Kirra watched as Taliman rather quickly got up from his place at the bar and scurried after Deity. Likely it was because he was trying to catch his brother before the younger ran off, but she was amused just slightly with the fact that it might be because she was so close to him. She watch with a sip from her own glass as the Emperor cornered Tonepian in the elevator and prevented the door from closing.
She tilted her head slightly to her left and back, giving Caine a rather entertained expression. "And why should I? It would do no good, and would just be rude." The woman grinned slightly, taking a bite of her apple, which was little more than core now, and chewing on the fruit thoughtfully.
"Besides, it's a lot more fun this way." Kirra was practically giggling with glee, though being unable to hear what was said was a slight disappointment. Not like she couldn't worm it out of Deity later....or maybe Taliman.

Samayou watched the scene unfold before him, his eyes however gave another impression. Pale orbs danced across the room seemingly staring off into space but his attention was calmly focus don all the events occurring. Pith’s taking her leave quickly, the W brothers conversation by the door and Caine and Jade’s little exchange of words. Jade or whoever she had become for the moment had not yet come to him and talked, nor had anyone else but since Sama was as frequent here as a rampaging herd of bulls he was not surprised. He preferred the silence rather then the noise and in truth only one person here ever bothered him.
None the less he kept his focus on all events, as well as an eye on all possible exits…one never knew.

::Unks watched the room and the goings on around everyone. He took Vertis' hand firmly and gave it a shake. He let it go and smiled at the boy and looked him into the eyes. He got a strange feeling for him as he looked into his eyes.
"It is nice to meet you Vertis, my name is Unks. I am sure my lovely wife here is taking good care of you."
He smiled once more and then looked at the two Wesley Brothers in the elevator talking in soft voices. It must be one hell of a subject for Tali to want to speak with Deity, considering everything that happened. He also saw Caine and Jade talking as well, what the hell is going on here? Is it "siblings who want to rip each others throats out speak on civil terms day"?
Unks looked back to Vertis so not to seem rude for leaving him uninvolved. Unks' eyes drifted down and saw Vertis' tail wrapped around his waist::
"Oh you have a monkey tail, not such a common trait these days. You must have special blood running through your veins."

Caine watched Kirra as she seemed to relish in the conflict between the two brothers. It was like she was thriving off of it, soaking in the negative energy. He had to hold back a bit of a laugh. Complete opposite of Jade, he thought to himself.
"You should come around more often, Kirra."
He smirked slightly to himself, before lifting his glass and finishing off the fiery liquid inside. If he had to chose between the two personalities of his sister, he'd go for Kirra in an instant. She was more of a 'natural' Saiya-jin. Just how much more though, he'd have to wait until some sort of fight broke out.
And with this crowd, he thought as he looked around, it could happen anytime.
He glanced over to the half-breed and the kid talking at the end of the bar. The General scoffed lightly to himself. Not a common trait? Did the boy not realize that there were *four* of them in the main room right now with tails?

Tybron's incredulous attitude didn't leave any marks on Taliman's resolve. This had to happen. His only issue was where and how.
He didn't answer the boy immediately. Swaying back with his hands still in the doorframe, Wesley looked over his shoulder. Kirra at the bar, giggling incessantly as events unfolded. The General, looking somewhat lost but unfettered by the actions of those around him. Taliman hadn't told him what the meaning of any of this was, so that was natural. By the entrance was Cado standing tall and stoic as always. Nearby was Samayou, content with keeping an eye on the situation without offering any input or proving to be useful in any way.
At the other side of the room was the would-be inventor, spending quality time with the other oxygen theif he assumed was his spawn. Not shining examples of their race he thought with a snort, bringing his attention back to the matter at hand and his singular gaze back into the elevator. Tybron wasn't being bought in easily.
"I would much rather we do this privately," he said finally, breathing heavily through his nose. Having to stand whispering in the middle of an occupied room was no place for this to happen. "I mean you no harm.. you have my word."

Content in his relaxed mood Sama took the time to look at Cado. His eyes did not show it for he did not have pupils but he did in fact look him up and down. The life of a soldier was so...foreign to him now. It was weird seeing someone so rigid like that it almost made him feel uncomfortable....almost. The Devil decided it was time to do something to keep his mind occupied, hard to do, none the less he gave it an attempt. He moved towards the bar and his hand easily found its way as he leaned over the wood. Grasping firmly to what should be the vodka and pulling the bottle out form behind the counter. Vodka was always his favorite it felt like a cleansing when he drank it, letting it purify his inner systems.
With in seconds he had removed the cap and was taking a nice swig of the liquid, letting it run down his throat as he returned to monkey watching. Little occurred here that involved him and as it was his job and life he always felt content to remain on the sidelines and watch. He had lived enough for more then a dozen life times, the heat of battle and passion of love…for now…he just wanted to watch.

::Swaying silently between caution and irritation, the tall Orinian in the elevator wasn't sold. If it wasn't for Taliman's great history of self-service and dishonesty, Deity would have liked to test his sincerity. I'd like to give that a try anyway, he thought, despite his lacking in any real means. The fact however was that whatever truth he hoped to squeeze free of the little demon would be incomplete and likely misleading. Whatever this discussion entailed, it was nothing the boy had any interests in. He wouldn't be used, Taliman's word or not. Deity held his ground, his fingers sliding sternly into the pockets of his pants as he indirectly told the elder son to back off.::

The Emperor was growing frustrated with being continuously shot down. He slammed his palm into the opened door in a short-lived physical show of his impatience, his voice loud and forceful.
"This isn't..." he immediately cut himself, claws trying in vain to tear into the steel of the elevator doorway. If his reign held any sway here he'd just order his brother to obey and that'd be the end of it. In his world, disobeying the Emperor meant prosecution or at worst execution. Here, he thought, it's just death. Ruler or not, Taliman had nothing to fear from anyone on planet Earth, nor any qualms about throwing his power around. With Cado and Shinorei at his side, he had nothing to fear at all. Tybron would obey whether he liked it or not.
That said. Wesley was here to be civil, not start a fight. For once, he was trying to set himself aside and help someone else, and it wasn't working out for him so far. Collecting his emotions, Wesley recognized the anger in his voice and quickly snuffed it out, continuing after a short breath.
"This isn't.. a scheme. This isn't about me. It's about you. About Earth." He let the doorframe go, opening his hand out before his brother in time with his words,"Please just listen to what I have to say."

The moment the palm hit the door Sama’s grip on the bottle of Vodka tightened. His first instinct would have been to go straight for Taliman but what good would it do? Cado would A be right behind Sama or B Deity would tell him to stand down. All in all it was not his place to stand between brothers, he had made that clear the first time around. Instead he watched form a distance his pale eyes focusing on the Wesley brothers like a pair of binoculars. Deity was annoyed and frustrated but not as much as Taliman was, the young king was upset yes but deep down his aura spelled out more then he was saying. The lad was actually trying to help as his words suggested, at the same time it appeared that Deity didn’t want it but who knew which way this game would sway.
For now Sama drank his Vodka, cleansing his system of his latest meal of bone and flesh. For now he would keep tabs on Tali and gladly throw his body into the fray to protect young Deity, he prayed to the Gods he wouldn’t have to come to that.
His mood shifted like the sea and so did his desires for company. His eyes locked on the brothers but his ears honed in for a heart beat, the specific rhythm of Unk’s to be exact. Where was that little purple headed weirdo.
{{I bored where unks.}}

The Fierce Deity Vice Captain

::The sudden outburst - both physical and verbal - caught Deity by surprise. He'd be the first to admit he was frightened but he wouldn't have had to, his body instinctively ricocheting off of his brother's words with a start. Plastering himself to the wall with an audible bang, the quiet Tonepian pulled his arms in as if ready to receive some manner of ill-deserved violence. At his current state, engaging in a battle was probably the worst possible course of action - he'd be wrecked without much of a fight. The two brothers proved before that Taliman was a far stronger fighter already - as things stood now, all Deity could do was cower and hope for the best.
But no strike came. In fact, Tali immediately cooled himself, sheathed his anger and continued with a noticable attempt to calm himself. What little patience he hed to his name was working overtime to keep things from overheating. It was the "please" that caught the boy's attention above all. He froze in mid-panic, only watching his brother for the moment, without response, still curled against the elevator wall. He could be telling the truth, Deity thought. If Taliman wanted something, he took it. If it was denied, he took it by force. If whatever he needed from Deity was purely for his own benefit, he'd have found some devious and possibly violent way to force it out of the younger brother. The notion that he would ask - and say "please" - never would have crossed anyone's mind.
Easing up, he lost a bit of his tension, gravitating gently toward the Orinian monarch again. Though he'd be a fool outright to drop his guard, he didn't see any harm is hearing Taliman out. Worst case scenario was he spouted nonsense that was just as harmlessly easily forgotten. The boy relaxed more, nodding subtly outward with a similar gesture from his hand guiding Tali the rest of the way out of the elevator.::
....fine. We can talk in the lounge...

The effort to hasten the cooldown on his own temper had been fruitful. Tybron finally had relaxed, finally had calmed himself enough to hear what it was Taliman had to tell him. The alternative was to restrain him and force the information down his throat, so to speak. He'd do whatever it took. Everything short of preventing him from fulfilling the destiny Taliman had set for him, was fair game. This wasn't about the Emperor. Not his power, not even his life. It was the greater good. It was more important than the differences between the two siblings. If Tybron was convinced Taliman had no intention to kill him it would undoubtedly make things easier, but it was a distant second in priority to completing the mission he was about to be given.
Wesley stepped out of the elevator keeping one of his dark-toned hands against the door. The younger brother had agreed to discuss the unknown matter that the Emperor urged to be so important, yet it wasn't out of his character to simply bolt the moment he was out of Tali's sight. The demon monarch did his best to illustrate some form of trust in not physically guiding his brother out, but turning his back was something he knew better than to do. His neck jerked in a sudden nod, directing the boy out of the elevator tower.
"After you," he said sternly, giving Tybron ample room to leave. Still quiet in the distance, Cado stood guard at the entrance. Like a statue he barely moved. Any movements were brief, infrequent, dry eyes scanning the room. No irregularities that he could detect. His orders were only to stand guard. Taliman knew the possibility of a fight breaking out. Just as during the duel, Cado was easily capable of defending the Emperor and preventing interference. Fortunately it appeared his services wouldn't be needed this night.

".....the hell?"
The disappointment was obvious on Kirra's face and in her voice. The mostly eaten apple in her hand was forgotten for a moment as she she watched the Wesley brothers act like they were escorting each other to a dance. With a quick tip back, the woman finished her glass of whiskey and put the empty vessel back onto the counter top rather heavily. Here she had been expecting some sort of round two fight between them. And instead it looked like they were nervous about dropping a wedding proposal.
"Well...this is a total let down...." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched them, silently hoping that whatever they were doing would be done quickly, so that she could get back to flirting once Deity ran away to the bedroom again.
