#1 might be accepted because s/he is a Harry Potter fan, mentioned Dobby (kinda), and did his/her best to spell the words out instead of using net speak...Even if the spelling wasn't the best....
#2 will most certainly become a part of our guild because s/he is exactly the type of person this guild is looking for. I could list all the reasons, but by reading the application it's obvious why.
#3 doesn't even have a chance...
#4- see #2, the response is the same, except when s/he (#4) mentioned Dobby, it was a lot better.

#1 - I think it's possible they would be accepted as they DID mention dobby the house elf and tried to follow the rules despite their grammar/spelling mistakes.
#2 - I think this person will be accepted as they read all the rules and they didn't use net speak, they may be expecting the guild to move faster than a thread however, and this would cause a question of whether or not they'd stay long when the guild is slow.
#3 - This person would not be accepted. They obviously didn't read the ruies to join.
#4 - This person would definately be accepted. They obviously read all the rules to join and seems genuinely interested in joining.

You guys were amazing during the whole Accept/Deny thing. You guys were mostly right which means you did read the rules, and you were rightfully accepted. DUH!
Here's what I did (will not accept them until we get the guild list straight):
The first one: Denied: Too much net-speak. This guild is literate!
The second one: Accepted because despite a few run-on sentences everything we asked for is there. Some members aren't naturally English speakers or they may be a lot younger than the rest of us...so that has to be in mind.
1: Accepted (reason above). This person might not be academic but they acknowledge it and show a strong commitment.
2: Accepted: Duh!
3: Accepted...not! That person will be denied right away... and can not request to join later.
4: Accepted!
Congrats Luna, you got them all right! Remember (even though you don't have to care because you're already in) the applications ask for a few things, so it's really based on the mod who's reading it attitude at that moment
