I started it from a white unmarked base. I used a few of the movie promo pictures for references, as well as one of the Iron Man action figures.

Wood Sprite Sakuya"May the fresh scent of flowers protect you always!" ^-^ I am still not happy about some of the features on this one but that is what you get when you try to make it look more like Gaia.This one I might end up redoing later if I get better tips but till now here it is. My latest versions of US armed forces personnel. I've got a Rifleman from the Marines wearing Desert MARPAT with an ACH helmet and Interceptor Body Armor as well as a Rifleman from the Army wearing the same equipment with an ACU camo scheme instead. I've included the older ones for a comparison. Both of the older versions are wearing PASGT gear and some weird digital-ish camo scheme I made a while ago. They're to the right of the current versions.

I need to work on guns a bit more lol but I think it was pretty good for my first try.

I like it. For the gun you may want to raise it a bit, it seems like it wraps around his hand at this point. You should also make the barrel darker. You know, increase the contrast to make it seem like metal, unless it's supposed to be a plastic one.

Hey Guys! I don't know whether or not some of you recognize me [I've recognized some of you] but i havn't been on for almost a year...
I've looked through some of hte recent edits, and I'm in love with the iron man edits... It would have been amazing if those could have been used for a promotion towards the movie on gaia before it came out, but of course they wouldn't have been made yet.
I might be tryin to to edits again so someone throw somthing simple at me sweatdrop I'm like a Newbie again...

Yeah, it's a little late for it to have been done for the relase of The Dark Knight, but I whipped this up in about three hours. It took forever to get the shading to look like the plastic of his batsuit. So in any case, I give you Batman from Batman Begins!  And before anyone says anything about the details getting lost in the darkness, it's BATMAN for crying out loud! He's supposed to be dark and mysterious!

I can see the details just fine, and they look awesome.
...then again, my monitor is said to be eye-scorchingly bright...

After a whole year without editing I have returned, doubt any of you remember lol here's my first edit since being back its a little 30 minute - hour jobby just to get used to editing again
dont be too harsh remember I'm a noob again.
The Hegemon - OMFG I've gone back through some pages and wow I'm liking your edits specially the batman and ironman ones, love the detail on the armour

Thank you Greebo. I've got another pair of edits to add. This time it's Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith:  And without the saber blade:  These are special for two reasons. First, this is really my biggest successful repose. Secondly, I used only a naked avatar base, no custom Tek-Tek avatar. I really like how his expression came out. I think I'll make Anakin in the future. Originally this was just going to be a simple Avi edit base for people who wanted lightsabers, instead of the usual Gaia stance, but I decided to go for a full blown edit.
