{{I'm not but this is not going how I imagined but whatever does right? I was going to move on from here but you keep putting me in awkward positions. XD If we are that close to the end then I’ll say whatever to my plans.}}

Missed as his large boot smashed into dust!

Samayou was gone, vanishing by sheer land speed alone to avoid the big brute. His senses picking up on the fast moving target as he tried to get the drop on him. In the cloud of dust that Cado’s attack created the two clones vanished into thin air, dissolving into ash as the black devil vanished from sight. No counter attack of any kind was performed and as far as Cado could sense the Devil had simply…vanished. By infusing his CE back to its natural state he lost the ability to fly and such but regained his entire physical prowess meaning the big bad Cado had no chance in hell of keeping up with the smaller and faster Sama when he was on the ground. It also explained why even after taking such punishment the worse Sama had suffered was some bruises and a possible cracked ribbed. For what energy Cado displayed out of his body Saba had fused into his physical structure making him what he was, durable. It took much more then a punishment like that to keep a devil down but for now dragging it out with Cado was not his goal, he had other plans and so Sama left Cado in the dust to play with the dirt and moved on.

But where…that was his little secret.

{{I’m done move on with the plot I guess.}}

As Cado landed, all three incarnations of him quickly looked around. The stranger had retreated and taken his clones with him. The big man's two duplicates quickly faded with a golden "poof" of ki and he stood to his full 8+ foot height. He again assessed the scenario around him. Sir Aaron and KenoTao were incapacitated, if only temporarily. The effects of his paralysis would only last another minute or so. Thanks to a shattered spine, Jade was immobilized as well. No other entities resided within the boundaries dictated by his master.

The big Saiyajin's hair fell around his face and returned to the midnight hue it was known for. Dark strands flowing stiffly around his thick neck, Cado returned to his base form and turned to start a rhythmic pace back toward his post. He'd done his duty.

Taliman Wesley
Impossible. As his brother's legs began to push him free of his would-be grave, the Emperor above staggered in a sense of amazement. The intent behind his attack, to end this farce, failed him. Tybron was both still alive and kicking. Sort of. The intention was to immobilize him. He was struggling yes, barely alive, but still as willful as ever. All who watched knew he wouldn't stay down. He refused to stay down!

"Wh-what th...??" he muttered in a huff, returning to the battered floor a few yards behind his downed enemy. "You should be dead...how can you still move??"

Wesley was at a loss. He himself was nearly spent of energy. Far more wounded, far less capable of battle, Tybron refused to give in. His pain would be ended immediately if he would only submit to Wesley's victory. Was he trying to test his brother's resolve? He was absurd if he thought that the Emperor didn't have it in him to kill his own blood. Especially when it was as justified as this was. A flurried mix of disbelief, anger and desperation swirled itself inside as Taliman addressed his brother again.

"You can't even stand, Tybron.. why don't you simply give up? Enough of this.. just stay down!"
::Slowly, painfully, but surely, the wounded Orinian dragged himself from the dusty pit, now moving a short ways across the earth. He could still hear Taliman but couldn't see him. He must be behind me, the boy figured, in truth not at all interested in what his brother was up to anymore. Things were getting pretty foggy right now - he was nearly convinced that if he was hit again he wouldn't even feel it. No, in fact the physical pain - even that from his ruined hands and fingers - was still riding shotgun to his emotional anguish. He was with any luck on his way to bring an end to that piercing feeling - a suffering that had been boiling down within him for a little while now - as he forced himself slowly from the ground one more time.

I never did tell her goodbye, did I? The thought finally occured as a palpable realization, and it brought - without any resistance - tears to his eyes. His death - perhaps inevitable - wasn't so frightening as it was disheartening. Deity had been so sure of himself going into the duel that he insisted on not telling Jade goodbye - he insisted that she herself keep her goodbyes on hold. That they'd have the rest of their lives together, to talk about this. They'd look back and laugh about it together. This isn't very funny, the boy commented regrettfully then, finally up on both knees.::

The Emperor's pride wanted nothing more than the satisfaction of an acknowledged victory. Everyone already knew he was more powerful, by far. Those who had any hope for Tybron's victory were only deluding themselves. While some if not most couldn't have imagined the scope of Taliman's powers, deep down they must have realized he would be the winner. He was the ruler of the universe. How could he not? Whether they admitted it or not he didn't give a damn. The sole opinion that mattered was his brother's.

This was Taliman's third victory, but he yearned for that acceptance. He needed it. He was better! That traitorous human scum didn't deserve any admiration! Not for his deceit, not for the eternally stained blood on his hands, not for his misplaced love of the human inferiority, and not for his selfish refusal to lose! "What's possessed you to be so stubborn??" he shouted angrily, uneasily. "There's no reason to fight it anymore! You've lost!! It's over!!"

It was Tybron that betrayed him without a care for his feelings, that discarded him like trash when confronted about it. It was Tybron that robbed him of his revenge twice now! He owed it to Taliman to grant him this last, righteous triumph. Did he truly intended to rob him of glory this third, final time??

::The emperor's harrassment fell on deaf ears. Deity started to speak, likely a muttered curse toward his brother, but found his voice was silent for some reason. Oh well, he hadn't had much to say thus far in the first place. He sniffled sharply, unsure of whether it was tears or blood that was dripping into his nostrils...he quickly dismissed it as gross and opted not to think of it at all. Heaving bloody, labored breaths, the tired boy remained where he was a few moments longer before hissing up a quick intake of air and lifting himself from two knees to one, holding his broken left arm against himself with his opposite forearm.

Deity looked around finally lifting his head to take in the surrounding area. The night had swallowed everything up and made it harder to see much at all - he normally needed glasses anyway, but in his current state all he saw was a vague blur. But he looked anyway, through the one eye not showered in blood. He has looking for Jade - was she still in conflict against that beast of a man? She's probably too far away, he thought, she wouldn't hear me even if I could say anything. Still he glanced around, hoping perhaps through some miracle that she would make it to him and that he could still tell her. There was no time for goodbyes, but there was time enough for an apology. This entire affair was his fault, he had put her through all of this - Jade deserved an apology now, before it was too late for Deity to give her one.

The fuzziness of his vision cleared up just the tiniest bit, focusing on a tiny shape in the distance. Deity squinted, looked harder. It might be his friends, it might be Jade. Might be Cado. Egh. He wasn't sure how long he had before Taliman had fumed enough and attacked him again, but it didn't matter. He only needed a few seconds, and if he kept moving toward the activity up ahead, he would eventually get them.

So with one final effort, a groan through bloodied, closed lips, Deity pushed from his knee and at last stepped up to his feet.::

"You won't win, brother!!!" he shouted, finally touching down on the ground again. He let off a wince as his left foot dragged briefly against the dirt, his broken knee throbbing angrily. A quick shift of his balance to the other leg and he stumbled after Tybron as the boy pulled one leg up, his blue eye wide with unbridled veneration at the fortitude of his enemy. This doesn't...just....he's supposed to stay down.... He hadn't imagined it would take this much. All of this, just to deny him a true, just victory? Taliman couldn't understand it. It made no sense, none of it did! Why would a self-appointed hero voluntarily subject themselves to such agony just to deny due justice??

Tybron began to push harder now. He was rising. How??? Wesley limped weakly after him, his dried lips hardly able to voice his thoughts fast enough. "Dammit, sta-- No!! NO!! Stop it!!"

Now he was moving away? Was he trying to escape? The nerve! Had Tybron accepted his loss and decided to just leave without even a thought toward the consequences? Without the voice of acknowledgement he owed the victor? Ambiguity spun itself into the dizzying emotional mix already wreaking havoc in Taliman's head. I didn't plan for this, he thought anxiously. This wasn't meant to happen, I don't understand this..!! Everything that was happening led him, his instincts, down the wrong path. The path he felt was destined not to be traveled. But for that moment, for the briefest instant, Taliman lost his reason. His grip on what was happening was loosened for a heartbeat. What he knew, what he had already seen, no longer held any water. Fate left him then to his own devices, to put this mess back together.

"I said no!!!!" Taliman screamed, just as Tybron fully stood, punching forth his right arm. His finger pointed, and a lightning-like crack echoed into the new valley of craters around him. A huge light flash snapped, illuminated the darkness for that breath in time, and was gone as soon as it happened. As the light faded, so did the the Emperor's expression as he froze in place.

::With a sudden, silent shudder, Deity sank right back to his knees, a subtly passing breeze blowing away the little puff of sand rising from his legs as he fell. With his first step, his legs had given out, his bruised knees anchoring him again to the battered desert floor. But it hadn't hurt, whatever it was. There was only a flash of light, which he now watched race brilliant away from him, fading rapidly into the night. That was....cold, he thought. Did Tali hit me again? The chill spread fiercely through his ailing system, as if his blood had run cold. It was slow at first, but as it sped up the numbing feeling overcame him - his eyes widened at last, unhindered by pain yet still focused on the foggy shape up ahead of him.

In the midst of the cold, a beacon of warmth emanated from his very core. The unseemly chilly feeling was held back in his chest by a cleansing heat - his right hand gravitated toward it, letting the warmth wash over his nearly destroyed fingers, bringing him a profound sense of comfort. Looking down, his hand rose so he could see the pleasant warmth, so thick and red that it seemed almost black in the darkness. For an eternity it felt like, he looked at his hand, muscle tissue charred and torn and masked by his dark, hot....blood, he thought. I'm bleeding again. The strength in his arm left him just as his legs had failed him, falling to his side as he looked down to inspect the wound. The left side of his chest had been blown out. He could see part of one of his ribs protruding, drenched in the blood that was flowing from his beaten body.

More and more quickly he lost the last of his energy, unable to stay up on his knees. The boy fell back and sat upon his heels, the shudder bringing a wince of surprise to his tear-soaked cheeks. I'm sorry, he thought suddenly. He didn't have quite so much time as he'd hoped Taliman would've given him, a maddening weight of regret falling heavily upon the heart that now lay shattered inside his hollow chest. Forgive me - I'm sorry! These thoughts echoed off the walls of his mind, Deity somehow hoping that if he repeated them, Jade would hear him.

As he'd imagined earlier, it didn't hurt - his body felt no pain. But now it didn't matter anymore. I never told her. He repeated that thought to himself, wishfully imagining that if he lingered there, he would have his moment to make up for it. He was so sure that he'd prevail. The boy looked around shakily for her, but saw only darkness. It wasn't merely the night - his eyes were failing him now.

Deity slumped over after only a couple seconds, the motion of turning his head enough to sway his fragile balance. His shoulder hit first, then he rolled back a bit as his head rested against the unforgiving ground. The blood from his chest and back seeped endlessly through tiny cracks in the rock under him - his bruised red eyes, they just stared up into the sky - it was still dark and horrible. As it faded entirely, it gave way only to a scene darker still - blackness pervaded his vision and tightened it nearly to the point of discomfort.

His ki faded, skin ran cold. For just a moment, the downed Orinian hovered in a senseless, colorless expanse, unsure of what was and what wasn't. There was only a faint, uncanny notion that he wasn't intended to remain here - he would wake up from this eerie silence any second now. Deity's lips parted ever so gently as his last breath made its exit, rather symbolic of what he was oblivious to at the moment. Weightless yet unable to rise, he let the last of his thoughts drift quietly into the emptiness...::

The Emperor stared at the still body of his brother now, his finger shaking in the air. His teeth chattered together as the chilly night air grasped at his bare skin at last. His arm hanged where it was for several seconds before he finally lowered it upon the realization that it was over. What was done was done. He swallowed deeply as he limped his way over. He didn't feel any ki. His aim had been true; the heart was gone, courtesy of the Death Beam. The closer he got, the more he recognized the scent of death. I hadn't seen this... His thoughts were still uneasy, as was his demeanor.

Finally he stood over the body looking down at the battered face of Tybron, looking distantly up at the night sky. This fight had been over for several minutes, that wasn't what had ended just now. This had ended. The fabled Wesley sibling rivalry was over. He was dead. Taliman had killed his brother. The only question was, had he foreseen incorrectly? Premonitions could often be tainted by the "what ifs" and the "might bes." Tybron himself started this fight. Was that why he now lay dead in the middle of the desert, when Taliman had seen no evidence of this fate? All along, it wasn't...I was meant to destroy him...

The thought faded into nothing as he dismissed it. What happened happened because it was supposed to happen that way. Destiny, he realized, wasn't immutable. Whatever future Taliman had seen wasn't to be. The brat that had traveled so far to warn her self-appointed brother, it was her premonition that rang true. For here the former demon general was, beaten to death by his weakness and his own hardheaded conviction.

:: The silence in her mind was like none she had ever felt before. Kaen was always connected to the world, the sentience teasing at the edges of consciousness, guiding her intuition. But in that moment, when the last breath left her brother's battered body, when her hope dissolved like dust in the wind, there was nothing.

Kaen felt numb.

She couldn't see; just a blurry, wobbling heat, and then the wet paths down her cheeks, carving into the sand that had lain over her skin like a thin mask. She felt her head shake, but she hadn't moved; she felt her knees hit the ground, but she hadn't really collapsed. She heard herself cry out, but it wasn't her voice, because it couldn't be, because her brother wasn't dead. ::

"Iya da, dareka... Niichan... Somebody... please, no...Niichan..."

:: There was no breath. No movement. No ki. No sentience.

He was gone.

Just as she had foreseen, like every prediction she had ever made that had inevitably come to pass, Deity was dead. ::

In the time that Tamashii had been fighting with Cado, Jade had kept her face buried in the crook of her left arm. She didn't want to watch anymore, didn't want to know what was going to happen. It was as if not watching it would make it not true. But true they were.

A loud, angry shout reached her ears, and she automatically lifted her head to see what it was about. As much as she tried to deny herself, Jade couldn't hold her curiosity, and fear down. There was a bright flash of light that illuminated the battlefield. For a brief moment, the brothers were lit up. Though it was over in a second, the image remained painfully clear in her eyes against the dark night. The girl swore it had been Deity, but he hadn't looked....quite right.

She pushed herself up more in an attempt to see, but the surge of agony in her back threatened to black her out. A gentle breeze fluttered some of her bangs. It also brought the heavy scent of blood. Deity's blood. The movement of dark on darker sent a chill down her spine. "Deity? DEITY?!"

Her voice echoed out in a panic, dragging herself forward only about a foot with her arms before her broken spine forced her to stop. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she realized that she might be able to save him, but couldn't reach him. She couldn't even say goodbye.
