 Happily carrying his prizes, Darrah found himself standing at a table that sold sweets. Since he had already eaten the the bag of brownies with the help of his new familiar, the Coatl currently coiled loosely around his neck, he decided it was definitely time for a new treat. He looked at all the available treats curiously and settled on a white box shaped like a heart with a black bow tying it closed. After he'd paid for the chocolates, he found an empty corner and took a seat. He pulled the ribbon loose and popped one of the white chocolates in his mouth with a pleased sigh.Darrah's Prizes Week One

 Bibiana skipped a bit as she wandered the party. There were so many games to play! She stopped at one that had a large round bowl of water with a couple dozen plastic hearts floating on the surface. All she had to do was pick one and see what her prize would be! She giggled and picked one from the center of the bowl, cheering when it turned out to be a plushie. Thre one she was given was a pink and white vespercat, just like her new friend. "Look, Baby, this one looks like you!"

 Nasrin was looking around distractedly when he dropped one of his plushies. Still half distracted, he reached down to pick it up only to feel something rather warmer than a plush under his hand. He gasped and fell backward, landing on his buttons and staring at the red and pink jackalope. Next to it was his plush that matched it completely. The young demon giggled a bit. "Aren't you a cutie?" he murmured and reached forward to pet the jackalope who leaned closer to sniff at the fingers that were outstretched toward him. Kaname followed her gaze, eyes landing on the duck pond game.... They squinted a little, eyes taking a moment to adjust. Ah! That seemed simple enough. "O-okay..!" They grinned, holding onto Piper's hand with a somewhat firm grasp as she pulled them through the crowd. They were happy to have made a friend so quickly- Piper seemed very nice! They just wished they could actually use up all the energy they had inside.
Once at the activity, they waited their turn until a pole was handed to them. The person running it gave a basic run-down of how to play, Kaname nodded along with them. "Okay... S-seems simple enough...!" They smiled a little, then cast their rod out over the pond -- and successfully managed to snag one of the ducks! Carefully, they reeled the duck in, and then hoisted them up into the air. "Ah...! I d--id it!" Excited, they looked over to Piper as their wings fluttered a little.
The attendant unhooked the duck, then tossed it back into the water before passing the rod to Piper for her turn. Meanwhile, their assistant flagged Kaname down to choose a ring... They ended up going for a pretty pink one, and slipped it onto one of their fingers, then turned to watch how Piper did.

 As Freddy, Nef, and Percy tried to find a good game to win prizes for each other, there was a little winged stalker following them. It seemed more than one nezubat was interested in candy at this festival. They'd been following ever since they watched the exchange of jawbreakers and brownies between Nef and Freddy. They were determined to get a treat for themselves, no matter how sneaky they had to be about it! They flitted between stalls, keeping a close on on the trio of freshlings and waiting for the right moment to try to sneak a treat away. The presence of the vespercat made things a bit harder...  Rajna paused a little bit awkwardly, shuffling her feet inwards as she suddenly had nothing to say. As if to fill the sudden silence, Rajna gave a laugh. She realized she had made things weird with her comment about the taste in plushies, especially when Galan looked just as confused as she felt alien. But, Rajna wasn't as much of a lost hope as she thought she was. The boy responded back, after realizing what she was talking about, and the girl gave a heavy, relieved sigh. "Thank goodness!" she murmured under her breath as the boy occupied himself as he peered around for a gift for his friend. She didn't know if the conversation was over or what, and so she just stood there, holding the strap of her messenger bag and blinked rather owlishly, a small smile still on her lips just incase the daydream turned back towards her to continue the conversation. At least that way, Rajna wouldn't look too uncomfortable. Gulp. Why was socializing so hard? Rajna waited a few more seconds, moving her foot slowly back as the boy seemed to go about his own business, but as the boy turned back to her she snapped her foot back in, long tail swishing sharply to one side -- something she often did when fearful of getting caught -- and smiled wider. "Oh! Pretty bracelet!" Rajna leaned in a little, peering closer at the red hue of the accessory. "Depending on the person's taste, I think it could make a good gift! Who is it for?" she asked curiously. Just then, another plushie caught her eye. Rajna saw a Fennekit plush that was now poking out of the pile of items sorted on the table before them. It had been hiding among the nezubats, and now that the goblin she was talking to had also purchased one, it made the darling thing all the more visible. Rajna didn't hesitate and swiftly bought the cute little thing. As she held it in her arms, she noticed the goblin's colours. As much as she wanted to add the plushie to her own collection of items, the goblin matched the fennekit toy so well. "Here," she said. "For you."Was that weird? It was probably weird.

 "Oh he's, er..." He trailed off, unsure of how best to describe Rhys. "He's very energetic! He's my Little Brother," he explained, inspecting the bracelet and hoping it was safe for Freshlings.
Then he picked up on her nervousness, the flick of her tail, the unsteady glance. He offered a sweet smile and put out a hand to her in formal greeting. "Where are my manners! I'm Galan, a pleasure to make your acquaintance!" He fell silent while she bought a second plushie, admiring its soft fluffiness with a broad smile. As she turned back towards him, he continued in a chipper tone, "They said this ball was intended to help us meet fellow students, so I'm glad that--" He was interrupted by her offering the plushie to him and flushed bright mint. "For me? Really? But I..." Now it was his turn to panic. He cast his glance desperately around, looking for something he could get her in return.
He caught a bright glimmer in the same colour as her eyes at the stall that sold the bracelets. With a delighted sound of success, he pounced forward to snatch it before someone else beat him to it. He paid for the trinket and turned back to her with a big smile. "Here! For you!" He took the plushie gratefully, hugging it happily to his chest, nuzzling the top of its head with his chin, and held out the necklace with his other hand, letting it dangle and glitter in the light.

Eidil brought Cal over to a duck matching game. It was pretty fun, and pretty harmless. On their first turn, Eidil won a copy of Outsider. -- Callessa did not win anything. -- Verity deposited her books next to her sleeping son, and found a cat watching over him. She smiled and scratched its ears. It seemed friendly, and nuzzled her hand. "I think we'll keep you," she told it. It blinked lazily at her. -- Batholith's next dart hit true, however, and he won another rock--rhodochrosite.  -- Evey nodded reluctantly, but took another spin. She smiled when she won a bag of brownies. "Let's go home, Da." -- Zalir followed Anchriesel across the room. -- Anchriesel settled them at a beanbag toss. His first throw did well--he won another book. -- SL found a ring toss game, which he did pretty well at. His throws went around the pole, earning him an aetherjelly in a bag. -- Ustule didn't win anything. -- Talya's ring toss won her another prize--this time, she picked a pretty box full of chocolates. -- Quilo moved on to a beanbag toss attended by a couple of juniors. He didn't do too badly--but he just picked a plastic arrow to write a message to Ella on. -- Aura continued on to dart game. This they did a little better at--enough to earn a red bracelet. Good enough.

Jezebeth could see how much thought Eno was putting in to his next action. The fact he was putting so much thought into it was sort of reassuring and it was helping her to brush off her own nerves. This was Eno after all, she doubted he could do anything to upset her or make her like him any less. She had finished up her brownie in enough time for her to settle down completely.
She stood up then and held her hand out for Eno's to take. "Let's go see our tree! But I'm just gonna grab one more thing before we leave." She had seen a booth that was giving out books, but caught up in play some games and then enjoying a small snack with Eno, she had forgotten all about them until now. So she led them over to one of the booths to pick one out. It might be cold outside, but curled up in Eno's lap they might be able to enjoy reading while they were out there after the...uh...probably a kiss...
One the way out she also managed to pick up some assorted chocolates. Alright, hopefully that would help with the mood!
