Kittymutt S p u r t z _ Kittymutt
I've never had sushi, but then again I am a Vegetarian (I'm not an animal rights activist, I just think meat tastes and smells gross) so yeah.....but I have never ate fish, so I do not know what it tastes like.
What does sushi taste like?
I remember seeing the sushi episode on Food network on "Good Eats". (I love that show! heart ) It looks fun to make.
Anyone else seen it?
There are many different types of Sushi and not all sushi has meat. For example, tamago sushi is made out of egg. You're not vegan so you could eat that. And the sushi's have different taste's too.
Sushi with egg? Sounds interesting. If I ever find myself going to a sushi restaurant, I'll be sure to check it out.
Thanks for the info. biggrin
Welcome. And there is also sushi that just have vegi's in them. I've had them before. But since I don't like sushi, I didn't like that type of sushi. x]

I'm pretty sure I've seen sushi with melon in the centre. I tend to stick to salmon and tuna when I'm eating sushi smile .
I had sushi today, actually biggrin . Yo Sushi! is awesome...though not so much when, like me, you're addicted to dorayaki and you watch them constantly going past on the conveyor belt.

I haven't had sushi, good suhsi, for months now. We did buy some at a market place but you know those aren't nearly as good as restaurant sushi. My favorites are tuna, salmon, eel, and uh.. ok those are my favorites. Yum!

I love it! Inarizushi is pretty much a staple in our home, and my mom makes great inari and sanshokudonburi [or whatever the romaji is]. We just can't live without rice... or the local Japanese grocer's.

You know how things made in japan, then imported to north america are expensive right? So I don't get it. The sushi is made in north america, yet it's still expensive. Why?? Just because it's "japanese" styled sushi? I mean, you guys might say because it takes alot of work to make it...but in this store, they sold "japanese" styled barbeque meat. It basically looks the same as a chinese one, but it's more expensive.
