::Deity found himself at the outside of the bar, his butt leaned against the edge of the polished counter and his arms folded under his chest as he passed an ongoing glance around the main room of his home. He had an air of nostalgia as he looked about, almost as if he were absorbing the ambience for the very first time all over again. Kaen had told him over the last week that he had left her with the intent to build the Orion, to make a permanent home so that he wouldn't need to wander the planet any longer. It was during said construction that he outright forgot Kaen altogether, but that was another story. Having put the tower together with his own two hands, he felt that no other place existed that could ever be more of a home than Club Orion. Seeing people gathering at this time warmed him somewhat.

Anyone watching would quickly realize that even as Deity's hidden gaze passed them he wasn't actually stopping to focus on them - his eyes were just mulling about. No, he didn't appear to be very attentive until it appeared. A singularly massive powe-- no two...three powers, all just outside. The tall boy quickly broke himself from his contemplative trance and turned around as though staring through the wall. A quick examination of the three entities. One of the signatures was obviously his brother - another was someone else, he couldn't be sure who - the last dark entity wasn't a person, but Deity knew it all too well. Jade did, too. This would probably be the first time in quite a while that he would willingly chase after such a power.

He pushed himself from the bar and let his arms loose, turning to face the rest of the room - his eyes more directly stopped on his love as he flashed the briefest look of nervous urgency. Not in a positive or negative mood so much as a neutral one. "This is it; here I go," his face said, even with his eyes hidden. It was the tension in his body releasing itself that spoke the silent words, his legs carrying him swiftly for the door to greet his inexplicably late opponent.::

Fashionably late, he would say. Well, anyone would say. What other reason would the Emperor of Orion have to be late for something as important as this? He arrived on planet Earth in not at all an overdramatic fashion, just showing up out of thin air as he often did. He had an air space shuttle that he could use for personal travel, but Earth was quite a distance from Orion and it wasn't worth the fuel expenditure. Copying the art of Shunkido from his brother so many years ago had proven itself useful hundreds of times over.

Fashionably late was a spot-on assessment. Taliman had clearly spared no expense on his wardrobe for this occasion, presenting to those spectating a comfortable blend of efficiency and flair. His top was simple enough. It was a modified gi of a red shade that matched his hair. The v-neck descended to the center of his chest and the collar rose like an opened turtleneck sweater, framing his sturdy neck. Sewn into the left shoulder of the top was a durable yet soft draping sleeve that fell just barely past Tali's hand. It was of an earthy shade of burnt sienna, but embroidered into the outside of the sleeve was Wesley's imperial logo, featuring two zigzag-like markings surrounding a small diamond shape. The Emperor's hands were snugly fit into two leather gloves that matched the embroidered drape.

His waist was bound by a thick sash that matched his left sleeve and measured a few inches from top to bottom, starting from his navel. The gi split into short coattails just below the sash, allowing his tail passage. Wesley wore long, burnt sienna baggy pants made from the same material as his sleeve, maintaining flexibility; matching boots sported slightly elevated heels and no visible laces. Draped across his left leg and belted onto him was a thick leathery loincloth which matched the bloody shade of his gi; one belt of dark umber held it onto his waist, while another arced from his left hip all the way over his right shoulder and back down to keep it up. Crossing paths with this strap was another, which ran perpendicularly from under his right arm to his left shoulder, where a burnt umber imperial armored plate guarded his shoulder just above the draping sleeve. Perhaps only for show.

The purpose of the half-loincloth was to hold up the tyrant's scabbard, which hanged from the back of his waist a good distance, behind his thighs; his tail separated them but somehow didn't seem too constricted. The pocket-like sheath was belted onto the back of the leathery drape and around the front of Tali's hips. Inside of this scabbard was none other than the evil sword Taliman had claimed some years ago, the demonic blade of legend, Shinorei. The vile presence of the weapon would be readily noticed by anyone within the towering building as it's uniquely palpable sense of dread filled the chilled evening air. A perversion of nature was this blade; how Wesley managed to cope alongside it for so long could baffle anyone. The heavy beast of a weapon hung at a low angle below the redhead's hips, looking about as big as he was and quite possibly even weightier.

Speaking of weighty.

The Orinian monarch did not come to Earth alone with just his weapon. If he was to be battling his brother, he knew the Earthlings would be hard pressed to sit by quietly and watch. The master of the universe as he was, even Taliman couldn't be certain of victory if he needed to face more than just Tybron. Enter Cado. The giant Saiyajin stood just to Wesley's right, towering over his master at just past eight feet in height. He wore his typical garb (see profile) and his typical expression, staring blankly forward without an inkling of question in his eyes. If anyone could keep interference from this duel, it was this man.

The two men stood some distance away from the club upon the cobblestone path, looking up at the tower. Tali rested his hand gently on the raised hilt of Shinorei as he looked on, crimson tresses fluttering gently across his complexion in a silent breeze. His single blue eye fell to the entrance of the building, where he saw one solitary creature separating him from entry. He didn't necessarily need to enter anyway, but said imposing creature appeared to have that purpose given his placement.

Nearly in unison the two men approached the building along the given path. Taliman stopped just a little way before the large dark figure, who he recognized from the week before. He didn't know much about this man or what his association with Tybron was. Rather than make any presumptions on that matter he simply rose his left hand and, with a flick of his fingertips, gave a nonchalant wave from his temple. Tybron had no doubt felt his presence and would be out in a matter of moments; perhaps this man could speak his mind or get out of the way by that time.

Merena Smiled back at Pith, "Yes, they are my pride and joy, even if they are little rascals" and she grinned down at her children, who were behaving pretty well for a new situation.

Vincent smiled broadly and continued on cheerfully, "We big kids now!" Shaina piped up with "yes we are!" and they both giggled. then in unison they said "we like you Auntie Pith!" and hugged her legs.

Merena then replied to Pith's question, "three years actually. I apologize for not being able to attend the wedding, there was just so much work to do and I haven't really had a break until now. Although thats probably because i threatened them all if I didnt get some alone time, especially with the kids haha." But then her mood darkened as she focused on the other half of the question. Glancing over to the kids, she mad an apparition of a dancing doll to amuse the kids, and then gently pulled Epithany a little bit away from the children. Trying to keep her annoyance and anger over Caine she said softly to the other woman, "I know not of that man or what he does anymore. Frankly, I don't give a damn. But as a word of caution, don't mention it to the babes. They have no idea they have a father, and I'm not even sure if they realize they're missing a father figure. It's easiest to ignore him." She then sighed deeply.

Then, she felt something weird, and the children turned to her, their interest in the apparition done. "Mommy my tummy hurts" Vincent said with a sad scrunched up face, and went quickly to her leg, his tail curling around it. Shaina tried flying up to her mother's arms, but got as far as a knee, and then fell back down just to hold on as well saying, "Me too mommy"

Merena looked around the room curiously. Something was going on... true it was unusual to come to Orion and find THIS many people. Lids closed over red orbs and she thought back a bit. Why was she here today of all days? Why this day to get away from the palace. She kneeled down and looked down at her children, then gave them kisses on the cheek. "My dears, everything is going to be alright, do you want some gummies?" They both nodded, and then two package of gummy treats appeared in front of each child, which they grabbed at eagerly. Still kneeling, she stared deep into each child's eyes. Didn't they say they wanted to get out of the palace? Was it possible for them to know something this big was to happen unconsciously when their mother did not? She ruffled both of their heads, making Shaina make a face, for she didn't like her hair moved like that.

Standing back up She looked back at Epithany. "I think I'm missing something here..." Knowing the Orion it was probably a fight, but how big was this? She hoped Caine wouldn't arrive....

Returning the children's hugs she smiled glancing up at their mother.

"I can see that's the truth. I can see how your face light up around them."

Returning to her full height the mage nodded at the woman's explanation of her absence to Unks and her nuptials.

"No worries. I have an inkling of your position to your people. Thankfully they've allowed you a reprieve or I would never get to see you or your little ones's."

Noticing Merena expression darken the mage tilted her head as mother provided a distraction for the twins. Being drawn aside she listened intently the woman's answer to her other question.

Running her hand through her hair Epithany sighed acknowledging her friends bitter words. Swallowing the lump in her throat the mage simply rested her hand the princess's shoulder.

"I'm sorry Merena...It seems once again I put my foot in my mouth."

Sighing she gazed past the mother's shoulder to her two young ones.

"You've done an excellent job despite the absence..."

Furrowing her brow, the presence of the evenings "guest of honor" was readily known. Turning to face the small statured tyrant the mage's brow furrowed. The sound of Vincents's voice broke her look of consternation. Apparently the children were already gifted with the ability of energy detection. Blinking at Merena's question the mage ran her hand underneath her head wrap to her hair.

"The nights events seem to have begun..."

Jade smiled sweetly at Chrissy, hoping to put the girl at ease a bit more. It was not an easy task, as Jade was on high tensions already, and only getting worse as time drew on.

When Kenta spoke again, she was drawn away from the path her thoughts threatened to take her down. "We've met before, but it was quite a while ago. I'm afraid to say I haven't seen her much since, but I hope that will change."

She laughed a little when her future nephew told her of Deity's reaction. Not surprising, no matter how many times she mentioned it, something would always slip the Tonepian's mind. Had he forgotten that Kenta was Keno's future son, and that Jade still considered Keno her brother? That would make him the uncle, since they were a couple.

"Don't worry too much about Deity, Kenta-kun, his memory is crap, for the most part. But, I think a dinner would be a wonderful idea." She suddenly felt like a mother, who's son was introducing his girlfriend. Which, basically was the situation, except she was his aunt, in the past, and they were almost the same age. Weird.

It was then that the reason for all the tension arrived suddenly and without warning outside the club. Jade visibly stiffened, looking at the same wall Deity was. About time, waiting was a b***h. But there wasn't just one; no, there were three. Taliman himself, his meatwall of a bodyguard that had taken User apart, and......

The girl gulped heavily at the presence of Shinorei with the Emperor. Oh, how she loathed that blade. Deity could wield it, but carefully; Jade couldn't even touch the thing. Perhaps if she had proper training with Seinorei, she'd be a match against Taliman and Shinorei. Maybe.

Her eyes caught Deity's as he scanned the room, and held them for a moment. Then he turned, and headed to greet his brother at the door.

"......it's finally happening..."

Jade's voice was a bit choked, nervous and tense with the battle and unknown outcome to come.

Samayou watched the realms seem too split as forth from the snowy wind came Taliman. The Black Devil also caught the sight of the much larger man who towered a good head or two over Sama but it was not about size, Sama was the animal after all. He gave a slight smirk at the big fella before turning back to the Emperor. In the week he had Sama’s agents had gathered much on Tali, hell the man was not exactly a vault with his secrets he practically flaunted himself around like he was precious to all known worlds.

The beastly Devil glanced at the wave of the hand and smirked, Tali may be Emperor where he came from but even in the Abyss this Devil bowed to no one and served no hand gestures except with one of his own and that was normally a middle finger followed by a right hook. However on this particular day a greeting would suffice more then a violent act, it was what Deity wanted after all.

“Cold day isn’t it, hope you dressed warm enough. Taliman right, we have never properly been introduced but after what Jade has told me I don’t think it matters.”

The Devil glanced back and forth between Tali and his friend but it seemed both where what he expected, no surprises there Tali had always been straight forward. Sama did not move because he had no reason too, the fight was not gonna take place inside Orion it was going to take place outside so thus Sama stood by the door like he had been. After all Sama was waiting for Deity, Sama made a promise after all.

“One last thing before Deity comes. You can do whatever you like too the boy, its between you two and just as he won’t let anyone interfere.”

Sama tossed a nodding gesture towards the bigger man of the three.

“Nor will I, however I made a promise to Jade that she would get her Love back in one piece. I am not a being who breaks promises so try not to kill him would you. Prove your point if need be and show him and the rest of the world which of the two of you is stronger but leave him too his family alive.”

With that the Devil had no more words too say, his lines where drawn and clear as day. Taliman could beat Deity with in an inch of his life but anything after that was wrong and they both knew it. This was a fight to prove who the better fighter and man was, not the better killer.

Wesley patiently stared up at the man as he spoke, a dubious smirk on his face. Anybody could tell that he was having a difficult time taking this person seriously. The big Saiyajin on the other hand made no acknowledgment of Tamashii's words, looks or nods. The man at the door might as well have not been there as far as Cado was concerned.

Taliman found the brief commentary laughable. It was amusing to watch a total stranger assume what this fight meant to the Orinian ruler, and what the two brothers were fighting about. Tamashii requested that he spare Tybron's life. Or what? He was hardly in a position to establish a threat, and this was heard in Tali's casual response.

"I appreciate your candor," he said,"and I have no doubt that you have your reasons." His hip drifted gently to the right as his weight shifted from one leg to the other. "But you're just out of your depth on this one. Don't make promises that you've no way to keep."

He arced one brow up at the man before him, a thin line of vapor rising from his nostrils as he exhaled. The devil directly stated that he would keep out of the Wesleys' affairs. What he indirectly stated was that he would happily butt into their affairs if Taliman did not obey his wishes. Having long since left a position in which he needed to take orders and having no inclination to do this man a favor, the Emperor needed no time at all to reach his decision of gleeful disobediance.

"I'm afraid the monkey woman will simply have to live with disappointment," he remarked with a sly grin, at that time sensing the approach of his brother beyond. Taliman waited, eager to see what might have changed over the last week; Cado as before only stood close by, nearly motionless. Despite his thinly-defined attire he didn't appear to be very cold.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 09, 2009 3:03 pm

Samayou expected as much and with no real care he shrugged. Tali was free to do what he wished Samayou was simply requesting a favor, a favor Taliman seemed gleeful to deny.

"Before this day is out we will find out who is a Warrior and who is a Coward."

Samayou felt the presence of Deity coming fast and closed his conversation with Taliman then. Indirectly Samayou said nothing he meant what he said. He would not let anyone interfer with this fight for Deity had to fight his own battles. Even if Taliman was to kill Deity Samayou would not interfer, Deity had taken on this action and would pay the price for it if need be.

Little known to Tali Sama would get his wish both ways, if Taliman did not kill him then Jade would be happy and if Taliman did.....

Jade would get her Deity back...even if Samayou had to go back down into the depths of the Abyss and drag Deity back. That was how much her friendship meant to the Black Devil.

Chrissy smiled childishly at Jade gnawing subconsciously on her bottom lip to discharge all her nervous energy. At least the woman was a familiar face and a beautiful one at that. Jade had been very nice when they initially met so Chrissy had an easier time being in the crowded room. her grip on Kenta's arm relaxed slightly because of it. "I-It's...n-nice to see you again Jade-san," she muttered quietly her smile growing slightly. After that, however, Kenta went on to discuss something that Chrissy wasn't exactly familiar with. She was used to conversation that didn't include her, but it also gave her a chance to recognize the tension filling the room. Her vectors squirmed uncomfortabley within her, and even Astraea was extra wary within the confines of Chrissy's mind. Something was going to happen at Orion. Her stomach swirled nauseatingly. She was probably being silly. No reason to get upset about nothing.

If only it was nothing.

When the diclonius dropped her gaze back to Jade, she had a feeling fo crying. The strong woman appeared absolutely horror stricken, and it made Chrissy's vectors fight to free themselves to protect their mistress. Chrissy held them back. She followed Jade's reaction and swallowed a large lump in her throat. Something very powerful was waiting outside otherwise her vectors wouldn't be reacting so violently. Chrissy tugged gently on Kenta's sleeve her eye srefusing to face the door where the powerful entity awaited. Instead, she shuddered fearfully. "K-Kenta...s-s-something...s-scary..." Chrissy whimpered and buried her face into his arm. She was such a baby. A cold chill flew up her spine causing her to shudder again. What was going to happen?!

Kenta drew Chris closer to his chest and wrapped his free arm around comfortingly. On his face was neither dawning horror nor struggling tension. Instead he seemed to be putting things together, when in truth he was remembering what had happened a week ago. He would have said, 'Oh yeah!' out loud if he thought it was appropriate, but he didn't want to upset anyone by not paying the situation the proper amount of respect.

Tali's presence, combined with Deity and Ba chan's discomfort reminded him that he had visited last week during the event in which Kaen san reunited with Deity to warn him to steer clear of Tali. Ironically, Tali, who had shown up and thrown everything into disarray, seemed to be exactly the person Deity was waiting for, because no sooner had the shorter Wesley arrived than the taller one came down to confront him for what had happened to User. Kenta heard different interpretations on the User event, and didn't care much how what happened, but it meant he didn't really know whether he condoned Deity's behavior from the other day or not. Either way, the Wesleys had agreed to a duel and now the time had come for them both to confront whatever fate lay before them.

Kenta's ears dropped, and his tail hung limp behind him, but all he really did in response to the tension and Tali's arrival was sigh and bury his face in the hair at the top of Chris' head. He wasn't afraid of or upset with what was going to happen. Part of that might have had to do with knowing the story, or maybe he had learned not to get too invested in things that didn't involve him; like his father. Chances were it the was former over the latter.

"It's okay," he whispered into her hair, his warm breath radiating to her scalp. He'd have liked to say something else, but she had more common sense than to be told what to do to avoid making a scary moment scarier. Rather than speak, he just continued to hold her, letting his calm attitude assure her that there was nothing to be worried about. After all, what good would there come from him joining in on the panic?

His eyes passed to the silver haired stranger, who hadn't said anything or encountered anyone since everyone moved into the club. Was he able to sense Tali the way (almost) everyone could, or was he totally oblivious right now? Would he know not to interfere or would he end up with a giant evil sword sticking through his chest?
