Elemental Draconis Cabron LaSwan Elemental Draconis I'm going to be gone soon... Out of the only place I've known in my whole life... the only country I've been in... A lot's going to change.... I'm excited, and a little scared. But I am looking forward to it. It's going to be within two weeks!~ Whatcha doin'? I'm going to Australia, as Reg already said. I'm going there for myself. Not just to see my boyfriend.
He already wants to take me everywhere. xD He's been writing down places to take me. And we'll be playing games and just hanging out. And Magic the Gathering! 8D He also plans on buying a new camera just for this vacation. He wants to take a lot of pictures. xD ... he said mostly of me. But there will be pictures! And I promise not to be in all of them.
Water running backwards, thanks for reminding me. I DID want to check that out.
@ Glaru: I do anyway. I learned my lesson when a roach came out of my sandal one day. gonk Spiders scare the bejeebers outta me, so I'll be checking. They're allot bigger so look forward to that. Like allot allot bigger.

Cabron LaSwan Supersephiroth7 I feel pretty lost. I don't feel like I really have a place in this world. I always feel like people just tolerate me. It's not the way things used to be back home, but I guess that's what happens when you're in a place where no one really shares a common interest with you. I don't think I can keep this up and I'm probably not going to re enlist. Everyone told me so many stories about the bonds I'd form with people and how I'd have a "family" and never miss home. It's definitely quite the opposite. This whole military thing isn't cutting it for me. Sure I love my job, but I just don't enjoy being here. Maybe it's just not your kind of thing. I'm sure you'll find your place if you keep looking. When you were a kid, what did you see yourself doing when you grew up? It's never too late to give that another try. If you can't think of anything, maybe you could do a little volunteer work until you find something that inspires you? It feels really good to know that you're making a positive difference in somebody else's life, and I find that people who volunteer are usually very optimistic, accepting, and just generally uplifting to be around.
And, you know, maybe you don't even need a specific place in the world to enjoy your life. Even if all you ever find in life is a way to make yourself happy, I'm sure anyone truly worth calling a friend would be proud of you just for that.
Just find something that makes you feel good and stick with it, bro. Nothing else matters. That's what I'm thinking, although I might do it as a civilian because the money is good. When I was a kid? I saw myself as a chemist or a forensic scientist. I still want to do that, but becoming a pastry chef is on my list now. I do bake a lot, but now the kitchen is being renovated so I have no where to bake. I do love helping people, so that's probably a good idea. Dealing with people that aren't military might help. I Guess so. I was so happy back home, but I guess on the other side, I can't complain since I have a stable job and what not.

Well, you know, they say chemistry and baking are the exact same thing, but on different sides of the spectrum of edibility. Maybe you could do both. razz
I know baking is something you're really passionate about, so I think you could become a really successful pastry chef. Who knows? Maybe there'll be an opening for a baker somewhere when you get back home.

I don't get it. I don't smoke pot anymore, I eat fruits and vegetables every day, I drink a ******** of water, I get plenty of sleep, and I exercise regularly. I'm the healthiest I've ever been, and physically I feel worse than I can ever remember. Is it all in my head? Stress? Anxiety? Boredom? I'm happy, but does a part of me want something it's not getting?
Maybe I'll cut back on the gaming a bit and put a little more variety into my days. Being up during the days means I can play guitar while everyone is at work, after all.
