"I will let you bind my powers, if it helps get my mission accomplished." Delrath replyed with ease. He knew he would not harm anyone unless he was ordered to or given the ok by Hades or one of the other Gods, but the King did not trust him yet, and he understood this.

Zig eyebrows raised of their own accord. Evidently the reaper was pretty willing to give in to the king's demands. He probably wants us to trust him although whether for good or bad purposes I can't tell. Her sky blue eyes drifted over to look at Tala who had just approached recently, but she soon redirected her view back towards the king and reaper.

The reaper seemed readily enough to allow the King to bind his powers, but it was still unclear whether that was a clever facade to get the people in the courtyard to trust him enough to get his true intentions underway or not.
Tala watched darkly at the exchange that was taking place before them and was wary about trusting him for exactly that reason.

"Good. I can tell you really need this." Colm said waving his hand has the reaper powers were bound. "All done, now you may come." The king led the reaper to the castle doors.

"Wouldn't you at least wonder why he would ask about the war, then suddenly say he had orders from hades to intervene in it? That's not the only inconsistency in his story thus far. " And they say wisdom comes with age... Kel shook his head in disbelief. He had an unshakable feeling that the reaper was merely there to manipulate things to his own advantage. He turned and pointed his lightning claymore at the reaper. "He's a fraud. He has to be." Kel started walking toward the castle gates to leave but stopped and shouted something back to the king. "Confiscate that sword! You can bind his power, but it won't matter if he can still use that sword."

This is certainly interesting. I should go back to the tavern and see if Valkyrie has gotten back yet. She needs to know what has happened.Tala gave one last dark look at the retreating backs of both the reaper and the King before turning to Zig. "I have to leave you now; I must go and find my companions and tell them what has taken place. It was nice to meet you, although it would have been much nicer if it hadn't been under the previous circumstances." Tala smiled warmly at her. "May the Heat of the Earth keep you from the Cold of Darkness." A traditional farewell. Tala turned to look at Kel and his bandaged arm. Why he was so bent on keeping it to himself, she still did not know. But there was more than meets the eye. Tala smiled at him as well. She gave a short whistle and Makani got to her feet. As she strode out of the courtyard gates with a puzzled frown on her face, she couldn't help but think that this war would be hard to keep a secret from humans. [Exit to Tavern]

Zig nodded her head and Tala and said, "I am also glad to have met you though I agree about the circumstances. Good luck finding your companions. I hope they have succeeded in their aims." She watched the woman go until she was at the courtyard gates then Zig thought about where she'd be going. She could follow the king and reaper, but she was beginning to become sick of the conversation between them. They might not even want anyone around while they talked. She could of course remain with Taun or Kel, but she wasn't sure what she'd do with them either. While she thought she stayed inside the courtyard.

Delrath watched as the King bound his powers. After, the king began to lead him toward the Castle doors. He then heard a man shout from behind about taking his sword, and he stopped walking. He turned his head slightly and replyed. "The sword has power of it's own, but it also draws out power from it's user, making it twice as powerful. But with my powers binded, I would only be able to use the sword with it's power, which is not allowed by Hades or the Legion of Reapers." He then turned and proceeded walking the direction the king was leading him.

Knowing the battle was over and most of the good stuff was done Zakura got up yawning as he made his chair melt back into water as he headed back to the bar hoping to get a nice buzz.

"This isn't going to end well, course I won't be able to tell the king 'I told you so.' Ah well... Whatever happens, I guess." As Kel passed his sheath he kicked it up into the air and held up the electrified claymore letting the sheath fall into place around the blade. He lowered the weapon and rested it on his shoulder continuing to walk out of the gate He appeared to be headed off toward the edge of town.

Zig saw Kel head off and decided she probably would too. S'pose the tavern would be the best place to go. It ought to be interesting at least. She decided to ask Taun if he'd also like to head back there. After all he was one of the few people she'd met so far and it'd be nice to have someone she knew around besides Tala who would probably be busy with her companions. Zig walked over to where Taun was still at by the gate. "I think I'll be heading back to the tavern," she said. "Would you like to come too?" As she waited for an answer the air elementalist stroked Axex's feathers gently. It was an absentminded gesture of habit. In fact she often forgot the vulture was even on her shoulder as long as he remained calm though that wasn't exceedingly common due to his nature.

"Sure," Taun replied after hearing Zig. "That does seem like the best place to go. A little 'liquid courage' after what happened eh?" he said as he nudged her in the side. "Come on last one there buys!" he yelled back as he started off at a trot.

"Such courage will probably be useful," Zig said slightly surprised at being poked in the ribs although not particularly bothered by it. She didn't expect Taun to run off and realized she definitely wanted to get there first. So she took off from the gate while simultaneously throwing her bag up in the air for Axex to grab. She poured on the speed using her air powers so she could catch up to and pass the water elementalist.

Hrothgar ascended the hill and entered the gateway. He paused looking on in surprise to the damage the courtyard. Seeing craters and damage debris, Hrothgar started to walk forward toward the castle entrance. "This is my kinda mess. This keeps getting better." Obsidion followed blindly as always.
