Princess Ganymede
HP: 133/150
Action: Purification round two!
Damage: Goodbye chaos, out with thee!
Location: E2

Ganymede was expecting the same heavy fatigue that came after every purification she’d ever performed. She expected to wobble, stumble, lean into Valhalla. It got easier over the years; she knew her limits. She’d not crossed them again, yet, but she knew the purification would affect her. She would need a moment, or two, or three, to breathe and get her bearings and shake off the tired fog that settled over her.

Except, when it was done, when Vela stood before her in the white she was always meant to wear, Ganymede wasn’t tired at all.

She swayed because she expected to, because that was how these things always went, not because she was tired. Ganymede looked up at Valhalla, her expression awash with disbelief. Either something had gone very wrong, or something was going very right. She almost felt as if she hadn’t performed a purification at all.

“I’m fine,” she said, and her voice was strong, steady, but full of wonder, too. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I—”

She could do it again.

Ganymede looked to Ochre. She’d thought, if he accepted, if the sense of loss compelled him and his hesitance became agreement, that she would offer him protection, keep him safe until they found some way through the battle, if it even ended in their favor. She thought she would have to take him to Castor, fight their way through the violence and destruction to get to the only other person who could help.

She took a breath. She’d not yet banished her crystal.

“I can try,” she agreed.

Her expression hardened. Determination took the place of confusion.

Laurelite was close, still. Close enough that she had to know what was happening, as a splotch of darkness blipped out and light took its place. There were agents to the east, not so far away at the nearest generator. They would see. They would know. That no one had intervened already was a gift.

“This will hurt, and you’ll lose some of your memories,” she repeated the same warning, “but you won’t be alone.”

Again, Ganymede drew upon her magic, channeled it through her crystal. It was warm and bright — triumphant. She pushed it into Ochre and chased the darkness away.

Purification #2 for everyone in E2 to see. Adjacent squares probably also would notice because I mean how could you not. Suck it, Laurelite.

Not so very far away from Ganymede, Laurelite watched. For a time, her eyes had been on the generator in front of her.

Then, Ganymede became unavoidable.

One purification.

Two?

Laurelite gripped her scythe a little tighter but she did not move.

Instead, her eyes narrowed just slightly.

She was still smiling.

Lt. Diasporite
HP: 50
Action: Prodding a Goose - Anse-ring the call to arms!
Damage: 12
Location: D6
AutoBonus: (For My Memories Sake +1d10(Dice) +3(Faction) +3(Rank) )

Rakonovites call - clarion and clear over the fray. So Diasporite heeded it. It was a trick and a half. Picking out someone who wouldn't be overlywhelming. Even as his team surged up around him, around them, glorious array of colors and shouts that became muddled over the din of battle.

There were those that turned and fled, dispersed out, driven off by the onslaught of a team 'en force. By whatever power swarmed and swathed outwardly from the Generator's core, commanded by Sylvite and Rakonovite in tandem.

Looked for a worthy target - spotted wings - power - and yet? Diasporite darted in on glittered heels and struck out with madeup glitzy acrylic nails. Made to get a solid jab in at the feathered goose down leader before stepping back---

Lieutenant Reidite
HP: 50 - 8 from Hirundo = 42
Action: Attacking Sidouer.
Damage 9 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 3 (faction) = 15
Location: F2

Pretty nose Aquamarine was giving orders, which was fine by Reidite, as long as Cymophane wasn’t getting into trouble. He cast a glance at the Senshi, but he wasn’t close enough to offer any comfort when he was hit with some kind of magic. It was the same far off, traumatized look that he’d seen from time to time, but Cymophane was always quick to put on a smile and laugh it off.

Reidite’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he was about to cross the area to check on Cymophane-- when another Senshi (Hirundo) decided to cast magic on him. Some kind of annoying bird that he swung at with his hand and missed.

He didn’t need the bird to disappear for him to act, and he turned to one of the other Senshi (Sidouer) who decided to attack the generator. “Back away,” he warned as he threw a punch at her, hoping to knock her back.

General Jet
HP: 200
Action: Becoming enraged at Ganymede and her BS over in E2
Damage 15 damage to all White Moon and hostile aliens
Location: F2

Aquamarine gave the order. Most of the others followed, as was expected. They were simple orders, and they would help keep them all safe from the large number of White Moon that were now trying to attack the generator.

Except for Miyamoto, who was apparently an idiot. An idiot who was already leaving the generator he was supposed to be protecting without permission.

“Where the hell do you think you’re going?” Jet growled as he turned to watch the icy Senshi waltz off, as if there wasn’t a Princess in the next area over--

And a royal crystal.

And a bright shift in auras as the chaos was taken from someone. Someone was being purified right there, basically in front of the Queen. Jet could have easily been convinced that Miyamoto went to join the group of traitors to get purified. Why not? They left without permission, acted against orders and attacked the one Senshi he was told to leave.

Jet could feel his blood boiling. His hand was gripped tightly onto his own weapon as he glared across the way at the Princess.

Not just one purification.

There were two.

In his rage, Jet swung his weapon hard through the air, but he didn’t strike anything. Instead, the generator pulsed with energy, attacking all White Moon and hostile aliens.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal Senshi Actaea of the Harvest
HP: 9 HP
Action: Hit by the wave
Damage
Location:F2

Actaea was hit by another wave of energy at this rate she had to get out of this danger zone before she was toast. She had no other choice since she was going to end up knocked out shortly if she didn't get away from these generals who were all over the place causing havoc. She didn't like retreating but as a basic senshi she was still in training and didn't have much power as of yet.

Actaea summons a spectral, semi-transparent circle of wheat around one target of her choice, and a spectral scythe begins to slash at the wheat--and the target. The scythe cannot be controlled or wielded and will appear as though it is just trying to reap the wheat. The wheat field has a five foot diameter around the target and will follow them even if they run. target will feel the sensation of being slashed at while the harvest is occuring; the pain will end when the magic fades, though players can choose to take physical damage at their discretion. The target must be within her line of sight, and the magic will last for 30 seconds and can be used 3 times per battle.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal Coco guardian cat
HP: 35 HP
Action: Hit by the wave
Damage
Location: F2

Coco was also hit by the wave of power but she wasn't ready to give up yet, she was pretty small and it seemed no one had noticed her as of yet messing with things. So she planned to stay in her place on the battlefield for now.

Myrrha, Super Senshi of Scents
HP: 45/75 (( took 30 damage from the 2 shockwaves in F6 ))
Action: attacking a generator in F6, seeing aliens fall down never to rise again.
Damage 3Dice + 5 = 8dmg to generator
Location: F6

Hearing the rallying cry of one of her own fellow order aligned senshi - Myrrha blocked out the rest of the battle around her and continued to pound on the generator with the rock that she had found before. It seemed to be denting the shield casing so using a rock was beneficial. It was all that she could do to continue assailing the generator. The shock waves that had torn through the section of the clearing had knocked her down twice now and she wasn't really up for experiencing it a third time.

With renewed vigor, even though her hands and arms were beginning to complain, did Myrrha continue her assault on the machine. It wouldn't pay to falter now.

Eternal Sailor Sheikh (formerly Corrupted Eternal Ochre)
HP: 56/100
Action:
Damage None atm
Location: E2

She hadn't needed to warn him, but Ochre could appreciate that she did. The costs of purification were spoken in hushed tones, given like casual conversation, wrapped in an ease of speech so no one else would think it suspicious. And it was brazen of her, and so terribly risky, that she would purify anyone where Laurelite would see her.

Instinctively, he knew: if he took her up on this offer, if he followed it through, she would not let him leave the battlefield alive. But wasn't that okay? Because what else did he have?

Certainly not a brother, nor comrades he depended on, nor a girlfriend to fill the empty house and feed the lonely cat. Lenore had given up on looking for her; why hadn't he?

So Ochre stayed, and waited, his body posture so rigid that he'd forgotten to lower his hands from their surrendering gesture. He screwed his eyes shut as if the purification would bleach the surrounding area, as if it would hurt as it lanced away the chaos. In the moments as Ganymede's crystal charged, he wondered: if he thought about his brother, would he remember him as Umber, or as Shale? Would that have any bearing on the memories he had left?

As light began to spill from the crystal, he thought: did the Negaverse deserve this? Did the Queen deserve this?

Light pierced and shone and shorn through chaos, lifting black from white, peeling away senseless lengths of hair that dragged sordid through the grass. It shored up the complexities of his outfit, pared away all the excess and luxury that was woven into Ochre's very being. Beyond the white-hot grip of agony at his core, he couldn't form a coherent thought. Couldn't scream. Couldn't do anything but remain as still as he was seconds before. Only when the light began to subside did the pain follow it.

He blinked once, then twice, then found that his head was much lighter than it once was. As he let his hands down, he paused, then held them out again as his attention scoured his arms and body. He let out a breath. His head tilted to the side as if assessing, then he smiled.

Clarity, he thought. For the first time in memory, he thought clearly. For the first time in memory, all the thoughts that came before, all the second-guessing, all the considerations for the Negaverse or how Umber felt or what he was going to do about Faustite were each summarily dismissed as bullshit. Because they didn't matter. When bad people made their beds with bad people, they couldn't ask for good results.

"Thanks," he murmured to Ganymede, then smiled again at the sound of his own voice. It sounded firmer to his ears, more confident. He breathed deep, let his shoulders relax.

Then he started to pluck the handful of glimmering medals off his newly whitened uniform. "I won't be needing these anymore." Among them was a teal rose that he cast to the dirt.

"It's Sheikh, by the way."

Super Sailor Cybele
HP: 12
Action: Getting attacked, Running back to be with Gany’s crew
Damage: n/a
Location: E2

Cybele was trying her hardest to bite through the memories and the panic, to dodge attacks and to destroy the awful machine in front of her before anything worse happened.

Even so, that single moment of treason kept replaying through her mind with awful clarity. She could remember the senshi’s magic. It had made her feel so cold. So smal, as well, and alone, but cold most of all.

Even now, she could feel that cold all the way down to her bones. Even now, Cybele shivered.

It likely had something to do with the fact that the very same senshi who had attacked her then was trying to use his magic on her now. She caught a glimpse of his face as he slipped away, and a glimpse of the black clothes he was now wearing, but she didn’t have time to focus to much on all that.

The generator set off a blast that nearly knocked her off her feet.

She gasped as she was pushed back a few feet. Now she was breathless on top of everything else.

She took that small bit of distance to take stock of the situation, though. The attention seemed to have turned away from her, and despite it all, Cybele had an idea of why.

She could see the blinding flash of purifying light. She could see the way the Queen turned to Ganymede in response.

Cybele’s blood ran hot and cold at the same time.

She had meant what she’d promised earlier, that she would protect Ganymede with all her strength. She was waning. Blood continued dripping down her ribs. She was still standing though, and while the agents were distracted, Cybele slipped back towards the Princess.

She stood there, fists still curled.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Cadet Caelyna
HP: 42
Action: Running to Velyria and Aliez, having Breakdown #2
Damage 3 + 3
Location: D3 -> D4

Caelyna yelped in pain when the Squire brought his weapon down on her collarbone, staggering back and raising her knife to take another strike. She was fully prepared to keep attacking, but--

But Velyria--

Her heart skipped into her throat at the words Velyria had for all of them, the encouragement, the pride in her sister's voice. It was beautiful, it really was.

Except that in one terrible moment, as Velyria moved to block Scylla's powerful strike, she was sent flying. And there was that awful. Sickening. Crack.

"NO! Caelyna screamed, anguished. Sparta was utterly forgotten, and she turned to bolt across the battlefield, skidding to a halt as Aliez knelt over her sister's far-too-still form.

"Aliez," Caelyna pleaded, but she knew--she knew from the way that he'd collapsed over Velyria's body. From the way he wailed, in anguish and rage. It was the same sound that she wanted to make, but some part of her didn't want to believe it. She leaned around Aliez, cupping her sister's face--the one so like her own, the same pastel blue skin, the same deep purple hair, they even wore their hair in a similar way--and she sobbed.

"Vel, please, you have to--you have to get up, what am I gonna say to Mom and Dad when I get home? They need you, they're so proud of you, they told us to make sure we came back together, you can't--you can't leave me like this!!"

Her pleas did nothing. Velyria did not stir.

Their parents had feared that something would befall Caelyna on this mission. They'd impressed upon Velyria to protect her. Neer had any of them imagined that it would be the older sister, the Commander, confidante of their Commodore, who would be lying broken on a hill on some backwater ******** planet at the a**-end of the universe that just happened to be lucky.

Caelyna broke, and howled her grief to the sky.

HP: 50
Action: On the ground, in pain
Damage: 1 + 3 + 1 = 5
Location: C2 -> B2

Læraðr, quite frankly, wasn't in the mood to be dealing with the alien who'd shown up for help from them. But just as betrayed as you are rang through his ears, and the "love you too, kitten" comment had him staring, completely flummoxed, at Lixian.

But then Caer Sidi scolded him and ran off to the nearest generator, so putting off whatever Lixian was doing, he followed after, swinging his baton as hard as he could against the generator.

Sailor Hati of the Cu-Sithe
HP: 20
Action: attacking Kamacite
Damage 5 + 3 = 8
Location: B6

Hati didn't have time to react to the generator's pulsating warning before he was knocked off his feet. ********. Well, that hurt. At least Asmodeus had done some very hot fire damage to the damned thing.

He snarled when Kamacite shouted some spell, shutting his eyes tight. He wasn't dumb, something like "solar maximum" had to be just as blinding as his magic was deafening. When his eyelids no longer seared red, he opened them and jumped at Kamacite, with every intention of landing on his back and wrapping his hands around Kamacite's neck.

Nobody touched his sister.

Squire Sumner
HP: 75/75
Action: Moving to E4
Damage N/A
Location: E4

There was too much going on right now for him to figure out exactly what was going on. He couldn't even hear the communicators of the aliens over all of the noise and screaming. And there was screaming. Something was definitely going very wrong right now. He couldn't even figure out what to do. There were these things that everyone seemed to be focusing on, but then there were Agents fighting them as they did...

There were other, more powerful characters here than he had felt before. If he was being honest with himself, he felt useless at this point.

But he couldn't continue to stand around in the middle of it and do nothing. He decided to move North. There seemed to be something in the middle area around there and perhaps he would be able to see more of what was going on. Perhaps he might even find a familiar face so that he could follow their lead.

He felt like a failure as a Squire. It made him question whether or not he should have even been promoted by whatever force it was that did it.

Knight Alphubel
HP: 100/100
Action: Moving to B6 and attacking the generator (idk if it's already dead or not someone please tell me)
Damage 8 + 7 + 3 = 18
Location: B6

The only thing he really knew to do at this point was either fight the Negaverse, attempt to figure out which aliens were on their side and which weren't, though the aliens did appear to be dropping which was unfortunate either way, or attack the generators.

He decided to go with the last option. He moved to the closest generator, south, and as soon as he had the room to do so, swung his staff as hard as he could at it!

Was it a good idea to do so? No. Absolutely not. He wasn't even sure if it would survive being hit so hard, though he hoped that the non-glass parts of it would be okay. Still, he wasn't sure how his fists would have done any damage other than punching it a bit. It was still hard for him to remember that his strength increased as a Knight.

He just hoped that he would be able to use his magic, even if his weapon did break.

Amsvartnir, Squire of Cosmos
HP: 50
Action: vibing
Damage: n/a
Location: E2

Amsvartnir watched as Ganymede purified two people right in the middle of battle, and he couldn't help but rather think he'd done it in the most boring, uncreative way possible. Now this was making a good show of telling the Negaverse to ******** off.

He smiled shyly at them (Ochre and Vela) and turned to the one he'd attacked a few moments ago (Ochre).

"Hey, sorry for throwing my stars all over you," he said, "I'm ex-nega, as well."

And then the transcendent eternal senshi was saying how he'd left the Negaverse, and that really took Amsvartnir's breath away. Whoa. He turned wide eyes onto Kerberos.

"I purified a couple of days ago," he said quietly, "It's nice to know we can... go as cool as you."

He glanced over to Ganymede with a wide smile. He appreciated what she'd done for him so much.
