::What seemed more like a deafening thunderstorm continued to rock the heavens above as the two Wesley brothers twisted and turned about in the air, trading blows as they rose. Deity didn't take very long to realize that this would go on forever unless he did something about it. The next impact shook the air, and as he turned around he aimed himself at Taliman dead-on. He opted against simply crashing alongside the emperor and moving on in favor of clashing head to head with him.

As the boy aimed himself, he kicked up his speed and throw his arms forward, crossing them in front of his head and turning his skinny frame into a supersonic battering ram. He wasn't sure how his brother would take the blow, so his intention was to rebound sideways to bring himself to a stop before going in again. Deity banked on the sudden if not simple maneuver to throw Tali off, even if only a little.::

"It's alright," he said calmly, though no more emphatically, "I realize it until recently myself. Some game Ichi was playing struck me as oddly familiar."

He turned on the ball of his left foot and looked around himself. As he expected, there was no one else in sight. He just wanted to be sure. Once again, he turned his back to the mage indifferently.

"Meeting her parents would be...interesting." He didn't have much more to say about that. The thought had crossed his mind to take her to Japan to meet the lady who had taken him and his sister in, but it was never something he acted on. Likewise, he wondered if it might be okay to meet her parents, but he never brought it up. Since he saw so little of her - even if it was all his fault - he preferred selfishly to have her to himself when they could be together. Ichi didn't mind as far as he could tell, but maybe she would like the idea. "I'll ask her about it."

Her expression visibly brightening she nodded in agreement.

"I think that would be a good idea..."

Pausing in mid-sentence he expression seemed to grow distant.

"...Even if it is graves you would be visiting."

It was clear she was deviating to her own thoughts once again. Raising her gaze to the man before her she smiled warmly.

"You really love her a great deal don't you? The way Kenta has been speaking of you as of late really had caused me to question that. I forget that people sometimes do things that are not readily understandable. I can see your really putting something that your reluctant to do at the forefront of your mind. I've been there more often than I would like to admit. I suppose you can tell with my presence here."

Sensing Unk's mana signature above them she shook her head unable to properly hear what he was saying above the torrents of wind and sand blowing over them. Sighing she shook her head.

"I swear that man better go back to watching this match...If it weren't for him I wouldn't be out here..."

"So the hell what?" Keno asked abruptly and without sympathy toward Unks. The winds around the Briefs couple and himself fell calm all of a sudden as he whipped around and somehow or other thundered toward the purple monkey. "Your parents weren't slaughtered mercilessly by your elder brother, they didn't abandon you on the side of the road for any random stranger to scoop up, and they didn't get shot down in cold blood just because some b*****d in the military wanted to drag your sorry a** back to a sterile lab to perform tests on you! Your parents died the same way User's did; trying to rid themselves of a tyrant. The only difference is that someone in your family is still alive and -"

He stopped. He had to stop. Why in the hell was he bothering with Unks anyway? There were several people he had reason to avoid talking to, but that in itself meant he had something to say. He had nothing to say to Unks. Nothing bad, but nothing good either. Both eyes flashed dangerously on the Saiya-jin as he struggled to find a bit of patience within himself. The mask felt oppressive when he inhaled. A trick of the mind he assured himself. Then he sighed.

"Consider yourself lucky, and be proud and grateful. Now go back to the fight before I bury you alive on principle." The wind burst back into being around the three. Keno returned to the mage, not looking at her, but standing beside her. This way his back couldn't be to her. As the sands obscured their vision and grated against their clothes and skin, he stared into the distance; something that should have been impossible. Either Keno was looking for more patience, or was picking out his next words carefully.

"That boy...is far sighted. There's a manga Ichi reads. One of the characters described himself the same way. He said he couldn't see how important things were when they were up close, but the further away they became, the more significant they were. That boy acts just like that character." The gears in his mind were grinding for the next part. One of the reasons he had chosen to wear a mask was this. If he didn't feel like expressing himself, he didn't have to, and although it was true that one had to pretty much maintain a blank expression in order for their eyes to do the same, a completely exposed face may still give away the difficulty with which the person had to maintain the image. With the sand flying about like loose fabric in the wind, he was assured that the mage wouldn't be able to see his irritation, even if she could feel it.

"It bugs me a lot to have my feelings for Ichi questioned by anyone," he said sternly. "Especially when she hasn't said anything." He had decided not to say anything more about it at that point, and there was a silence in which the mage could have said anything to him. She would realize that he wasn't really listening though because he spoke up again as though he had nothing to address but his own thoughts.

"To answer your question though...I love her as much as you must love that monkey of yours.

"And I mean that sincerely."

Blinking dumbfounded at Keno's outburst she was incredibly taken aback by the seemingly random outburst. Furrowing her brow she bit back the words that threatened to escape her lips.

"I don't know what Unks just said to you but was that really called for? With your own words you said that we are all bridged by the tragic circumstances. It trivializes what everyone has gone through to try to prove how much greater ones' hardship is in comparison to one another..."

Gritting her teeth she stamped the ground

"Far sighted huh...yeah perspective really places things in a different light. In that I'm a sorry for thinking ill of Keno. Its not my place to evaluate your relationship with Ichi. I'm far from being an expert in mine."

As she said that last part her gaze rested upon her husband. A smile curled on her lips as she gazed at the man she had given heart and soul to many years now.

"And you love..."

Abruptly grasping his collar she she yanked him forcefully down to her eye level.

"And you...Why aren't you watching the fight? I seem to remember you giving me this song in dance in how we had to be here to support Deity and how you wouldn't leave unless I came..."

At this point she was practically shaking him with enough force to make him appear like an over sized bobble head.

"I ******** HATE THE DESERT!! ITS DRY!! SAND GETS EVERYWHERE, AND ITS ******** AS HOT AS THE GOD DAMNED SUN!! s**t WE PRACTICALLY ARE NEXT TO THE BLOODY SUN!!"

At that point she abruptly switched to angry barrage of dutch, the rage just seething through her pores. Taking a deep breath she released his collar readily forcing herself to calm down, burying her face in his chest.

"My god...you make me crazy sometimes..."

::Before Unks knew what happened he notice Keno further back then he just was with marks in the ground like he slid, and his right arm cocked to the side as if he sucker punched Keno. Unks' eyes were fierce and his breathing heavy for a second. He looked at his fist and then at Keno. Remembering what was said Unks realized why he did what he just did.

"I don't care who you are, friend or not! You don't go and bad mouth someone for something that happened to their family. My family was hunted and murdered not killed in a battle! We've all had a hard life don't judge or cut down anyone when your in no position too!"

Before Unks could regain his composure he was being shaken by his wife as she yelled at him. It seemed she was yelling at Keno as well, but he couldn't tell because he was in his own little rage. As she shook him he grabbed her hands and stopped her. He looked into her eyes and sighed.

"Then leave my love you do not need to be here anymore, and I really don't want to be here anymore either. . ."

He looked down at Keno and sighed softly now regretting what he had done, but still it had to be done::

"I think our time here has expired. . I'm sorry for hitting you Keno, but no one has the right to talk like that to anyone without some sort of consequence."

He doesn't know what he would have said to Epithany, but he was going to reply with something. Maybe just an apology, or a grunt, or something. Right or wrong, good or bad, he didn't much care. Before he could speak though, he felt a sharp, sudden pain in the back of his head that knocked him off balance. He stumbled two steps forward to catch himself, bent at the waist, and growled dangerously. No one would hear it over the wind, but he growled nonetheless.

He didn't retaliate though.

Maybe because he felt he deserved it. Maybe because he didn't want to fight the mage's husband in her presence. Or maybe because the mage was shaking him like a rag doll and giving him a piece of mind he certainly deserved for dragging her all the way out here. Her rage, playful or no, was a brief demonstration of why Keno made a point not to cross her if he could help it. Of all the people he interacted with, she was probably the most dangerous. Better that those people stay on your side.

Unks, naturally, didn't even argue. Whether he was just as wary of her rage or not, Keno couldn't tell, but the Saiya-mutt's quick reversal was just as irritating as his initial desire to come out here in the first place. Did this guy ever think anything all the way through or did he merely act on impulse every five minutes? How in the hell did the mage put up with it?

"I'm sorry for hitting you Keno, but no one has the right to talk like that to anyone without some sort of co-"

The last word wouldn't even come out of his mouth before Keno's right fist was lodged in the center of his face, threatening to break his nose, blacken both eyes, and loosen a few teeth all in one go. Would he have a warning? Technically? Yes. But Keno's power was like air in a balloon. Pop the balloon and all that power goes racing out. By the time Unks felt the energy spike, he'd already have a face full of fist.

"I don't take lectures from spineless pussies," he said, eyes glowing solid orange, burning like flames of righteous fury. It was a dangerous blow all told, but not because Unks might strike back. The mage was between both men, and even though Unks would have no time to defend himself, Pith moving her head even a little bit could result in a concussive blow to the top of her skull. Keno didn't want that, but at the same time, he could apologize later. She was the voice of reason between the two after all. Even if she did kick his a** in retribution.

The change in tactic didn't throw Wesley off by a great margin namely due to the fact that he was expecting it. Any fool would know not let this sort of battle drag out longer than a few hits. One of them was destined to give and quite clearly Tybron didn't want it to be him.

When the attack came Tali turned himself and tucked his arms for a shoulder ram, which blasted against his enemy's attack. From this impact expanded another sizable wall of force, causing the two men to bounce off of eachother as this energy was expelled. They instantly zipped right back toward eachother this time throwing themselves into a high speed exchange of blows that mocked the quickness of one's eyes. With Tybron's overflowing energy and Taliman's small size it was difficult to see any of their attacks, but the fact that they changed position very little told the story how well they kept up with eachother.

Meanwhile in the distance, Cado still stood firm and quiet. He was unmoved by the concussive shockwaves behind him, though was being thoroughly doused with spraying sand. He was doing his job of keeping watch over the battle so to speak. He hadn't yet had a reason to move but somehow from the blank look on his face one could imagine that he wouldn't care how eventful the day was anyway. Guards this obedient were hard to come by.

Back in the midst of the fight, Taliman was in the middle of delivering his own assault. Ducking under his brother's previous attack the Emperor countered with a hard right hook upwards toward the face. As he rose to a "standing" position he attacked with a knee lift to the gut coming in from the side. Twisting his little red frame, Wesley spun counterclockwise and kicked a roundhouse with the same leg to Tybron's head, the extravagant movement appearing to not hinder the speed of his attack at all.

::If it weren't for the boy's classic red bandana, sweat would likely be clouding his eyes - as it was, despite the blistering heat and the tension, he was starting to have a little fun. It had been a while since he'd been able to fight all out like this, and to his pleasant surprise he was doing rather well. While he hadn't landed any truly significant blows, neither had Tali - they were meeting eachother blow for blow. It wasn't winning, but it wasn't losing either. He'd improved quite a ways, after all.

Said blows continued, and Deity flowed with the battle as though it were the song to his favorite dance. He swept his right arm over to the side and diverted the hook, then hammered it down, bunting the knee away with his palm. Tali spun, and as his kick was delivered the tall boy rose his left arm to catch the kick with the padding of his glove. Happy to show off his speed, Deity quickly answered with a right elbow swung up at the jaw, followed by a left-and-right alternating pair of open palms to the chest.

Without any quarter the quiet Orinian ducked forward as his left boot came flying in at Tali overhead, heel-first. It sprung away like a rubberband and as the boy righted himself he performed his own right knee lift, rising higher into the air and kicking it into Tali's sternum.::

Tali brought himself back from his kick and swung his right forearm inward, clashing with Tybron's to stop it. His left hand made an upward circular sweep motion to push the first palm away, an act that was mirrored by his right arm for the second. With his right hand already in the air and a crescent kick overhead, he rose both arms in a cross, which caught and absorbed the kick. Stopping the knee was as simple as backing away a trivial distance and dropping both hands down onto the attacking leg.

As blocking the knee lifted him also a little higher in the air, the Emperor went with it and rose, snapping his right boot up in a flat kick to the nose. He positioned his arms to shift his weight and chased the right kick with a harder left, coming in sideways for the neck. Behind that attack Taliman had planned to spin further, drop, and crash his right fist into his brother in a backward swing, assuming his kick hadn't been stopped.

::An easy block in simply crossing his arms in front of his face sufficed, so Deity just made due with that for the first kick. The second came as somewhat of a surprise, and instinctively he ducked under it to let it fly overhead. When he rose back up his right arm rose with him, positioned next to his face to take the punch. In his position Taliman would suspect an assault to his open back - among other things, that tail of his ensured that his back as never as open as it seemed.

Instead he turned his hand and grabbed onto the wrist of the previously attacking arm, turned into his opponent to bring them facing the same direction, and brought his left arm up from underneath Tali's extended right, attacking with an open palm uppercut to the jaw. If it worked it would leave his entire torso open to attack.

Hit or miss, this same hand quickly shot back down in a hard chop to Taliman's abdomen - Deity quickly released his brother's right arm and attacked over with the same chop again using his now freed hand. After this quick succession, Deity returned to his previous position facing his brother and rose with a whiplike roundhouse to Tali's face.::

There wasn't much time to think, but if there was the Emperor would be berating himself. Even if they were evenly matched otherwise Tybron was still much faster. He couldn't afford to leave himself open like that. Before he could close up his weak spot his jaw and stomach had already taken hits, and Tybron was rearing for the last. Thankfully this one he would avoid by flipping backward in the air. As he flipped he turned and while he was still upside down Wesley blasted a pair of kicks at Tybron's neck and shoulder, left then right.

After the second kick he continued the flip and as he descended to a suitable fighting height, his back turned to his enemy again, he twisted and like a cannon his left foot aimed itself for the chest in a high mule kick.

::Deity thought he heard something crack when that first kick landed, having just recovered from his own when it struck. He winced at the sudden pain but would nurse it later - his left arm rose quickly if not painfully as the leg pulled away and another attacked, being safely blocked. The bigger surprise came when the left foot returned with a vengeance - his lanky limbs trailed his folded torso as he flew backward from the kick, finally separating the two.

The tall boy halted himself with a strained effort, only a few meters away from his opponent. He was quick to set his red sight again on Taliman, and without a second thought brought his wrists together and aimed his palms at his brother. A loud pop, and two bright spheres of energy - about the size of his head - tore across the open distance after Tali.::
