Oh wow, I love those pictures. they look great biggrin Lucky You!

So, I'm working on a birthday present for a friend of mine with a fascination with Catwoman. She told me she wanted something that reminds her of me. Since she has the habit of taking my favorite hats, I figure I'd make her one. So I went out and bought a black Yankees cap to be my canvas. The theme for the project is Michelle Phieffer's costume from Batman Returns. Here it is half way through:







The front and bill are going to be the most ambitious part, and I still need to get some supplies for it, but that should give you a pretty good indication of what it is. wink

Our friend got a new tablet thingie that means you can draw straight onto the computer without mucking about with scanners, and gave us the old one! This is our first attempt of pencilling, inking and colouring in Photoshop, so be gentle with us:



Naturally we drew The Doctor because Doctor Who's currently back on telly and there are very few other things that can occupy our head while this state exists.

We found looking at the screen while we were moving the pen difficult at first, like that game where you have to move one arm in a clockwise circle and the other in an anti-clockwise circle, which we suspect is impossible and the whole thing merely a ruse to get someone to stand there windmilling their arms about like a prat.

We also found out you can have drawing conversations on MSN Messenger. These were many and hilarious.

Yes... yes that is embroidery. :B I've got pleeenty of time to figure out what the hell my limited talents can applique that to. XP

I was going though my stuff, and found some of the stuff i did in art class. one thing i always like was this scratch art deal we had to do. where it was this black top where you scratch it to get to the white stuff underneth (not sure what that stuff is called. anyways, i made this while i was in 11th grade. and was really into FLCL. so I made a a scratch art of a page from the manga. I seem to only be really good at drawing if i have something to look at and trace with my eyes.
