Time passed like someone pulling a blanket over themselves slowly, at least, that's how it felt to PJ, months after meeting Ace. He and the charmander had had all kinds of fun trying contest things, practicing, talking it over, and training. He'd met Brooke, the famous piplup who's disappearance had first brought them together, as well as a little.... rock bug pokemon that was with her. Annie. There was a houndour that the anorith knew, too, but.... she didn't really join the group much. And honestly, as time passed, PJ was a little... worried about the pokemon, that perhaps they had been... abandoned. He knew that was a thing that happened, from experience, but it was... worrisome to think that it might have happened to his friends, as well.
At least he had gone undetected by the Day Care staff, or at least, that was what he thought, until they came out and retrieved him. They talked about someone... picking him up. Giving him a home. And he was dubious and ready to decline, until they mentioned him doing contests. But how had they...? Hm. Maybe they'd seen him practicing? It was more than a little difficult to part from the group, but... he needed a trainer to do contests. And if this one planned to already.... Well, hopefully he'd see Ace at a Contest Hal someday.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Nis and Sin, realizing their possible need for, but current lack in good water type pokemon, entered their Magikarp and Feebas into the Daycare system. It was a well-known fact Pokemon here grew unnaturally fast. If they day ever came that they needed a powerful water type pokemon, so combat a fire or for some other reason, the twins knew they couldn't rely exclusively on Lombre. They needed other, equally powerful pokemon that could also support them in other ways. These are the adventured of Fang and Scale and the mystery of the Echo whale~ ( Mystery Dungeon XO ) Magikarp: ► Fang was plunged into a strange body of water. It was crystal clear, deep, and cold! It was a new world to explore. The first in over a year. The look-alike human children had saved him and one other from certain death when they'ed been picked up out of the ocean, trapped in a bubble, and teleported far away. The water bubble had popped leaving the pair stranded on land far from any body of water. He was thankful to the humans but had begun to wonder if they'ed forgotten him. This proved they had not. Feebas: ► Scale hit the water and swam. She swam as fast as she could in a panic in no particular direction. She was free. In a new body of water? Where was she now? The humans, they'ed released her into the wild? No. The water was clean. Filtered. Like inside that sphere. Was there food? An escape. Some place to hide or explore? Was the Magikarp still around? Was he even alive? So much time had passed since last they'ed seen each other. no, he was alive. He was above her swimming if you could call it that, towards the surface. Echnowail: ► The daycare had proven to be quite the well hidden and protected place to rest up. After a rough run-in with a Sharpedo, the young Echnowail had fleed here. That was months ago now. She'd been considering returning to the open ocean for the entirety of her time here but couldn't bring herself to do it. Monny and Fritz traversed probably the majority of the day care, with the former leading the other along. Fritz had a hard time keeping up, tripping over his own feet, bushes, and other obstacles, but he kept the monkey in sight for the most part. It was made a little easier by the fact that Monny would often stop to investigate something, or climb up high, while Fritz stayed below and just kept watch. They spent the night cuddled up to one another, and spent the days playing with other pokemon, but one day, their routine changed. An employee at the daycare came out, and fetched them. It seemed their trainer was finally getting them back, though gyarados, who they learned was under the same trainer, would be sticking around. Honestly, Fritz half forgot who his trainer was, with how much he'd been bouncing around. Monny was pretty sure it was some angry girl but that was fine! They both complied, at least, following curiously out of the daycare.

Dratini blinked as he was suddenly in what looked like a park with the Torchic and Popplio he'd just met. He slithered over to a small pond and looked around, seeing several water Pokemon swimming under the surface. Curiously, they were swimming lazily, like there weren't any predators around. Where in the world had his new trainer sent them?
Eli ruffled his feathers and stretched his legs, glad to be out of the Pokeball that had transported them to this .... park.... thing. Wherever they were. He scratched at the ground, eager to run - he had quite a bit of energy to burn.
Sid, seeing the pond Dratini was at, made his way over and dove in, glad for the chance to be able to move freely. Land was so hard to traverse, and it got tiring having to blow bubbles just to catch up. He surfaced and blew some playful bubbles at Eli, who chirped and ran around popping all of them.

Valiant looked around moodily as he took in his surroundings. The woods around him were unfamiliar and he knew he wasnt in Eterna forest where he would usually wait for Marcus while the boy went to school or trained the water pokemon he so loved. It troubled him, it was bad enough that he didnt have eyes on his boy-and oh he already hated that, Marcus and him had been together for seasons since they were both baby hatchlings, Valiant had been a slakoth when he met him for Arceus sake. He hated being away from Marcus, hated not knowing where his boy was. But hea also hated that he wasnt in Eterna. He knew that forest, had been born there. Marcus would always come to find him he knew as long as he stayed there. But in this foreign forest he wasnt even sure Marcus knew about... The Slakoth huffed out a breath trying and failing to contain his bad mood.
"Itll be okay Valiant"Phillip said fluttering down from a nearby branch. The water type perched on Valiants head, something he had been doing since the normal type had turned into a Vigoroth and had outgrown him. The duck pokemon was also worried for theri trainer. He had been there when Marcus explained he would go look for Ray. He wasnt sure what had happened or why theyhad been dropped off here but he knew like Valiant knew that Marcus would never abandon them. Still he chose to remain optimistic if only so Valiant would.

Valiant huffed though he did nothing to move the Duckllett perching on his head, used to the treatment after seven years of camadarei. "Its not right birdbrain an you know it"he huffed walking deeper into the woods-if they were gonna be stuck here he was going to find a cozy place in the forest to claim at least Phillip didnt react to the nickname since that too had been part of their friendship for about seven years. "Marcus wouldnt just leave us here. Specially not if Rays missing" Phillip did know that, he had known Ray for about as long as he had known Marcus and their team. If the other human was missing they were the ones who Marcus would take with him. They had seen him through so much already. "Theres probably a reason why were here" he said diplomatically despite his own reservations. "like you said Marcus wouldnt just leave us without a good reason" "If hes in trouble"Valiant huffed letting the rest of the question hang unfinished Phillip pet his friends head soothingly not sure that there was anything he could say to that.

Valiant eventually found a patch of the woods that he was comfortable in. The trees seemed like it could bear his weight, and it had a nice space where he could make a nest to sleep in. It still wasnt the same as Eterna, nothing would be but it was comfortable. With Phillip still on his head the Slaking set abotu collecting branches and leaves to make something he could sleep in that night. All the while he couldnt stop thinking about his trainer, where he was, if he needed help.
Phillip kept silent vigil as Valiant built his nest. At least the project was keeping the larger pokemon busy. There was an area for water types but Phillip already knew he would be sharing the nest with Valiant. The two pokemon had been sharing a team and living spaces since their trainer found them seven years ago, on top of that they had been separated from their trianer and their team and right after hearing another human they cared about had gone missing. I still dont get why we couldnt stay with Harvey, the Ducklett mused. After all that was where their human had lived since his father hd died. Marcus older brother knew all of them. Nestling down so he was more secure on Valiants head he could only hope hed have answers soon. At least theyd have a nest.

Once the nest was build Valiant laid down. As a Slaking he was often needing to save up energy and making the nest, and making sure thre was grass enough to eat around him. Phillip jumped off as the giant pokemon flopped on the ground only resettling on top of his friend once he was properly situated for a nap. "I know you dont need to sleep birdbrain" Valiant said yawning. Phillip couldnt help but yawn in response. Man even when not an attack, those were contagious. "I dont" the Ducklett said simply "but I really want the company" Valiant scoffed but said nothing as Phillip made himself conmfortable on teh Slakings stomach nestling himself on the Slakings fur and resting. He really hoped they saw some of their team mates soon. But for now he was glad he was with Valiant.

Gizmo looked around in the water biome they had been released in. It wasn't familiar...and where was Marcus? The water type started swimming trying to see if there was anything he recognized. He knew he had been with Marcus family before this but had figured that they would bring him back to his trainer..back to his team. Trying to keep positive he kept swiming taking in his surroundings since he wasn't sure how long he would stay here.
Still sleeping Valiant turned around nestling deeper into the leaves. Phillip woke up just in time to not be squished by the bigger Pokemon and jumped off. He was unfazed by this as having known Valiant for almost eight years, he was more than used to the Slaking turning in his sleep-even if he had only been a Slaking for the last year and a half of that time.
Not needing to sleep as much as his friend, Phillip decided to explore, they had no idea where they were after all and he wanted to figure out just if anyone else was here of he recognized anyone.

Gizmo kept swiming unsure of where he was going. The lanturn kept an eye out knowing most of his team mates were water types and that if they were here they might well be in the same waters as him. But not all of them, they though, Valiant and Lily and Nuka are all ground dwelling. Gizmo gave out a sound of distress as he thought about that. He had no idea where his team mates were, if they were safe. He had no idea where Marcus was. He was supposed to transfer me from the pc after graduating but then... But then Ray had left that voice...thing ( some kind of human message he wasn't sure) and now here he was. Diving back up, Gizmo jumped out of the water, letting out his frustrations and feelings into a few jumps. It also helped to cover distance as he wasn't sure how big the water body he was in was and the more space he covered the more he would see.
Phillip kept walking, taking care to look where he was going so he would be able to get back to Valiant without getting lost. The two party members were all each other had at the moment and the last thing Phillip wanted was to lose Valiant too. Sniffing the air, the Ducklett became aware that he could smell water and...peat moss? Walking forward he figured it was worth exploring further. For reasons.
Still half asleep Valiant reached out for tall grass growing nearby, shoving it into his mouth and eating it as his eyes closed again. It was good grass, not as good as Eternas but good. Wherever they were Valiant had to grudgingly admit ( or at least would once he worke up) they at least had a good biome and good resources.

Valiant kept sleeping, occasionally turning on his side or back. The Slaking was still young and had a bit of the spirit he had had as a Vigoroth ( he had been a Vigoroth only a year and change ago after all) but he was still a Slaking and needed to sleep up to 20 hours per day. He had a frown on his face even as he slept. As though he was thinking of his trainer and his friend even in his dreams.
Phillip gave out a cry of delight when he found peat moss in a clearing nearby. For the moment he forgot his worries about his trainer and that he hadnt seen anyone from his team save Valiant. He dove down trying to reach his favorite treat.
Gizmo kept swimming jumping out the water and the diving down low. So far the Lanturn hadn't seen anyone they knew and it was making them antsy. He had been caught when Marcus already had quite a few pokemon. They weren't used to being alone. Giving a soft whine the Lanturn keep looking around.
