Suddenly something that felt like a pine needle exploded into a much more easily recognizable energy signature from directly behind Jade, and it was catching up fast. It wasn't very likely that she would let it distract her - it was only Keno after all - but if she did, it'd be hard to say at first whether he was planning to stop her or mow her down, because he was literally on her trail, but as he got too close, he casually veered off to her left, his hair whipping wildly along with the erratic behavior of the hem of his jeans. Rather than outrunning Jade, he slowed to accompany her, though he didn't say anything right away, and looked about as oblivious to her presence as he was to the various birds that were likely nesting in the trees below.
It was not Keno's inclination to offer anything like support for Deity in this fight, and even if he disagreed with some things and agreed with others concerning it, none of that really mattered. He would know which Wesley died no matter which corner of the world he was resting in, and it really didn't matter how whichever of them died because it wouldn't change much of anything thereafter. Still...Jade was his sister. If Deity did die, the least he could do was be a passing example of a good big brother.
He was waiting on the roof of the tower, after his talk with Tama, specifically for her. Once she left, he resolved, no matter who else was with her, he would follow suit. He would fly by her, and when they arrived, stand beside her. It might have been selfish, but since Deity couldn't do it this time, he felt it was his right over anyone else's, no matter how much she might hate him.
Yeah...he knew he was a jerk...
You wouldn't have noticed any of this reading his face - what was there to look at anyway. The only sign of personal investment he gave Jade was his palm landing on top of her head, which was quite awkward while airborne, and a light scratch of his fingers on her scalp. If that didn't say enough, then so be it. Aside from simply being there, that was all he would give her.

The veritable mass exodus of individuals was steadily growing as time went by. Sighing inwardly she glanced up at her husbands blue eyed gaze, her head drooping forward as to consume the space before them.
"Oh just go...Keeping a Saiya-jin from a fight is foolish."
Her expression grew critical as she spoke the next few words
"Even one they aren't directly involved...nor will be!."
Pursing her mouth as to draw in her lips she pouted silently to herself.
"I'll follow after you guys reach your destination..."
Releasing her arms from around his neck she adjusted her glasses sliding the silver frames from her face. The world at once became a convoluted mishmash of blurred colors. Squinting as if the action would do anything but darken her view she replaced the spectacles. Turning her back to him she glanced toward the double doors.
"Go on before I change my mind."
She knew he would likely rush off with or without her blessing eventually but keeping up the pretense was more for her than it was for him. The purple haired fool would likely worry her to death over the Wolf demon's well being unless he was allowed to watch.

Jade took the items from Sama and for a moment he felt a brief sigh of regret. He knew she would not stand around and wait so as she walked for the door the black hulking man followed her like a shadow....till she took off that was.....
For a brief moment he stood in silence outside Orion....he wanted to fly....for a second he felt like jumping up in the air too see if he could but he knew he could not and so he started the process all over ******** flying......I need a private jet or something."
He spread his feet wide in a sort of fighting stance, his back arching as he started to torque his body up. Winding his right shoulder back and his left shoulder down, crouching as his power level rose in a violent burst! The ground shaking as a profound silence fell around him and all noise was dropped away before returning ten fold. The air crackling as the sonic boom erupted behind him and towards the Club as he blasted forward in a full on top speed sprint! Covering distance in seconds as his legs pounding against earth crushing any stone that may fall under his foot. His arms pumping as his scarf flailed in the wind behind him, helpless as a child drowning in the sea.
it was not long before he was forced to slow down his pace as he ran under Jade and Keno, glancing up with a smile before focusing on dodging every tree that happen to be in his way. Zig Zagging back and forth like a pro as he kept pace as best he could and once he got a lock on exactly where Tali and Deity planned to fight he could simply plane walk there but for now running was his only option.

Taliman and Cado flew through the sky faster than the human eye could follow. Over plains, cities, rivers and lakes, mountains and valleys they flew, covering a good deal of distance in a short matter of time. They were at a decent enough height as to avoid any obstacles and not run into any aircraft. Tybron had caught up quickly as expected, and quite a distance behind him was another person gradually gaining on them. The big Saiyajin stared emotionlessly forward but Wesley glanced back over one shoulder, catching a glimpse of Tybron some fifty feet away and a little higher up. He only smiled and looked front and center, the loose fitting nature of his clothes flapping wildly in the wind.
It took only a few seconds and soon an entire crowd was growing behind them all headed in the same direction. Quite a show this was becoming. One of them wasn't in the sky at all. The two in the lead had passed up a certain nuisance along the way going just fast enough to be seen before he was passed by down below. His presence was of no consequence as long as he stayed out of Wesley's affairs. He had a tendency to do anything but, although with luck he would keep to himself provided the scenario at hand. The demon hunter's last assassination attempt had been thwarted by Cado. If that was to be his objective on this day then he had only another failure to meet him in his future.
The Emperor surveyed the landscaped around him as he and his bodyguard flew. Only a couple of minutes out now. The battle would begin shortly.

::Unks lowered his head and looked at his feet as Epithany told him to go on without her and she would catch up soon after. He this idea didn't sit to well with him. He looked up to see her back to him now and he sighed softly. He turned his back to her and started to walk away slowly.
Once he was at the large double doors he placed his hand on the handle, but then quickly pulled it away. He looked back over at his wife and sighed once more. He pulled his hand away from the doors and turned back around to her. He placed his hands softly on her shoulders and smiles softly as he spoke just as softly.
"I'm not going anywhere without you love. Deity needs all the support he can get, but he isn't getting mine without yours too. You and I are a union now and we shall do things together like a husband and wife should."
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer and into his body kissing the top of her head softly taking in her scent. Something he has missed greatly::

Sighing inwardly the mage grasped the bridge of nose closing her eyes in frustration. Spinning out of his embrace she leaned into him her head resting against his chest.
"Sweetie...did you not see that line of spectators? Deity will not miss my presence for a moment. I know you really want to head out there. Go on ahead without me."
Stepping back from him, she placed her hands on his shoulders.
"So go on...I will follow. Remember, I can't fly. I'll portal in when things settle."
That was a lie, but she was not yet entirely comfortable with transforming into one of her draconic states. Spinning around him she placed her hands against the small of his back and playfully began pushing him toward the exit.
"I'm not mad if that's what your worried about."

::The quiet Orinian relaxed his senses as he flew a short distance behind his brother, picking up the energy signatures of everyone that had decided to follow behind them. The silver-haired stranger was the first, oddly, followed by Jade, which was no surprise. Keno travelled alongside her, which was a bit of a surprise. Deity couldn't imagine the tiger being interested in the outcome of the duel - so his reasoning had to lie elsewhere. It wasn't very far fetched to believe that Keno was simply there to try and comfort Jade - an insensitive a** though he might have made out of himself as of recently, he still had a place in his heart for the young woman. Considering the situation, if that was his intention then Deity was grateful. Otherwise he was still an a**.
As the two brothers and the mammoth Saiya-jin tore across the sky, Deity picked up another familair energy. This one was ahead of them however, and not closing in as rapidly as the stationary environment below. Keeping an eye out, he eventually saw the figure as it steadily fell behind them, riding in a crescent-shaped bike that hovered over the ground. It was rather fast for a vehicle, but - even sticking to large open spaces to avoid obstacles - wasn't quite as quick as the airborne fighters were.
The man on the bike usually went by the name Angel, short for Angellus. Unlike many of the Orion patrons, he actually had a computerized sensor program to detect energy fluctuations, as opposed to a learned spiritual technique. The fact that he was going top speed in the same direction as Taliman indicated he likely got wind of the tyrant's presence via those sensors and decided to intercept. More support never hurt anyone, Deity thought to himself with an uneasy smile. I just hope nobody does anything stupid.
He said or did nothing out of the ordinary as they moved across the planet, keeping his arms to his sides as his coat flailed crazily behind him. The climate changes weren't as easy to detect as they might have been if they were lower, or had been going slower. At this speed it was all the same: cold and windy. The only differences were the rapid changes in how much sunlight was hitting them due to the varying cloud formations - though the nearby star never moved. It stayed nestled upon the horizon, rising only slightly as Deity followed a slight Western deviation on Taliman's part.
They were headed for the Southwest United States from the looks of things; Deity knew there was a long stretch of desert there, so he quickly gathered that this was the location. Though exactly where was up to Tali to point out - assuming he had already decided.::

::Unks looked at his wife with a upset look. He then looked toward the door she was pushing him at. He turned to face her and kissed her softly on the lips. He hugged her tightly and turned to the door once more.
"Well alright love if you say so. Everyone has a pretty good lead on me. I hope I don't use to much energy to catch up to them. I'll see you soon!"
He took for for the door at a quick run he used his telepathy to open the doors and shut behind him. He then broke into a faster run, as he ran his energy spiked up greatly a heavy aura surrounding his body. He kicked off the ground and tried to catch up to the others as fast as he could::
"Please don't let it be over before I get there!"

Standing at the threshold of the doorway the mage watched her husband disappear into distance shrinking from a discernible form into a tiny speck.
Sighing inwardly she clasped her hands behind her head returning into the main corridor. What was once a busy a room now stood near empty in comparison to its now stoic settings. Glancing toward Kenta and Christiana, she pursed her lips.
"I'm surprised you two didn't head off with the others..."
Furrowing her eyebrows, she sucked on her tongue.
"I take it you two can't fly as well?"

For his part, the young kitsune watched most everything happen with little interference. He nodded to his Ba chan at the appropriate time, smiling tenderly of course, but with a look that suggested he had some understanding of the adult world. The stranger and Tama had taken off as well, and from what he felt, even his father went out, seemingly to accompany Ba chan and nothing else. Having nothing to really say about any of that, he overheard the Briefs light bickering, which was easier to do with more than half the visitors now gone; Merena and her kids, Miss Pith, and Kenta and Chris were the only two to stay.
As Miss Pith returned from the door, his ears perked at the sound of her addressing him, which was unnecessary as he was looking right at her. He would have pondered her statement had he the time, but her assumption was a nice way to get into a bit of conversation; otherwise the remaining guests could stand around awkwardly until their feet got tired. Then they would sit around awkwardly.
"No, I can fly. I could carry Chris too if she wanted to go, but I already know the story. Maybe seeing and hearing aren't the same, but being there won't change the outcome unless I interfere, and even then, I doubt much would be different." He didn't mean for it to sound as grim as it did, but truth was truth. Even in this time, he wasn't nearly as strong as either of his uncle figures, and even if he were, a soul eating sword heavily tipped the scales.
"Why is this so important to everyone anyway," he asked Miss Pith innocently. "I was told about the duel, but hearing 'I was there,' and seeing how everyone got there - and knowing why I suppose - are completely different. Why is everyone actively not getting involved?" He asked it in the only way he could think to describe it. His uncles were supposed to be fighting to the death, and anyone who tried to interfere, even if they managed to get by the bodyguard, would probably just end up dead. Insofar as he could tell, no one had any intention of getting involved, and yet everyone was compelled to be there; almost as though they thought their presence was the only thing that would validate the significance of the fight. Maybe that was the way of things, but it made little sense to Kenta, even though that failure in logic was the very thing that made very interesting stories for him in his youth.

Large, smooth, bat-like wings spanned over 20 feet in the light of dusk, piercing the air at a rather low elevation. Gliding smoothly, slowly, Kythe traveled east-northeast, a few meters over the shining surface of the Pacific. He allowed himself to descend further, parallel to the sparkling great blue below, just a few feet above--close enough to dip his fingers into the cool liquid--which he subsequently did, cupping some of the calming substance in his palms for a moment. This he enjoyed. Very much.
After arching upwards and performing a few powerful wing-strokes, Kythe would return to an atmosphere above that of the local weather, savoring the experience of dousing his face in the water and running his ocean-dipped fingers up his face, over his forehead, back through his hair. Despite the saturation, his short hair continued to flail wildly above his eyes, and the cool liquid running down his scalp and to his neck was a feeling both craved and welcome. Basking in this momentary glow, his dark, wind-assaulted clothing and unwavering wings glowing with the crimson-gold tint of the sun, Kythe takes joy in the
A long, relaxing trip. Soothing. Rejuvenating. This was the plan, at least. One thing in particular had mostly ruined said plan, but it was probably better that it had happened; 'Can't relax too much,' Kythe thought for a moment. 'Can't drop the guard. Of all, you ought understand.' And oh, understand he did. He wouldn't make the mistake again for at least another century. 'Harsh reminder' would be an understatement. At least his wounds had healed; hopefully, leaving Japan and heading to that old, frosty spot in Canada would serve to calm his nerves.
Increasing height and speed, Kythe would notice a veritable mixed-salad of separate life energy sources, all moving quickly and in the same direction--most vaguely familiar, a few more sharply pulling on memory, and numerous absolutely foreign--hundreds of miles to his right. Peculiar. Most intriguing, though, would be the presence of the stoic and wolfish one hear the head of the crew--not only his actual presence, but indeed, his presence in a crowd, and at that, so very far from home.
'... Interesting? Yeah, probably. More curiosity-teasing than most anything I've encountered in a few decades? Definitely. Any of my damn business? Extremely unlikely. At the moment, however, and easily the most important factor: Relaxing? We're going to assume that's a nice, large, hell no, and be on our way.'
Resolving to seek calm in the snowy depths of that particular northern forest, Kythe continues on his path towards the grand tower.
[[ Okay, so... I know I haven't been here in practically forever, but I just feel a need not to miss out on this. Which I find odd, as I doubt I'll actually be 'doing' much at all. If I'm not back to continue posting soon-like after any responses, I apologize. ]]

Strange, how a fight like this, which involved no one but the two brothers, drew everyone out of the woodwork to watch it. Not even participate, since none of them could, but just to watch. Jade's presence was understandable; she was, after all, dating one of the fighters. But everyone else, seemed either interested in the bloodshed, or was there to support her.
Perhaps witnessing it, and hearing about it were two different things. After all, no one had ever really seen Deity, or Taliman, go all out before. Maybe it was just curiosity. But the fact that some were going in order to give her personal support, even though Deity was fighting, brought mixed reactions. As much as she appreciated the gesture, did they not think she'd be able to handle watching the fight on her own? It was bad enough that she practically had to be rescued from incidents not her own making, but now she couldn't even watch a fight without having to be protected? Needless to say, this whole 'princess in distress' act was getting old.
WHen Keno came up behind her, she ignored him for the most part. Unless he did something to try and stop her, Jade practically pretended he wasn't even there. The girl knew he was only coming for her sake, that a small part of him still cared about how she felt, and wasn't a preaching p***k at times. Such was indicated by feeling of his fingers ruffling her windblown hair and gently scratching her head. Well, at least he was here. In return, all she gave him was a small smile in his direction as he flew at her side.
The group of spectators was growing. The stranger was still in the lead, with Jade and Keno a close second, and Tama on the ground. Unks was joining in the back of the pack now, and likely more were to come. This was a one-time fight years in the making; not many wanted to miss it. Jade kept following the three significant energies in the lead, until a fourth popped up, and was slowly moving backwards towards them. They were catching up on someone headed the same way.
Soon, the object and rider came into her sights, and Jade recognized all to well the bike and figure of Jake Angellus Charade, aka. Angel. Without warning, Jade suddenly slowed her speed and dropped down to his right, catching up to the hunter and slowing down enough so that they flew side-by-side. She knew he knew of the situation, but he hadn't been at the Club a few moments ago. Might as well get him up to speed.
"Angel." Jade called to him, even though she knew it wasn't necessary. His sensors would have picked up her approach long ago. "Taliman is leading Deity to a place for their fight. Likely so no innocent people get hurt. Anybody else coming is just so they can watch."
To think at one time, this man had hunted Deity. Now though, they worked together on somethings, and while Jade had originally balked at the idea (he had used her as bait to blast Deity's head off once, after all), she had eventually let it go and forgiven him for the most part. Who knows, she might need his help some day too, like he helped Deity.
"I'll see you there." Any other time, she would have flown by, or ridden with him, but with Deity's life on the line, Jade wanted to be one of the first there. Angels bike, while supersonic by Earthling standards, was still slow compared to the speed of flight. "You really should take flying lessons into consideration." She smiled at him a little, before speeding back up again and gaining altitude once more. They were almost there, and she wanted to be ready.

Nodding a smirk formed on the mage's lips. With a wave of her hand she summoned forth her staff in a crackle of static. Leaning on the wooden rod she gained a pensive expression.
"You know...That's a question I've been asking myself. I surmise they feel as though by being present their support will lend their friend strength against an over arching threat. "
With this said her expression soured.
"I personally find much of this a spectacle. In a anger Deity challenged his brother to a duel to the death and yet everyone is treating this like it is the biggest surprise. Its not as if Taliman instigated a threat to everyone in the club. Yet everyone seems to take it as an affront to their very being."
Relaxing her posture she sighed.
"I feels as though I am isolated in my views on this. Even Unks seems to be caught up in all of this. Makes me feel as though I'm an outsider for not feeling gung ho in my support."

"I think my father probably agrees with you," Kenta said in a reflective tone as his eyes turned inward and searched his past. "His stories won't have much feeling when he tells them. I don't think it was one of those things he cared about. He probably didn't go for the sake of seeing it; he even told me his impression of Deity around this time was neither high nor low. Almost as though he were disillusioned, but chose not to dwell on it."
The poor boy looked thoroughly troubled as he tried to make sense of it. What he didn't say out loud was that Keno had only really bothered to mention Deity to Kenta- and Taliman too for that matter - and left it at that for the most part. Deity wasn't a hero. Taliman wasn't a villain. Not to Kenta anyway. Maybe that was why he got along so well with his aunts without feeling particularly affectionate or familiar with his uncles. Even in his youth, his free will was steered in a certain direction. Was that intentional or was it simply the result of a child mirroring the affections of the parent?
"How long has he been acting like this, anyway," he asked coming back out of himself. "He met with Chris a couple of weeks ago. From what I can tell he's agitated about something and being noticeably harsh on everyone he speaks with. Did something happen?"

Crossing her arms over her chest she wrinkled her brow.
"I can't say exactly when he started acting this way. I remember him being considerably more social when I first started frequenting the club. Then again there were considerably more club goers at that time as well."
Realizing she was deviating from his questioning she took a deep breath.
"If my memory serves me correctly, there was a stretch of time where there was a mass psychosis some of the more powerful club goers were going through. Deity transformed into a horrible being known as Fierce. Your father went on a brutal rampage himself. Ironically that was around the time he seemed to get together with your mother."
Nodding at this memory she seemed stared off into space losing herself in her thoughts.
"After all that he seemed to draw into himself. It seems as though he wishes to atone for what has done by secluding himself from everyone."
