The Fierce Deity Vice Captain

::Angellus didn't answer back to Jade's remark about the battle. He actually could keep up with them a little better than she could, but only if he activated the heightened reflexes of his artificial eye. Even so, they were moving at an ungodly speed, neither seemed to be giving way. I think just one of those kicks would liquify me, he commented with a heavy lump in his throat. So this is what the emperor has been keeping from us all...small wonder he took over so swiftly.
Being raised in the age prior to Taliman's rule, Angel was part of a relatively small percentage of Orinians that was against the demon empire. While in recent years Angel had begun to see demons in a different light, he still didn't approve of Taliman's actions, both as a person and a monarch. In fact, he had inside intel that the emperor was having an affair, but he would need more proof before he could ever try to go public with such a rumor.
The slayer was violently thrown from his thoughts by an impact of astronomic proportions. The shockwave blew him onto his rear end, but he seemed to be otherwise fine, as though the impact was dampened just as it hit him. Once he opened his eyes - having winced as he was thrust backward - he saw the towering Aaron looming over him, one arm cradling Jade's back and his other keeping a secure hold of the mysterious munchkin on his shoulder. He seemed to be under some weight, so to speak - given the fact that all of the wind and sand was blasting around them as opposed to into them, he assumed that some arcane ability of the knight's was keeping them from danger.
With a nervous skip of his heart, he started to rise from the sand, offering a nod to Aaron before returning his attention to the battle.::
::Angel blinked. They were encased in a shroud of sand, nothing but falling pebbles visible. Aaron's magical protection - whatever it was - placed them within some manner of magic bubble, so sand was pouring down onto it and surrounding them. With a soft beep audible only to him, the slayer quickly turned about-face, in the direction opposite where the duel had been taking place.::
They're over there!
::His sensors had picked up the powers of the two brothers, though how they managed to move so far away after a blast like that he couldn't sa--::
...no, wait...
::Another beep, and his attention as again drawn to his back. Another ki power, just as huge. Wearing his look of confusion for only a moment, Charade realized his mistake - he wasn't used to such massive powers. When two people were very close together - especially if they're powerful - their two kis can be mistaken as one. It just took his computer a few seconds to find the other power. Now, which was which?
He squinted, stared up at the second ki power he found, trying to isolate it's features so he could identify it - at this distance, it was harder than usual. All he could tell readily was that it was getting stronger at a fierce rate.::

Silent desolation was to Keno the most tormenting experience he could possibly imagine. Alone, in the middle of nowhere, with not a sign of life relatively close by - by most standards - he sat at the foot of a dune. After the incident with the mage and her monkey-husband, he had taken to just whipping away somewhere, his body appearing where he now sat. It was his intention to ease his troubled mind and cool his boiling blood, but of course, not even a minute into his seeming meditation did he get back on his feet.
To be sure, time didn't work the same way for Keno as it used to. More often than not a second was much more than a second, a day much longer than a day. Eternity lay before him in finite endlessness. Having become accustomed to solitude, and no longer being so aware of time as an influential element in his life, the negative side effect was his tendency to go and stay gone. For the most part, this didn't matter. No one missed him and those who did never held it against him. For his part, he could care less how they felt. Most of them anyway. Those few exceptions though were enough to cause him endless discomfort, whether he was with them or without them.
He turned to climb the dune, each step drawing him back about four inches or so against his two foot stride. Were it not for the slope, he'd have taken larger steps, but it wasn't plausible. Then again, it wasn't exactly like he was rushing. He walked up calmly and collected, his every step ominous as the winds seemed to grow oddly settled, but felt - to him - restless. Thanks to the hem of his pants, even the indention of his feet into the sand kept the tiny grains out of his shoes, but they still seemed to be adding weight to him from somewhere. He only noticed this absently, his mind on other things - particularly the fight and his recent discomfort with a sensitive, purple-haired, incompetent, good-for-...
He dispelled the thoughts as his head rose, finally, above the crest of the dune, eyes glowing that solid orange color that gave the illusion of godhood. No sooner than he was over the hump was his body met full force with a wave of blasting sand and debris. It collided with him mercilessly, and had more than enough force to simply do away with his body and instantly bury the evidence. No one would be the wiser.
Of course, the fact that he was a titan unto his own right quickly removed this possibility from view, and though the exile was consumed by the grandfather of all sandstorms, there was nothing about his demeanor that suggested he was walking into Death. His existence, as it were, ceased to be, but he had done that several times before. Why should this be any different?

{{Ok from what I see Deity and Tali still going at it in epic style so I am just gonna post that I am where I was before watching.}}
Sama watched with an almost lazy eye at the battle, blow after blow being traded like candy from kids. Each brother was throwing it out and taking it as they beat on one another with a new found resolved to kill one another. Samayou had been watching for some time and found little interest in the conflict itself but rather saw more excitement to see it end so that jade did not have to suffer any further. Silent did the big Devil stand with arms crossed and bubble shield up to lower temperature and block the sand from getting into his armor.

Cado was weathering the horrendous conditions without any complaints it seemed. All the while he'd stood where he was ordered to stand. Only that awful impact managed to sway him. Rising into flight as the groudn was swept out from under him, the mammoth Saiyajin rose and flew away from the battle a short distance. As the worst of the shockwave passed he slowed and eventually stopped, hovering in the air. He still remained as the closest warrior to the battle, acting as a sort of wall that separated the spectators and the combatants. Ignoring the dust that was collecting in his hair and over his clothing, Cado continued to serve his master's request, keeping a close eye on all those around him.

Jade threw up her arms to try and shield herself from the incoming shock wave, but it still threw her backwards. Her motion was stopped though by a large arm against her back. The girl looked up into the eyes of Sir Aaron, and Kaen (she assumed) on his shoulder. The fox-girl looked more like a pile of laundry than her normal self. Even Aaron was wrapped up in sheets. Out of the group, she was the most ill-suitably dressed for desert conditions in a pair of jeans, and shoulderless black turtleneck.
She smiled up at the Knight, before her green eyes took in the fact they were surrounded by a bubble of moving sand. She decided to ask him later about that. At the moment, Jake was spinning his head around faster than a top, bouncing between the two powers. While he might have better sight with his eye, she could distinguish ki signatures easier than he.
Her arm lifted slightly, pointing in the direction of high above them. "Deity, though what he's doing, I don't know...." He had to be doing something, to be gathering such amounts of power so far away. But Taliman was much closer to the planet, there was no way Deity would aim at him from up there.
