I started doing the pencil sketches mmm......about Sepetember. I started the sculpting in October/November. I cast the first preliminary resin cast in December, and did the final two casts in February. Since then I have been priming and painting the two final casts. One stays in my permanent collection, and the other one is going to Jaeger as part of an art trade.

It's a two-part polyurethane resin.
I get my resin from www.smooth-on.com

I've actually already got three projects underway right now, two busts and a Munkey, so I'm afraid my plate is pretty full right now.

Crap, I'm behind. That turned out really amazing, Linda. heart I'm going to have to get a glass display case for it.
I've finally gotten my thumbnails like I want them. I knew what characters to use, and I had a certain theme all picked out, but getting the right pose and back drop had me going nuts. I actually thumbed the characters and the backgrounds completely separate, which I normally never do. I'd scan them in, but my scanner isn't wanting to work and I sketched them out so lightly I don't think it would even show up, and I don't folks want to ponder multiple pages trying to figure out what I'm drawing.
All the art I've posted is straight from my brain to the page, which is quicker, but often the quality lacks.
Still collecting the proper references, which is being more of a pain than it should be, but I should be molesting bristol by this weekend.

Wally_West *tents fingers* Excellent. Be more excellent if my stupid equipment would actually work. I'd kick the scanner, but then I'd just have to get a new one and clean up the debris from the old. Oh, and for any of you that have been following my webcomics, Mere Mortal has gone black and white for the sake of attempting an actual regular update schedule.

Ms Rose Wilson Worth Oh wow, that's awesome and wonderful work biggrin *bites tongue from asking questions and trying to figure out how certain things were done.* If you have any questions, I'd love to answer them. This was more then anything else, an exercise to see if I COULD do something like this without any of the formal tools I used to have back in college.
