Kenta's surprise attack seemed to be effective. To a degree. As the blast washed over the Entity's body it reacted with only mild annoyance, flinching less in pain and more underneath the sheer pressure. However as the ball of smoke rose to the ceiling revealing the effects it had on the Entity, one could see the damage done. The Entitys body, or rather the Emperor's body, sizzled wherever it wasn't charred dry. Tiny flames flickered out of life in the devils hair all along its left side, its skin decorated with black patches of burned flesh. For any other fighter this was the end of the line. Who could or would fight under such physical condition? But the Entity only growled in response, appearing to be less concerned with the burns than it was by the fact that it missed its attack. It appeared that like anyone else this beast took time to adapt to unfamiliar fighting styles.
For some this behavior would clarify an important factor of the battle: the Entity was indeed controlling this body, it wasn't assuming it as its own. The Dark Entity as that, an entity, didn't reside entirely in Taliman's body. It was still in the blade, still in the room surrounding the fighters. Wesley's tiny frame gave it a powerful tool to achieve its ends in this reality but attacking him, or even destroying him, would only slow it down. Perhaps it didn't even feel pain. Only forces far greater than these beings could muster could eliminate this new foe. But if defeating it wasn't an option, what exactly could be done to stop it? Would the General's friends truly find it in themselves to kill their hero's killer? That certainly didn't seem to be what Tybron wanted, but what other choices were there?
As the new General, Saewin, charged in the Entity was more than happy to meet him in combat. Spinning to face the Saiyajin with arms wide, the Entity brought its psychokinetic powers again into play. The broken floor beneath was crushed through unseen telekinetic manipulation, the broken and charred floorboards scooped to one side. Simultaneously a jet blast of coarse earth billowed from the ensuing hole from under the foundation. Made of the very rock and dirt that Club Orion was built on this rising blast sprayed at an angle at Caine, the fine particles tearing against his skin and into his eyes.
The torrent of earth was only a distraction, unable to stop or deter Saewin. It would at best throw off his aim. That was all the Entity wanted. Upon exiting the curtain of earth born matter Caine was confronted by an unadulterated thrust from the wraithlike Shinorei, the piercing end of the weapon aiming to transfix the Saiyajin warrior after plunging itself through his chest.
