A sharp thwack would be felt against Chris's behind as his tail whipped against her playfully. It would leave a reproving mark, but it was more playful than anything.

"Now, now," he said to her lightly, "I'm just a little dizzy. It's nothing to worry about." Truly, he was purring rather pleasantly, though he was trying not to. He would purr a lot when someone makes him happy, but when he gets too hold, he'll feel like it's not proper of a young man, even if the people who would rear him would be the only ones around to ever hear him.

"Thank you," he said under his breath to her, as though they were sharing some inside joke that he didn't want the rest of the world hearing. The kisses, the concern, and even all the silly sweet things that he would have been fine without but felt better with, made his tail wag shamelessly. Looking up at Miss Pith, he smiled in such a way as to belie more than gratitude. Something that removed her apology from the picture, forgave her, and yet didn't really recognize it all at the same time, filling any negative experience with positive sentiment.

"I'll be fine," he answered with the same liveliness he often tried to bring to those he cared about. "Came and went; most of it with what remained of my lunch." One would think the boy had discovered some divine revelation, the way he kept his spirit some times, but he really did seem to be fine, save for relying on Chris to hold him up. Even though he didn't feel dizzy, he didn't want to take chances. At the same time, he was sure he could make do without her, but he didn't want to.

"Are you going to the fight," he asked Miss Pith innocently. He didn't much mind, and he already knew the answer, but he wanted to know her reason, since he could still ask and he hadn't asked anyone else.

Jade glanced over as Unks landed, asking how Deity was holding up. The battle had only just begun. He hadn't missed much yet. Just as she was about to comment on that fact, the air cracked and vibrated with the hits the two brothers unleashed. She turned her gaze back to the fight, only a few moments in but escalating rapidly. They were only just starting on each other, figuring out what the other could do. It had been a long time since they had fought, and both had improved infinitely.

Though he said nothing, the vibe Tamashii was giving off told that he wasn't all that pleased with how things were going so far. His opinion will change, she thought to herself, though the prospect of the battle yet to come made her stomach turn. Things were going to get much worse before they got better.

She had kept silence so far, her eyes watching the fight and forgetting to answer Unks' question. Instead, she actually approached Cado, who had remained as still as a statue the entire time. She looked up at him for a moment, before stepping to his side and into his shadow. There she stayed, not stepping any further towards the dueling brothers.

Instead, she crouched down, sitting on her heels and balancing on the balls of her feet. The giant Saiya-jin's shadow was a few degrees cooler than the direct sun. She kept quiet and fairly still, though any who could read the signs of a tail would see the twitching appendage was unsettled and nervous.

"You're too tense," he muttered as he dropped beside her flat on his a**, legs sprawled outward. He didn't stay that way too long, but almost immediately folded his legs under himself in a seizan position. Highly uncomfortable until you got used to it. He was used to it.

Discomfort was just one of those things he dealt with. Maybe that was why Shinorei's hissy didn't bother him too much. It was actually pretty laughable that the sword thought it belonged in this fight at all, as though it had some god given right be involved with Tali's personal vendetta against Tybron, Deity, or whatever else the wolf might be or has been called in his lifetime. Personally, he thought Tybron was a cool name, and would have kept it regardless of the history of the 'name.' There were a lot of men named Charles, but that didn't make them all killers, and a lot of men named George, but that didn't make them heroes. Names didn't deny or grant penance for the sins of the people they belonged to. Keno had been through this with Deity and maybe even Jade a couple of times, and he knew it didn't change much, but since he wasn't Deity, he couldn't see what was so bad about being called Tybron.

"Remind me...why are they fighting again?" He didn't look at her, though his interest in the fight didn't seem to be the reason he was so focused on it. Thinking better of his question, he clarified. "I'm not trying to pick on your boyfriend, but I just can't remember what it is Tali has against Deity, save the fact that they used to raise hell together and now they don't. There's more to it than that, right?"

For all the others present, save Cado maybe, it would or already had become apparent that he had no interest in anyone else and had them on ignore indefinitely. A running commentary on the actual fight wouldn't make Jade feel better, especially if everyone spoke out loud - although Deity's current upper hand might prove the exception. Thinking on it any more than "wow!" or "augh!" or something along those lines didn't seem right. Maybe because this wasn't a spar where two people were just showing off their skills and would end up bowing toward each other and going on to live their lives in the end. What did it matter how sloppy Tali fought if he won, or how well Deity fought if lost and died? Was anyone, at that point, really gonna say, "You know what you could have done different halfway through the battle..."? If they did, they'd be bigger asses than Keno was.

All of this running through his head as he visibly contorted his expression to show ill-favor with the sand being blown here and there in response to the might of the Wesley's bodies colliding into one another. He needed to buy some damn goggles.

"Can you blame me...?" She said softly back to him as he sat down next to her, her gaze never leaving the fight some distance away. After all, the one person she cared more about than anything else was fighting for his life. Would Keno not be the same if it were Ichigo fighting for her life and he was forced to only watch?

"There's a lot to their quarrel. Mostly on Tali's side than anything. They used to fight on the same side, until Tybron vanished. He returned later, as Deity is now, a human and with no memory of his former life, becoming a renegade against Tali's regime. I guess Taliman was insulted by this and constantly hunted Deity, until they finally had a showdown on Orion. Tali nearly killed him, thus that scar on his face. Then Deity transformed into the Devil for the first time. Thus Taliman's eye patch, and about fifteen hundred years shaved off of his life in a void of some sort. Taliman's kingdom ended up destroyed as well by Fierce."

It was basically what Jade knew, had been told by various sources, and had figured out over the few years she'd been involved with Deity, and the brothers' feud. It was an abridged version of about two millennia worth of history. Basically, Tali wanted to beat Deity, without the threat of Fierce emerging. It was all a matter of pride when it came down to it: Who was the stronger brother? Who would live, and who would die? At least, that was what she had figured out so far.

The girl narrowed her eyes against the sand and dust that blew around them, turning her raven colored hair to a more speckled brown color. She ignored it as much as she could. After all, she was here by choice in the desert, in the sand and heat. She could deal with the discomfort.

"I think you may be over thinking their fued, then again what do I know."

Sama would appear behind them as he strolled up, seeming to ignore the body gaurd as he stood behind Jade. His arms in his pockets as he frowned at the two fighting.

"I have been out of Deity and your life for so long, wrapped up in my selfish wars and caimpaigns. If I see it right I think it has nothing to do with insults, I think no matter what they would always fight. They are Brothers, a fued will always exist and I think they will always want to see who is the better of them. Then again like I said what do I know, you know 'em better then anyone Jade."

::Upon reflecting the Kamehameha the second time, Deity drifted away a short distance to create a little more space between him and his hidden opponent. All instincts told him to follow up. That attack was nothing though, he thought. If Tali seems vulnerable, it's just bait.

Opting to goad him out of the trap without going into it, the quiet Tonepian paused a moment before focusing his powers on the cloud below. His eyes flashed red and an eerie hiss echoed in the air as he fired an unfocused kiai from his person - the huge force would tear the cloud away and plow into anything within it.::

Surprise surprise, the cloud was blown away as though by wind, and nobody was inside of it. The kiai struck only the ground kicking up a massive pillar of sand but otherwise accomplishing nothing. Perfectly in time with the attack was an instant rise and fall in Taliman's ki. It was then that Tybron would learn where Tali was. A profound numbness would take over his body as his nerves froze and his limbs failed to respond. Only a short distance behind him now was the Emperor, his gi marred slightly by the prior attack but he himself clearly unharmed. His cloaked left arm was extended, palm aimed toward his brother as he kept him frozen in the air via telekinesis.

"Back here, brother," he said with a satisfied smile on his face.

It was a beautiful trap. Tybron was in it long before he suspected there to be a trap in the first place. Get mindgamed. Without further delay Taliman used a telekinetic push to hurl Tybron back, aiming him rather precisely into the risen wall of dirt and sand beyond. The moment the boy was lost to sight, the sand near him collected and condensed into a tight ball. Relinquishing his telekinetic freeze and instead taking hold of the sandy sphere, Tali guided it with his hand, lifting it free of the dirt and higher into the sky.

Once Tybron was held at a sufficient height of some two hundred feet, Wesley quickly gestured with his hand as though throwing something at his feet, all the while with his eye on the ball. The sphere plummeted at a dreadful speed, zipped right by Tali, and crashed into the earth like a meteor. The ball exploded under the force of the impact, sending chunks of rocky sand in every direction.

::This sucks, he thought rather bluntly, now frozen in place by his own lack of forethought. It often didn't occur to Deity that he wasn't the only man that had the art of Shunkido available to him. Clearly Taliman had used it to stay hidden in the cloud up until the last possible moment. Mental blinders had kept him from feeling that telltale spike of energy.

He pulled, he punched, he kicked, he strained. But none of it showed. Deity just made an awkward face and groaned, unable to move as much as he would've liked. He had to think of something and quick, as he wasn't even a fraction as well equipped as his elder brother was in this field of battle. His time to ponder was cut short as he was thrown into a curtain of sand, and within that moment he got his limbs back - but now he was trapped. Rather cramped, too.

The boy gave the wall of the sandy prison a kick, and it didn't budge. If he'd had a little more room he could probably shatter the thing - Tali's mere ability to control earthly elements likely had a factor in why suddenly dirt was too tough a material for Deity to break through. Another kick, now that he could feel the ball moving higher. Kick, kick. Break damn you, he begged. Stupid thing wouldn't break, wouldn't even fracture. The ascension stopped. He kicked, he punched, he elbowed at the wall. It just wasn't happening, and now there was only one direction to go. Only one more way to get out.

The ball fell, and the prisoner inside gravitated to the ceiling of it as he plummeted. With a fantastic crash the ball burst itself apart, digging an impressive crater into the earth. No Deity, though. Being fast enough to fly out the ball of sand after it fractured but before he himself hit the ground was a useful talent to have. Deity was nowhere near the crater, the remnants of the ball, or Tali. He let off a rhetorical comment on his former predicament, the sound of his soft voice somehow coming from behind Samayou.::

Deity's gotta keep his guard up for that sorta thing...

::He was floating just above the ground a good fifteen feet behind the others, dirt in his hair and sand peppering his clothes. Aside from an innocent look of caution, he seemed no worse for wear. To any who might have glanced in his direction he offered a nod, before the sand around him kicked up as he took off again. He flew at a more casual pace - that being, he was visible - in returning to his brother. He didn't attack however - the quiet boy only came to a soft landing far below and to Tali's left, his eyes up and waiting for his brother's retort.::

All he gave Jade or Tama after that was a grunt to acknowledge that he heard them, even if he didn't respond or offer any feedback. To Deity he gave nothing. If the Wesley's weren't in front of him somewhere, they probably weren't fighting, in which case he had even less reason to pay attention to them. For that brief moment that he was sitting there and Deity arrived, he wondered how odd the five of them must look; a literally black devil, a massive sculpture of flesh known Cado, a floating wolf demon, a distressed Saiya-lady, and her shorter, spiky haired, older brother, all of whom struck a different pose that did not suggest uniformity or allegiance in any way or another.

Deity was fast. Tali was...Tali. What word would you used to describe that short b*****d's greatest strength? It wasn't his strength, definitely not his speed - in this battle - and not really his ability to take a hit, like his bulky bodyguard. Intellect, maybe, but how do you determine who is a more intelligent fighter when there are so many factors to take into consideration?

Either way, it was about time the two stop testing each other. Maybe because Keno wasn't fighting, or maybe because he already had a pretty good idea of what both of them could do at this level. He knew enough about them to tell it wasn't worth paying to watch this portion of the fight. Both of them had much more up their sleeves and could very easily uproot everyone present and widen the perimeter of combat. Maybe, they would, maybe not, but if rocks and dust were all they were gonna have to worry about at 50 yards away, then there was no reason to consider either brother dying save by accident, and contrary to Tama's conjecture, the brothers were not merely competing with each other. One of them would die, and it wasn't going to be by accident.

Sama would watch the fight as sand flew everywhere and the uncomfortable feeling of the small grains against his skin annoyed him to a degree.

“If nobody minds…”

With that Samayou would lift his left hand out of his pocket his fingers spread as if reaching for something. His index and thumb connecting as if picking something off of a shelf, that motion created a slight humming and then….nothing?

Well Jade would feel it Keno could see it as the almost particle sized sparks formed around them…chaos energy in the form of a bubble. Using himself as a generator Sama had produced a stabilized field of chaos energy that would eliminate about 30 degrees of the heat and any more sand that happened to come their way. If a wayward attack or something of that nature also happened to fly their way he could amplify the field tenfold to protect them, their very own shield that both Keno and Jade could come and go as they pleased. The bubble formed in about a 7 and a half foot diameter but it came with side effects.

Jade was focused on the fight but Keno would only need to glance back to see something…odd. For a brief second Sama would…twitch? His head would roll back slightly as it shook back and forth once or twice, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as a sadistic smile crept across his face. His expression looked odd, like a CD skipping or something of that nature before his expression lapse back to normal and he himself refocused on the fight as he shoved his hand back into his pocket.

"*Grunt* Much better."

::Unks' ice blue eyes darted back and forth watching the brothers bout. He noticed Jade didn't answer his question, but he got his answer soon enough. As she, Keno, and Sama all walked off closer to Cado he followed them and stood in the shade keeping his eyes on the brothers.

As Jade told Keno a quick summary about why Deity and Taliman were fighting he listened closely so he knew what he could, because he too was left in the dark about most details reguarding the brothers. As Deity was trapped in a ball of sand and sent crashing down to the Earth Unks covered his eyes from the sand whipping about and around the area.

He felt Deity's energy behind him for a split second and nodded back to the tall boy with a smile. The bout was good, but nowhere near over. He watched as Deity rejoined Tali away from the small group. Unks noticed the small field around the others that seemed to be coming from Sama::

"Nice trick. .Mind if I join them in the safety zone?"

A smirk of amusement crossed the mage's lips as she watched the two teenagers. They were so cute it was it was hard not to smile. Any regret for having made the boy sick quickly evaporated as it had acted as the catalyst for their reunion.

Returning to her full height she clasped her hands behind her back glancing toward the fluctuations of mana spiking every now in then from the distant brawl. Piercing into her thoughts Kenta's question lay poised before her. Sucking on her tongue she smiled for a different set of reasons.

"Unks wants me there...We do what we do to make our loved ones happy. No matter how inane the reason."

Shaking her head she licked her lips drawing a series of runes into the atmosphere. With a hiss of static and a spark of light a portal spiraled into existence.

"You kids need a ride anywhere?"

The expression didn't fit exactly, but a car couldn't hit a location as precise as a dimensional portal.
