Kyuseisha no Hikari
Bai Felicia

Cadet Ny
HP: 45
Action: Up Fysarius’ a** /// Attacking Newgrange
Damage 9 + 3 (rank bonus) = 12
Location: D6

There was absolutely no reason for any cadet to explain themselves to these humans. Was it what she wanted? Ny had no idea what she wanted. Ideally everyone would’ve just allowed them to do what needed to be done, but in the absence of that, she wasn’t angry that this was the route they’d chosen.

She was trained to fight, maybe not as experienced with it as some people here, but she knew how. And anyone who thought about it had to figure that if they were trained to fight, it was because there was a nonzero chance they’d need to.

And if they needed to fight, she could only assume that someone would get hurt from it.

As long as it wasn’t Fysarius, Ny could not possibly care less who that someone was. Any of these White Moon, any agent, Caedus, Lyndin. They were not Fysarius. They could get hurt. They shouldn’t have showed up if they weren’t ready for it.

She sent her companion a crinkly-nosed frown as he paused to justify himself. There was no need for that. This guy was a nobody, so she shoved Fysarius back and went to stab at the knight again.

Corrupt Basic Calaverite
HP: 50
Action: Mostly Joker scream cackling /// Attacking Alya
Damage 9 + 3 (rank bonus) + 2 (basic senshi magic; uses 1/3) = 14
Location: D6

“Doggy, no!” Cala wailed as two of them ganged up on the youma with their magic. She was good and innocent, and Calaverite loved her, and they broke her down into dust. The particles fluttered away, while he looked on sadly.

He hadn’t gotten to ride her into battle. Or to watch her play with his magic. He bet she would’ve liked chasing crows, or pawing the dirt to catch little moles.

And they took that from him.

The senshi dusted doggy and stole from Cala, and that wasn’t fair. That wasn’t right. He’d been in their faces before, attacking them for assaulting the youma, but now that she was gone, it wasn’t fun. Calaverite screamed as he flew at one of them, fingers glowing to summon more little creatures as he tried to rake at the boy and draw him in close enough to bite him.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack -- Carrion Call the Dead
Summons two small ethereal decaying creatures of the same species (squirrels, bats, pugs, etc). They stink horrifically and move disjointedly, as if they haven't used their muscles in a long time. They must stay within twenty feet of Calaverite, but they can attack anyone within that range by charging, biting, or clawing. The creatures move slowly and need to receive a verbal signal from Calaverite before they act. Any damage is up to the player. The beasts remain for thirty seconds and can be summoned twice per battle.

Lieutenant Feldspar
HP: 42 (-8 from Belmont)
Action: Attacking Newgrange
Damage 7 + 3 (rank bonus) + 3 (faction bonus) = 13
Location: D6

Like, he couldn’t be mad about it, or anything, Feldspar thought as the page retaliated against him, grabbing at his cane and jerking it hard enough to catch Feldspar off guard and make him stumble to the ground before he could think the smart thought and let it go.

A lurch of fear swept up him because if he was going to be on the ground, that was where people could really ******** him up, and frantic brown eyes darted for the page as he tried to figure a reason why the guy shouldn’t just kick his ribcage in.

But by the time he found him, the page was already retreating, and a second later a sweep of weird energy pulsed around the area as Feldspar caught Rakovanite staring at him.

The general didn’t say anything, but Feldspar fumbled for his cane and pushed himself up while grumbling out, “Might just fall all to pieces if I get looked at too hard.” Yes, obviously it could’ve gone down worse, but there were a lot of Order retreating away from their generator, and another handful falling off already. He had enough allies in the zone that he hoped not all of them would let him get mauled, and he was pleased his friend was up to the task…

Just wished Rakovanite wouldn’t look at him like that.

So much for that whole showing up and not being useless thing.

Feldspar averted his attention, focusing instead on another knight nearby. Probably a worse opponent for him to try and do anything about than the page. But he had help. Dude couldn’t be allowed to keep attacking the generator. And the number of people in close proximity was limited, so like, pretty much nothing to lose besides his life?

Might as well take a swing at him too.

Lieutenant Weissite
HP: 50
Action: backing up Feldspar / attacking Newgrange
Damage 4 + 3 (rank bonus) + 3 (faction bonus) = 10
Location: D6

The dude who had eaten one of his general’s attacks backed all the way the hell off, and Weissite couldn’t blame him for it. He wouldn’t want to be one of a dwindling pack facing an onslaught of opposition, either.

Stepped back, dipped to curl his fingers around the top of Feldspar’s arm to help him up. “Gid, you good?” Quiet, so no one else would hear him, not meant to sound like he was preaching at the guy about needing to be more careful, just askin’ to be sure there wasn’t something more to do for him.

But he was well enough to attack, so Weissite kept pace with him, letting Feldspar take a swing at the knight as Weissite went for a punch.

Vaylin slashed at his hand. Yddagen fired at him. Vyn fired at Andronicus. Justified, and welcome, but Lyndin never wanted the Cadets to be harmed. Lysvi seemed ready to attack the generator. Aliez put his heart into saving a life that was already gone. Caelyna was in mourning, and Fangnyl was watching over them. Gavaen was disobeying orders and trying to pull the lever. Silvera was telling her own narrative.

Caerynn was dead. Velyria was dead.

As soon as he’d been attacked, his gauntleted hand had covered the starseed--protectively.

Whatever they thought he was going to do with it, it was clear that he had no intention of destroying it.

Andronicus’ attack seemed to bounce off of him. Encke’s magic seemed to absorb into him. Scylla’s erratic magic caused more damage to others than it did to him, and it seemed like he took no damage at all. Her arm was weak on him, her voice nothing to him. She could not pull his arm from Caedus. Megrez’s magic hit Lyndin but he didn’t seem to flinch.

Kurma was nothing to Lyndin but a disrespectful inconvenience.

He spoke to the Vanguard in a low, gravely voice. “I never lied to you.

Omit the truth? Yes. And how could he regret it when so many humans did not trust him. Five times their years--a thousand Earth years--he had sacrificed everything for Velencya. His entire existence was based on serving his world and his people, and he had been rewarded for that.

He had been chosen by Velencya to protect it.

And, maybe, they had all forgotten.

Lyndin’s eyes flared to life--a bright, blazing blue. They continued to glow, and a pure, raw power radiated from him.

Caedus was choking for breath in its presence, and his starseed sent out a few more volatile blasts.

Lyndin let out an anguished cry because he’d felt those deaths. In his heart, as if they had been his own, and he screamed for them.

Caerynn and Velyria glowed the same blue as his eyes, and clear, bluish crystals suddenly encased their prone forms and grew. Shielding them, protecting them. They did not grow so quickly that they could hurt anyone; Aliez, Caelyna, and Fangnyl would find that the smooth crystal that formed around Velyria grew away from them, as if to deliberately avoid hurting them.

Caerynn’s grew quicker, with more jagged, desperate edges. Trapped inside her crystal with her, the fragments of her shattered starseed glimmered and glowed.

A blast of energy pulsed through him, with a force so great it sent everyone in the area flying backwards a good few feet.

The light was leaving Caedus’ eyes. They were misty and reflected Lyndin’s glow. His mouth was open like he wanted to say something, but his grip on Lyndin’s wrist was loose and failing.

Lyndin lowered him to the ground gently and let him rest against the machine.

Like he cared.

He covered the starseed with both hands, protectively and glowered at the group that attacked him, that berated him.

The lever slipped a few inches but it had not moved all the way for Gavean, and it would not turn off for anyone but Lyndin or Caedus--and Caedus was down. His eyes were still open but his breaths were shallow, like he was clinging to a life that was already fading. His starseed lashed out again, slipping through Lyndin’s hands. It burned anything it hit.

He didn’t owe them an explanation. The White Moon--some had been kind. Some had been welcoming.

Some had threatened them when they first arrived, had told them how horrible Earth was, had talked about how little they cared for their worlds.

And then now, they had not listened, they had not trusted.

Maybe, things would have been different if they had.

But the generators were battered and Lyndin was enraged.

He had not seen ., and Lyndin just watched, like he needed to make sure that this was over. But, he didn’t have all the time in the world.

He spoke for Silvera, who was making up her own stories and falling for them. “Caedus is the one who decided he wanted war. I never said anyone was our enemy. We do not go to war unless we have to. But some of you are so eager for it you have taken matters into your own hands instead of trusting me.

Lyndin had not told them the Negaverse was their enemy. He simply did not argue when Caedus made the declaration. He had not decided what they were going to do until they arrived on Earth and he had never been so disappointed.

Maybe Earth just brought out the worst in people.

I do not want to destroy this starseed. I want to save it. I will take this to the Cauldron myself. This is not an execution, it is a rebirth. If he died a thousand years ago when we needed him to, maybe he’d be back already. But.” He looked at Pendour. “If we could not heal it, I don’t know how you could. It is out of our hands and it has been for a long time.

To Castor, there was an understanding.

Lyndin wanted to save his world and his people. He was not going to destroy the crystal in his hand. He wanted to take it to the Cauldron. He didn’t have to say it for it to be obvious; he cradled the starseed like it was a lifeline. He protected it--from everyone.

Lyndin was not here to damn them, but they were rapidly damning themselves.

The machine in the center of the field sent out another pulse of energy. For a split second, all the generators shut off, and then flared to life. An iridescent laser shot straight into the air--the machine had fired.

It hit Archideus.

Within seconds, a strange, sticky Chaos sensation thickened in the air.

The generators had powered up the machine enough to activate it--and Lyndin’s expertise in the matter meant that, of course it had hit its mark.

Only, there was no portal into Negaspace opening.

The energy in the air suddenly seemed heavy--choking, sickening, thick.

Caedus had no fight in him; he tried to push himself up only once before his body gave out. His breathing was shallow. He was pale and his vision was unfocused. His eyes were closing.

Lyndin couldn’t look at him. He kept his starseed, volatile as it was, cradled in his hands.

He began to make his way North; he was grim-faced and stoic, and grief had already sunken in. He could not falter; this mission’s success was necessary if Velencya was going to survive.

Into his ComTech, he spoke in a worn, determined voice: “Vanguard. We’re leaving. Come with me.

Quote:
All Order characters who attacked Lyndin take 25 damage and are pushed to the border of D4. Cadets and non hostile Order characters are gently pushed back and take no damage.

Lyndin is preparing to leave the battlefield with Caedus’ starseed and has called the Vanguard to join him so they can leave. Caedus is quickly fading and remains with the central machine, which has flared to life.

Whether the machine was designed to open a portal to Negaspace or not--it’s not doing that now. By intention, by sabotage, or by general failure, the Vanguard’s greatest weapon is sapping the magical energy from the ancient comet it is aligned with--and sending raw waves of Chaos across the field.

This supercharged weapon, created with special amplifying crystals designed to sync with and hone in on the Negaverse’s unique energy isn’t opening a portal to target Negaspace--Chaos energy is now pouring out of it.

Now that the machine is pumped with magical energy and using Archideus as a battery, that Chaos is toxic. The White Moon have all been gathered within range--and they can’t escape it.

It’s now clear why the General Sovereigns and Queen Laurelite haven’t attacked. They have secured the perimeter around the field--and they’re not going to let anyone leave.

The machine in the center of the field is pulsating mutated, chaotic energy to every order member on the field.

There’s no telling if this was the original intention of the device. After the death of two members of the Vanguard, one by Order and one by Chaos, Lyndin does not seem to care what happens here.

The Negaverse doesn’t seem surprised--they may have been expecting this.

The only thing that’s clear is that Lyndin has a gauntlet that can pull starseeds and the Negaverse is here.

Oh, and that the Vanguardian’s weapon is now capable of forcibly corrupting all Order within range.

The Chaos spreading across the field is akin to being within Metallia’s presence; members of the Negaverse will feel a second wind, and gain an additional +5 damage to any dice roll in this round. Order members may feel suddenly without morals or restraint; they may become very violent. They will feel sick as the Chaos begins to seep into their starseed. If an Order player chooses, they may show some (temporary) signs of corruption or youmafication as their body distorts under the Chaos. These changes should only be cosmetic and should be minimal for the time being. Order characters may also be forcibly corrupted, however you must PM The Space Cauldron for side swap approval; if your character completely corrupts, this will be a permanent change for them. Fourth Stage Order characters and those in their immediate vicinity may be immune to these effects; Transcended characters may also be immune to these effects. These players may choose to be affected or not!

Members of the Vanguard are not affected by this; moving forward, Vanguardians have no limitations to how many squares they can move per round!

Caedus is unconscious on the ground; Lyndin and the Central Machine can now be targeted. If Lyndin isn’t stopped, he leaves with Caedus’ starseed. If the machine isn’t stopped, it will continue to pump Chaos into every Order character. Chaos characters should be protecting the Central Machine and generators and should focus on subduing Order characters, not trying to kill them! If things continue as they are, this machine should forcibly corrupt all of them, anyway…

A Spreadsheet has been made available for a more visual representation of character location. Please do not edit the grid sizes or change font. You can use this to post where your character is going. Players do not have to utilize this resource, but the spreadsheet will be updated with the most recent location posted for a character by a staff member at the time of the next mule post.

Small Generators have 250 HP F4: 17/250
Large Generators have 400 HP B2: 248/400, B6: 299/400, D6: 266/400, F2: 246/400, F6: 171/400
Center Machine has 1245/2650 HP
Lyndin has ???/??? HP

You can track damage to Generators, the Center Machine, and Lyndin in this spreadsheet.

The next prompt will be posted in ~48 hours. Order Characters can join at any point in time but it must be handwaved that they have been here since before the Negaverse arrived. No one can arrive late ICly or leave as of this prompt; Queen Laurelite is in the Northeast corner blocking exit, General Queen Hessonite is in the Southeast corner, General King Axinite is in the Southwest corner, General King Lepidolite is in the Northwest corner, and. Engaging these characters is ill-advised; they are very powerful and seem to only be there to hold the line for the time being. They are indicated on the map with a starseed of accommodating color that also showcases their range.

There is no penalty for not responding to this prompt, however you will not be able to make up for missed rolls.

If you are doing an important action that you want to make sure others see, such as something that affects a whole square, or might have a major impact that affects how players respond, please include this in an empty quote box at the top of your post. Please bold it, put it in red font, and set the font to size 18 above your character form. When you are posting your character, you must use the following code at the top of your post if responding to this prompt:

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal (Vanguardian Cadets do not need to post a link)
HP: First stage characters, PC Youma, and Cat/Humanoid Mauvians have 50 HP, Second stage characters and Mauvian Senshi have 75 HP, Third stage characters have 100 HP and Fourth stage characters have 150 HP. If you were contacted via PM about a special Negaverse role, please use the HP and damage information from the PM. Once a character reaches 0 HP they pass out.
Action: Please summarize whatever action you are doing; if you are attacking a specific target, please indicate that here. You must be in the same square as someone/something to attack them and can only move two squares at a time per round (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or a mix). Teleportation is not permitted.
Damage When calculating damage: roll the base dice, add rank bonus, add faction bonus, add accessory bonus.
Location: Include which grid square they are moving to. You can move to any square at this point in time, however column 1 and 7, and row A and G are being guarded by General Sovereigns securing the perimeter. It is unwise to engage, but not impossible.

Rolling for Damage:

Each character can roll to do damage once per prompt. If you miss a roll, you cannot make it up. If you have a special IC RP Item, like an Article of Resilience or an Article of Power, please factor these into damage done and taken and note this in your posts.

To roll for damage, all characters will roll one ten sided dice.

    RANK BONUSES:
Mauvians in their Cat Form: No Bonus
First Stage Characters, Vanguardian Cadets, Humanoid Mauvians: + 3 damage
Second Stage Characters, Mauvian Senshi, PC Youma: +5 damage
      Third Stage Characters: +7 damage
Fourth Stage Characters + 10 damage

    FACTION BONUSES:
Mauvians: +5 damage to a target when using laser; can only use laser once. Mauvian Senshi should use Super Senshi magic rules if casting their magic.
Negaverse Agents: Lieutenants +3 damage, Captains +4 damage, Generals +5 damage, General Sovereigns +6 damage
Half-Youma: Lieutenants +3 damage, Captains +4 damage, Generals +5 damage
Half-Youma Magic: Lieutenants can use magic bonuses once, Captains twice, and Generals three times; offensive magic, buffs, and debuffs give +5 damage to a roll for themselves or an ally in the same square, healing magic heals 10 HP from one target in the same square, and shield magic deflects five damage from two targets in the same square. This bonus does not stack on top of standard non-magic bonuses. Do not roll dice if healing or shielding; these effects are automatic and you cannot attack in the same round as you are healing or shielding. Captains and above can use their half-youma magic multiple times in the same post but it must be on different targets. Some Half-Youma have two magical abilities; the number of uses is split between the two.
      Youma: +4 damage
Youma Magic: Youma can use magic bonuses three times; offensive magic, buffs, and debuffs give +5 damage to a roll for themselves or an ally in the same square, healing magic heals 10 HP from one target in the same square, and shield magic deflects five damage from two targets in the same square. This bonus does not stack on top of standard non-magic bonuses. Do not roll dice if healing or shielding; these effects are automatic and you cannot attack in the same round as you are healing or shielding. Youma can use their magic multiple times in the same post but it must be on different targets. Some Youma have two magical abilities; the number of uses is split between the two.
Knights: Pages +1 damage, Squires +2 damage, Knights +3 damage, Royal Knights +4 damage
Knight Magic: Squires can use magic bonuses twice, Knights three times, and Royal Knights five times; offensive magic, buffs, and debuffs give +5 damage to a roll for themselves or an ally in the same square, healing magic heals 5 HP from one target in the same square, and shield magic deflects five damage from one target in the same square. This bonus does not stack on top of standard Knight bonuses. Do not roll dice if healing or shielding; these effects are automatic and you cannot attack in the same round as you are healing or shielding. However, you can heal or shield multiple times (or for multiple targets) per round until your magic is exhausted. Healing or shielding two targets at once is considered two uses of magic, even if used at the same time.
Senshi Magic: Basic Magic has three uses, Super Magic has two uses, Eternal Magic has one use, Royal Magic has one use.
Healing Magic: +5 HP to one target when using basic magic, +10 HP to one target when using super magic, +15 HP to one target when using eternal magic, +15HP to everyone in the same square, and all adjacent squares, when using Royal magic. Do not roll the dice if using healing magic; you cannot attack and heal in the same round. However, you can use healing magic multiple times per round until your magic is exhausted. This can be done in the same post or different posts. Healing magic can revive an unconscious target; healing magic cannot heal someone beyond max rank health.
Shield Magic: - 5 damage to one target in the same square when using basic magic, - 5 damage to two allies in the same square when using super magic, - 10 damage to three allies in the same square when using eternal magic, - 15 damage to everyone in the same square, and all adjacent squares, when using Royal magic. Do not roll the dice if using shielding magic; you cannot attack and shield in the same round. However, you can shield multiple times per round until your magic is exhausted. This can be done in the same post or different posts. Shield magic can negate previous damage from this round OR prevent future damage done during this round.
Damage/Buff/Debuff Magic: +2 damage to one target in the same square when using basic magic, +3 damage to one target in the same square when using super magic, +4 damage to one target in the same square when using eternal magic, and 10 additional damage to all targets in the same square, and all adjacent squares, when using Royal magic.

A Spreadsheet with this same information has been organized to help calculate damage; if you have any questions, please reach out to The Space Cauldron or ask in the event-planning Discord channel and we can help!

The Negaverse has been instructed not to summon youma; they need to maintain organization and youma would clutter the battlefield and the strange energy waves in the area have distorted youma control and Negaverse teleportation. Only PC youma capable of handling complex instructions may be used in this battle. They have been told not to bring starseeds or energy orbs due to the unpredictable nature of the energy in the area.

If you are interacting with any NPCs or examining the environment, please quote The Space Cauldron!

Please do not reserve posts in this thread to backfill later! We are doing our best to be transparent about post and run time so players can plan ahead. If you reserve a post, you must fill it out as soon as possible. We understand accidents may happen or things may pop up, but we are asking players to be considerate of each other and only post when they are able to write something along with it! Posts can be as short as one sentence if need be but should clearly detail what your character is doing or saying.

Chibi ETERNAL Charybdis
HP: 75 (75 - 25 + 25(ETERNAL!!!!!!) )
Action: GROWING UP + KILLING GENERATOR F4
Damage When calculating damage: 1d10 + 7 + Magic (note: has a silver whistle, 1 use / day) [ 9+7+4 = 20 Damage to Generator F4 ]
Location: F5 - > F4
Chibi Sailor Attack: Seal Pup!
+2 Damage (3 uses)
Charybdis creates what looks to be a baby seal. It is clearly magical. It is very cute, and the soft little squeaks it makes encourage everyone to look at it. And not at Charybdis herself. It is precious and pure. With very big, wet, cute eyes. It can remain in a 10 foot area of where Charybdis cast the ability, flopping aimlessly towards her enemies and making soft little chuffy-whuffy noises. Seal Pup can be used 3 times and it is effing adorable. The seal remains for 20 seconds unless viciously attacked; once attacked, it cries for 5 seconds and vanishes (either at the end of the 5 seconds or at the end of its duration if attacked late). (TL;DR: Look! A Distraction!)

Chibi Super Sailor Attack: Shiny Pup!
+3 Damage (0 uses - 001 002)

Chibi Eternal Sailor Attack: Mama Seal!
+4 Damage (1 Use - 001)
A purely defensive attack, Charybdis summons forth a (clearly magical) "mama seal" to protect her. This attack can be used once. The mama seal must stay within 5 feet of Charybdis, and circles around the senshi, growling and orking. The mama's loud cries are formed into a knockback attack to shield Chrybdis and try and push the enemy off their feet as described: mama seal stays for no more than 20 seconds, and in that time can absorb up to 3 non-magical (or a single magical) attack(s) for Charybdis; at the end of her time, or once she has absorbed her maximum attacks, she detonates into a 5-foot shockwave designed to knock the aggressor off balance long enough for her 'pup' to escape. How far the enemy would be knocked off-balance (if they are thrown back, knocked to the ground, or only staggered) along with any damage taken from the knockback is completely optional, and is driven based on enemy rank and plot.

Charybdis, could I see your pen for a second? I think… I think it’s time for you to get stronger. Blinking, the chibi did as the Mauvian asked, watching as the tiny kitten fiddled with the settings. Or... whatever it was she was doing. Stronger? She was going to be- oh. OH.

New strength flowed into her long, skinny limbs, and where Chibi Super Charybdis had been... was Chibi Eternal Charybdis.

User Image

"OH!" she said cheerfully, and began to run back into F4- when CHAOS began to pulse across the field. Nausea rose in her throat, and the chibi now-Eternal rushed back towards the Generator.

Scylla and Castor were there, where the drama was happening. Charybdis needed to see THIS bit done. "HEY ASHANITE!" she screamed at him, "LOOK AT THIS!"

She waggled her butt wings at him.

"MAMA SEAL!" she called, and a seal danced wildly around her.

And then exploded.

The Generator at F4 has been destroyed.

At first, it crackled. It sparked. The light dimmed.

The light flared.

The generator shot a great bright laser into the sky and then it exploded, sending shrapnel, debris, and a pulse of sickening energy washing across the area.

General Ashanite loses 100 HP and no longer has any special bonuses from the generator. He is free to move around the field--or take their revenge.

Cadet Valnyr
HP: 34
Action:: No. Dad. I'm going to hit this generator (F2) one more time and then go find my damn friends.
Damage: 8+3 = 11
Location: F2 -> B5

Something was happening, which was nothing new in the given circumstances given everything was happening at every possible second. No sooner had one thing occurred, than the next thing happened until she was left in an absolute sea of confusion. One thing that she could say with great certainty though was that she had lost faith in her Commodore, one that had now done something to that generator and ordered them all to come with him.

"Go," she said softly to Neryn, refraining from drawing near them.

This was their way out, an easy escape, they could turn around and leave with no judgement but she would stay here. She'd made her bed, and it was with that in mind that she pulled her Comtech from her arm and threw it onto the ground a little distance from her Comrade. It should be taken back, it would leave her without a means to take care of herself but in the end it wasn't her's, it was her people's.

She wouldn't listen, not anymore, and this way she didn't have to.

She needed to find her friends, she needed to make sure they were right, she knew that Aogashima was here but what about the others?

It was with that in mind that she turned her blaster once more to the generator, fired, and then threw herself into a sprint. She didn't know where she was going, she had mostly run with reckless abandon in a random direction. But even if it wasn't her friends she had found, it was hard to ignore the slumped figure on the ground (Morgan) and the other one beside her (Gwen).

So this was what they had done to them, this was the suffering they had caused.

She came to an abrupt halt, and though not her intention the Cracked Bone fell from her belt and bounced slowly towards Morgan. It had been an oddity she had collected, something to tinker with at a later date when she had time, but before she had managed to realise it had gone for a walk her boot had unceremoniously fallen upon it, split it in two and sent the peculiar gas into the air around the prone senshi!

This was supposed to be after Aquamarine's post, but Gaia did its weird post swap thing. Pls see below.

General Aquamarine
HP: 200
Action: Generator blast!
Damage: 15 damage to all White Moon and hostile aliens. +5 extra to Acrucis (so 20 total) since I have permission to add it to one person and she looks so pretty weeping. (Sorry Acrucis ilu. emo )
Location: F2

Neither of the Senshi (Sidouer or Acrucis) meant anything to him, regardless of his familiarity with one of them. They would all be subdued one way or the other, perhaps sooner rather than later.

Jet sent out a pulse from the generator. Aquamarine turned away from his former target (Sidouer).

“Leave her where she falls. Move on to the next one,” he told Reidite

To Dravite he said, “Our orders are to subdue. Don’t let her escape.”

Then he, too, let his bloodied blade sweep through the air. It struck nothing, but the generator pulsed with energy once again.

General Jet
HP: 200
Action: KOing Page Tikal
Damage 10 (roll) + 7 (rank) + 5 (faction) + 10 (special mission bonus) +1 Article of Strength + 5 (special) = 38
Location: F2

The waves of Chaos was a nice boost, but it did nothing to ease Jet’s mood. He was angry, furious over the fact that Princess Ganymede thought she could get away with purifying traitors right in front of them. But he had a job to do, and it was to protect the generator.

He lunged forward, at a Page of Ganymede (Tikal) just for spite, slashing across her with his bladed staff.

They would all corrupt soon anyway. He could see them all starting to suffer. He didn’t care what happened to the aliens, as long as they stood their ground.

He would have to deal with Ganymede later.

Tikal

Lieutenant Reidite
HP: 42
Action: KOing Page Agrippa
Damage 6 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 3 (faction) + 5 (special)= 15
Location: F2

Something was happening. The light in the sky probably wasn’t good, but he’s seen things like that from his window as a child in Russia so. They would deal with it later if they had to.

Aquamarine was telling him to move on. The generator pulsed and sent out a shockwave that damaged everyone in the area.

Reidite rushed forward with his own attack, kicking at one of the Knights of Ganymede (Agrippa) since it seemed as though the Princess was mocking their Queen with her purifications.

Eternal Sailor Alya, Senshi of Apathy
HP:23/100
Action: Attacking Janggunite with sudden sharp claws and apathy magic!
Damage 6+7+3 = 18 [1 basic, 1 super, 1 eternal used]
Location: D6

Oh, this seemed bad. Very bad. Alya should go, and not–you know, get murdered here, because he was getting attacked and–was that–was Calaverite trying to bite him? Who the <********> did that? He was still reeling from Janggunite attacking him and—and he knew he should leave, he wanted to leave, he wanted–

Alya saw red. Real red, vibrant, overwhelming, powerful red.

He didn’t understand the Chaos creeping into him, through him, but he screamed with a rage he didn’t understand.

He was offended, he was disgusted, he wanted to tear off their faces.

He could feel his fingernails grow, his talons stretching, he could imagine their blood on his hands.

Janggunite looked close enough to a youma. Alya lurched towards him, dug his nails in, and tried to blast him with another spell of Apathy.

Super Sailor Hydor
HP: 22 - 15 = 7/75
Action: Chaos is sincerely messing with his head. Blasting the generator and running away in hopes that it'll help.
Damage: 7 + 5 (rank) + 3 (magic) = 15
Location: B2 -> ******** this ******** piece of s**t--.

Hydor's focus was almost entirely on the generator until another thought bloomed under the surface, one of red and anger and the sickly feeling he felt all around him. His eyes rolled back for a moment as he rebalanced among the blood loss and then he turned his gaze around, looking toward the source.

He looked to that lurid senshi, again, and the red grew stronger as he felt the overwhelming push from the center. He choked a plea for help that got swallowed by his own thoughts.

Take revenge.

Hydor gasped.

Right here. Right now.

Thoughts that he tried so hard to keep down threatened to come back up. He saw pictures in his mind that brought that broiling anger back to the surface. Images of court rooms and images of classmates and images of the reasons why he had acted out so sincerely that it had gotten him expelled from school. Images of yelling. Images of the red rising and asking for it to stop and asking for--

Hydor's head was spinning, and he pulled enough of it into balance that he smashed his hand into the generator and he instinctually replaced it with first the face of the general that had corrupted his friend's mother and then with a face that he had done his best to not see in years and--

Smile, Zachy.

He choked.

He ran.

He ran as far as he could.

Make it stop. Make it stop. Make it stop--

Meninx, Page of Mars
HP: 25/50
Action: Attacking Generator
Damage 5+3+1=10
Location: F4->D6

Meninx was–angry. He was usually angry, but this was different. This was–he couldn’t put his finger on it. This was consuming. This was choking.

The generator exploded in front of him and sent him flying backwards, and even if it didn’t hurt him, it knocked the wind out of him. By the time he got up, he was seeing stars.

He was feeling sick, digusting.

He felt like he was crawling out of his skin. He felt dizzy, and there were scales growing out of him, and–he picked at them, scratched at them. Frantic.

He didn’t realize he’d been walking until he found himself in front of a new generator, and all of his rage shifted to something strange, to something dark.

He blamed it for this, for the ringing in his ears. For all of this trouble.

The chaos in the area felt…strange, welcoming. It felt wrong to attack them.

So, he attacked the generator.

Captain Bloodstone
HP: 135
Action: Attacking Sailor Myrrha
Damage 4 (roll) + 5 (rank) + 4 (faction) + 10 (special mission) + 5 (special) = 28
Location: F6

Bloodstone was proud of Roselite for attacking one of their enemy. Carnallite he never had a second thought about. They had trained together for years in combat, so he knew what she was capable of, even if she had to use a pathetic weapon for the time being. But he would make sure that it was worth the annoyance once she was submitted for promotion.

Roselite on the other hand was more timid and better for doing paperwork, so the fact that he was attacking, even if it was to keep Bloodstone’s target away from him, was definitely an improvement from the panic attack during the battle in July.

The bracelet had definitely been a good idea.

Bloodstone lunged forward, swinging his pick at the nearest White Moon Senshi he could (Myrrha).

Mont Saint Michel, Knight of Saturn
HP: 80
Action: Attacking Chambersite (magic 3/3 uses used)
Damage 9+7+5=21
Location: B4

Rage and Michel didn’t go well, and when he was already a good host for Chaos, the surge of it really did nothing to help him. The Chaos was worse for them than it was for him.

He was going to kill Noctua, she was next on his list–but then Chambersite came into the picture–hit Adria while he was down, and Michel lost it.

Maybe, if he’d been in his right mind, he’d have tried to stab the General. Instead, he clutched the giant clockhand and hurled himself at him so he could hit him. He wanted to feel him bleed, wanted to feel him break underneath his fist.

I will ******** kill you,” he seethed, and he was ready to pummel the general into the ground, into a pulp for hitting his brother while he was down.

Lieutenant Carnallite
HP:
39/50
Action: Attacking Aokigahara.
Damage: 6 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 3 (faction) + 5 (bonus) = 17
Location: F6

A cat (Viatrix).

A cat scolded her.

It was a White Moon cat, but still. A cat.

Cats were better than people, even the White Moon variety. It gave Carnallite pause long enough for the Senshi to get himself led away.

Carnallite shook herself out of it. She couldn’t afford to be distracted. There was still work to be done.

She threw her toy boomerang at a Squire (Aokigahara) with another satisfying thunk.
