"Focus on his arm!" Kenta shouted, expecting Yo-ko not only to know it was him to whom the boy was speaking, but also which arm he was talking about. Kenta personally saw no reason to relay this telepathically because he was no more aware of what Yo-ko could do than Tali, or whoever was behind the wheel of Tali's body - so he hoped.

He was already in motion by the time Tama's attack was being countered. There was nothing he could do to stop Tama from being thrown into the ground, but Kenta launched himself back into the lounge, vaulting over the possessed emperor and the blind giant, shifted his barrier a foot to the left, and with his right hand threw a condensed ki ball directly at his uncle's chest.

Unimpeded, the attack was very basic - mostly force - and Kenta would merely drop into a roll further into the burning room, and recover gracefully. The attack, if it hit, had an equivalent force relative to a well placed boot over the aortic arch. Definitely not a kill shot, but Kenta was hoping for a solid hit while praying that his theoretical understanding of the humanoid body panned out.

{{O well the blast pal was never meant to hit it was simply a blast type of attack, like thrusting the energy forward and into Tali before the hand actually touched but I roll with it.}}

Sama had his heart rate steady as he focused on his counter, moving like a fluid and with the force of a tidal wave. The palm strike released then energy and as it did it was defended by a wall of energy from the entity as well. Sama wasn’t surprised and expected such counter as the man came around for the throw/take down. Sama’s arm got wrapped up but the second it did he switched his grip. Turning his right arm so the palm faced up and just as he felt his wrist get grabbed he went into motion. Sama was big but that didn’t mean his reflexes were slow, he could see Judo throw techniques being implemented most of the time before the attacker knew what to do.

By coming in the way he did Sama could turn this to his advantage fast, his enemy gave him his back! Without warning his strong base let go as the fluid man was thrown but not without consequence, in fact he was thrown almost too easy…because he rolled into it. At the same time his legs curled in while his left arm, waiting to respond, wrapped up tightly around the neck so when he went down on his back he was taking Tali with him and putting him in a position where he couldn;t get that elbow off effectively. The ground shook with a violent rumble as the 349 pound behemoth rolled onto the ground dragging the lighter foe with him with ease. He was attempting a rear naked choke and with Tali focused on the throwing arm his hands would be hard pressed to stop the left arm from doing anything. The Devil, while in mid throw, quickly locked in his legs, hooking his heels just on the inside of Tali’s thighs. Why this instead of hooking them together? Because by wrapping around the waist and upper thighs he could control how Tali bucked if he tried to get out, but now it was a game of strength.

He quickly flexed his arm with the bicep digging right into throat, his right arm violently pulling in and up as he hugged his enemy close and flexed hard! If all worked out it would feel like being crushed under the weight of a building and if Tali didn’t let go of his right arm and focused on keeping his air way clear, he was going out in 30 seconds or less. If he kept struggling Sama had no problem holding tighter to fracture the skull or even the neck bones, whatever it took to end this and save lives.

The Gatekeeper's brilliant submission hold went through without a hitch. The elbow attack had lost most of its luster, the attack from the boy of the future just cementing the fact that Tamashii's counter would work. And it worked perfectly, the only downside of course being the combatant it had been locked onto. The Entity didn't try to fight its way out. In fact it released the left hand grip, switching to that of the right to hold the man's right arm in place instead. It stretched its left arm over the massive torso of Tamashii and opened its hand where the dark mist, which the black devil had unwittingly failed to avoid, lovingly reached out and took hold of the hand. Both fingers and wisps alike gripped tightly and the beasts arm flexed and secured that position with all its might. This pinned Tamashii down and kept him from escaping to his left. The position of the Dark Entity against him to the right prevented escape in that direction.

Now the darkness blanketing the ground around the two fighters hugged the Gatekeeper like glue. The two heels catching the Entity's legs would be ensnared as the black mist swelled and engulfed Tamashii's feet. His left hand around the Emperor's neck was caught as well, actually preventing him from breaking the rear naked even if he wanted to. Finally his shoulders, neck, hips and waist were caught, shadowy laces of darkness creeping out of the floor and tying him down like a wounded animal. This would all happen at once, just a moment after Tamashii secured the chokehold. It wouldn't be posisble to see it coming before it was too late.

At this point that singular, terrible voice again rang out into the room, filling the air with the stench of death.
"Glad to have you.. little soul..." The words were not Taliman's, an impossibility with his windpipe being crushed. He didn't need air to speak. The Dark Entity spoke for him. Samayou was a strong man so with enough prolonged concentrated effort he would be able to break free of this mist. But not if the beast succeeded in what it had planned. Salvation meant the complete absorption of the General Tybron Wesley, for whatever reason, but an appetizer wouldn't hurt. The Gatekeeper was a powerful fellow. His essence would prove to me a hearty meal. The ghostly arm that hovered around Taliman's now completely unhinged and rose above the two, claws aimed down. Uh oh.

Without further delay the ethereal hand speared down into Tamashii's chest like a striking snake. The force of the blow would obliterate a normal man, ripping him in messily two. As tough as this one was he would still suffer an angry looking break in the ribs, yet whether or not the ghost arm actually penetrated his body wasn't important. The hand in fact would pass into his body regardless where it latched onto his bodily energy. The same way it had with Tybron albeit much more direct. The black devil's energy would start to be pulled from his body en masse, a fact visibly indicated by the violet glow slowly taking over his body as his very soul was leeched out of him.

The Gatekeeper had seconds at best. Surley he would break out of the mist as it still swelled around the two warriors. Even as it strengthened against him, his raw physical power would undoubtedly prove great enough. But even he would succumb to this deadly assault before that point. If someone did not come to his aid in the next moment, he'd be gone forever. Normal death was one thing. Absorption by Shinorei was another entirely. Some pseudonatural creatures walked freely across the planes of the living and the dead with no worries of death. But when one's very essence of existence was taken away, one didn't merely die. That poor soul went to a very different place.

Completely ignored.

Whether by Tali, the Entity, or both, Kenta's attack was largely unimportant in the grand scheme of things. It almost looked as though his enemy wanted it to happen. As Kenta rolled and spun around, he watched in dismay as Tama seemed to be about to suffer a very unfortunate fate. A fate which Kenta had only helped secure.

Kenta had worked out that Taliman's right arm could probably do everything the Shinorei could, just like when the Seinorei infused itself into the arm of its wielder. Still, he had no way of knowing for sure, but he wasn't blind to evidence and he was certain that unless Tama could escape the mist and the piercing arm, he'd be out of the picture, leaving only Kenta and Yo-ko to fight while Kirra, Caine, and Cado seemed comfortable (or uncomfortable) just watching.

A few seconds...

Leaving no room for thought, Kenta cursed his luck as he made a mad dash back to the other side of the lounge - looking like a fool for launching himself across in the first place - while simultaneously digging his right hand into his pocket and pulling out the spell egg gifted to him by Miss Pith. Mid-travel, he ripped open a small pocket dimension from which he withdrew what looked like a a butterfly sword fused with a .44 Colt Anaconda. As he touched down and spun on the ball of his left foot, he once again shifted his barrier to the left and fired a shot at Tali's physical right arm.

The round, which was not a common bullet, but a synthetic, custom, hyper-cooled ceramic shell, was infused with just enough ki to burst on impact with whatever it collided with. The gun itself was designed by a man named Cyprus Jackyl, and was built specifically with people like the Orion patrons in mind. The speed of the projectile was so great that a cooling system had to be installed to prevent melting. It would hurt Tali. It would even hurt Tama. It could kill either one of them depending on the mark. So the hope was that the Entity would release Tama, be it due to pain or evasion. The fear was that Tama would be used as a meat shield right before his essence was sucked out of him.

{{Nah tis goods I thought the sword was extended or something from the energy so ether way it works. The only thing I’m worried about is not making this entertaining enough for our readers, or dying in this next move XD. Just to clarify I’m working off the assumption that all of my submission worked and if that is the case then I am flat on my back with your chest facing up, that means your spear Tali as well as me with the entity hand but I am assuming that is ok.}}

Sama had taken all events into account he was not some fool, granted he was not sure exactly what this Entity could do but as long as he kept this a hand to hand fight he could win hands down. There was no way to counter act all the attacks and in fact he wanted nothing to do with that ghostly arm. Fighting its energy attacks was not difficult, the essence of its being however was another story for it was an energy frequency he needed time to understand. He felt the cold touch of the black mist and knew its properties the moment he felt it, his eyes adjusting as he squeezed tighter. The mist seemed to hold the Devil for the moment but his strength was still available to him and crushing Tali’s neck. That is when he saw the hand delink and that was the moment he had to put it on the line.

The chaos that ensued occurred within the moment the hand rose to spear, the room went black! The lights going out with a surge of energy that ripped across the floor with a vroom! Charged particles ripping across the air as Sama released a surge of his energy, similar to what he had done to the fire beam but in massive quantities! With Tali’s body right on him this release would cause a few effects and hopefully the intended ones! With its arm hovering he was hoping the blast would primarily and in a literal sense blast the entity out of Taliman’s body! Dislodging it from Tali in a violent and hopefully unexpected eruption and hopefully drive the Entity back to its sword host. What would happen to that mist, it would be shred to pieces by the sheer intensity like tissue paper in a hurricane releasing Sama and Tali’s body from its grasp.

What would happen to Tali, well his back would be burned to all hell like someone had dropped him on a set of power lines and he would be sent hurling up into the ceiling, not much Sama could do about that. What would happen to the room well needless to say any patrons within 20 feet would be thrown back with violent force and any objects near him such as tables and chairs would be sent flying back in the dark. A few seconds after the release, and that is in a literal sense one did not use Chaos Energy they set it loose on their victims. Sama could be found all the way across the room on a knee breathing in a deep wind of air, his body pouring with steam. Trailing up to him from his original position on the floor was a solid black stream of boiling goo, discharge from the attack. The Devil was propped on one knee, his eyes looking up in hopes that he had sacrificed some of his body and ended this bout…for now at least. His body boiling hot but steady and ready to move on a moments notice.

A truly violent display, but it was too little too late. The massive expulsion of enegry was nothing if not an impressive feat of skill, of fluent use of the weapon known as Chaos. The burly devil used it like it was an extension of his own body, pure perfection of his form. But sometimes perfect just wasn't good enough. Indeed the body of the Emperor would be thrashed to hell. His body would suffer massive burns due to being in such close proximity to the blast, but what did the creature inside of him think about that? There was no wince of pain, yet the Entity physically reacted with a heavy upward jerk. But it didn't fly away. In fact it stayed firmly in Sama's chokehold, still without any breath. How was that possible?

Just before the attack, the mist would strengthen itself. Amplifying its own strength more than twofold it thickened and solidified, forming a semi-solid mass that cemented the two men in place. It seemed to react to the defensive attack before Samayou knew he was considering doing it. Otherwise his liberation would have no doubt been successful. The mist was weakened by the force, but by this time two events were already counteracting further attempts at escape. Unfortunately Tamashii's confidence in his own technique would perhaps further delay his own rescue. Though actively making an attempt, the future boy Kenta would no doubt have to deal with the explosive effects of the Chaos blast. If it affected him the way Tamashii expected it to, he'd lose precious seconds in saving the Gatekeeper's life.

Any strength Tamashii would muster would quickly begin to diminish as his soul was torn away from him by the parasite lurking inside of the Emperor. Worse still, the mist would quickly start to reform as it was weakened by the Chaos blast, so his waning attempts at freedom would be cut off before they could really start rolling. It was truly a foolish notion to hope that attack would have ended the carnage. Perhaps freedom was closer to the Gatekeeper's grasp, but the Entity was no amateur nor was it weakened from its hiberation. Or was it truly hibernating? So little was known about this monster. All that was known was that it was about to take Samayou Tamashii's life unless someone could stop it.

Kirra had not been sitting idly by, like Kenta thought. Rather, he had been hovering outside the lounge, deftly avoiding the wicked energy that was literally tearing up and burning down the walls of the club. This was where Kirra differed so greatly from Jade.

Instead of jumping head first into the fray, Kirra took her time, analyzing and learning. Kenta came to the same conclusion just a moment before she did, shouting it out to Yo-ko. There was another advantage to her having waited to join the battle.

She had been outside the blast range of Samayou's escape attempt.

Now was her chance to dive in, because if she didn't then Tamashii might not make it out alive. Her heels dug into the wood floor as she bolted in closer, ensuring she wouldn't miss. Ki was concentrating in her right arm, hand, down to her fingertips, growing in intensity. She had one shot before she was spotted, better make it count.

Kirra closed in, lifting her hand into a gun shape, her middle and index fingers pointed at Taliman's possessed body. She closed a green eye, sighting. It was a pity she'd had to damage Taliman himself, but he would recover. Better than having this thing controlling him. Fired.

Her clothing and hair rippled back behind her from the blast she fired from her finger tips. Kirra had closed the distance, now within fifteen feet of the grappling pair. Any other time, she'd have made a comment on the scene, but she would save it for later. If there was one.

{{Yeah nah its cool i figured as much, just look like an oppurtune moment to be suicidal and display just how much brunt my guy can take cause wel...thats all he can really do LMAO.}}

Sama was in a disapointed state but for a second, his hopes had failed in a single attack but he was not down for the count. Like many men before him they had tried to taken his soul, if he had one or not even he was unsure of this. All he knew as he did the only thing he could think of, squeeze tighter! The Devil did not have amazing abilities like the others he couldn’t fly or teleport at an instant, he couldn’t create a forty Ki ball attack or discs of death but what he did had…he used very well. His body sparked with the black current as he kept it flowing, tapping into Chaos ever so gently and keep of flow of energy around him as he squeezed the entity. At the same time he was letting this energy rip away at the mist tearing it to break free while internally it was a whole other battle.
The Entity invaded into his spirit and as it did so it was forced back by something, a power of great if not greater evil that resided in Samayou! A force vile and beyond measure that would push back and fight the entity tooth and nail with the ferocity of any beast to keep its territory. Another Evil had claimed this body and soul and would not give it up without a fight, unfortunately this Evil was but a shadow of its former self. Even combined with Sama’s will strength the Entity was a collection of evil that in time would overcome him so Sama did the only thing he could do.

Hold out as long as he could and hope that some help would be along shortly.

"Kuso~"

Tama's response to Tali, though probably effective, damn near spelled doom for Kenta. He had pulled the trigger a split second before realizing what Tama was about to do, and only had about as much time to respond. The bullet collided with the wall of force, burst, and was then projected back toward him. Whereas the initial shot would have hit Tali's arm, the ricocheted fragments would ruin the young man's face.

Fortunately he hadn't let his shield down and was able to shift it back into position. The shards of ceramic, upon striking the twirling force field, were repelled upward into the ceiling or straight into the ground at Kenta's feet. Though relatively safe, Kenta hadn't had enough time to get solid footing before the shot, and was more concerned with not dying than he was with grounding himself.

The barrier gave way under the pressure of Tama's Chaos attack, and Kenta was thrown back thirty feet easily. With a rough landing on his upper back and a flip, he crashed flat on his front side, sliding against the floor unkindly. All of that, and still no results to show for his efforts.

Surprisingly it was Kirra who answered the call to come to Tama's rescue. By the time he got to his feet, gunblade still firm in his grip, the knuckles on his right hand scraped raw and bleeding, Kirra had already fired, the blast almost making true its promise to free the still restrained, still struggling Tama.

Rather than take chances, Kenta took the spare moment to summon his second gunblade, aptly named Artemis, twin companion to his Apollo.

The Gatekeeper was nearly gone. He'd fought hard to get in close, which was precisely what the Dark Entity wanted from him. His soul proved to be a delicious treat, just as dark and tainted as the General's. Unfortunately for the puppetmaster this meal too would be postponed. The General's companion closed in deftly with an attack. Concentrating as it was on restraining the black devil, the mist was unable to lash out at her. Evading or blocking weren't options. Fury soaked into the walls of the club as the fires raged harder and Kirra's bullet-like attack pierced the Entity's right arm. Perfectly in sync with this impact was another lightning bolt of energy, slicing into the room like a blade with Kirra's abdomen as its destination. She didn't risk transfixion, but being blasted across the room was a hazard to be wary of.

Shrieking with an otherwordly pain, the phantom claws tore themselves free of Tamashii and back into the Emperor's arm. Having his soul nearly ripped from his body and then thrown unceremoniously back where it belonged would be a dizzying and perhaps nauseating experience for Samayou. Sure to ditch him before he recovered, the Entity simultaneously hovered above the devil and used the black mist to send him sailing across the room like a sack of garbage. Whether into the wall or on his feet, Tama would land roughly until he could shake the cobwebs from his head.

Rising unnaturally to its feet like a vampire from the coffin, the Dark Entity tilted its head to one side with a satisfying pop. A heavy sigh rumbled the building again as the wraith blade was summoned once again, extending some five feet from the end of Taliman's arm. The mist coiled around the Entity, wiping away the Chaotic discharged from its back and whipping it against the walls carelessly. Wesley's skin still sizzled from the burning technique but the monster controlling him failed to acknowledge the damage.

"...is heee.. ssso important to you?" The beast grinned, leering at Kirra as she recovered from its attack. Somehow its gaze seemed to fall upon everyone present. An open question, rhetorical though it likely was. The Dark Entity started out of the lounge, stepping into the main hall. He wasn't visible from this standpoint but it knew the General was in the kitchen. It made no effort to hide its path in that direction, continuing its monologue on the way there. "Do yyyou even know...? The abomination.. you want so much to spare...?"

Sama was fighting for internal life when the dark world flooded with light! Kirra had given him a second chance as whatever essence that spiritually called him home returned to full power. Like a Generator back on line he was at full capacity yet again as his body was sent hurling towards the wall. A table crashed out of his way as his back slammed into the wood which partly gave way to the 349 pound behemoth. Sama slouched for a second as those empty eyes returned too the full pale color they normally glowed. His fist tight as slowly lifted himself out of the small dent that he had forged into the side of the building. Debris rained down around him as his hair draped away from its once neat part, now dangling in his face like a ravaged animal.

Despite the use of Chaos and the physical assault he seemed completely unaffected mentally, the other perk using Chaos. No matter what insanity occurred on the battle field his cold resolve to stay focused was unbreakable, Sama didn't freak out, he didn't wiggle in pain he simply forged ahead like a machine.....a Big Dark Machine. That was the nickname given too him by the Dark Tournament fans, he lived up to it one hundred percent. The game was on pause as the entity spoke but Sama was focused on regaining his composer to care as he breathed in deep. His body was steaming with hot energy use and there was bruises on his back but he showed no sign of acknowledging the pain. The room waning a little as his raw power refilled his heart and blood began to pump again.....

Well that worked better than she had thought it would. Retaliation was expected. That doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt like hell just because the woman knew it was coming. Kirra had drawn herself in close in order to ensure a hit. This also made sure that she'd be hit back.

With only a moment to brace herself, Kirra flew backwards from the bolt, unable to avoid it. She curled her body up for a moment before regaining her balance and flipping herself backwards, her heels digging into the wood floor as she caught herself. Slowly, the Saiya-jin stood, an arm to her stomach only for a bit before she straightened out her red shirt.

She intentionally turned her path to intercept the Entity's path to the kitchen, knowing she had gotten off easy that last time.

"Who cares really? It'd be too boring if he wasn't around. Besides...." She smirked a little, stopping between the kitchen and the oncoming possessed Emperor. The fingers on her right hand clenched into an open position."....I can't have you killing my little toy."

Kirra threw her right arm forwards, unleashing a Tiger Wave upon the approaching enemy, hoping the close quarters would be to her advantage and that someone else would jump in anytime soon.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 20, 2010 7:46 pm

The Devil was already on the move as he straightened up, a small light mark near his chest where the hand had impaled him. He looked hurt but showed no signs of slowing down as the machine of a monster stalked forward to come around the back side of the Entity, ready to pull it back if need be. He would not be allowed to go after Deity again Samayou would stand in its way every time even if he was half dead. Kirra had taken to the fight now but how long she could last was unknown, Sama would have to wait for his timing as he stood some 15 feet behind the entity ready to move.

He had knowledge now and was not even tired, he knew what this thing could do to an extent but it still had no idea how much Sama could take before going down. The game plan was the same, remove the infestation before it could bury its seed deeper in the emperor, but how to do it?

…wait a minute…that just might work.

Somewhat reckless. Suck an attack would devastate a normal structure and bring it down within seconds. The explosive force of the attack moving would be more than enough. A direct hit was overkill. The Entity understood that Club Orion was built to withstand such bombardment. Otherwise it would have instructed Taliman to converse with his brother outside. The General needed to be alive and in his state he would not survive the impact of a tower collapsing on top of him. This wasn't a risk but the Tiger Wave issuing forth from Kirra's hand was still doing a number on the building. Were she using her ascended Super Saiyajin state it might have been a worry.

Furniture, bottles, light fixtures and other such objects not secured in place were flying from their positions as the walls shook under the sheer pressure of the attack. The Dark Entity continued to walk forward, seemingly unaware of the burly black devil some paces behind it. Samayou would know better than to think himself stealthy. The phantom blade rose to one side was the wave screamed in, wooden flooring ripped to shreds in its wake. How would this beast react? Would it evade or block? Perhaps it would deflect the attack to one side. Was it powerful enough to simply tank the Tiger Wave? The Entity dropped into a squat with its feet apart, ready to act only a split second before impact.

With a flash like lightning the Shinorei energy sword seemed to split the room in half. A huge slice was traced from just below the Emperor diagonally across the room and into the ceiling as the Entity slashed upward. The anrgy Tiger Wave was torn in two, separated into a pair of misshapen discombobulated masses unsure of where they were headed. The bar area and a wall near the lounge entrances were the unlucky new targets of Kirra's attack. The earth-rocking explosions served as the Dark Entitys green light as it blasted off like a missile toward the girl.

Debris and fiery smoke filling the room the Entity followed the same path as the Super Saiyajin's attack did, flying in at the little monkey with a clockwise horizontal spin attack from the wraith blade. Following after it was a backward right mule kick moving vertically, a much meatier blow than the one from the sword. The initial strike was only meant to stun her in place for the second; if she jumped or ducked the slice, the kick would still get her airborne for a follow-up.
