Kenta didn't say anything to Kaen's statement of being able to dream the future. All things considered it wasn't necessarily strange among the company she kept, and with the current situation at hand, bewilderment would do nothing to help things along. Shock did invade the majority of his face for a moment, but that was the only reaction he offered.
Rising finally, offering Kaen a hand to help her up, he turned to see his uncle preparing to leave, clearly no longer entertained or patient enough to share space with them. Were it not for the disrespect it would imply, the young kitsune would have taken a huge sigh of relief at the mounting tension finally finding some release, but as it was, he merely watched warily for a moment, turning his attention from his uncle to his aunt.
It was an old habit of his whenever he was caught in such a situation to look to his dearest elder for some sort of guidance, whether it be a command or simple body language. More often than not, his aunt won out, or some other woman in the club he had close ties to.
He wasn't really trying to make eye contact with her though. Rather, he was watching the general form that was her, uncertainty reflecting in his eyes, his body tense though not tightly wound up. It was times like this that he hated most, and he was inwardly glad his father wasn't around to tease him about it.

( -Shuffles feet- My resolution is to start roleplaying again here. T.T Hi everyone. Missed you. ;~; )
Both delicate hands tightened their grip upon the cross-over strap of her bag while she stared at the large building she had called an off-on Home for some time now. The shakiness of her already shallow breathing revealed the anxiety and guilt she had felt the entire trip there. Christiana had contemplated not returning for weeks now, but there she was and standing there like a little child awaiting the consequences of something she did bad. She apparently had a bad habit of disappearing for weeks at a time, and then never telling anyone where she was headed. She figured no one ever expected any person to stay forever, and Chrissy was too frantic of a person to say in one place too long. She was worried people got tired of her so quickly; perhaps hiatuses would make her easier to deal with. At least that's what she always hoped.
Her large, turquoise eyes flickered up in surprise as her body lurched forward quietly slipping into the large doors that had been opened as thought by magic while she dwelled on her stupidity. The doors closed as silently as she entered but the sharp pain in her chest caused the diclonius' gait to slow and eventually cease. She could not have a panic attack before even seeing a person she recognized! How embarrassing! Her left hand pressed between her breasts in an attempt to calm her rapidly beating heart. Chrissy's eyes darted around hastily just to make certain no one was staring at her though the hallway was dimly lit. It took a minute, but the eighteen year old felt comfortable enough to continue into the open room where she was sure someone was there she knew. Chrissy nearly lost her poise at the thought but she kept it together long enough to step into the room.
The Diclonius had very few changes over the time she had been away. Her species did not age as quickly as humans or other species did. She had learned it was so they could breed longer and still be attractive to the human males. Of course she ignored that and dressed as she had since she escaped the institute. Beneath a black, short-waisted pea coat was a cream-colored sweat with horizontal strips of all different colors. It hugged her curvaceous frame and did justice to her large chest. Beneath the v-neck sweater that was warm and soft was a bright sky blue camisole that pressed her breasts against her sternum giving nice cleavage but not overly so. She had obviously been attempting to hide her attributes, and only recently had she been succeeding in the slightest. Over her legs was a pair of dark denim skinny jeans. These fell over her well-sculpted legs quite well meeting with a pair of black converses with fruit all over them which brought the rest of the colors in her outfit together. Chrissy looked casually beautiful as usual.
Heart thumping heavily in her chest, Christiana allowed her eyes to fly across the room, but her eyes never made it completely across. She swore anyone could hear that loud pumping of her heart. How could they not?! A bright red tint brightened her cheeks as she stared at his back. Guilt washed over her and her eyes fell. Christiana didn't even have the right to look at him after running off the way she did. The sensitive diclonius felt tears welling up in her sparkling eyes but she pushed them away and made her way over to the bar refusing to make eye contact with Kenta. Her hair was pulled into a loose, high ponytail which permitted her thick, turquoise to cascade down along the sides of her face, hiding her shame from the view of Kenta. She hadn't even noticed the other two women he was conversing with.
She shouldn't have come back. Kenta must loathe her for leaving. Her hands entangled themselves in the tussles of her fallen hair in dismay. How could she leave without being noticed? A flippant, almost ghostly whimper fell from her glossy lips as she went through several escape plans in her mind completely loosing herself in the plans. She even forgot where she was and who was standing only about five feet from her probably staring at her angrily.

((*waves at Doods* Yo yo.))
A premonition. This whole situation and confusion was because of a premonition. Something that hadn't even happened, and might not happen. Jade had to hold back a bit of a chuckle at the irony of this.
She smiled softly at Kaen, letting Tali state his peace before he finally went on his way. The Orinian seemed to bring tension with him where ever he went, intentionally or not. This time, it just happened to be not, and more than the normal amount.
"So, you had a dream that this man-" She pointed slightly behind her, not turning to face the emperor, but indicating his general direction as he strode away. "-is going to kill your brother." Jade just wanted to confirm that for herself.
Slowly, she started to walk down the bar again, thinking to herself for a moment, entrusting Kaen to Kenta for a moment to make sure she didn't pounce again. The young woman reached for her hot cocoa, expecting it to be cold. But upon picking up the mug, the ceramic was warm, but her cocoa had mysteriously vanished.
Wrinkling her nose in disappointment at the loss of her drink, she turned back to the other two. "Maybe you're right. But I'm trying to figure out the connection. Taliman isn't one to kill just for fun, or needlessly. He'd have a reason behind it, and so far I'm not seeing why he would kill your brother. That is...unless I'm totally missing something."
((Ugh, sucky a** post is sucky.))

::The heavy doors of Club Orion opened slowly. As the doors were open a quick cool gust of night air filled the main area of the club. The form of the saiya-jin Unks could be seen as he closed the doors behind him. He thought he saw Tali leaving as he made his way out but he wasn't too sure. He sensed some energy signatures in the bar area and decided to make his way closer to them.
He made his way further into the club and saw Kaen, Kenta, and Jade. He smiled warmly at the site of the locals and moved to sit on a bar stool. He didn't want to intrude on their conversation so he sat there in silence and waited to speak, or until he was spoken too::

The fox sage had grown silent as the focus was briefly drawn off of him on to his older protege. Wrinkling his nose when she started speaking on the blood of Lazuras he sighed.
"Its really not as bad as you think. Its not like you can feel them. They are just there. They are a part of me and have been for so long, that I've kind forgotten how it is without them. Could do with out the black color. But beggars can't be choosers..."
Getting back on subject he cleared his throat.
"...Hey grasshead seems your trying to dance around the topic at hand. I haven't known you to just drop a subject that easily without some sort of a fight."

The ruby kitsune kept her attention on her company, but the fur on her tail bristled as yet another person entered the club, this one having recently infuriated her on the battlefield of all places. Mild frustration aside, she kept her attention on Epithany despite her curiosity concerning Sasha's symbiotes, to which she could ask any number of questions which might inspire any other number of follow-ups. Despite her question to Epithany not being answered, she could measure the truth out herself, or at least try to.
"If the Archmages put themselves first, what exactly is their objective? Vigilante justice seems to be Pagaea's section. After a fashion. How does a guild use the burden of people's lives as a weapon against promotion, and yet expect you to put their objectives first? Which do you abandon if the two conflict; morality or duty?"
Affiliation with any number of organizations was never necessarily detrimental, but Red's question was a discouraging thought against joining. She had her own objective, and her own desired way of carrying it out. Answering to a superior who may not agree with or even care was out of the question. Regardless, she was not Epithany, who held a greater measure of maturity and less hostility to the world or any one person than she did. Her ears twitched unprovoked as she averted her gaze away from Epithany just to the left, penetrating the matter around her to some distant thing up in the air.

Rolling her eyes at Sasha. She found herself distracted by the appearance of an individual she had been longing to see since her return to the Orion. Taking a deep breath she decided to not make a scene and hold her compusure.
"The objective of the Solarian guild was originally fend off the onslaught of magical beings from imposing their power over those who can't defend themselves. Since that time they have expanded into a sort of humanitarian mission that includes preventing organizations and countries from doing the same. Its a fairly vague mission statement I would say. But they overall do do good things for this world and many others, across dimensions."
Glancing at her husband from the corner of her eye she abruptly drained the remainder of her tea.
"I do love that part of the guild, but you would think that I have proven my faithfulness by now. That's what makes this next part harder. I'm going to resign from the Solarian guild. I've been taken on the responsibilities of an Archmage for years, without the power to direct people. I've had enough."
Looking critically at the Ruby Kitsune she tilted she sighed.
"Have you ever thought of starting your own guild?"

"That was unexpected."
The luster in Red's returned, indicating a present consciousness that had temporarily abandoned her tutor and senior disciple. She maintained a calm, unreadable composure, her face trained to dissimulate and her ears and tail mastered to stillness. Only the light in her eyes moved with the accompanied rise and fall of her chest with her breathing. For whatever reason, it appeared that somehow she and Sasha had successfully, albeit inadvertently managed to make Epithany leave the guild, and there was no reason to doubt it either.
Nevertheless, when she spoke, she spoke plainly, inspired by nothing but her own ambition.
"No."
Ironically she did not care to elaborate on the answer, and showed no sign of doing so, but with her eyes on her fellow mage, it did not seem likely she was done speaking. The moment just needed time to set in. Once it did, she spoke again.
"I consider you an equal, and I say that in advance. I already have an organization - a faction is probably a more accurate term - and I am at the helm. You are free to join, but you'd be considered my employee, by contract working for me for as long as you saw fit. Depending on your ambitions, you could find yourself with less interesting, perhaps even less fulfilling work under me than you did under the Archmages. Seeing you as an equal however, you have a lot of power up front to determine your fate."
The offer was on the table, and there was no remorse at turning down Epithany's suggestion to start a guild. Nor was there any pressure for her to join Red's faction. Being the woman she was, it was the best Red could do and in the end, all that lay between both women was an offer to work together, one way or another.
