and he gave a smile, digging into his pocket he took out a plastic baggy. He held it up for the snake girl to see, "Algae blocks." He held it out to Tural and the dragon licked it up before he set to chewing on it, "Its a good way to distract him. Want one? In case he comes over to you tonight?"

Kuyoja listened politely as she explained that Kliken too ate a special diet. He knew what leeches consumed and it didn't bother him.

"I can put his dinner in something so he doesn't feel strange eating." He mentioned as he moved towards the kitchen to gather the dinner together.

"I am glad to hear that he had a permanent home. You really care for him and that is something all children need." He said with a nod of his head. He recalled how he had ..at first been out of sorts with his own daughter. She had been terrified of him at first. Hid everywhere...cried a lot.

"I honestly was never sure they had gotten the right person to look after Saedah. She was so scared and timid..." He commented more offhandedly than making conversation.
Saedah shook her head rather violently at the offered algae block she didn't want it. No reason to invite the dragon closer to her by having his favorite treat.

"...n...no..t..than..t...tha..." She started with a tremble in her body.

"Thank you." She said, perking up before she followed after him. When they were in the kitchen she took out the blood bag and held it out to him, "It means a lot to me that you would help him out in such a manner." She was a little worried that maybe the little girl would end up afraid of Kliken if she knew what he ate but if he were to put the food in something it would help out a lot. She set her bag aside then and watched the food that he had made, "It looks good, wish I could indulge." It all smelled good too... made gaining a taste of that food through Kuyoja that much more tempting but she told herself to behave. She wouldn't make friends with him if she pounced him and took a bite on their first date after all.

"She seems to be doing really well though, especially compared to the last time I saw her." When she'd had to save her from Tural. Now the girl seemed to be able to at least deal with the dragon, "So you much be doing something right."

Kliken nodded, tucking them away, "I will toss him another one if he starts heading in your direction." He assured her, he half wondered if Saedah were going to get a dragon of her own... and what would happen at that point.

Kuyoja stirred the soup he had prepared as a entry...maybe they would just have soup and dessert. Making the large meal seemed a bit pointless now since their guests had such specific eatings needs. It didn't bother him. He was sure he could tempt his co-worked Orpheus with some of the leftovers. He gathered a couple of bowels and cups before moving to set the table . He wasn't about to force his quests to sit on the floor.

"we can put some in a bowl as well a cup if you prefer." He mentioned as he set everything up perfectly.

Saedah felt relieved and nodded her head, that would be good...if Kliken could keep Tural away from her. She wished the dragon would leave...only because she wanted to get to know Kliken better...but ws far too scared to get closer to him with the little dragon so close by.

"I...i'm s..sorry. I..d..don't...m..mean..t..to be ru..rude." she stammered feeling tears of frustration brimming in her eyes.

"That would be great." She said with a happy smile on her face and picked on of the cups out for her son and pour the thick, red liquid into it. The scent was tempting and he was glad that she had a good control over her desires and hungers after many years of training herself in such a manner... though the scent did make Kuyoja more attractive to her and made the sound of his heart become more clear to her as it did when she went hunting.

Kliken leaned back against Tural to remind him that he was supposed to stay with him even though he could tell there was nothing else in the world the dragon currently wanted other then the treat he was nomming on, "Hes actually not so bad but since you look scared I will make sure he is good." He assured her, not wanting her to think she were being rude but also wanting her to know that the dragon wasn't mean like... some others he'd seen.

Kuyoja continued to ready the meal as he poured two regular bowls of soup for himself and Saedah before moving to place them on the table.

"Are you sure you don't want any?" He inquired again out of politeness. Though he didn't want to push her into eating something he didn't want to leave her out either. The blood...didn't bother him it was being used to help nourish a rather unique child so it didn't bother him in the least.

Saedah shifted on her coils still nervous and unsure. She was being a terrible hostess...making things so awkward between the two with her fear of dragons. She lifted her head when she flickered her tongue out and 'smelt' the soup.

"....I ..t..think...d..dinner is r..ready." She murmured.

She gave a smile as she took her seat next to the one she'd picked for her son, "I thank you for your kind offer but I should be alright at the moment." So long as she kept herself in check that was, though a little voice in her head asked: What would one little taste hurt? She smiled a bit more brightly at the thought, wondering what he might taste like. It was dependent on his diet so seeing what he ate would give her a good clue.

Kliken looked toward where they'd come from, "Alright, should we go and join our parents?" He asked, hoping against hope that they weren't kissing again...

Kuyoja had by now dished out soup in two bowls for his daughter and himself before he...out of habit set out tea cups for Lucrecia and Kliken and he poured the ..contents of the blood bag into the cup as well the bowl so he could feel more ...like a normal kid. Plus this way Saedah wouldn't get as freaked out if he treated it all normal.

Saedah looked towards her door and nodded her head slowly clasping her hands in front of her body she tried not to fidget but it was easy to see she wanted to leave the room but didn't want to go past Tural.

Kliken looked back and forth between the girl and Tural before he pushed up to his feet, stretched out before he motioned to the Cruzoor, "Come on Tural, you lead the way alright? Show us where Mom and her Dad are at?"

Tural gave a nod of his head, sniffed at the floor, then started on his way to find the woman and man... he caught their scents pretty quickly and hurried off to find them first.

The leech boy gave a little chuckle before he looked over at Sae, "He's still pretty young so hes easy to trick." He whispered, not wanting to Tural to hear him and have his feelings hurt.

Saedah relaxed visibly as soon as Tural left the room, she even gave a bit of a giggle raising a hand to her mouth as she then slithered up to Kliken's side and took his hand in hers and gave it a squeeze.

"T..thanks for that." She murmured happily, she was a very cute child but when nervous she tended to clam up with the dragon she suddenly had a world of things she wanted to ask and show Kliken, but it was dinner time so...if she was lucky maybe she could show him after dinner.

"Hehehe..lets head for dinner." She said with another giggle.

Kliken smiled as he looked down at her then started down the hall, "If he gets a lot to eat at dinner there is a chance he will falls asleep. He does a lot when hes full." He told her, he would see about feeding Tural a few of his algae blocks and maybe if there were left overs of dinner they could give the dragon some of that... well so long as the man was alright with it.

Lucrecia lifted her gaze when she heard the distinct sound of Tural's shuffling walk and exciting, huffing sounds as he reached her side and lifted up to lay his hands on her legs and his head on top of them. He looked up at her in a happy manner at finding her first before looking in the direction that he'd come from, waiting for Kliken and the nice, pretty girl to join them.

Saedah nodded her head slowly, it would be nice to have some alone time with the boy, to show him her toys and her favorite books, suddenly her mind was a buzz of all the things she could do with Kliken.

Kuyoja looked as the little dragon shuffled into the dining room and then basically 'claimed' Lucrecia. His gaze was dragged over to where Kliken and Saedah were coming and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly as he spotted them holding hands.

"Come we have dinner already on the table." He said with a nod of his head.

Kliken walked over to the table, making sure to keep himself between Saedah and the dragon so that she wouldn't get scared of him again. When he reached the table he reached a hand out to pat Tural on the head before he let go of Sae so that she could sit down.
He then moved around the table to take up the seat that his mother motioned for him to sit down in.

"Are you two getting along then? Isn't that nice." She murmured, not really all to bothered by the holding hands thing since she was just happy to see her son socializing again.

Saedah looked to Lucrecia and gave her a shy smile, she still thought the woman was so pretty, and she liked how she smiled. She looked to her father in a hopeful manner that the 'date' was going well. She would love to have a mother around. She clambered onto the chair and looked eagerly at the bowl of soup, though she wondered why her father hadn't put out more.

Kuyoja didn't comment as he sat down himself and then gestured for the rest to start the meal. He then went about pouring tea for himself and his daughter and poured Lucrecia a cup without asking as he still felt that he needed to give her...something.

Kliken looked down into the bowl and cup before him and his eyes widened at what he saw there, then smiled in a happy manner. They had set out his normal meal but in the dishes that they were eating out of. He couldn't help but feel rather happy at the fact that he got to be a part of the meal.

Lucrecia looked over at her son, ruffling his hair before she turned to look at the tea that was set out for her, "Thank you, Kuyoja Darling." She murmured, taking the tea though she wouldn't be able to drink it. It at least gave her something to hold onto while the others ate their meal.

Saedah waited with a small smile as she watched her father take his spoon and then as if giving her some sot of silent signal she went to gather her spoon and ladled some of the liquid into it. She hadn't noticed that Kliken's 'soup' was rather different from theirs.

Kuyoja wasn't exactly sure what they were going to do after dinner, other than talk. He supposed though if Lucrecia got bored they could end their..'date' there. But at least Saedah was getting some time with children close to her age. He often felt like it was his fault with his busy schedule that she didn't get to meet a lot of kids her age.

"Yum." Saedah said with a giggle as she attempted to NOT slurp her soup.

Kliken watched the manner that the two across from his mother and himself set to eating and he followed suit, eating his own meal without worry and without his normal fear that they might think badly of him because of what he ate. Normally the only ones that saw him eat were his family, Than, and Tural all of which didn't seem to mind at all.

"Good stuff Kliken?" She murmured to him, smiling when he nodded in a happy manner. She seemed quite delighted, on hand petting over the dragon who's head was resting on her lap. He was such a good boy though he looked a bit sleepy didn't he? Much be all the excitement and walking about.

Saedah continued to eat her own soup gleefully as she came to the last spoonful she politely put her spoon down beside the bowl and then looked at her father who was still slowly eating away.

So she looked to Lucrecia and gave her a happy smile trying to avoid looking at the sleepy Tural just so she could keep her calm state.
"How goes the date?" She asked hopefully.

There was a slight chocking sound that came in Kuyoja's direction as he lowered his spoon and then took another sip of his soup as if nothing had happened at all.

Lucrecia glanced over at the man, lifting an eyebrow before giving a soft laugh. So he did have reactions like that, huh? She couldn't help but find some delight in that, "I think its going quite well so far for a first date." She said to Saedah, smiling at her.

Kliken looked between the man and his mother, not sure what he thought about his mother dating one of his teachers. It seemed kind of strange to him but... if it made her happy he shouldn't complain.

Saedah nodded her head and then she leaned forward slightly using a hand to cup the side of her mouth as if thinking that could...prevent her father from hearing.

"Have you kissed again?" She asked hopefully, though she winced as she heard her dad clearing his throat.

"Saedah..." Came Kuyoja's firm tone, "Let Lucrecia enjoy herself. Don't pester her with questions like that." He stated plainly as he placed his spoon down beside his bowl signaling he was finished as well.

Saedah looked a bit crestfallen and then sat back in her chair still casing a look between the woman and her dad before she settled on looking at Kliken.

"Enjoying yourself?" She inquired trying to make pleasant conversation.

Lucrecia lifted her hand up to hide a giggle before she 'shielded' her mouth from Kuyoja and mouth the words, 'Not yet' to Saedah before giving her wink and lowered her hand back to petting Tural. She wondered if Kuyoja were embarrassed over the idea of anyone knowing he was kissing someone? What a cute thought.

Kliken finished his meal before nodding, "Yes, its been nice." He murmured.

Lucrecia looked over at her son before smiling, "I am glad that your having fun." The boy spent far to much time with just him and Tural hanging out in his room. He wasn't old enough to do that yet... he needed to be a teenager before he started to do such things if you asked her.

Saedah puffed one cheek out at the response that Lucrecia gave her, what were they waiting for? Why didn't they kiss more? Maybe she was just being impatient...cause she really liked Lucrecia...and so desperately wanted her to be her mother. Kliken was so lucky to have her as a mother.

"When your done I can show you my favorite game and books." She chimed as she tried not to look impatient as she tossed her father a look of 'get a move on' before she slid from her chair eagerly wanting to play with Kliken though she wanted to desperately talk to Lucrecia...but...Tural was in the way.

Kuyoja sighed only slightly as he then went about gathering the empty bowls.

"Saedah you need to wait for your guest to finish before rushing him off to show him your things." He scolded her lightly and the pink hair girl cringed and nodded her head mumbling sorry to Kliken.

Kliken was about to answer her that he would like to see her things when the man spoke up and he went quiet, looking over at him. He gave Kuyoja a momentary look before he turned his attention back to his food, eating quietly though working on finishing off what was left so that he and Saedah could go and talk some more.

Lucrecia watched her date, the poor guy seemed to have been raised to be so stiff... she wondered what he would seem like if he were to relax in the manner that regular people did. She decided to really get him to relax he would probably need to get drunk... the idea of the red head drunk caused her to chuckle to herself because she couldn't quite see something like that happening. He didn't seem the sort to get rip roaring drunk in the least, "You can always talk with me while he finishes up if you like." Her hands stroked gently over Tural and seemed to be causing the dragon to doze off as she did so. She looked up at Kuyoja, "Unless you need help clearing the table, Kuyoja Darling." She offered so as not to be a bad guest.

Kuyoja was raised to be polite to his guests, though his frigid nature was do to perhaps a bit too much training to gain a firm control on his emotions. He was nearly impossible to anger but he continued to clean he tucked his hair behind an ear and motioned that Saedah was to help him.

"No you are our guest, Saedah and I will finish cleaning up." He stated as Saedah knowing this moved to help her father clean up. SHe wondered why the meal was ...so short. Lucrecia didn't even eat anything.

"Bu...t..papa...a...are we..stil..l...g..getting d..dessert?" she asked a bit nervously.

He looked to her briefly before nodding his head.

"Yes Pumpkin." He replied and Saedah gave him a smile. Pumpkin was her special nickname that he only used on occasion. Feeling better she moved about cleaning up with no further questions though she gave Tural a wide birth before she reappeared from the kitchen and moved over to sit back down whilst she waited for Kliken to finish.

Kuyoja noted that Lucrecia had...merely held her cup of tea but he didn't comment on it. Perhaps she didn't like tea. It had been rude of him to assume she enjoyed it as much as he did.

"Perhaps later I can interest you in something else." He murmured as he took her cup gently.

Lucrecia watched the pair quietly and worried that perhaps this was a bad idea. It seemed as though the fact that she and Kliken couldn't eat normal food had ruined the meal for Kuyoja and his daughter. She leaned back in her seat quietly, her smile fading as she took on a more thoughtful look. She allowed the cup she had been hoping to be taken and she nodded, "Ahh, perhaps." She murmured.

The Leech boy was feeling a bit uncomfortable all of a sudden, looking over at his mother for some sort of direction but even she seemed to be a bit quieter then normal.

Kuyoja's expression never seemed to change as he continued to clean up, noting the sudden discomfort in the room though he wasn't exactly sure how it had occurred.

"Saedah, " he spoke then he looked a tad thoughtful as he tried to formulate the ...appropriate words.

"If Kliken is done eating you can go play. I will clean up the rest." He stated finally with a slight nod of his head. His contacts were bothering him. He shouldn't of bothered with them.

Saedah looked up to him and then nodding her head she looked to Kliken offering him a small smile.

The woman looked over at Kliken and motioned for him to go and play with his friend, "Go ahead." She murmured, rising her feet.

The boy looked at his mother then pushed to his feet so that he could go with Saedah, glad that the two of them would be able to go and play, to escape from the tense room, "Let's go and see that stuff you were talking about." He said with a smile.

When the kids were heading out the woman looked over at Kuyoja, giving him a little smile, "I am sorry if I ruined your dinner, Kuyoja Darling." She murmured.

Saedah wasn't exactly sure why the dinner got so tense she felt a bit sick in her stomach wondering if she accidentally ruined it. She didn't want to think on it. So instead she let out a sigh and folded her hands in front of her.

"Your so lucky....your mother is so pretty...and nice." She lamented as they headed to her room.

Kuyoja only looked to Lucrecia before giving a small shrug in response to her apology.

"It cannot be helped. Though if you had told me your dietary needs I am sure I could of accommodated for you." He replied simple as he half turned and gestured for Lucrecia to follow him.

"Come..we can take a small walk around...I have a nice view from our balcony." He continued waiting for her to follow.

Kliken looked over at her then back over his shoulder before he nodded in agreement. He was somewhat glad to see that the dragon had stayed behind, probably asleep at the moment... but it would let Saedah relax some. He relaxed when they headed into her room once more.

Lucrecia felt as though she were being reprimanded by the man, something that hadn't happened in a very, very long time. She followed after him toward the balcony with a thoughtful look on her face.

Saedah puffed out a cheek before giggling some as they entered her room again.

"Oh!" she stated the one thought in her mind suddenly flying out the window as she moved over to find her favorite books and games. She didn't have much electronic stuff so for board games it was a simple one. Snakes and ladders. She showed the boy it as she laughed.

"Papa gave this to me. Its cute...there are little drawings of snakes on the board and ladders too." she said with a smile and tilt of her head. She...was a much more different person when she wasn't nervous.

Kuyoja lead the woman to the balcony it was small, but large enough to fit two adults comfortably. The night air was a bit cool but he merely slipped his hands into his sleeves as he looked about and then into the night sky.

"When it is late enough you can see the stars from here." He commented.

Kliken gave a little laugh as he looked over the game, "Heh, nice. It has snakes on it." He murmured, she must love having a game with a snake on it. He looked over at the girl and smiled, "Do you want to play?" He asked, not really sure how to play the game but willing to learn.

Lucrecia turned around to lean against the railing on the balcony, looking over at Kuyoja for a moment before giving him a smile, "You know... maybe I was a little nervous." She told him, "Its been eons since I have been on a date and I didn't want to start off explaining my dietary needs to someone, especially someone that is so hard for even me to read."

Saedah looked very pleased at this idea. She had never played with anyone close to her age before. Kuyoja had...tried to play it with her, but...he...just...couldn't get into the game. She loved her papa but ...sometimes he could really ruin a fun game.

"okay I will set it up." she chirped as she moved to settle the game down on the floor and then began unpacking the pieces.

"what color you want to be?" She asked her reddish eyes looking at him with delight.
Kuyoja didn't seem to notice that he was being looked over and he only glanced at her before looking back out into the night air.

"Well it seems we have something in common then. I never really dated when I was younger." He replied simply though he suppose given how she said she was nervous he felt a bit in agreement on that.

"I am that hard to read?" he inquired softly as if he never really thought on that before.

"Food, is what it is. Regardless of its form...I am sure it couldn't be so weird that I wouldn't of understood." He continued with a nod of his head.

Kliken looked rather excited as well, he didn't get to play with people nearly enough. In fact he just had been hiding out of late hanging out with Tural and a lot of grown ups... this was going to be a delightful change of pace compared to what it was that he was used to doing for entertainment, "If there is blue I would like to be blue." It was one of his favorite colors.

Lucrecia gave him a little smile, "A little hard to read, yes." She murmured before he gave a little smile at his comment about food, "I see, well its tough. Not everyone can understand and some have even hunted my family, killed members of it just because we are different."

She gave a soft sigh, "Its become a lot easier when Than came on, hes an understanding sort and helps us out greatly... though I am sure many wouldn't quite understand his lot in life or why he does it willingly." Than was a good boy, so willing to serve her family in any way needed of him. In return they took care good care of him for his faithful service.

Its A Date...?: Part Four

(( Done via MSN with Jayoku ))

Saedah was thrilled to play this game with someone who actually would enjoy playing it. She excitedly set up the pieces and handed Kliken the blueish game piece before claiming the red for her own.

"Now you roll the dice...and you move your piece the number that shows on it." She explained, "If you land on a ladder you move up to the adjacent square, but..." she gave a giggling sound, "if you land on a snake you will slide down to the square it is joined to." She continued, "The point it to get to the top square first." She concluded before she handed Kliken the die, "You can go first."

Kuyoja listened quietly as she explained though what she could possible eat that would cause people to hunt her and her family down he couldn't be sure. Drugs? No...that didn't seem right.

"If you don't wish to discuss it we don't have to." he commented sending a bit of her unease.

Kliken listened to the rules before he gave a nod of his head, "I see, sounds simple enough." He said with a smile, he should be able to do this! He looked at the die that was held out to him and he took it carefully from Saedah before giving it the first roll. It rolled along and landed on a three. He counted forward that many steps then gave a laugh as he just barely missed a ladder, "Almost."

Lucrecia glanced over at Kuyoja for a long moment, tempted to drop the conversation right there but figured since it was on the table she might as well, "Oh believe me, this isn't something that I bring up in friendly conversation often. As the leader of my family its my job to look after my group, saying out loud who we are means that I am putting us in danger." She leaned her head back so she could look up at the stars, "You don't seem like a hunter though, they have a certain scent about them of old blood and death... your free of that so I feel like your safe to talk with."

Saedah nodded her head as she watched Kliken move his piece across the board. ...it hadn't dawned on her until this moment..that it would be nice to have a sibling. Someone she could play with snuggle with..sure Papa was good but he wasn't exactly the snugly type.

"My turn." she chirped as she picked up the die and rolled it. A one. She laughed gaily as she moved her piece one square.

"That was a terrible roll." She giggled.

Kuyoja just listened, he was good for that very good as listening to people talk without asking a million questions or interrupting. He was a patient man, though he felt the hairs no the back of his rise ever so slightly as she spoke. The way she spoke made it sound like her family was the dangerous sort. He wouldn't judge but he turned to look at her; his gaze looked her over as if trying to piece together what she was telling him.

"I am flattered you feel you can trust me." He spoke finally though it didn't sound like he was flattered...then again that was just how he was.

Kliken giggled, "I am sure you will do better the next time he said with a smile as he got the die again and gave it a another roll to see where he got this time. He rather liked this... it was a lot more fun to play games like this with a friend then just hanging out alone. He was happy that he had been allowed to come along on his mother's date to meet Saedah. He was glad that she seemed less afraid this time as well.

The woman tilted her head to look over at him while leaning back on the railing and gave him a smile, "Of course, I wouldn't be able to date someone I couldn't trust." She said with a little laugh before leaning forward. The man was kind of cute wasn't he? The way he could speak of such things without the blink of an eye, "You really can be sweet can't you?" It was hard see but... she wondered if she spent enough time near to him she could be able to better read the man.

Saedah nodded her head as she watched him move his peice and then took the die and rolled as well. Yes...much more fun with Kliken than her Papa.

"Kliken..." she started as she found herself rather shy...
"D...do you think my papa and your...mama....will....get married?" She asked softly.

The red haired man didn't think he had been sweet...he had...just stated the facts...then again he wasn't the best person to know how dating and flirting worked.

"If you say so. I am just stating the facts." He murmured as he ...looked back to the night sky.

He wondered...and yet he didn't really want to think badly of the woman, but he somehow had a feeling her diet was also the reason he had only ever seen her at night.

"Perhaps next time I won't invite you to dinner...perhaps we could go to a garden instead."

Kliken's eyes went wide at the question, "M-Married?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, "Umm... I... don't know, maybe?" Was his mother thinking about marrying the man? Wasn't this their first date? Shouldn't they wait a little longer? He wasn't sure why he was worried about the idea... he just was. The idea of his family that he was so used to getting changed suddenly caused his stomach to do a flip flop.

Lucrecia tilted her head to the side, "That would be nice, so long as we could find one that is still open after the sun goes down." She murmured, "I know there are some night time flowers but not sure if there are enough for a garden that we could visit." It probably depended on the one who was growing it and what was growing in it. She gave the man a smile as she watched him and started to wonder on what he'd said earlier. He said he didn't date much when he was younger... she wondered if how much he really did get around women. That question led to other curiosities but she did her best to keep from voicing out loud some of the things she was wondering.

Saedah fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve. She had...asked a bad question didn't she?

"b..but...if they..d..did...I..w..would be..your..s..sister." She said trying to lighten the conversation as best as she was able to. Awkward. She needed to learn a bit more about social etiquette apparently.

"I know of a few places that are open later in the evenings." He replied cooly looking her over noting her features, if it wasn't such a studious gaze one would of thought he was checking her out.

"That is of course if you wish to go out again with me." he asked sounding as if he wouldn't be surprised if she turned and fled at this moment.

Kliken perked up a bit at that idea, "Really...?" His eyes went a bit wide before he gave a little smile, "That... that would be neat." He wondered what it would be like to have a sibling. Just getting to play with her was a lot fun so the idea of her always being there was a rather nice idea, one that made him smile.

Lucrecia gave a bit of a grin, "Of course, Kuyoja Darling. I am rather enjoying myself and would love a second date with you." She said as took a step closer to the man, reaching a hand out to stroke it over his cheek, "So long as you are alright with it."

Saedah felt relieved at Kliken's sudden change in attitude. That was great! If he was excited as she was to get a sibling...as well for her a mother than that was awesome. Of course...that meant she would have to deal with Tural.....But then again apparently she was suppose to be getting her own dragon... the idea made her shudder.

"I think it would be neat too." She murmured shyly.

Kuyoja looked at Lucrecia as she stroked his cheek. Was this acceptable behavior on the first date? He wasn't sure. Touching his cheek was alright. He took out a hand from his sleeve and then ...strangely enough returned the gesture his larger hands were gentle. It was a strange thing to behold him...touching someone. Though emotionally he may as well of been a robot.

He gave a smile at the idea then found himself wondering what would happen to the rest of the family, to Than if his mother married the teacher. Hrm... would Kuyoja and Saedah come to live with them? It was a curious thought that he found himself thinking over it, "I guess... we will have to see." See what happened with their parents.

Lucrecia seemed a bit surprised over the fact that Kuyoja was returning the gesture. She lifted her other hand to lay it against his hand to keep him from escaping now that he was opening up somewhat, at least physically anyway, "You know Kuyoja Darling, we are dating now so you can be as friendly as you like." She whispered, giving him a little wink.

Saedah nodded her head as they continued their game, though in her mind having a mother and a brother which was a bonus would be wonderful. She would just have to deal with the dragon....

Kuyoja looked at her as she basically pinned his hand against her cheek. He blinked at her comment, friendly? He was..being accommodating wasn't he?
"I am not sure what you mean." He stated as he gently went
to remove his hand. The lingering touching was something that should be for later dates.

Lucrecia couldn't help but smile in a delighted manner, he really was far to cute when he wanted to be... even if he probably didn't mean to appear as such. She took a couple steps forward, shaking her tactics when he move her hand, sliding it around him so she could tug him in for a kiss. She would need to be more... hands on she thought, to show him what she meant by friendly.

Kuyoja noted the change as she neared coming in for a kiss, he turned his head and then rather firmly put his hands on her shoulders to stop her from proceeding.

"It may be a bit too soon for such things." He murmured, and it wasn't that he...was dead in the world of arousal but he was so firmly routed traditionally..kissing on the first date was a no no.

The woman couldn't keep a little pout from her lips, truly he wasn't like any man she was used to dealing with. He was so very well trained by his family in their ways she thought as she looked him over. She seemed to be debating on it for a moment. He seemed... very against the kissing thing didn't he? So cute how he was acting since they had kissed once before. Then again that had been a surprise attack on her part.

Maybe it was best to stick with such tactics as that when it came to overcoming his rather perfect guard? She looked up at the way he was looking away and found her eyes drawn down to his throat... and gave a bit of a smile. Oh but he was being far, far to tempting wasn't he? It didn't help that the food he'd cooked had smelled good and that he had an interesting scent himself.

She did her best to step in closer to him, pressing in closer to the male though not trying to kiss this time instead she gave into another urge... Than was going to be unhappy over the idea of him tasting someone unknown and potentially dangerous.

He wondered if he hurt her feelings, it wasn't that he ..didn't want to kiss her, but he felt it being their first date it just wasn't appropriate. Soon he found her pressing her body against his. Was...that a faint blush across his face? He tried to move a bit away but the balcony was fairly small..and she was in the way of the door.

"We shouldn't be doing this." He murmured slipping his hands back into his sleeves trying to keep them out of trouble.

Lucrecia rested her hands on the railing of the balcony on either side of the guy before he looked up at him and blinked a couple times, feeling almost guilty. He was... blushing? And withdrawing his hands into his sleeves and looking as though he were trying to hide within his robes from her. She lowered her head to rest it against his shoulder. Were she a male of her clan she would pounce on such an adorable meal but instead she felt like she were being mean to him... last thing she wanted to do was abuse the poor guy. She lifted her head up to press a kiss to his forehead, "If you need time, I can give you time... I have all time in the world for you to get more comfortable with us doing such things."

Kuyoja nodded his head though he still felt a bit pinned to where he was. He felt like...he hadn't properly entertained his date...and by turning down her advances he didn't mean for her to think he didn't find her attractive. So ..after much deliberation he slipped his hands free of his sleeves and then using them he cupped her face and then tilted her head so he could kiss her forehead lightly.

"Thank you." He replied as he then dropped his hands back to his sides and ...waited for her to move so they could go back inside.

Lucrecia's eyes widened before sinking half closed at the kiss that she received from Kuyoja, rather surprised by it but at the same time quite pleased. She blinked a couple times when he dropped his hands and drew back to look at him before smiling, "Mmm, shall we go check on our babies, Kuyoja Darling?" She murmured, moving back so that the man could have his breathing space back.

Kuyoja nodded his head though his mind seemed to be a million miles away. What he was thinking under the calm mask of his was anyone's guess.

"Yes...let us check on the children." He murmured, it was obvious by his rather soft tone that he was still...a bit ...stuck on the kiss.

She looked over at Kuyoja for a long moment before he turned to head inside with him, "Perhaps its time for Kliken, Tural, and I to get going home." She said, looking over at Kuyoja and gave him a smile, "If your feeling up to a second date I would really like it... and I will do my best to behave as well." She gave him a wink before walking over to the sleeping dragon, kneeling down to give him a
little nudge to wake him up.

Kuyoja noted it was getting fairly late, though he wondered if Saedah would be wide awake after playing with Kliken.

"yes it may be best. Saedah needs to get plenty of sleep." He commented before moving to get to Saedah's room.

"Saedah, its time for Kliken and his mother to go home." he announced as he entered her room.

Sae looked up a bit surprised and pouted. Already? Their date couldn't be over yet could it? she looked to Kliken and gave a small sigh.

"Gu..guess you win. You were further." she said after a moment.

Kliken looked over at his mother before giving Saedah a smile, "We can play again later if you want." He said with a smile, hoping that the two of them would get to see each other again. The meeting had been a lot of fun! He pushed up to his feet, made sure that his Ocarina was in its pouch where it should be, then smile, "I had a lot of fun Saedah."

Lucrecia smiled at her son, so happy to see that he'd had a good time tonight as well, she held a hand out to him, motioning for him to come over to her, "Have a wonderful night Saedah, you too Kuyoja Darling."

Kuyoja nodded his head to the pair before looking to Saedah who hurriedly bowed to them.

"T..thank you for co..coming over to..p..play." She hurriedly said and Kuyoja then turned and bowed to Lucrecia as well.

"Yes. We will get together soon." He replied.

The woman gave a smile before she laid a hand on Kliken's shoulder, "Lets get going I am sure that you and Tural both should be getting to bed." She told her boy with a smile, so much excitement was bound to have the pair quite sleepy. Lucrecia was eager to get home and get something to eat... hanging out around Kuyoja had her stomach all but growling now. The pair each gave a wave before they moved to fetch Tural so they could be on their way.

A Little Bored

Bored... bored, bored, bored... The leech boy flopped onto his bed, rolled to one side, over to the other, then with a squeak he fell half off the bed. His feet were still up on it while his shoulders were resting on the ground. He blinked a couple times before he reached a hand out to Tural who came shuffling over to him when he'd fallen off the bed. The Cruzoor gave a huffing sound, nuzzled against Kliken's hand, then set to licking and nomming on it. This drew a bit of a smile to Kliken's lips, "I am... so bored, Tural." He told the smooth skinned hatchling.

Tural starred at him before giving his version of a smile before he went shuffling back and forth in front of the boy that was laying half on the floor. He was in complete agreement, he was bored as well... they should go and do something fun! His tail set to swishing behind him and he gave a crooning sound, leaning over to nuzzle against Kliken before catching hold of some of his hair, loving on it and tasting the long, red strands.

The leech slid the rest of the way off of the bed and the rolled over onto his stomach before he crawled over to lay half over Tural. He gave a grin and a chuckle, "Pinned ya."

The dragon's eyes got wide before he gave a chirping sound and started to shuffle along despite the extra weight on his back as though Kliken weighed nothing. He headed out of the room to the atrium and before Kliken could do anything but cry out with surprise they were diving into the large pool that was set up. The leech went topsy turvy as they went under while Tural set to swimming circles around him, finding it the only place where he could really be in any way speedy. Once Kliken was able to right himself he looked over at his dragon before sticking his tongue out at him.

Well... he had been the one to say he was bored in the presence of a dragon that seemed hellbent some days on making sure that he was in a good mood. Probably a good thing as he didn't want to see Tural in a bad mood against which seemed to be how he ended up any time that Kliken was in a bad mood himself. The dragon was perhaps to empathetic for his own good at times. He reached his hands out to Tural, making a grasping motion that the Cruzoor knew well to mean to come closer. As he did the leech boy caught hold of him so that they could swim along, making circles around under the water, enjoying the cool water and the weightless feeling that came with being in it. He let his eyes close and pushed away all the stuff that had been bothering up to and including the fact that he still had one more melee class ahead of him despite no real desire to do it.

He had to admit that he much preferred magic, it was more interesting to him but D-Corp wanted for those around his age to take three Magic Classes as well as three Melee Classes. He would have to suffer his way through the last Melee one he supposed and then he would be free of them. He would prefer to do more in the way of Magic ones or even more with dragon information though so far there wasn't a lot that was known about Tural so he wasn't sure what else it was that he could learn from Mr Coleman.

Passed classes he should probably be thinking about trying to find time to do something more social. He wasn't all that good when it came to going out and about but he should at least attempt it again. The last time he'd done so he was lucky enough to stumble across Drez again, he rather liked that kid he was nice. There weren't nearly enough nice people in the world he thought to himself able to count them on his hands while there were more scary ones or ones he didn't like for various reasons that he wouldn't bother to focus on. He shook his head to clear it, no... no... he wasn't going to focus on that stuff, he was going to think on happy stuff, was going to enjoy his swimming time with Tural. All the stuff that bothered him could wait until later... he had no need for it now.

Parent-Teacher Conference

(( Done via AIM with Jay ))

Thaddeus climbed up the steps from his classroom flicking a look over to Kliken who was still scribbling down notes before he went to open the door and slip out. He closed the door behind him lightly and was surprised to find that Lucrecia was still in the vicinity.

"The class is over, your son is merely taking some notes..." He started with a cough into his hand as if he was trying to clear the air for some serious conversation.

The woman gave a smile and a nod, "How did he do in the class?" She asked, curiously. It was the first time she'd brought him to a magic class, likely the last time as well given that the magic teachers seemed to see her for what she was which she didn't like at all.

"He has a lot of potential if given the proper instruction, " he replied with a nod of his head, he moved to fodl his hands in front of him as his eyes skimmed over the woman before the frown on his face seemed to deepen.
"....I gather from earlier your son doesn't know what you truly are..."

"That is good to hear, he was more excited about this class then he was about the melee classes he takes with Kuyoja." She murmured, finding it to bad that he wouldn't be taking more of those classes but she would figure out other reasons to come visiting she thought with a grin. The grin fell at the man's comment and she gave a nod of her head, "You would have gathered correctly." She agreed.

"Your...son lacks confidence in himself...probably explains why he dislikes melee.." He voiced his opinion as he tilted his head to meet the woman's gaze.

"....I must admit I am surprised you hide it from him...surely he knows you are different from others..."

"Hes had a hard time, many things have happened that have led to that. Hes doing better then when he first came to live with us as he is strong enough now that he doesn't cry at the drop of a hat now." She murmured, recalling those days which had been tough, though she could tell that there were still many things that worried him. There was only so much she could do though to help him, "As for the melee thing, there are reasons for that as well."

Her arms crossed over her chest and she gave a half shrug, "I am sure he understands that we are different then normal people but he doesn't mind, we are his family."

Nodding his head his frown was still set in his face, "Nothing wrong with it, though why you are hiding it from him still ...he certainly is old enough now to handle such sensitive information..." He protested as he felt that the boy was being left in the dark far too much...in more than one way.

"Why should I worry him about such things when they haven't affected him much aside from the occasional late class so that I could tag along?" She said, "Besides I don't want him to learn that the reason they decided to have me be his parent was only due to a similar diet. Last thing he needs is to think that he was forced upon us, as though he is some sort of problem child when hes not." She murmured, lifting one hand to run her fingers through her wavy hair.

"Better to know now than find out by accident later...how do you think he would feel if he knew you were hiding such information from him? You aren't doing him any favors by keeping him in the dark..." He stated a bit crossly, he seemed rather firm on his opinion on it all.

"I am doing him plenty of favors in fact. I would rather him not learn about some of the more the details of my life or the things I have done in the past. Not to mention how many foolish stories their are out there about my kind... as though we are all brooding, sparkling jerks or something." She said in a huffy manner.

"I tend to disagree, a family should be honest with each other..not keeping secrets." He replied back in response to her haughty manner, "He is nervous, scared and not to mention incredibly lonely, he has met few children even close to his own age." He replied his findings just on the general observation he made on Kliken. "He needs more confidence in himself."

Lucrecia felt herself bristling, "So let me get this straight, you wish me to explain to my son everything? That the family members are people I have 'killed' or perhaps I should explain Than's role in everything? You, my dear friend, are a busybody. You speak without any idea of the reasons for things, did you ask why he is as he is? Have you asked him why he doesn't go out? Did he tell you that we have a couple of times now drug him out of his room to get him some fresh air?" She was getting annoyed, humans always seemed to over step their bounds.

Zyane of course was just worried about the boy, but everything the woman stated to him sounded like an excuse.

"I never said tell him your life story all in one go. It would take time and a lot of careful baby steps to get him use to the idea." He retorted, finding this woman greatly annoying...it took him a moment to realize why. She reminded him of his wife.

"I did not ask for his life story either. But I am intelligent enough to realize that he needs guidance. He is floundering...and if left unchecked he may end up falling into a darkness even YOU would have troubles with." He growled.

"I don't think you need to worry about my son any longer, there are plenty of teachers in this place after all." She would see about getting her son learning with someone that wasn't so eager to get into the business of others when he had no idea what was going on, "People that rush in head long without having any idea what they are talking about, those are the worst people. Just assuming your right after meeting with my son for a short amount of time and me for five minutes."

Zyane watched the woman who was plenty riled up and bristly at being called a bad parent basically. He didn't blame her for being angry, but it wasn't going to stop him either.

"He didn't tell you did he...about what his magic tried to do .." He murmured slowly, his eyes watching her for a moment to see her reaction to weither his hunch was right.

"I wasn't standing in on the class so I wouldn't know yet what he was doing with his magic." She said, wanting to strangle the guy for being so dense. If he were actually doing anything more then just taking notes and going to lectures she was sure that she would be aware of it.

"No...its something that happened before I even met your son..." He corrected, "I am surprised that non of these other so called teachers didn't warn you.." He stated with a huff, "Your son has potential to do great things with magic...if guided correctly...right now though he is lucky he is still alive.."

Lucrecia merely starred at him, wondering what in the world he was talking about, "How in the Hells did going to a bunch of lectures put him in danger? He told me he hasn't even summoned any magic hence him wanting to take more classes in the subject." She was worrying a little that he had no knack for it really... to hear that he had potential was actually a relief. She had hoped that her boy wasn't putting all his eggs into one basket only to have his hopes dashed.

Finally having some leverage in the conversation he took a deep breath,
"Your son explained to me that for a previous assignment he was to summon his magic...magic that should of been pure as it hadn't yet been subjugated to a specific type yet. They way he described it...what appeared wasn't what was suppose to..." He explained as he summoned his own magic into the palm of his hand as if to show her.

"This is what he summoned," He murmured allowing the smoking tendrils of power lick across his fingers before he curled his hand into a fist and smothered it. "Dark magic, choose your son. And it tried to take over.."

Lucrecia felt a prickle go up her back at the show of dark magic by the teacher in front of her and she starred for a moment before the power was put out, "I see." She murmured in a thoughtful manner. A part of her wondered if it would be best if his magic were sealed away, for his own safety but if she were to do that she doubted he would be very forgiving. She crossed her hands over her ample chest and seemed to be mentally debating over what should be done about this, "A child doesn't need such power." She murmured.

"It is a burden yes," He acknowledged with a nod of his head before he looked back to the door his gaze lingering a moment before he went to look at Lucrecia again.

"Despite that, he has it...I can guide him...help him master it..considering that his other teachers didn't warn you, I feel that it is appropriate if I keep an eye on him," He started already raising a hand to stop her protest he knew would be coming.

"I will not tell your son what you are. It isn't my business to do so. I can't say I approve of him being kept in the dark, but isn't my place to tell him otherwise."

Lucrecia nodded, "No, it isn't your place." She told him bluntly before tilting her head to the side and seemed to be debating on what to do at this point, she didn't think this teacher was the sort that would lie about such a thing just to keep a student. She didn't like the idea of her son being allowed to wield a power that was dangerous but at the same time it couldn't be ignored... it was also something that would need to be brought to the attention of the other members of the family when next they all gathered, "Mm... I find myself at an impasse now."

"Your son seems to really enjoy learning these things..." He started though his tone softened slightly sounding empathetic, "You can't protect him from everything...he needs to learn how to help himself as well.." He said with a tone that sounded rather sad...like this was information he wished he had known a long time ago.

"It is my job to protect my family from all outside threats." She told him, wondering if he didn't know how dangerous the world was for her kind. Kliken was adopted into her family and deserved just as much protection from her, "You annoy me greatly... but I think perhaps you are the best teacher to look after him as it seems you can already wield the power. Best to learn from someone you share that bond with." Damn but this was a bothersome solution, "Provided of course that he wishes to learn from you."

"Despite what you think Madam I probably know more than you'd like," He replied offhandedly before he nodded his head and went to open the door to his classroom, poking his head in to call down to let Kliken know his mother was hear to get him.

"As to if he wishes to learn with me. Just ask your son yourself. If he doesn't want to learn with me I will not push the subject any further than that."

Lucrecia nodded and that seemed to be the final bit of her attention that was on him, her eyes turning to look down the stair case and she smiled as the boy came racing up the steps toward her, "Sorry, had to finish taking notes." He said, his stutter, something caused by a nervous habit when he was around new or intimidating people, seemed to be gone as he reached his Mother's side. She gave him a smile, taking his hand in hers before waiting on Tural to catch up. The Cruzoor was complaining in his normal 'old man' huff as Lucrecia called it, as he climbed his way up the steps.

"Poor Tural, don't worry there is food waiting in the car." She told the young dragon before looking to Kliken, "Come on, Than is waiting for us in the car." She told him, taking her son's hand in his and started away from Zyane as quickly as she could without seeming as she was running or losing Tural who seemed to enjoy his random side tracking when they were out walking.

Gifts for My Friends

The young man was looking over the different items in the case of the store he was add, it was pretty jewelry made from various crystals and twisted wire. He was searching for a perfect piece, something pretty and simple with a pink stone. It took a bit of time to find but he finally spotted what he thought was the one that he was looking for. Rose quartz it was announcing itself to be, silver colored wire, and a light brown cord that it hung off of, "I think it should be this one, don't you Tural?"

The dragon gave a huffing sound from where he was laying, chewing on the edge of a table leg as he wondered what the flavor was since it looked so elaborate. Pretty, pretty things much taste just as good, right? He wasn't sure since it didn't have much flavor to it... as such he grew bored fast and turned to look at what Kliken was doing. He pushed up on his short legs then shuffled over to him, lifting up onto his hind legs to keep out at what he was looking at. He tilted his head to one side and his whiskers wiggled... and he nodded. He wasn't sure, what were they looking for again? Oh yes, a gift for the sister girl, right? He gave a nod of his head. The pink stone looked like it would match with her cotton candy color hair that he wanted to chew on he thought to himself.

Kliken smiled, "Alright, we will get her that one." He said, digging into his pocket to get out some money and bought it from the vendor along with a small leather bag to keep it similar to the one that hung around his neck that held his ocarina in it. He gave a little smile as he looked over the bag that he was holding, running his thumb over the surface before he looked over at Tural, "Now we just have to hope that she will like it and accept it." He worried at times that the girl was afraid of him or that he was going to end up afraid of him if she ever learned everything about him that there was to be found out. He didn't want to be something that would scare Saedah though... he wanted to be able to be her friend.

"Just need to be careful, not let her figure out what I am." He murmured, mostly to himself but it got him nudged and nuzzled by Tural. It was tough for him, he had few friends so those he did know he wanted to be able to keep, "Think we should get something for Drez as well?"

Tural gave a huffing sound and a bit of a smiled, nodding his head as he lowered down to all four legs and shuffled forward so that they could look around for something nice for their other friend. He rather liked Drez, more then he did the girl, so he was more eager for finding a gift for him. Kliken didn't fault Tural in liking the snake boy better then the snake girl since Drez had seemed to like Tural more while Saedah seemed genuinely afraid of the Cruzoor. That she could be afraid of him when he seemed, at least to Kliken as completely harmless, he worried what that might mean she felt for him if she knew how scary he was...

He shook his head before he followed along after the dragon who seemed to be on his way somewhere, as though he had something in mind for what they should get for Drez. The dragon was back to the table with the ornate carvings on it and starred at it, butted his head against it, and then gave a purring sound to get the attention of his partner. Kliken looked down at it, head tilted before he looked what was on the table itself. There were ornate carvings on it, all of them various sized cubes with different things on each side, "Oh, I see." He murmured, nodding his head as he picked one up that was covered in different animals, "This is perfect, good job." He murmured, it had taken the pair some time to realize that the snake boy was blind but Tural had seemed to notice first and then Kliken noticed some time after. It seemed knowing that Drez was blind made the dragon think hard on a gift for him, that he was chewing on the carved table leg earlier helped out a lot as well.

The two went up to pay for the cube that they'd found as well before heading for the door, "We will wrap these and then send them off to our friends." He told the Cruzoor, eager to do just that.
