Caught in the updraft, she gave in for a moment to the fear that had caught her right before her glider had steadied itself. Her heart leaped into her throat and she panicked, going as far as to let out a yell.

She wasn't sure where the word came from, or why that one word alone seemed just enough to make her take a breath and force her heart back down. "I know..."
Raedala landed after one more pass, content with having tamed the winds... For now, at least. She brushed her fingers lightly over her glider before making her way over to the shrines, claiming one of the blessings for herself.
She took a deep breath as she walked over to the gliders once more. How would her luck fair this time? To be honest, Daaiji didn't know, but she hoped it would fair well.
