Glaring at Furor she sighed. The truth was that he was correct. It was as if the fates were working against her today. First he had one upped her back at the club and here Unks had allowed himself to be wounded in a similar fashion to the b*****d.
"Do you want a cookie for that observation?"
Running her hand through her hair she shuffled away from the two Saiya-jins to seemingly get a better view of the fight. She had no real interest, but she was finding the area stuffy.

::Unks smiled warmly at his wife as she tended to his needs. He put one hand on the back of his head and rubbed the back of it blushing and sweating. when she was done he kissed her softly and continued to smile at her.
"Thank you love I guess I was just to focused on the match to really pay attention. I owe you one."
He then turned his gaze to his red haired evil self and glared with his left ice blue eye, the only eye to be seen at the moment. He stepped forwards and got closer to Furor::
"Don't flatter yourself. We may look more alike now, but in terms of everything else you and I have nothing in common. Now why are you even here? You have no ties to the brothers."

A few miles outside the designated battle site, a relatively small shuttle broke through the atmosphere and the clouds. It's compact size would draw little attention, especially in such a desolate area. The energy signature inside, however, might garner more attention to those who were aware. The craft was gunmetal gray and oval in shape. The front had three windows the pilot looked out, and they gave the shuttle a bit of a bug-like appearance.
Thrusters on the bottom of the ship turned on, slowing it's decent and allowing the three landing gear to emerge in time. It touched down with a slight groan behind some large boulders, not to keep it hidden, but to protect it slightly from the battle going on not too far away.
The pilots chair spun around, a dark gray officers jacket placed over the back of it. No need for that, he was off duty. The door on the port side opened up, the desert heat and sun enveloping the cabin. That didn't bother the Saiya-jin General at all. When he first heard of how Tybron had foolishly challenged the Emperor, Caine had been hoping he'd be able to witness the showdown. Thankfully, luck was on his side, and he was able to get off duty in time for the main event.
The warrior blasted off from the doorway, the portal closing automatically following his exit. Within moments, he had arrived just outside the group gathered to watch this event. Not that he cared for their company, but listening to their comments might be amusing.
Caine stood dressed as many knew him before he was appointed General High Commander of the Orinian Empire. A black, form-fitting tank top tucked into loose dark-blue pants of a light-weight durable material, hung low enough around his waist to allow for his monkey tail to hang freely behind his legs. Black boots faded to a dustier version due to sand as he approached the gathering. His infamous black bandanna was around his forehead, restraining some of his black locks. A minor addition was a small device attached to his right ear, similar to what humans would call a 'blue tooth'.
"Seems like I made it just in time."
He grinned in a slight sadistic way, ignoring just about everyone, though his dual colored eyes would take notice of everyone, lingering especially on the form of his obviously agitated sister. Saewin stepped towards the front gathering, standing on the opposite side of Cado from them, paying the bodyguard no mind. "I've been waiting a long time to see this."[ Image of my shuttle, for those to lazy to get a mental image. 500+ cool points if you know the series it's from.]

"F@#k this," Keno muttered beneath his breath, the message masked by the rumbling groan in his throat. This spectacle was drawing more attention than he thought, none he thought it originally deserved. He couldn't just sit by and contribute to it so openly anymore. Clearly there were enough people around for that, and as much as he wanted to be there for Jade, it didn't seem he was all that needed for even that small role. His hands, which had balled into fists in his lap at some point, opened up flat against his upper thigh as he seemingly pushed himself up, which was in fact as easy as unfolding his legs beneath him.
There was a six-ish inch skid mark in the sand, marking the spot from which he slid when Tali's power exploded into being. He hadn't been knocked over, hadn't been struck by anything, and was perfectly fine all told save for those six inches. Sitting down didn't accord too much resistance to that kind of force. It was enough that he had kept his center low, he thought. Not even rising to the big monkey's shoulder, the man-tiger turned to Jade, eyes saying nothing and face concealed, and bent himself at the waist until his lips were near her temple. He didn't take off the mask, but he did give her the smallest peck of a kiss, a sign of his support that, like the kiss, would linger on even if she couldn't see it. He'd still be close by...just not here.
His first inclination was to leave, but maybe the mage had the right idea. He moved to accompany her, but thought twice of it. If he went, Unks would definitely follow, as if he wasn't likely to anyway, and that simply meant more irritation. Besides, he didn't really have any reason for approaching her in the first place. What were they gonna do? Ridicule the fight to shame? No point in that. He wasn't eloquent or patient enough for that to make him feel any better.
He went right, passed Jade, passed Cado, and stopped behind Caine. "If no one else, spare Jade today," he pleaded, though he had no right to, nor Caine any incentive. "At least until the end of the fight." He said nothing else, turned right face, and walked off, effectively traveling further from the Wesleys, his footprints promised an uncertain longevity in his wake. There would be no point in watching for him to stop, because he intended to keep going until one couldn't be sure he was still there or not. Unless anyone was fool enough to follow him, they wouldn't know where he wound up, but then they'd miss the fight, and he was sure that had a higher priority than his desert wanderings.< >

((*gives Keno the 500 cool points, even though Caine used an image with the series name on it.* I would put up another question following Caine, but the answers could easily be googled, so....I'm not.))

Watching her husband bicker with his dark counterpart she furrowed her brow in annoyance wondering if she still wanted to be here. It was one thing to want to support a loved one. But when that entailed having to entertain the presence of an unwanted outsider, she was really at her wits end.
Snagging her from her thoughts the appearance of an unidentified shuttle caught her attention. Recognizing the familiar mana signature of Jades older brother as its occupant she sighed. She knew little of man, save for the fact of his relationship with his sibling and the fact he was dead beat father to the twins back at the Orion.
"When it rains, it pours..."
As Caine exited in his craft she made note of an exasperated Keno depart from the group. Sucking on her tongue she smirked thinking he had the right idea. If she shrouded her mana signature she could likely escape without much in the way of confrontation.

Taliman flashed a sly smile at his little brother.
Was he being truthful with what he said? If he wasn't lying, what did he mean? If what was on display was fifty percent of his full power then obviously he wasn't telling the truth, as they were evenly matched in power. If he was being truthful, this was less than half. Which was ludicrous.
The Emperor of Orion did so love turning heads however, and granting his opponents a moment of fleeting glory before forcing upon them that last gift of despair. Only time would tell of his intentions.
"We shall see," was all he said and with that he returned to his ready stance. Opening his arms to his sides he stepped forward once so his feet were in line. His tail broomed the sand behind him in the stillness. His dark blue eye narrowed on Tybron. A momentary breeze happened by and caused the drape over his leg and the sleeve on his arm to roll casually in the air. Far away from the gathered crowd, it was a profound stillness, pure silence.
When suddenly with a spike of ki there was movement. But it was such a distance away. The Wesley brothers were no longer in their places. Magically they appeared dozens of meters away and in the air. Taliman's feet were extended at the end of a dropkick, and with a great crash Tybron was sent head-first into the desert floor. The younger brother was buried in the ground and underneath a huge cloud of dust and sand, but who could say why? What the hell had just happened? The fastest eyes would have been lost to guesswork.

Jade crossed her legs in front of her instead of balancing on the balls of her feet, though it was unlikely now there would be any large bursts of power to knock her over. She dusted herself off lightly, listening to the continuing exchange between the brothers. Did Deity say Taliman was bluffing? Of course he was, she argued with herself. Tali was arrogant, but not that arrogant. And what would be the point in only going half way if he wanted to crush Deity? But the fox was a superb mentalist, maybe he was drawing them into security with reverse psychology. But why bother with something like that?
The girl suddenly shook her head, trying to clear out the points from both sides of the argument. It was then she noticed someone else had arrived to watch the spectacle, much to her displeasure. He was expected, but not very welcome. Partially, she wished this hadn't turned into such an event, though if there hadn't been a crowd already, the brother's dueling energies would have drawn them anyways.
Keno rose beside her, and before she had fully turned to look at him with questioning eyes, he leaned over and planted a soft kiss at her temple through his mask. He was leaving, she gathered quickly, even before he started to walk away, pausing only for a moment to speak to her brother on the other side of Cado. Keno might be leaving, but Jade knew better than anyone else present that he was still around in some way.
A sudden spike of energy made her head snap back around to the fight in the distance. They were gone from one place and in another, and then Deity was in a third - burrowed into the hard ground with a cloud of dust above. For a moment, her body started lifting, but she caught herself and sat back down hard, lifting the right sleeve of her shirt and chewing on it nervously. Still it was only just beginning.

::Deity likewise waited, seeming to bask in the quietness of the moment. He and Tali were staring eachother down, the elder brother waiting for his moment to attack. The sun was beginning to slip down over the mountainous formations in the distance, causing the Wesleys' shadows to stretch near endlessly across the rocky ground.
A quick jump in energy - Taliman was using Shunkido. Deity instinctively followed suit - perfectly in time with Tali he shifted into instantaneous movement.
Time out.
Reading his brother's ki signature he advanced, knowing that Tali was doing the same. They clashed. The tyrant flew in with a rising knee attack, which Deity blocked with his extended palm before countering. He rose from the ground with a jump and let fly a pair of straight kicks - first a toe kick with his left then, with a slight pivot to the side, a flat kick with his right foot. Tali swatted away the first and ducked the second, delivering his own right kick - which Deity's right guard caught - before landing in a pivot and firing two open palms. The first palm was also blocked, and Deity caught the second within his left hand. He swung a right which Tali ducked under, then felt a punch dig into his lower back.
The groan of pain he would've made fell silent. Sound did not travel while using Shunkido, just as light didn't. He pushed it aside and yanked Tali by the arm as he retaliated with his free elbow to the temple. The blow parted them, and Deity was quick to chase after Tali with a pair of left kicks, both snapping for the head. Tali easily blocked them, but before he could come back with anything Deity made with a right spinning heel, which was more closely shielded. Still he pressured on, pivoting and firing a right kick in the opposite direction.
To get some breathing room Taliman drifted skyward - Deity advanced further with a straight left boot to the chest, which connected and pushed Tali further up. He was relentless in his advance, spinning around and aiming another left heel that his brother narrowly avoided. On and on, his long legs flew like propeller blades, sending the two men higher and higher, Taliman doing all he could to keep his arms up.
Finally the king of Orion snatched the right leg from the air, gripped it tightly in his claws. Deity was quick to try and shake him - he dropped an ax kick, but Tali tanked it, caught it over his right shoulder. Uh-oh. Before Deity knew what to do Taliman had pulled his legs up and acquainted them by force with Deity's face. The force was such that it broke his concentration long enough to disrupt the careful balance needed to sustain Shunkido.
Time back in.
The impact was a mighty one, and Deity let out a stunted scream as his lanky body hurtled into the ground, leaving a shimmering trail of ki as his bloody aura tried to keep up with him. The devastation looked more like it was caused by a series of impacts, as it stretched along a good distance as the boy plowed through the stone ground before eventually coming to a halt, now a considerable ways underground. After the rumbling stopped, all that was left was a lazy cloud of sand working its way back down to the ground.
After a couple of seconds, Deity's power vanished. Suppressed to the point of silence, invisibility.::

He righted himself and stared down at the chaos below as Tybron landed. Tali had a calmly focused look on his face as his clenched fists rose to chest level in wait for the next attack. That first exchange was quite brief, but rather precisely illustrated why he should be wary of Tybron's speed. He had a slight ringing in his head from the elbow, though overall wasn't in any pain. Strange it was, however, that the fight had not continued. Tybron was lying prone, and-- gone. His power vanished.
Taliman growled. "You can get up now," he said. "I know that didn't hurt you."
The fact that he was deliberately hiding meant he was up to something. Wesley's eye scanned around for a second as he waited.

::The pause wasn't very long, but long enough to make Tali impatient. Down below, behind him, an energy signal appeared. A huge section of ground roughly fifty feet in diameter quickly sank into the planet - an effect caused by an underground explosion vaporizing the earth below - before something blasted it away. A brilliant pillar of energy erupted from below, sending smoke and debris higher into the air only a short distance behind Tali. It wasn't an attack, but rather a flashly boom that went off. A mere distraction.
Only a moment later up flew a swift red flash of light, flying out at Tali from the dust back down where Deity had been sent. The mighty tyrant had only a small timeframe to avoid it, but -- it wasn't Deity, only a large ki ball. Only after the ball hit or passed its mark did the hidden Orinian himself make his location apparent. Flying at high speed at Tali - from above - was Deity, having at some point made his way above his brother and currently ripping down with his right fist forward, aiming to slam Taliman all the way down to the ground.
The landing would be rough and spectacular, and with any luck jarring enough that the boy would land a few extra blows. In the current situation he opted to have his fists double as jackhammers, his elbows pumping furiously as he punched and punched, his knuckles aiming to flatten any given target and have Tali in two pieces before they stopped.::
