(Sorry it took so long. x.x Sorry for the bad post too. Dx )

Her hand fingered the cell phone tentatively while she stood in front of Orion. The sun blazed as it closed in on the horizon to the west causing deep, haunting shadows to surround Christiania making the scene all the more unnerving for the eighteen year old. Her sparkling teeth bit down on her bottom lip while she stared at the lighted screen. Kenta's name was glowing adjacent to the words "Meet me in Orion." Chrissy was still healing from the vehement...conversation she had with Keno only a few days earlier. Going back to the place where he lived when he was around seemed...like she was throwing it all right back at him. Then again she had always been overly emotional. Maybe he had forgotten all about it?

She hoped so.

She inhaled deeply flipping the small device closed and slipping it into her jean pocket. Alright. Using her free hand she pushed away a few straying sea green locks away from her face as the large, castle-like doors opened seemingly by themselves. This strange action did not appear to bother her as she quietly stepped through the small crack in the door. Her lithe body made soundless movements and it was only when she got into the main room did the miniscule amount of confidence she had in herself dwindle.

W-Who?

Chrissy's large eyes swtiched from stranger to stranger until she noticed the gentle movement of a tail that she was all too familiar with. A small twinkle erupted in her worried eye and a smile followed. Her heart flickered just as it always did. "H-Hi Kenta..." she whispered unable to move any closer. She didn't know the others as she rarely conversed with anyone but Keno while she stayed at Orion. The faces didn't match names so she kept a cautious distance. Her eyes flew away from Kenta desperately searching for another familiar face anything to ease the awkward tension in her stomach. "U-U-Uhmm..."

Another approached from almost the same direction that the fallen star had come from. As it seemed, he was in the company of the good guys. Aside from the larger figure's questioning on who he was, the group seemed to be - if at the very least - civil, they were friendly. While one's mannerisms may not have been entirely politically correct, he knew that he had meant no harm. Given the apparent situation of the quickly falling night, he had every right to be wary of somebody he didn't know approaching. As the other newcomer introduced himself, the young man felt the urge to do the same, but found himself at a loss to do so. He cocked his head slightly in curiosity as he saw the other boy's feline ears perched atop his head. And a tail. He smiled at the only thought that could cross his mind on the different appendages of the other boy. Cute. That one's name was Kenta. Shortly after, he heard the taller boy of the group announce his name. Deity. That made him pause for a moment. A God? Self-given name or no, the vibe he had gotten from this one was something extraordinary. Not to say that anyone here was any less of a man than this one, he just...Wasn't sure what to expect from any of these people. But as he watched the two men shake each other's hands, as the apparent customary greeting, and as the taller one's hand made it's way in his direction, he felt welcomed here, at the least. Extending his hand, he gripped the hand in front of him, not firmly enough to try to establish any kind of dominance, he shook it once solidly.

"I'm...Uhm..." A low sigh escaped through his nose as yet again he found himself unable to introduce himself. Not wanting to make anything less awkward than it already was for the group, he continued as if he had already given a name. "It's nice to meet you, Deity," Releasing the boy's hand, he moved it over, looked to the other who had given himself a name. With a short nod, he smiled to the boy, hand extended, continuing his sentence. "Kenta." He looked to the billowing figure, pressing his lips tightly together as yet another nod to greet him in a more proper fashion. If the behemoth of a man decided to give his name, that was fine, but if he remained silent, that was okay too. As yet another presence made it's way, he couldn't help but glance in the direction of footsteps. His eyes narrowed, almost confused as he looked on this one; a female. Something new, and something he liked. She greeted the young man with the ears and then seemed to notice she was in the presence of three complete strangers. It seemed he wasn't the only one here without a past with these people. He smiled and gave a nod to the young lady in a silent greeting.

As unsure as he was about his surroundings, who these people were, and what their relationship, a large part of him felt at ease that at this place, regardless of who he was, he would be accepted so long as he didn't do anything stupid. Not that he was enitrely positive on what the stupid thing to do actually was, but...For now, he was at ease with his current standing, and was not about to do anything to change that. What he did know, however, was that the four of them were waiting on something, and while curiosity ground itself on his mind, he knew that when the time came, he would know exactly what for. Whether it was the destruction of a life, or a resolution being made, he would make damn sure that he was prepared for anything.

“Hey Kenta how’s it going?”

Ah the young springy one of the group, or so Sama always thought so. Kenta was the young spirit who never gave up, that son any father would be proud of no matter how much of a goof ball he was. The kid was not the toughest stone on the mountain but he had more heart then most, that enough had granted him respect from the Black Devil. He greeted Kenta with nod followed by a glance towards the new guy again.

Now this guy with messy hair Sama did not know but something was familiar about him. However another also approached, female by the scent of it and she was friends of Kenta, her emotional aura was gleaming with uncomforting rays of deep gray. He did not offer his hand too anyone but simply a full name so that all those knew could understand who and what he was. The behemoth Devil glanced back and forth at the two newcomers, his tail lashing back and forth like a whip. Pointy and strong as the sun started to descend and the last rays of light bounced off his large horns.

“Samayou Tamashii.”

"Pretty well," he answered happily, the brightness of his eyes indicating his sincerity. Next, he would have said, 'And you?' but something else happened instead.

His ears twitched at the sound of his name, the familiar sound of a woman's voice calling to him. Were he a more composed lad, he'd be able to control his tail, which indicated an increased level of happiness as he turned to see Chris approaching. She didn't come up to him though, and his head cocked to the left curiously for a moment as he tried to figure out why.

Then his phone began to vibrate, which he absently removed from his left pocket and flipped open. A text message. He read it quickly and smirked at the irony. Slipping the small device back into his pocket he walked straight up to her, took her right hand in his left, and left an airbrush of a kiss on her left cheek in greeting. He then returned to the gathering of gentlemen and eyed them all separately, one after the other.

"This," he said to them, "is Christiania. Chris," he said to her, indicating Deity with his right hand, "is my uncle Deity...sort of." He didn't bother reintroducing Tama who announced himself to the entire party, which was a much better idea than having everyone shake hands, make introductions, shake more hands, and so on. Still, he did recognize the stranger all the same. "And this is a new acquaintance. Maybe he has amnesia." This last part he said suggestively with an element of inquiry to all parties present. It wasn't necessarily a big deal, but not knowing if the guy were human or something else, like the rest of them, amnesia could be a good reason to take him to see a doctor.

"Anyway, they're all nice guys," he told her reassuringly, squeezing her hand confidently for added effect, and if that wasn't enough, his smile would probably seal the deal.

::Deity paused with his lips hanging partly open as he shook the stranger's hand. There was a brief silence as he realized this person didn't know who they were - he knew that expression well. Good times, he thought to himself in reminiscence. It was no coincidence that his 'name' wasn't really a name. It was an alias that he'd used for so long that he had forgotten his name; on top of it, the name he had given himself - the one he forgot - wasn't his real name, either.

That was a moment to be lost in thought for another time, though. He released the stranger's hand with a smile and a nod, not making anything of the silence that was taking the place of a proper self-introduction. The Orinian perked up a bit and glanced sideways to Samayou as he, too introduced himself, but did so only to acknowledge that he heard it. This turn of his head attracted his attention to yet another newcomer, yet another that he didn't recognize. Thankfully this one already knew Kenta, and it was Kenta that made the introductions. Christiana, he repeated silently.

Deity was in the middle of a shallow bow to the young girl when he heard it. "Uncle." Uncle, he repeated questioningly. I'm not an uncle. Not his uncle anyway, he thought in correction. It wasn't the kitsune's obvious status as an adult that called the relation into question - Deity wasn't as young as he appeared - but rather the fact that he knew of being uncle to only one person. Taliman's daughter, Ren, was related by blood, if only thinly. Only so much of Deity's family was still alive after so many centuries, and he never had another brother nor did he know of any sisters; so where did Kenta come from?

It was after a few seconds that Deity realized he was still hunched forward in the middle of his would-be welcoming gesture with an awkward frown of contemplation on his face. Thankfully his glasses and bandana hid that rather well, so all anyone saw was a wry pursing of his lips. That and his unexplained leaning forward, which made it look like his hearing was a failure and he was waiting for a repeat of the name. He suddenly straightened out, let out a steamy sigh, and let his quiet voice sound again, this time with an air of concern in his tone.::

It's very cold out here, everyone...why don't we step inside to warm up?

::Deity motioned openly with his right hand toward the door with a half-step in that direction as he spoke. He wasn't sure how much longer he would be waiting for his brother, and didn't intend to make anyone waiting with him to freeze outside between then and the Orinian monarch's arrival.::

((Wow what a crappy post. Ah well. At least its something.))

The light crackle of static wafted through the large main corridor of the Orion. Perched behind a table the establishment's resident sat busy at work. Glowing brilliantly in the air before her hovered what appeared to be an over-sized computer keyboard formed from solidified translucent mana.

Rapidly manipulating runes represented on the "keyboard" a series of ever changing runes scrolled above the rest of the magical construct. Staring intently at the runar representation she had been preparing a number of fail-safes to prevent any lasting damage to the area the two Orinian brothers might visit upon the planet. Coordinating her several surveillance spheres that had placed about the building she raised and eyebrow at the data she was receiving concerning the new comer who had so recently appeared like a meteor strike.

It was clear that this battle was going to be as well viewed event, and seemed to be drawing a significant amount of attention. Generally despite living within his walls she knew little of the proprietor of the Orion and thus felt no true inkling to protect him against the threat of brother. Thankfully it was clear that such attention would likely be deterred.

Glancing up from the runar console her gaze rested upon the large doors. They would be entering soon. As powerful as the console could be, beyond physical observations she was not capable to finding insight as to what was going through everyone's minds.

“I agree lets move this little festival inside.”

Sama would walk towards the door but refrain from entering just yet…cold…for him…not a chance in hell. Sama was born of the mountain he could survive -50 butt naked but his actions would hopefully usher the others inside so Sama could think for a moment in peace. He wanted Deity inside with his friends as long as possible and the black Devil would remain outside as eyes too see Taliman coming. Perhaps get a word or two in to convince the other brother not to be selfish but as futile as his attempts may be he still had to try.

For Jade Sama would put his life on the line no matter what it was, too save Deity, Kenta, Keno, anyone here…they were his family. He had spent too long fighting his own selfish battles to focus on the ones that mattered. He would by no means try to stop Taliman or his rampage, THAT responsible was in the hands of Deity.

((Tama....remember, we're on Earth, not Gaia. So we'd be your Earth family. > >; *finally gets to working on a post.*
And yay! Pith has returned! *hugs Pithpith*))

Vrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The droning sound faded, as the vacuum cleaner was shut down. Jade placed it upright, and wiped at her brow a bit. A red bandana kept her short black hair from her face, and much of the sweat from her eyes. She currently had on only a sport bra, shorts, and socks besides the wrap on her head. The vacuum was running hot. Understandable, since this was the third time she had run it in the room at the top of the tower.

The rug was clean, the bathroom shined, the windows were as clear as when they were first put in. Everything was polished and put away. It almost looked like no one even lived in the room at that moment.

The girl had never been good at waiting for anything. Waiting for the inevitable battle between her love and his brother was no exception. She had to keep busy, or else lose the fragile control she currently had over her emotions. It'd been a rough week. Between trying to plan with Deity and his father, getting taken hostage against Keno, learning more about Kaen's relationship with the Tonepian, being three days without him and then spending the previous day with just him; needless to say it'd been an emotional roller coaster.

"We'll have the day after tomorrow, Love."

He'd said it a lot yesterday. And now the 'day after tomorrow' was just 'tomorrow'. And as much as she wanted to believe it to be true, to have no doubts that tomorrow he'd still be there with her, having a slightly pessimistic, and all to realistic alter-ego wouldn't allow her to be naive.

"Oh just hush already." She spoke to no one in particular, though any who knew the girl's mental situation, would understand. There was silence for a moment, before she let out a heavy sigh of frustration. "Yes, I heard you before. I heard you the first hundred times you said it. But I don't want to think about it, alright?"

Jade grumbled slightly under her breath as she pulled the vacuum along behind her, tucking it out of sight in the closet. Deity was still outside on the roof above, waiting. She couldn't join him, it would be too hard to stay in control of herself. Waiting for the battle to begin was going to be worse than the actual battle, she thought to herself as she stepped into the bathroom to clean up.

A short while later, the Saiya-jin emerged, freshly showered and dressed. Her former clothes were tossed into a hamper with the rest. Her black hair was wild and still a bit damp, but uncovered now. A black long sleeved shirt, which looked more like a tank top with sleeves sewn on, as her shoulders were exposed and the fabric only attached under her arms. It was long, and covered the top of her jeans which were well-worn and ripped at the knees. The heels were torn as well, and the fabric bunched up around her boots. She reached up and put her locked back around her neck, pausing and letting her hand linger for a moment on the scratched gold piece. Then with a deep breath, she turned to the elevator.

It seemed that Deity was no longer alone, and a quick read of energies told her that a crowd was gathering. Word had spread about the showdown. Whether this was good or not, Jade didn't know. She couldn't hide up in their room any longer, however. Unless she wanted to clean for a fourth time.

The elevator whirled to life when she pressed the call button, waiting for the doors to open. Deity. Kenta. Chrissy. Samayou. Epithany. And a stranger she didn't recognize. A larger group than the Club had seen in a while. And she was reminded once again that the group might lessen by one, much to her internal dismay. Still, Jade hid it as she stepped into the pod, and began the decent down the nineteen floors between her room with Deity, and the main room on the bottom.

Once the doors opened again, the first person Jade saw was the mage sitting at a table. It seemed the others were outside still. "Good Evening, Miss Pith."

An offering to go inside the building was soon presented due to the stinging chill in the air, yet despite such, the celestial being felt no real need to get away from it. Truth be told, he hadn't quite noticed how cold it actually was. Again, interesting how others were bothered enough by it to take shelter, while since he landed here, he hadn't shivered once. 'Different,' He thought to himself, unsure if it was a bad thing or not. But as he thought more about it, everyone here seemed to be different in their own way. Taking one last glance to the slowly setting sun, he pressed his lips together, brows closing together while his blue eyes took in it's magnificence, suspended in the air by some unseen force. His features softened and his deep blue eyes fell to the ground as he pondered why the sight of it brought him such grief.

However, with a quick bat of his eyes, he became aware of two more presences on the inside of the tower. This place sure was popular. Lifting his eyes back up, he looked to the large man who was ushering the rest of them inside, stating that he would stay out here for a bit longer. While the fallen star wanted nothing more than to sit out here and simply stare into the horizon, he understood that this mountain of a man wanted to be alone. He looked to the man, nodded, and headed to the door. He gripped the doorknob with his right, turned, and yanked the large door open. Hand still on the knob, he backed up, leaving it ajar and holding it that way. Courtesy. Something he was somehow already familiar with. He didn't expect any thanks from the group, it was just something he felt like doing.

Once those who decided to go inside had done so, he would look into the sky again, finding himself caught in a short blissful moment before stepping into the Tower, shutting the door behind him. The sight was astounding, to put it simply. Well-lit, spacious, tables, chairs, once of which was occupied by a woman typing away at some holo-keyboard it seemed. And in the center was another young lady stepping out from an elevator. He wasn't sure if this many people was normal for this place, nor did he know how many more would be coming.

Still, despite everybody's friendly nature, past all of the smiles and greetings, handshakes and small-talk, there was a thick tension in the air, and as time went on, it was only getting worse. Still, everyone who was here was waiting on something; rather someone. He wasn't sure how to feel about the presence that had yet to make it's way here. He seemed to be in-tune with everything, which, in turn, confused him. Scared him. He remained silent, but would follow the crowd if they moved together, keeping not an intimidated distance away, but a shy one. If they all spread out, however, he wasn't exactly sure what he'd do besides stand there.

Going inside seemed like a pretty good idea, and Kenta welcomed it happily. It had not occurred to him that Deity and Tama didn't register cold the same way he did, and he wasn't sure what Chris made of it, but to him it was cold, as was obvious from his choice of clothing. The other man, whom he was trying to think up an alias for, didn't give off any impression as to whether he felt too cold, too hot, or just right. Either he didn't understand the sensation of cold or simply didn't feel it. Be that as it may, Kenta was cold, and he felt two dear presences draw nearer within the club, so he saw no reason not to go.

He passed Chris a glance and followed up after the nameless figure, who generously offered to hold the door for everyone. With an appreciative nod, the young kitsune crossed the threshold into the warmth of the club, held at bay by the light draft of the open door. It was a pleasant site to him for two women he was very fond of to already be inside, one looking relatively busy and the other smelling like soap. His eyes brightened as he made his way over, though he held himself a few paces away from Miss Pith's table.

Although he had no intention of disturbing Miss Pith - he didn't know what she was doing or how important it was - he thought it would be rude to completely pass her by and greet his aunt first on the off chance that she could spare a moment. So the alternative was to greet them both at a bit of a distance so that he could give either of them some space or fill it in with his own company.

"Good evening Miss Pith, Ba chan," he said merrily, his tail rocking back and forth as the end of it curled left and right. He hadn't exactly forgotten about the other guys, but he just wasn't as close to them as he would ever be to these ladies. He couldn't say why, though. For all intents and purposes, it would have made more sense to spend more time with the Devil at least. Why he didn't never crossed his mind.

((*hugs Jade back* Yes it has been awhile. I've been around but couldn't really find an opening to post.))

Raising her gaze from the console she turned smiling warmly at the Saiya-jin as she departed the elevator.

"Evening Jade, how are you this evening?"

Realizing the foolishness of her choice of words concerning the readily known events that were to transpire, the mage slapped a hand to her mouth at the tactlessness of the statement. Realizing she was further exacerbating the folly she lowered her hand with a sheepish grin.

"The others should be entering shortly..."

As if by voice command, at that moment the doors to the establishment slid open with the arrival of the several individuals she had been remotely monitoring.

As the crowd of people descended into the confines of the building she rose from her seat bowing her head in greeting. Acknowledging Kenta's greeting she waved towards the Kistune.

"Nice to see you again Kenta."

Returning her gaze to the flashing symbols scrolling down her console she leaned forward inadvertently giving the newcomers a resplendent view of her exposed shoulders and neckline. A sheer veil of translucent web like cloth hung loosely over a white flowing long sleeved blouse that hung only low enough to frame her exposed midriff. Lines of ever flowing mana seemed to cascade through web like pattern lending more to the animated appearance of the clothing. A matching white kilt hung across her well defined hips to just below her knees, cinched by a set of black and ox blood over skirts adorned with a number of spell component pouches. The heavy oxblood boots completed the ensemble offering a more utilitarian finish to the choice of attire.

Raising her eyebrows at the new strangers data she tilted her head. His data in particular was interesting as it appeared mana was readily being assimilated and filtered through him at an alarming rate. Whatever he was was definitely not human, or anything close to many of the organisms she witnessed within the Orion. Raising her attention to the unassuming young man she straightened her head her brow furrowing furrowing.

Realizing she was staring she once more settled down roughly atop her seat. Adjusting her glasses as to look busy it was clear she had been flustered by her advertent interest in the stranger. A mischievous grin creased on her lips as she began comparing data from prior circumstances attempting to make a correlation as to what this individual was. She had her inklings already, but she would not assume.

Rolling her shoulders she felt the muscles in her neck and lower back loosen. It was going to be an interesting night.
