Deep in the imprisonment of the Abyss Samayou watched with heart wrenched eyes, not once removing them from Jade. He trusted both in Sir Aaron and Kenotao as well as there combat prowess but to stand by and watch a fight he could not aid in eked at him like tiny fire ants on his skin. He had his role his deep occult position in this equation but he so much to be on the sandy battlefield demonstrating his muscle to his friends. Showing him how much he was worth in combat but he had another skill a much more valuable skill then melee. He had the knowledge and Laws of Death in his mind and the resources to bring back those who crossed over in violent deaths. He could stop the souls of his friends from being lost in the Blackness.

Even then however it was a gamble but the best chance they had of living again if they died today. Kenotao and Aaron could handle Cado and Jade would save her loved one but if not they all had a friend deep in the bowels of the darkness watching over them. If he could break his seal and cross over to aid them now he would but if things looked too grim he would have to remain here in the shadows and let them die…only then could his foul hands save them.

::A salvo of burning missiles cascading up toward him, Sir Aaron screeched to a halt, compromising the speed of his arrival on the scene in favor of avoiding any damage. Though strong and durable, Aaron wasn't a walking fortress - he could be hurt when his defenses were down, and something - be it Cado's size, his immense power or his blank, uncaring demeanor - told him that the emperor's bodyguard wasn't a warrior that one should've made the mistake of underestimating.

Digging one foot sideways into the ground, the Knight covered up with his arms and dropped to one knee, ducking his head. Three of the beams smashed right into him - four others grazed against his sides as they passed. They all hurt, which showed as fresh scrapes and bruises appeared on his arms and through the tears in his weathered clothes. Where did he find such an animal, Aaron exclaimed in silent question, green eyes lifting to catch sight of the beastly Saiya-jin as the tiger's attack roared in. The injuries were surprising if not fleeting.

That mystery can wait, he decided then, rising to his oversized height and breaking again into a sprint, power rising gradually to prepare an attack. He was only a second away, and just needed Cado to hold still a moment longer.::

High above him the genetically altered man was firing an attack to counter Cado's. Unchanging, his focused glare rose and targeted KenoTao. With remarkable speed he was gone, having leapt over the Tiger Wave and flown up after it's creator. He was nearly upon his prey when Jade took off. Seeming to be in constant awareness of everything around him, the massive Cado immediately postponed his attack and was out of KenoTao's face. His priority had quickly dropped.

In the same way that he had dodged Keno's attack, the mighty guard appeared in the little woman's path through raw, teleportation-like speed. He forced his left knee out in a kick for her abdomen. He didn't move toward her but instead appeared closely enough that her own speed would thrust her into the blow before she had much of a chance to notice she was in danger. Once he had her bent over his leg, the big man grasped a handful of her golden locks in his paw and harshly threw her head back. Up and down went his right elbow, the point of it blasting into her forehead with a fantastic spark of energy from his overflowing aura. The release of her hair coincided with the elbow smash, allowing the blow to send her back to the ground and out of his master's business.

"Why..? Why?? What is this for??" The demon king seemed desperate for an answer now. In all this time Tybron hadn't said a damn word. Totally silent. All he'd done was stand, be broken further, then rise again as if wanting more. He wasn't a zombie, this had to be hurting. Why would any sane man put himself through such torture with no apparent benefit to him. "Pride?" the Emperor concluded,"You want to see how much you can take? Why get up?!"

Without any regard to what Wesley was saying, again Tybron stood. A flurry of emotions was twisting up his thought process now.

Is he ignoring me? Is this another trick? Does he have something to prove? Why the ******** won't he respond?? Or bloody hell, why won't he just stay down? There's no sensible reason to put himself through this!

Taliman shouted sharply,"Stop it!!!"

He screamed across the desert floor in flight, running through Tybron like a poorly-aimed cannonball. Arms forward, his fists, elbows, shoulder and crown all crashed into his brother at once, heavily reminiscent of a violent highway collision. It was an impressive force for how tired he was, a manifestation of his twisted inner storm of confusion. He couldn't grasp why someone as demure as Tybron would refuse to go down. There was no perceivably obvious gain to such torture. The less he understood his brother, the harder he wanted to force him to the ground. The more he wanted to hurt him. There had to be a cap to how much he could take. He had to cave eventually. He had to. Who would let themselves be beaten to death??

"Stop this nonsense!!" he shouted again, regaining his bearings,"Dammit, I've beaten you!!! Accept it!!"

The Fierce Deity
Vice Captain

PostPosted: Tue Nov 10, 2009 11:26 pm

::Having just returned to his stance, Deity was already met with another assault. He turned away instinctively, his left arm rising into a meager defensive posture. Given how crude the emperor's attack was, it might as well have not noticed the arm - the boy's entire upper body and even his face was thrashed by the impact. The failed defensive gesture suffered an ugly snap, the chilling sound loud and obvious as Tali's attack smashed through the bone and into the boy's chest. It elicited - finally - something vocal from the Tonepian, though it wasn't the "You win" that Tali was aiming for. It was a shrill cry, Deity's painful scream stunted as the back of his head hit the ground.

He flew backward, bounced off the rocks and rolled awkwardly about as his body worked off the momentum from the attack. He tumbled up one side of a crater wall before he finally stopped, and was at a saddening loss as his reflexive responses to such an injury failed him. He wanted to grasp the broken limb-- with his broken wrist. Whichever way he moved, more agony. Worse was a horribly deep cut on his face, likely from Tali's head - it'd ripped his cheek up something awful, to the point that he felt if it touched it he might just tear it further. His cry a second prior hadn't helped in the least. He growled out through gritted teeth as he threw his head back and squeezed his red eyes shut, finding it impossible to ignore his growing collection of injuries.

He stayed this way for a few seconds, lying halfway across the ridge of the hole, before starting to push himself into a seated position with his unbroken elbow. Wanting to rest his left arm in his lap, he felt it'd be easier sitting up than lying prone.::
PostPosted: Tue Nov 10, 2009 11:30 pm

By all of the Orinian ruler's definitions, this was insanity. A newly snapped limb, and he somehow managed to right himself even more quickly. Tali seemed to bring out the worst in Tybron but this was beyond even that. Having his life slowly beaten out of him wouldn't prove him stronger in any sense, it'd just prove him stubborn.

"Stay down!!!"

The Emperor screamed at his brother across the battlefield, thrusting forth his arms. His wrists clapped together as he fired a focused kiai into his enemy's face. The invisible force was aimed at an angle to set Tybron up in the air, for a follow-up. Leaving the boy to tumble in the air for just a heartbeat Taliman zipped into position with superspeed, skidding across the rocky floor underneath his enemy. With an angry growl he erupted upward in a jump, turning as he flew and spearing a powerful right kick into his target's abs.

As the broken, lanky man curled over the Emperor's foot, Tali pulled himself free and flew up and over the boy. He hovered there, raised his arm, focused his power into his elbow. His vision tunneled onto his target. His brother's spine. Like a bolt of lightning the blow connected, all of his power motivated into his momentum. In a flash it was done, all of that force emptied into Tybron's wounded structure and hammering him down into the ruined planet below.

The crash wouldn't be anywhere near as frightening as those from the start of the battle. Reflective of what little remained of Tali's power. But the precision of the blow would prove far more deadly.

It seemed that Cado didn't fit the analogy of a brick wall entirely. He obviously was not as 'dumb as a brick', considering his switch of target from Keno to herself. However, it certainly felt like she was hitting a brick wall.

Jade went from having a clear view of the two brothers in the distance, to a mass wall of muscle blocking her vision. In the moment that she realized Cado was right in front of her was the same moment she flew right into his outstretched knee. The air was forced from her lungs in a gasp due to her own speed of flight. But before she had a chance to recover any, her hair was tugged sharply by the roots and her head automatically followed. Her eyes were open enough to catch sight of an elbow coming down before colored bursts filled her sight.

Her head was spinning from the blow, and only after she bounced once off of the ground did she realize she had been falling. She landed on her stomach the second time and rolled a few times, which did nothing to aid her spinning head. The girl finished face down in the dirt and remained still for a few moments before forcing herself up enough to breath air and not dust.

Upon opening her eyes, everything was doubled, even tripled. Shaking her head to clear it only made it worse, and the feeling of something trickling down from her forehead and following along the left side of her nose stayed a curious hand. Whether it wad from the elbow or her face meeting the ground, she wasn't sure nor cared. Either way it was there.

Still managing to maintain her ascended state, Jade closed her left eye as blood trickled into it. It also seemed to help with stabilizing her vision a touch. Distant screaming drew her attention, but she was still reeling too much to hear them clearly. Something about them though told her time was running out.

In a desperate gambit, the woman pushed herself up to her feet again and took off once more, flying low over the ground. She knew there was likely only more pain to come from it, but standing idly by while her lover was killed was not something she could do.

{{My actions do not directly effect anyone IC yet but I think I am after Kenotao is where I slipped into this so I will remain to post after him.}}

Samayou watched the onslaught both from the Emperor and from Cado, both where seemingly bullies to him at this point. There was no way Jade could stand up to the muscle head and Aaron was moving to slow for Sama’s wish but he could not involve himself unless all hope was lost. Fierce was rather impressive though and his courage was above any logic of anyone there, in a way only Samayou felt like he could connect with what Fierce was doing.

He was facing his ultimate fear, his biggest challenge and in the face of defeat he refused to back down. That is how Samayou saw it and be right or dead wrong he supported Fierce 100%. The Occult Devil waited idly by from his plane of Death and Darkness, waiting by the gate of Crossing for the Soul of Fierce to show up, then he could guide him but till then….Fierce was on his own.

::Though nearly as tall as the Knight himself, this Cado character certainly was quick on his feet. In the blink of an eye he'd switched opponents and taken his second choice down. Within meters of his own wouldbe opponent, Sir Aaron found himself dashing toward an empty space now. Nothing new for him, usually the slowest of whatever party he was apart of at the time. Keno's attack blasted safely into the ground up ahead; it was aimed for the face, so - given Cado's height - simply dropping into a crouch protected Aaron from an accidental interception of the Tiger Wave.

Nearly as soon as he'd stopped, Jade crashed down into the earth nearby - with only a brief pause to eye her condition, the elder demon's eyes raced up to see Cado, fresh off his attack. He wasn't holding back much, was he? The Knight rose and kept his focus on the stocky warrior above - he knew Jade would rush off as soon as she was able, so all she needed was cover. Reaching Cado now, however, would be more difficult. The jump was well within range, but it would be a plainly obvious approach - he'd need to boost his velocity to catch the big man off guard. Rattled by the reality of the situation, Deity's horrible scream behind the bodyguard shook Aaron's nerves. He couldn't sit here and think of a plan, he had to act!

Assisting his legs with his own psychokinetic powers, the ancient demon hurled himself from the ground toward Cado with a satisfying increase speed, making his move shortly before the Saiya-jin girl nearby pulled her second attempt. His massive arms opened wide as he dove shoulder-first into the sky like a ten foot bullet, his intent to tackle Cado into a huge bearhug and hold him down. He amplified his defenses as he leapt, which would luckily loosen the effects of any counterattack that might deter him or slow him down. Even more, his speed was enough that a dodge was unlikely, which would prove - if nothing else - enough for Jade to save his son.::

The big man didn't appear to have any thoughts or opinion whatsoever of the current scenario. He was a truly devoted servant to follow orders so unquestionably. After his intervention of the fellow monkey's failed rescue attempt he just hovered in the air awaiting the next one. Whether it was her or the inhuman one below or th--

Huge person. Cado's attention visibly snapped in Aaron's direction just as the weighty wolf demon barreled toward him. His capabilities were limited but his power though calm was enormous. It was instantly realized that contact with this creature wasn't an option as it would jeopardize his master's personal arrangement with his brother. Cado assessed that he couldn't engage this man at risk of failing. Acting quickly, learned movements guided Cado's fingers into the pouch strapped around his right leg. He retrieved from it a pair of small cylinder-shaped capsules roughly the size of soda cans.

He tossed one into his left hand. Both hands twisted the upper half of either capsule, causing them both to whizz audibly. Two cross-armed deft swings underhanded the grenades at his two moving targets: Aaron and Jade, with the latter leading it's destination. Upon physical contact the grenades would detonate, releasing blasts of energy that shone brightly over a radius of twelve meters. Moving or not anything caught within the blast range would suffer temporary full-body paralysis similar to that in KenoTao's right arm. Very brief convulsions would give way to an inability to properly motivate the bodily extremities.

If stricken Jade would simply trip and tumble to the ground. Unfortunately Cado would still be hit by Aaron as he crashed against him, but the assault would end there with the old demon falling haplessly out of the sky. Either way the big Saiyajin had reduced his enemies' number from three to one.

Almost.

Keno had been caught off guard when Cado rushed right into his face, but he hadn't let the shock overcome him. Therefore, even though he couldn't stop Cado from taking Jade down, he wasn't so stunned as to not act at all.

A huge spike in energy from Keno foretold something potentially hazardous and destructive. Initially, one might count one large lump sum of ki, but how many there were was difficult to assess immediately.

Unsure of what Cado had planned for Aaron and Jade, Keno took the most ridiculous gamble he could for both their sakes. Hoping they weren't too late, two Keno's descended upon the large Saiya-jin via Shunkido, both glowing with their signature orange aura of ki. Rather than trying to harm Cado, both had relocated twenty meters above and began a rapid, forced, free fall, using the Tiger Strike technique to accelerate themselves. They were only about ten feet away when they shifted out of Shunkido, one Keno's left hand aiming for whatever was in Cado's left hand and the other Keno reaching for the right.

The intent was obvious; rather than risk Cado having telekinesis and projecting the objects toward Aaron and Jade, Keno would simply take them. He had no idea what they were or how they were activated, but if he could, once he had them, he would take off - away from Aaron, and away from Jade, both who simply needed an opening to attack or take off.

Samayou watched from his perch with a gleam in his eyes, he would have done the same exact thing.

"Kenotao you reckless son a b***h....smart move."

Samayou also knew things were getting dangerous and if he needed too he would need to slip from here to there immediately. He could not cross in this state and so he would shift the realms slightly for his own need by crossing his meta body to the other side.

In the earth realm the others would feel a slight spike in very enigmatic energy signal, it was void of both life and power it felt the opposite to them, not a surge of energy but a massive drain of energy. Not heat but cold almost would be a good comparison as what looked like a hazy image of Samayou simply standing appeared about 100 feet above Cado. It was hazy and dark but his link had been established and if need be the crossing would bring him immediately from a timeless world to one with time meaning he would be there instantaneously. This motion made his presence now known in that he was somewhere watching but it also gave him a much faster means of travel rather then the standard Plane Walking.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:50 pm

KenoTao's emergency measure was, sadly, counterproductive to his goal. He aimed to snatch Cado's paralysis grenades and thus buy Jade and Aaron more time. But the clones went for them after Cado had charged them. Once they left his insulated gloves, any pressure would set them off.

Again proving the merit of his inhumanly accute cognizance, the big Saiyajin charged the two grenades but froze, quickly taking note of the two entities behind him. KenoTao had left range when Jade was thrown into him like a hammer, so he was effectively ignored beyond that point. His disappearance went unnoticed. Cado had no need to discern if one of his back-attackers was KenoTao or not; they were both within the perimeter established by his master and thus they were a threat. Thankfully their current course carried them to swift subjugation.

Instead of following through with his throw, with the looming wolf demon Aaron closing in quickly Cado only released the grenades from a standstill. His original action would have Aaron still out of range when the flashes went off so there was no need to defend. But with his attackers swooping in from behind they would inevitably set them off early, justifying a moderate energy expenditure to avoid doing himself in as well.

The Knight would fly into range as the two nades went off, the blasts taking out all three parties simultaneously. But what of Cado? He couldn't just be immune to something that would immobilize another being of the same make-up. This is where the energy expenditure came in. The Saiyajin bodyguard used the Emperor's Shunkido teleportation technique to escape. Unlike the three masters of the move (Tybron, Taliman, KenoTao) Cado was unable to free roam via Shunkido. He had to transport himself directly to an energy source.

In this case that was the Saiyajin woman Jade. Again she found herself facing an eight foot wall of man, his left side forward in preparation for an attack. Unlike last time he didn't simply allow her momentum to carry the blow. He threw his right side out and like a jack-in-the-box held sideways his right foot exploded into her face just as she sped into range. The flat of his shoe rose upward slightly which would cause her head to rock back as she was struck. Given her speed she wouldn't fly back the way she'd come. She'd roll backward but continue along her forward path, skidding painfully across the ground on her shoulders back-first.

Cado had successfully eliminated Sir Aaron and KenoTao, leaving Jade to face him alone.

Caine Saewin

PostPosted: Thu Nov 12, 2009 11:15 pm

Caine had been drawing steadily closer as the battle had worn down from an epic clash of titans to a straight-up fist fight between men. He still made sure to stay out of Cado's barrier, and was glad he did so after seeing the big guy take off after his sister, Keno Tao, and the Wesley's old man. Oh, this'll be good to see up closer, he thought to himself.

Now not only was he getting to see the end of Tybron, but hopefully of his sister as well if she kept pushing the limits. Wouldn't that be delightfully ironic? Lovers killed in the same battle, one trying to save the other? Jade really had turned out to be a disappointment with her annoying human nature. Where was the battle and blood lust she should have as a Saiya-jin? The General had all but given up on her, and seeing her possibly wiped out would be no displeasure. Though, he thought to himself, the death of her boy-toy might just push her back over the edge. It wouldn't be the first time it happened. Keno Tao was a prime example of that.

Thinking quietly to himself, Caine continued to draw closer to a point, so he could see both his sister and the Wesley brothers in the distance. He wasn't going to push his luck with Cado.
