okay, this may not have anything to do with art, but i don't know where els to ask. but does any one know a web site, where i could test Ragdoll physics. because i need to see how a body would react if it where hit by a big car/truck moving at 45-55 m/h. the only ragdoll physic thing i could find is some game use Bush as a Ragdoll falling down a pit (not every usefull)

The only thing I could think of would be to play around with the modding tools for games that use physics engines like that such as Half Life 2 or Max Payne 2. Or watch a lot of CSI.

And my birthday arrives early. heart whee heart whee heart
She's sitting right on top on my entertainment center near the front door. This way I have Zinda saluting whenever I enter or leave the house. whee
As awesome as the pictures posted are, the real thing is amazing. The only other bust I have of any comic character is the Black Widow one Marvel put out a few years ago which my father won as a door prize at a convention and then gave to me. Don't know who sculpted that, but they don't hold a candle to Linda. heart
That being said, I'll be finishing up the pencils tonight, and starting inking tomorrow.

OK, I lied. I just spent the last couple of hours inking. I've still got some detail stuff to tighten up. I'm looking at it and wishing I had a program that could color it and the knowledge to use it. stressed sweatdrop I had the notion to try doing it with markers, but that would have looked horrible.
*Drums fingers.*
Hrm....

I don't like it, I LOVE IT! heart heart heart Big gushing love. Incredible I'm-not-worthy love. Devious 'it's mine, all mine, Daffy Duck yelling at Bugs about Ali Baba's treasure" love.
I'm hoping to get my project done and shipped Monday.
Randy Bowen did that Black Widow mini-bust I mentioned, and yeah, you totally blew it out of the water. The missus couldn't believe her eyes when she saw it. She hadn't seen the pictures on here and was wondering why I was at the drawing table so much lately. I told her about the exchange and she was just thinking it would be just a little something simple. She saw lil Zinda saluting her when she got home this morning and her jaw was on the floor. heart heart heart
Last night I was all "OK, I'm going finish up these pencils, I've finally got the references I need." (side note: the DC Encyclopedia I got for Christmas has n entry for the Anti-Moniter. WTF?) So, I finish the pencils, and say "Alright, I'm just going to ink this bit here." And that gets finished, so it's "Well, I'll just work this bit here." And that got done, and I'm having a ball with my new supplies so it turned into "OK I'll just ink in the upper right portion." (I'm left handed so I always ink right to left.) And it pretty much kept going until suddenly I thought, "Hey, what time is it? TWO?!"

Oh sweet, Going to post it when you're finished??
I started woodburning again biggrin . Which is soooo nice!!! Except for the horrid smell that is. *collects a lot of spray bottles of febreze.* domokun (or at least i'm told it is a horrid smell. *loves it*)
It's so nice to do art again, though it's a work in progress sense it's been raining lately and if i want to do it now i have to wait until i'm sure that Aurora is sleeping sense she now has the habbit of walking out of her room after i've put her to bed. *rubs the footprint on her face from when she put Aurora down to bed.*

Aaaaand, back to Kinkos I have gone. I think I've gotten the clean up down so I should get a better product. I'll know tomorrow, if that works out, I should be shipping it out on Wednesday.

My friend actually drew this for me like a year ago for my 25th birthday. Never actually transfered it because things kept on coming up.I was unable to find the time to do it outside like ordered to do by the landlady. But yeah, This really doesn't look 100 % of his work of a phoenix but it comes close biggrin . still In the process of working on it. doing some more details on the wings and neck. possibly some other places.. That is when I have a free chance.
