Adding on to previous questions.
If a Mauvian Senshi holds their form for 1 hour a day, and a Mauvian can hold their humanoid form for 2 hours a day, would they be able to -
A.) Be a senshi 1 hour and then a humanoid for 2 hours for a total of 3 hours a day in their other forms
B.) A senshi for 1 hour and a humanoid for 1 hour totaling 2 hours.
C.) Only a senshi for 1 hour or a humanoid for 2 hours as both deplete the Mauvian completely afterwards.
Mauvians could hold their humanoid form for two hours a day and their senshi for an additional hour upon unlocking it, so a total of three hours! (A)

In the WAY distant past when the rift was first opened, the Negaverse went on a field trip past a acid river and into a Youma village. They then tried alcohol, most so acidic it burned through wood while they did have something filtered enough to be drinkable to humans. Would this mean there is rain or acid rain in the Rift?
Can Half-youma visit the youma villages still for a drink? Do the half-youma have a common currency to pay for these drinks? Is there then food there as well like youma made bread or meats?
Unfortunately, the youma village is no longer accessible! The Rift is a chaotic and turbulent place and while there may still be some colonies or villages, the paths to them have been lost.
The Rift does not have its own weather, but it is not uncommon to have strange, electrical type storms in some of the very distant regions. There are still rivers, both acidic and not, in the Rift, though!
It would not be recommended to eat anything found in the Rift; the youma survive by absorbing energy in the Rift or by eating starseeds or drained energy. Because the Rift naturally sustains them, there is no need to make food; they would likely not go through the effort of preparing food for humans or half youma, and it would be ill advised to accept anything created in a realm filled with so much Chaos.
If a village were open and accessible, there would be no common currency; in all likelihood, crystals or other items infused with Chaos would be able to be bartered with.

Can we get some clarification on whether or not youma can eat things outside of starseeds and energy?
There have been statements on the discord that they cannot eat anything but energy-based and more recently in profile crits however there are several youma that have favorite foods listed or instances in roleplays where they've eaten some sort of 'food' that wasn't a starseed. There's nothing I could find in the negaverse guide about whether or not they can eat anything.
For example, using my own youma, Medi has mice listed as a "favorite food" and no comments were made about whether or not that was acceptable.
Why is it an option for the profile if they can only consume starseeds or energy orbs?Youma can eat things outside of starseeds and energy, however they do not consume or process food like humans so there are things to keep in mind. The crit you are probably referring to is:
Quote: Youma typically do not eat human food or anything but energy/starseeds. In the past it has been said that for youma, trying to eat anything else would be akin to a person just putting different things in their mouth. Food/anything but energy or starseeds is not considered edible for youma. This doesn't mean that he can't try to taste things, I just wanted to make sure you knew that typically youma don't try to eat anything other than their designated diet because of this! (It would be like a person tasting paper, or ink, or dirt). They do not digest food in the way that humans do, so there is a huge possibility of this making him sick in some way.
This crit was left in a profile where the youma had a hobby that involved consuming things, making eating things a primary focus of this character more so than other youma who simply have a 'favorite food'. Because food seemed to be intended as a major part of this youma's profile, the critique was shared to make sure the player understood that youmas functioned a little differently than humans. The crit is in line with what has been said about youma eating things in the past; we were only recently made aware that this was not in any information threads despite having been in play for many years now, so in our next information update for the faction/s we will make sure to include it.
In most instances, it is not a problem if a youma has a favorite food, however youma typically don't eat food. They are not creatures designed to feel hunger or fatigue naturally as they can simply return to the Rift to restore themselves. Youma are fueled by Chaos energy; as such, human food does not offer any sustenance. Food has next to no purpose to them as eating it is unnecessary to their survival. However, this does not mean that youma could not eat, simply that they do not have the same biological response as humans do.
While it could be assumed that some youma have a digestive tract to process food, the food could also simply be consumed and dissolve inside of them, however as their body is not intended to process food naturally it could result in sickness. This would be far more likely to occur in a youma whose hobby is consuming things than it would be a youma who is simply eating something occasionally.
As for your question regarding why it is included in the forms, there is not an official youma questing form; all of the questing forms are located here, however there is additional information on youma characters here! Many youma players simply alter the civilian form and include the powered information as located in the side-swap thread. However, we intend to update the Questing Handbook to include youma/half youma information given the increase of straight-to-youma/half-youma characters!

How tangible are Knight ancestors? Can they physically interact with people on their Wonders as well as the Wonders themselves, or are they ghosts?
Knight ancestors are predominantly ghosts that cannot be interacted with however in some instances they can become tangible in bursts of emotion or need. In this way, they are like poltergeists with extremely temporary abilities to interact with their environment.
If a player has a plot that requires their ancestor to be tangible--such as to complete a ritual or something--please PM the mule and we can work out details for this! In special circumstances where the Wonder is able to share more energy, it would be reasonable to think that they could have a more tangible form but this would not be a flippant or common occurrence. Typically an ancestor is simply a ghost on their wonder.

Can the rule of past life RPs not counting for growth partially be lifted? I get why you wouldn't want to have a characters entire growth done via past life, but it seems rather silly that an entire subforum that all factions can use and that can be used to establish canon plus be referenced and explored in present day be treated as if it's not worth counting to their growth. Could it be considered that 1-2 Rps from this forum be counted for growth per stage? I feel this would help explore more PL things for players and how to further develop a lot of present day plots with memory exploration, (and explorations of space). (and I mean a 1-2 cap much the same way that solos have a cap limit in comparison to regulars in comparison to battles?)
Unfortunately, the Past Life RPs are not able to help for current life growth because this is not representative of your present day character growing; the past life character's experiences do not define present day development so they cannot be used for growth, sorry! Your character can uncover past life memories and these can be counted towards growth, but the only roleplays that count towards a character ICly growing to the next stage must be done in present day and by the present day character.
Could it also be brought to consideration that the rule of 'Youma battles can only count for 1 battle'- this rule was established when chaos agents were not many in number and there was a genuine issue of difficulty in their players finding battle rp. It becomes extremely difficult to have a pacifist character just run away or get beaten up *all the time* as they face off against another person rather than a monster. It feels very outdated, and at times rather crippling for order characters.
I understand these are odd asks, but, is there there any current consideration of altering or removing some of these outdated rules? (Much as the hetrochomia one was recently)
The limit on NPC youma battles is in place to encourage roleplay between Order and Chaos characters; it was established because there were instances where a character could reach third stage without ever having interacted with a Chaos character.
This is not necessarily an outdated rule; if we remove it, it returns us to the state of the shop where we saw very clear issues with how people were reaching requirements. Pacifist characters can still reach battle requirements by sparring or practicing their magic with Order characters or by breaking up fights between other characters; there needs to be a clear battle element to count for a battle but they do not always need to be engaging in Chaos characters.

Can ascended senshi use a glamor? If not, why not? If so, how long does it last and what are the circumstances in which they can use it? There is some information on this in the Negaverse Information thread in both the Ascendent section and the FAQ but the short answer is: Ascendent senshi can hold a glamour for only three hours per day; it is taxing on the body and they will need to recover in Negaspace or the Rift for a while. Alternatively, they can consume starseeds or drain energy to replenish their spent energy, but they cannot use these abilities while using a glamour.
They are free to use their glamour at their own discretion; while they have lost most of their humanity in their ascended form, they have the mental capacity to rationalize when it would be effective to take on this form!

I've been assuming that if a character purifies, there are Mauvians who provide them with a new identity and paperwork to live in society if they forget their human lives. Am I correct in this understanding?
If so, could a Mauvian then request new identities for families who are being threatened by muder/corruption as a threat if a character purifies? Basically Order witness protection? That way if purification concerns arise there is a response Mauvians and others could give in regards to that very real concern.
There are options for other characters to help forge new identities, but Mauvians are completely viable options to helping side swapped characters, or characters with new glamours, to obtain a new identity and paperwork to start a new life.
While a Mauvian could create fake IDs for other characters, they cannot create new glamours. Unless the character is getting a glamour, they will still be identifiable to anyone who knew them before, and could remain targeted. A civilian would not gain a new glamour just because their life was in danger; glamours only naturally occur when a powered character's identity is compromised. Civilians/family members would still appear exactly as they did before their were given fake IDs and, so as long as they are in Destiny City, they will still be in danger.
We recommend sending in a plot if you are in a situation like this so we can better understand what is going on for the characters and how they could best be protected!

How do people find out about the ascension process ICly? How is this information disseminated? While I found information on how the ascension process happens, I could not find anything on how characters discover the ascension process.
(By characters, I mean any Negaverse character -- officer, senshi, mauvian -- and not just the senshi that are capable of ascending)
ICly there is limited information available on the tablet; it is enough to understand that Ascension is a process that a Corrupted Senshi can undertake, and it would detail some of what the process entails. However, full information could be obtained from an Ascended Senshi or a General Sovereign; because the nature of Ascension is so dangerous, the Negaverse does not want people flippantly attempting the process without being prepared. Because Ascension is considered among the ultimate sacrifices for a Corrupted Senshi, full information can be a bit intimidating on paper. General Sovereigns have full information on the process and it can be assumed that trustworthy Mauvians, Generals, or Eternal Senshi would have been informed of the process from reports distributed by the General Sovereigns.
Mauvians or third stage Negaverse characters would be allowed to gauge if their Senshi subordinates or allies seemed like they would be a good fit for Ascension, but the information would not be publicly available to first or second stage characters and they would need to get the information ICly from characters who can best judge how to broach the topic and educate them on it in a way best suited to the character's needs and direction.
Unrelated -- I know superiors in the Negaverse can summon their subordinates to them, but can they also banish those subordinates elsewhere when in their vicinity? For example, if Faustite and Heliodor are both in Faustite's office, can Faustite banish Heliodor to outside eir office door?
Faustite would be unable to move Heliodor. Teleportation only works one way; a superior officer may be able to summon someone of lesser rank to them, but they do not have the ability to teleport someone to a location of their choosing unless the Superior officer is actually accompanying them.

is it possible to implement a 'feedback/discussion/suggestions' subforum to give a designated location for community projects and discussions?
At present, this is not something we will be implementing. However, if players want to collaborate on suggestions for the shop they are free to use other player-run venues, such as their own guilds, google docs, or Discord servers. We will advertise and employ google surveys to collect different types of feedback in the future, however players are not obligated to wait for these surveys to pop up and can, in the meantime, submit their feedback and suggestions to the appropriate shop mule!

Since the questions seems to have been missed/gone unanswered in the main thread and I too am curious about the answers, I received Mei's permission to repost her questions in hopes of a more public answer: Quote: Three questions that need to be asked before I post in this thread: (1) What can be discussed in this forum at this time? (2) Are we allowed to respond to the announcement? (3) Or is everything via PM now? (As in, don’t post in the main thread any longer as it is not intended as a forum to discuss Moonshop at the present moment.) I don’t want to break any rules by posting in the future and it seems that this is not the proper channel for discussion of any kind any longer and I just want it to be clarified what can be posted here.It would sadden me deeply to find out that this is no longer a forum for open discussion among our community. You are some of the best people I have ever met on Gaia. I believe in Moonshop and its members - and I believe the staff can find a way to allow for discussion without conflict with respect given to all parties involved. Players can still post general content in the main thread provided it follows the shop rules as well as Gaia's ToS. We only ask that if players are requested to move the discussion elsewhere, they please respect this. You are free to share thoughts related to the shop or updates, but please understand that the MQ&A and usage of the shop mules is the proper venue for this! This allows staff to accurately respond to concerns and inquiries, as well as discuss alternatives, while also being respectful of the players who do not want to be involved. All PMs are treated as valid feedback and worth consideration, regardless of the member it is sent from or the number of people supporting the decision. We will always do our best to work with, or explain decisions, to players, and we encourage them to work with us so we can do so.

I'm not sure if this has been answered somewhere else or not, so I apologize in advance if it has.
Can we use the solos and rps originally written to earn raffle tickets during holiday events toward powered requirements or are they only for earning raffle tickets during that event
The solos and RPs for raffle tickets during events can be used towards powered requirements, as long as the individual character was powered and awakened at that time. These must follow the rules of all other RPs/Solos to be used for growth (such as, they must have a solid close, the player must have written at least 500 words, etc).
RPs started up to two weeks prior to receiving the art for the current stage can count towards growth for the next stage, so if your character was waiting for their next stage of powered art during an event, as long as they were started within the two week window prior to you obtaining the art they can count for growth requirements for the next stage!

How many active artist are there? Is the workload of gone/vanished artist being transferred to other artists? (Ones who don't answer dm's/pm's) If someone has waited for art, gotten civilian as they waited, still hasn't gotten it, is there a time limit until it should be reported to the mule? The best way to determine which artists are open to take on new art is to check the Customs Procedure Thread. While this may not be entirely up to date, as RL may pop up and prevent artists from updating regularly, it is the best resource to determine an artist's status. You may also reach out to them directly if you want to confirm or have any questions about their availability.
If you are waiting on art and want an update, the best action to take is to contact the artist directly. The same goes for if you are looking for someone to take on art. Most artists list methods for how to check with them for availability in the customs thread.
If you are waiting on art, and have PMed your artist for an update but haven't heard back in two weeks, please PM the shop mule, In the Name of the Mule, and we can look into things! If we are unable to reach an artist, or an artist is unable to continue the artwork, we will do what we can to work with other available artists to take on the art. However, the first step should always be to speak to your artist directly as they are the only ones who know the exact status of your art and what their estimated wait time for it may be.

Do forced corruptions always result in a half/full youma or is that rare? If a forced corruption is done, do you need shop approval?
Forced corruptions do not always result in half/full youma; typically this only occurs if the starseed is damaged, or if the person attempting the corruption is not powerful enough. For example, if a General attempted to corrupt someone they may accidentally youmafy them. However, some characters who willingly corrupt may choose to be partially or fully youmafied; there are many situations where a character may youmafy, but a forced corruption doesn't guarantee it. A forced corruption only guarantees that the character loses all or nearly all of their memories rather than just one side of them. All side swaps requires shop approval, but forced corruption does not mean the character needs to be youmafied in any way!
The golden vial IC item let's members get a part memory. For Mauvians, it just says no memories of Mau. Does this mean that the item could give them a past memory of their past life serving senshi?
Yes! They cannot have memories of their time on Mau, but they can have memories of any other interaction they had in their past life, including any interactions off of Mau.
Are IC items account bound or can you give/trade the item to others to use? While you cannot transfer the item to another player, who you choose to use it with/on is up to you, so you can plot to have your character use their item on someone else with their permission!
Can you buy a one time use item several times. Example - Golden Vial to get more memories?
Unless otherwise stated, you can buy an unlimited amount of any item and then use them as you please! You could buy multiple Golden Vials and uncover multiple memories.

Can personal Youma survive in Negaspace outside the Rift (barracks/castle/etc) without getting tired. If not, how long before they have to go back to the Rift?
Personal youma can survive within Negaspace for an indefinite amount of time, depending on age, power, and the rank of their bonded agent. They will only really recharge while they are recovering in the Rift and will eventually need to return there, however they will not lose energy as long as they remain in Negaspace.
However, most Youma would not be comfortable within the city limits for a particularly extended period of time and it is unlikely that they would be welcome in many areas unless there was a specific reason for their presence.
Youma are intended to be disposable fodder in most scenarios. Having them around constantly would cause more problems than not, especially within the barracks, where space is limited. While they could linger in these areas, it wouldn't be welcome in most cases, and would only be tolerated if they were with their bonded officer. Stray youma wandering around Negaspace would likely be evicted back to the Rift upon being found.
