Tsurabisu silently applauded Haru. Though it took him a while to figure out something to do, he was able to do it. Now, if he could just make his reactions instinct. Tsu rested his hand on Hoshokusha's hilt. If Datto's attacks weren't enough, he may just have to get involved after all.
"Datto! Release your Zanpakuto."

"Yes Sensei!" Datto regained his balance from Haru's strike and held his sword in front of him and called out, "Bring Balance! Kouseitan'i Sakasa!" His blade was quickly wrapped in a rainbow flow of ribbons that tightened around it and formed a broad sword. Datto didn't rush forward this time, but followed the advice of his zanpakuto.
Do not attack brashly as you did last time. Instead hold your ground and wait for your opportunity to strike. It will come and when it does need to be at our utmost balance

So that is his zanpakuto's form. he thought while struggling to get his own out of the ground. It finally nudge so that he could take it of. 'It's about time that he took me out of the ground. Maybe this time he will finally hear me.' she thought while sitting down.'Always thinking about yourself Suishou.' he thought while nodding his head."Finally" he said as the zanpakuto and the scabbard were in his hand. I know that it will be impossible to block that broad sword, so I might as well use them both. With that in his head he rushed at him again, using the same tactic that he did earlier. This time though he had his scabbard behind him the whole time.'What is he up to this time, using the scabbard like that.'"I guess he is finally using you, I don't know why if I am the important part and you are just my resting place." she said in a teasing way. 'That idiot doesn't now yet, I guess I should tell her that he needs both of us to reveal our true form, but what is the fun of that if I can see them both acting like fools' he thought while trying to ignore her.

Datto was surprised when Haru came rushing at him with both his sword and scabbard in hand. He had heard that a seated member used that kind of technique, but he had never fought against anything even close to it before. He took on a defensive stance and prepared himself for the impact from Haru.

"Not bad..." The kid was going two handed, using his sheath as a second weapon, much like Ikkaku. "But two weapons against one just isn't very fair. Isn't that right, Datto?" Tsu used his Flash Step to put himself in between the two students. Tsu drew Hoshokusha and blocked Haru's attacks.

In a split second he saw the substitute teacher and block his attack. He then backed off a bit, just to put his goggles and rushed again. Two against one isn't fair" she pouted, while trying to get his attention. I wonder if I will see his shikai he thought as he swung his zanpakuuto vertically. ' So he enters the battle, this will get interesting.'

"I guess I really have a way with women," Drake spoke as he wiped away the tears that had run down his face from his bout of laughter at the expense of the Quincy. He felt bad for laughing at her, but he just couldn't help himself. He turned back to the second Espada, a grin still on his face. "So, you don't think Aizen cares whether I'm here or not? Well, yer probably right. The guy's got a massive superiority complex, but I doubt that he'd actually hunt you, "Drake glanced at Damian, "either of you down. Like you said. He just doesn't care enough about us. My guess is he's either after the Soul Society or maybe even trying to make that key again. So don't go talkin' like yer gonna die. 'Sides, you stick with me and I'll buy you another slice of that cake. 'Kay?"

Ayame frowned. "One more thing on my list, I suppose. However, there is no doubt in my mind that I will 'be in his way' once again. It is only a matter of time. And that shinigami you were with before. That girl. If you decide to come with me, I know you'll only try to interfere." The cake was tempting, but still she stood her ground. "After all, you looked very friendly with those shinigami before we met."

"Yeah, maybe. But ya still aren't gettin' rid of me that easy. 'Sides, I had just met them." Drake shrugged. He knew the Espada was just fishing for a reason for him to go. That told him that she really didn't have a reason for not wanting him there. "Alright. This settles it." The Death Knight gave Ayame a grin. "If you don't want me there, ya gotta kill me, first."

"Interfere with me and I won't hesitate to," Ayame warned him. "Nothing matters to me more than vengeance." She found herself thinking that if Drake did get in the way, would she really be able to kill him? Of course. He is nothing to me. Nothing matters except revenge. After that I'll be happy to end this wretched existance.

Drake chuckled a bit. "We'll see. In the mean time, how about we get out of here? I don't know about you, but I really don't feel like standing here in the middle of this field. Doesn't sound too smart if ya ask me."

Ayame didn't respond verbally. She did use her sonido to disappear from the open area they were in and reappear a few hundred yards away near a building. She crossed her arms and waited, wondering what Drake and Damian were going to do, but most of all, what she was going to do next.

When her captain had returned, Hikari immediately returned to her paperwork. She yawned, fighting back the headache she was getting from it. The shinigami lieutenant happened to glance up and caught sight of the time. "Ah! That late already!? Oh no!" She still had to check up on the 13th squad captain and her former instructor, and it was getting almost too late for visitors! Without thinking, she grabbed the remaining stacks and folders of her paperwork (which, sadly was still quite a bit) and bumped into Unohana on the way out. "Um, I'm sorry, I'll finish my work by tonight, I promise!"

"It was quite a bit of work. You don't need to worry about finishing everything tonight. Some of it isn't due until later in the week." Unohana said with a smile.

"I know, but with this mission..." Hikari stopped after she'd made her point. She wouldn't be able to finish it on time while on the mission. "Anyway, I'll be okay." She waved to her captain before rushing off. She ran over to the 13th division and checked up on Captain Ukitake, but didn't stay long as her concern for Tessa was first on her mind. And so she found herself in front of the Second Division doors once again. She was led inside, on the stipulation that she only stay long enough to ensure the health of the prisoner. Once arriving at the holding cells, she peered inside. "Sensei..?" She asked uncertainly. "Um... how are you feeling? Is it all right for me to be here right now, or...?" She trailed off.

After her former students had left, Saotome had sat, holding her head, trying to calm herself. She had to get out of this place soon. Training her students at the Academy usually took up most of her time, leaving little time for her to be left alone with her thoughts, or anything else. Now, locked in this cell, that's all she had. When she was alone with her thoughts, that's when It came around. The thing that she had tried to hide for more than five decades. If anyone else knew, surely she would suffer far worse than what she was now.

Hikari's words startled the instructor out of her thoughts. "Wha-? Oh, Misuzu. I'm sorry, I didn't hear you come in. Yes, it's perfectly alright for you to be here. As long as the guard gave you permission, that is." Saotome didn't think that the lieutenant would be sneaking into the cell block, but who knew what kind of ideas her other student would have given her. It seemed like something that Maruchinu would try. After a moment, Saotome added, "To tell you the truth, I'm glad you came back, Misuzu. I was worried about you."

The blonde shinigami waited for the guard to unlock the cell. When she was reminded to make it quick, she nodded. "No, I'm here because I requested through my captain, Sensei," she sighed, setting down her thick stack of paperwork. Hikari then reached forward and put her hand on her former instructor's forehead to check her temperature. She didn't feel warm, so Hikari continued by taking her pulse by the wrist. She remained quiet for awhile when Tessa mentioned being worried about her. Finally she spoke up. "Sensei, you don't need to be worried about me. If anything, I've been really worried about you!" She paused a moment to smile at her instructor, although it didn't quite reach her eyes. She just couldn't bring herself to admit how stressed and exhausted she really was. The instructor looked rather stressed out herself and Hikari didn't want to add to her troubles. She closed her eyes and reached forward, using her kido in an attempt to find a diagnosis. Unfortunately, she couldn't find a problem. "Hmm... Sensei, are you feeling tired? Can you tell me anything about how you're feeling?"

All the instructor could do was sigh. "No, really. Im fine, Misuzu. I'm more worried about you. The way you and Maruchinu were acting together just was not right. Did something happen between you two?" Saotome couldn't help but feel bad for lying to her former student, but there was really nothing that she could say. If anyone found out, not only would she be imprisoned or even terminated, but anyone who knew would suffer the same fate. There was no way she was going to put anyone through that.
Patting the space next to her on the bunk, she told Misuzu to sit. "If you really want me to feel better, just talk with me. I know you can't stay too long, but anything is better than sitting here alone."

The lieutenant laughed nervously. "Um, really? Do you think that we were acting different? Well maybe it's because we have a mission to go on tomorrow. Oh, I'm so sorry that you couldn't come with us... I promise I'll do my best to help protect the students should any problems arise. By the way, was there anything you wanted us to teach or show the students?" Hikari knew she was attempting to change the subject, but she didn't even know where to begin when thinking about her troubles with Tsu. It wasn't even completely him. Thoughts of Ayame plagued her mind as well. But she didn't think she'd be able to admit to her teacher that her very own sister was a deadly Espada.

Saotome was somewhat surprised when Misuzu changed the subject yet again. Something was definitely wrong with those two. And it had to have been bad if she refused to tell her what it was. Maybe it would be for the best if she let the subject drop. Instead, she answered Misuzu's question. "You remember the lessons you were taught during your training exercise, don't you? As long as you three remember that, you will do great. Just keep an eye on Touben. He tends to think he can do more than he's capable of."

"Yes, I remember. How could I forget?" Hikari said softly, smiling at her instructor. She was glad that the subject was dropped even if just for the time being. She would possibly talk to Tessa later, after they were alone and out of earshot of others. And maybe she could help her former instructor because she also had the feeling that the woman was troubled over something, but Hikari couldn't begin to guess what it was. "And that boy, Touben-san, is a handful? Well, I'm sure that Maruchinu-san won't hesitate to punish him if he gets out of hand. And yes, Sensei, I will be right there to make sure he doesn't go overboard." She was fully aware that she was addressing Tsurabisu very formally, but she figured that she was talking to her former teacher about a classmate anyway, and so it was only right that she use formal language. That and, well, she was trying to do everything possible to avoid getting too close to him and bothering him. But why would he ask her to go along on the mission? There were plenty stronger shinigami lieutenants to ask, so the reason wasn't that she was a lieutenant. And why in the world did he ask her to meet him that night? She sighed inwardly. "I wonder why Maruchinu-san even wants me to go? I mean, Madarame-san or Abarai-san would be a better choice, wouldn't they?" She chuckled. "I mean, I'm decent with fighting but I'm nowhere near the level of any of them when it comes to fighting. And I doubt they need a healer, unless they plan on encountering some really dangerous Hollow. Maybe I shouldn't go. What do you think, Sensei?" The real reason she didn't want to go was because she was trying to avoid Tsurabisu, but she didn't want to admit that part of it.

Tsu quickly blocked the slash with the flat of his blade and countered with a diagonal slash, catching the goggles with the tip of his blade, the blade cleaving the left lens in two. The Substitute Instructor was careful to make sure he didn't hit the boy's eye, but he wanted to make a point. The kid had to step up his game a bit.

He saw how he blocked his attack and then countered it by making contact with his goggles, which split into two. He stepped back and removed the lenses and threw them. Amazed at the speed he just crossed his arms. 'I must see if he can endure more.' 'Come on Haru, don't die on us.' she thought while walking around.'He then gave a sigh, and rushed again, doing the same move as before. 'What is he doing.' they both thought as they watched Haru rush again. "We must do something before he regrets his choice that he just made."He stood up and and turned back.'I never seen her this worried, since she is all acting weird. Maybe I should, but he must do thing on his own, and me helping him won't solve anything.' He replied to her. "No, why should I.""I can't believe you, you will just let him die, not wanting to be release. Some nerve you got. Well if you don't want to help them don't, but I won't be here any longer with someone that only thinks of him self."That being said she left further into Haru's soul plain. 'She will do that for that kid, why... I guess she just want to be free from this silence, maybe, even from me....'

"You know, you seem to know quite a bit about all of this," Ayame said, staring at him. "So if someone informed you of the situation and sent you here, wouldn't you want to report this to that same 'someone'?" Ayame stared on ahead past Drake. "I'm going to continue my search for them." Before anyone other than I has the opportunity to kill them both.

Damian had listened to all that was said but had suddenly went into silent mode as he looked out over the field. Aizen was too powerful to confront at this current point in time and therefore doing so was only going to lead to defeat. Damian needed to train himself and his skills to perfect his technique before going back to Hueco Mundo and retaking the throne. What would he do then though? Was he truly in a leading mood? No. He would defeat that pompous a*****e then that fox faced b*****d then even the blind wonder if he decided to get in the way of his battle. The fourth was the weakest and therefore not even that big of a concern. Damian could kill him with ease right now if he needed to. Ayame and Drake leaving was something that he had expected and the want to follow them was beat back by pure arrogance. He didn't need them to defeat Aizen... Well he did maybe it was concern that kept him rooted to the spot. Ayame would be in danger if she came and that was something he didn't want. "Leave. You better keep her safe a*****e. Or I will kill you myself." Turning in the opposite direction Damian narrowed his eyes at the strong reiatsu in the distance. 'Imbecile.' Looking down at the tattoo he had cherished for so long he reached down and grabbed onto the skin keeping it there and with one burst of strength and speed pulled the skin clean off grunting in pain. He didn't need them to fight Aizen either. Throwing the chunk of skin to the ground he looked down at his chest leaking blood again. Whatever. Pointing a finger at his chest he fired a weak bala cauterizing the wound and stopping the bleeding. Time to find his first 'training' partner. Disappearing using sonido he began moving through the field doing a circle around Ayame and Drake and heading for Karakura Town staying clear of the two of them for the time being. Arriving a short time later he ran his hand through his hair and let out a sigh. There didn't seem to be any strong Shinigami in the area though there were certainly a few strong hollow signatures. Raising his reiatsu slightly to attract someones attention leaving his hands down at his side wearing a cold expression. It didn't really matter if anyone of importance came he just wanted someone to test his experimental ability on. Looking down at his tattered robes he let out a sigh making a mental note to take a trip back to Las Noches to grab some spare robes. 'Come on.'

She knew she had to make it quick. "Um, just a few more minutes." Hikari turned back to the instructor. "Well, I'm supposed to finish my checkup, I guess," she said hopelessly.

'Come on.'

Kasumi stopped on the dark cement that she was walking home on when she felt the espadas spirit pressure raise. Kas looked around "What are they!" She thought as she used heirinkeyoko to be on the top of a building where she could see the espada on standing the ground "C***p." Kas thought as she backed away from the edge of the building "It's That Espada."

Tsu had waited long enough for Datto to try something. Useless... The Substitute Instructor pushed the clumsy student out of the way and released his Zanpakuto. In a fiery flash, his wrist blades extended, blocking Haru's attack. With his other set of claws, he trapped Haru's sheath between the blades, locking it in place. "Are you even trying?" With that, he delivered a headbutt to the kid.

Feeling the full impact of the headbutt, he flinched for a bit. Ow, that hurt. Whoa, is that his zanpakuto... He saw Datto on the ground. He remove his sheath from the lock, and pulled back his zanpakuto. "How much longer for the trip?" After that was said he rushed back only turning to the right after he reached a couple of feet. After leaving him, she went further into Haru's Soul plain. 'Must find away to help him to get me out of here with that jerk. Never been here before, might explore it.' The marshy floor had shifted into a clear white tile, where she could see her reflection. As she looked around she found an orb glass containing something that was coiling. "Wonder what is that thing." "Release."is what it said. Thinking about getting free she quickly responded to the voice "How?" It didn't responded. The coil figure rotated and its eyes lock into hers as it was glowing a greenish silver. It then said the same thing."Release." That said, her eyes took the same color.'She been gone a long time, maybe she did found a...' He felt something ominous around him. "It can't be that she found him." That said he rushed towards her. 'Hope I am not to late.
