Raising her eyebrows at the boy's request she smirked.

"Truthfully there's little difference between a item summoning and a portal. In the case of the portal you yourself are passing through the dimensional tear. In an item summoning you are drawing the object through the tear. In other words just change the way you think about spell and it should react in such a manner."

Drawing series of runes in the air her trademark spiraling vortex portal appeared in all its crackling glory. Fishing inside she produces a shoulder bag.

"The portals are 2 way."

Tamashii had grown bored of the sword fight and had migrated to the outside where he could be found...well...what the ******** was out in the cold in nothing but hand and feet wraps and a pair of red shorts that had yellow ritual symbols on it. His stance was a slightly stiffer modification of Muay Thai and he was kicking the side of CO with his shin? Snapping his kicks lightly against the building as not to disrupt anything on the inside and using the hard frame of the building to toughen his shins up some.

((Hey. Sorry you're bored of the fight Tama, but there've only been two posts. Kinda stuck waiting on Unks. 9 9; ))

((Sorry for the wait, I've been sick and haven't felt like posting at all.))

Konosuke narrowed his pale blue eye, watching the boy shift his position slowly. Then he dashed forwards and oddly enough, threw his sword at the samurai. And then to go an attack his obvious weak side, well, that was just rude.

Lifting his right hand, his Lotus blade caught around the curved red metal of the thrown sword, and a quick flick sent the sword asunder. It landed a fair distance away from the two combatants, skidding across the tiled floor behind him.

With a bit of a snort from his nose, the ancient samurai took one large step backwards with his left leg. He planted his foot firmly and easily twisted his body out of the way of the vertical slash. Swords ready to defend, Kono swung out his right leg, looking to take out Unks legs from under him.

(Sorry for the wait myself. I've been busy)
::Unks swore to himself when his sword was so easily flung across the ring, and knew he couldn't use his mind powers to bring it to himself it would break the main rule of the match.

Unks watched as Kono dodged and then kicked at Unks trying to knock out his balace. Unks jumped over the samurai's leg and then jumped back to where his other sword was and picked it him getting into the ready stance. He smirked over at the Samurai and signaled for him to come at him now::

{{I did the art, its my own personal modification using a lot of tricks that are simple in photoshop. I always loved Guile, his personalitly and style and his build and fighting style was the original inspiration for my character Tamahsii as well as Riddick from Puitch Black.
I have done several others they are in the siggys of some of my friends at Rock Fist.}}

Tamashii finished his little Muay Thai beat down on the wall and decided it was time to get fully dressed. He slipped on his tight dirty-dark-yellow tank top with his black jeans and combat boots. Throwing his jacket over his shoulder as the beastly man walked back into Co with commanding style as always. His height towered almost every fighter cept say a few but his build was easily one of the most massive CO had seen except perhaps Aaron.

His boots hit the ground with impressive force as he walked and yet the boards did not make a single grown, his steps silent as a graveyard. He tossed the jacket over the end of a chair and began to make his way back to the Arena to see if anyone had lost an arm yet, and not ones they never had but ones they had when they went into the ring and are now bloody stumps somewhere on the ground.

:: Her brother's touch upon her shoulder was nearly enough to start her tears anew. He was exactly the same. Exactly. She could see it, even if had forgotten. But he had questions, and she knew now was not the time for weeping and reminiscing. And her brother's query was a tough one to answer. Kaen bit her lip. This was awkward. Explaining the delicate nature of titles and honorifics to someone who wasn't Japanese, the nuances of meaning that made transliteration so very hard, always was. There was nothing she could tell him but the truth, which was a sad, sad story indeed.

Finally, in a flat, defeated tone, she whispered, ::

"No. We aren't. Not siblings in the sense you mean it. I gave you the name Niichan after we met in London, to signify what you mean to me, but... We aren't from the same mother and father, no."

:: Knowing that this disappointing reply would only up the negativity --the impatience in the room was already enormous, mostly from the red b*****d behind her-- Kaen added quickly, ::

"But you were the one who came up to me, so long ago, and recognized me. Told me who I was, why I'm still..." :: Kaen gestured at her own body, not disgustedly, :: "Why I'm still a little girl when everyone around me was growing up and dying. You said you knew it, in my scent."

:: She shook her head, pleading to him with her eyes. ::

"Can you not smell it now? We are siblings of Orion."

Kono watched as Unks jumped the great distance between the two combatants and his second sword. So, there really was no point to him throwing his sword after all. It made such little sense. And instead of taking the opportunity to strike while the samurai's back was turned to him, the boy merely waited for him.

Quite the interesting lad.

Konosuke turned around and faced Unks again with his right side. But perhaps more interesting was the fact that he sheathed his Lotus blade, holding it horizontal behind him in it's case. Sakura's blade faced the opposite direction, and one who had attended the samurai's school at least once would recognize his stance.

Battojustu.

Hasamoto crouched down real low, and in an instant, his powerful leg muscles launched him forwards towards the Saiya-jin. Within a second or so, he was in front of Unks, crouched low. Before anyone could blink, the samurai's blade was unsheathed three times faster than normal, the deadly edge swinging for the left side of Unks' torso.

::The look in Deity's eyes now could be more aptly described as overwhelmed, no longer confused. Taliman had grown angry and was about to leave, but Deity had a bone to pick with him. Whatever that phrase meant. On the other hand, this little girl really needed his attention, but he really had no clue who she was or how he could help. He didn't want to blatantly ignore her, but Taliman so rarely visited Earth these days.

The girl took a breath after clearing up the meaning of her foreign phrase, and further explained their history together. Hurried though he was, Deity took a moment to breathe in a deeper whiff. His nostrils flared as they absorbed the little girl's scent more keenly. Indeed she smells peculiar, he thought. Different from an Earthling, but also the same. His expression spoke this aloud for her, his bandana shifting about slightly with his brows as he puckered his lips in thought. He recognized her scent somewhat, but it did not bring their past to mind - he instinctively reasoned that he would recognize the smell of an Orinian creature. He didn't question her statement, of course - it did make more sense that he had forgotten a child if the child wasn't really a child to start with.

As much as he wanted to however, now was not the time to try and dig up some faded scrap of recollection. His movements as jumpy as someone dying to let out a breath they've been holding for two hours, he stood, stepped away and turned toward Taliman with a start, addressing him with an uncharacteristically raised voice.::

No! Tali, you stay right there."

::For half a second the Orinian turned and looked down to the girl with an apologetic look. She was having a hard time, but was also demonstrating bad timing. "Sorry" rang silently before his voice was heard again - merely a mutter, as per his usual, this time - still directed at Taliman.::

...Deity needs a word with you.

Excuse me?

The Emperor wasn't about to be taking orders. From some nobody. Especially not from his sorry excuse for a brother. The fact that Tybron commanded him to stay only invigorated Tali, tempting him to leave anyway in spite of the order. But now he was pissed off. If he left, he wouldn't be not pissed off until he got it out of his system. He had to stay so he could 'have a word' with the boy.

"Stay right here," he sneered,"I missed the part that explains why I must obey you."

Wesley stopped and stepped further into the room, approaching his brother. The two were separated by a drastic difference in height, nearly a foot and a half. The Emperor knew this was more misleading than it seemed. The both of them were much smarter than to think that size made any difference in a real battle. In typical conversation range of Tybron now, Tali tilted his head to look up him with an irritated thwip of his tail.

::Deity swallowed hard. It felt like he'd just downed a forty ounce steak whole. He hadn't been this close to Taliman since that day. That day when he was beaten to such a pulp that he didn't recognize who it was at the time. That sucked, he recalled. This sucks worse, he then commented. The quiet Tonepian had forgotten how uneasy he could get around his elder sibling. His brother who - out of the evilness of his heart - had decided not to kill Deity. Yet.

Straightening himself as best as he could, Deity audibly cleared his throat, his eyelids squeezing his scarlet gaze into a determined glare. His response blessedly wasn't as delayed as he felt he had made it - he thought he was going to pass out, but thankfully he spoke before Taliman grew bored with waiting.::

That would be the part where you beat Deity's friend damn near to death without any provocation.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 24, 2009 8:56 pm

"Unprovoked my foot," he quickly retorted.

The Emperor hadn't heard such a blatantly unfunny lie in years. It was now that he wished someone had been there to testify that the Saiyajin idiot struck first. Taliman and his guard were just enjoying a stroll. So to speak. Only so much enjoyment could be derived from the dump these humans called home.

"Like you care anyway. He's her friend," he snapped, throwing his arm in Jade's direction. His tone mocked Tybron's very intentions as he continued without pause,"not yours. That arrogant monkey doesn't give a s**t about you."

::Deity sank a little now, faltering in response to what Taliman said of User. He had an ingrained belief that User would forever resent him. The Orinian did at one point kill the prince, so any venom from him would be understood, justified. Try as he might to keep those concerns from his mind, it was a deed he could never live down. The best he could do was appreciate any length of time he could pass without thinking of it.

Following the motion of Tali's hand - catching a brief glimpse of his love nearby - the boy did his best to push his negative thoughts aside and return to his point.::
