Time as in time of day? Well, I don't know. We don't have a standard. Right now the best thing to do is post what time frame you want in your character's post and everyone follows along.

I like to read both. They each have a wide variety of interesting stories. Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei, the guy who made Shaman King, are even working together to doing a manga called Karakuri Doji Ultimo.
Out of all the mangas I've read my all time favorite is Rave, then D. Gray Man and One Piece, and finally Bleach and Fairy Tail.

Ah yeah, Ultimo. I tried getting into that, but it just wasn't doin' it for me.
When I was into manga, I remember enjoying Tenjho Tenge a bit. Oh Great's a decent artist. I didn't care for his other work, Air Gear, though, but Tenjho Tenge was great. Claymore was a good read, too. What else? I remember starting to get into Black God, and of course there's Buso Renkin. I think my all time favorite was One Piece.

One Piece is too long in my opinion. I like Ultimo though. Once Nora is over, I might stop reading manga and stick soley to Marvel comics. Not DC. DC comics sucks.
