Kai's expression soften "Right I'll get you there" He Helped her up "these woods are no place for training, or what ever it is you were doing." he began walking towards the school with her on his shoulder. "I would heal your wounds myself but it would leave me open to attacks from what ever is in these woods." He shot a dark look into the darkness of the trees. "I know they're out there." he thought to himself.

"by the way my names Kai I'm the schools sentry." as he said that one of the dark eyes appeared in front of him.

"Dark one, we have found the ones you seek. they are close to the inside and were attacking the dragon you call Ialo.."
"what is the condition of Ialo?"
"he is hurt, but able to live, and set is with him."
"good recall the drones we got it from here"
"Your will be done" the eye slowly dimmed to nothing along with all the other eyes Kai had sent out.

"sorry about that lets get you to the nurses office we should be safe there." he rushed her along as quickly as her could without dragging her, keeping an eye out for any activity in the forest.

[[Everyone knows that Luna is out in the woods with Ialo, right? Even though he hasn't taken notice of her EXTREMELY LOUD howl.... T-T *feels so left out it's not funny*]]

Myia's eye twiched at Kai's soft expression. "Thanks." She said keeping her self calm. "Right." 'What in bloody hell... he put me over his shoulder.' She thought not really in the mood to fight back. She laughed in her head. 'Ella won't be happy to see me.' She smerked lightly. "Name's Myia." She told Kai after he told her his name. 'This is degrading. Well at lest I'll get healed.' She gritted her teeth as she felt the pain through her body.

"nice to meet you, by the way were here." he watched as they came upon the school and he immediately put her down "sorry about that there's to much stuff happening tonight." looking back at the forest he noticed movement whether it was a beast or man he didn't know. "come on lets go" he began walking to the office.

Athena had heard Danni's siblings rush to her aid--well, actually, she'd heard most everything. She immediately ran at breakneck speed to help out her new friend. Upon arriving at the scene, she was shocked; never before had she seen demons or anything of the like other than in movies. For a second, she did nothing. Then she let loose a deep growl from her chest, baring her sharp dog-like canines. "Back off!" she barked. Then she ripped a small necklace out of a pocket in her pants, revealing its alchemic markings, and threw it on the ground. With a dramatic wave of her hand, the necklace's pendant grew, becoming very large indeed, and she stood in it. The markings on it began to glow, bathing her in an unearthly light.

"Sir, were sustaining heavy resistance already!"

"We're not leaving without-"

Another channel opened up to the commander. "Sir, I've found one! The signatures match perfectly!"

"Grab it now and fall back."

At the direct order, each operative that had defended themselves from Ialo's satellite strike dispersed their defensive shields and shot straight upwards towards Ialo. But every strike missed him, it was almost as if they were aiming for something else. By the time Ialo had a chance to look back, they were gone; the operatives on the ground, and Set.

Lin saw the people, that she assumed were the enemy, leave quickly. It wasn't as if they were fleeing, exactly. It was more as if they finished what they had come to do... or realized they wouldn't be able to do it and had to leave to regroup.

Well, since she was a hummingbird, no one would really find it odd if she flew down for a closer look. So, she beat her wings again and floated down from the branch she had been on. She flew quickly between each person in the forest, trying to ascertain if they had anything of importance on them that would make those other people want to attack them. Why would someone just come here randomly and start attacking? She couldn't understand it. And she couldn't see anything that jumped out at her from these people, either. Maybe one of them had a special power or something that made them desirable.

Ialo sank to the ground, still quivering from adrenaline. As he knelt down, breathing heavily, he watched drops of blood be absorbed by the ground. "... Why?" he mumbled to himself. He look up. Set was gone. Really gone. Ialo couldn't sense him at all, and the dragon could at least get a fuzzy reading from several miles if he concentrated. But there was nothing. Groaning, he flopped over and rolled onto his back, lying spread-eagle. He winced, the force had jarred some of the (many) injuries. Guns. They frikkin' shot at him. With stuff that he designed. If it weren't for his powers, he'd be a bloody mass on the ground.

.... Not that he wasn't already. Ialo put his hands to his face, and watched the blood smear as he pulled them away. "Someone is going to pay dearly." He wasn't sure what had upset him the most: that he had been ambushed and gotten his a** kicked, that a student was taken from right out under his nose, or..... he shuddered. That bone-shilling howl that went through the forest and bounced off of every tree. In the end, he merely decided to lie there, bleeding all over the forest floor.

Kai sighed in relief seeing the human threat disappear from the life energy that was in the forest, but he also saw Ialo without set, and he was hurt. worried he rushed Myia to the nurses office "the medical office is right here" he opened the door and helped her onto a bed. " I will be right back I suggest you lie down for a bit." He immediately ran out into the forest.
"Ialo you there!" he yelled hopeing Ialo was still conscious, and close enough to be in earshot. "Damn, why tonight of all night?" he asked himself, trying to take a guess at who would have done it.

At the arrival of Shintero and Athena, as well as her siblings and Cook, Danni widened her eyes to warn them not to touch the demons. Not even a brush of skin contact, or they'd be down and out for the count. "Damn it, don't to-" That was as far as she got before a gag formed over her mouth, and the bondages on her wrists and ankles got tighter and started glowing. Sapping away at her strength, her energy.

Lia, who usually couldn't be counted on, found her rare bursts of sisterly protection instincts were kicking in at the moment. She chanted quickly, and suddenly a miniature sun rose up from the ground, illuminating the grounds, thinking the sun would weaken the demons.

Well, it worked somewhat, seeing as some of the weaker ones slumped their shoulders and became easy targets for Cook's flying boulders. But the stronger demons wore heavy black cloaks. Simply pulling up the hood let them keep their strength, but Danni had no such protection. Her powers suffered from the pure light as well, and she writhed in her bonds, weakening faster because of the light.

"Danni...s**t! Lia, turn out the light!" Ambrose shouted, currently in a staring contest with a demon who's muscles were obcenely large as he flexed them. Two demons were facing Athena, keeping a careful distance back. "Arzol, what is this light? She has an alchemists markings." One said, and Arzol, who was busy keeping anyone from reaching Danni, looked up sharply. "To hell with the light, just stun her." He commanded, and that got Danni's attention. Her eyes flashed, but unforunately Arzol didn't catch it.

Instead, he turned, and summoning up a quick spell, he brought out a black whip, and struck out. It lashed Cook and Ambrose, and the two men went to their knees, crying out. And seeing that, Danni snapped.

Summoning up what energy she could, Arzol and the other demons staggered back when her power let loose, a huge black aura forming around her as her eyes blazed. There was a sudden explosion, and Danni disappeared from view for a moment. When the smoke settled, it revealed Danni, standing outside of her bondages, the gag off, eyes pure black. Her hair blew back in a sudden wind that sprang up, and lightning struck in between her feet.

"Don't. Ever. Touch. Them." She hissed out, her voice cold and merciless. "No one touches my family and gets away with it, demon scum. It's me you want, me who's the threat. So keep your hands off the others." She commanded, and Arzol flinched, despite himself. Out of ten possible levels of dark magic, Danni was a level 9.5. You couldn't get much better than that. After one reached level 10, the only other promotion was that to God. Every demon here knew this girl was easily capable of reaching God status before her eighteenth birthday, and that was unheard of.

But, Arzol saw with relief, the bondages and sunlight her sister had provided, as well as the energy she'd already used...all that had weakened her immensely. She was almost dead on her feet, the strong will and pride she was known for the only thing keeping her standing. "Face it, Shadow Runner. Your life ends here, tonight. By my hand. It is the will of the Demon King." He said, but Danni didn't reply, merely raised her hand and harnessed the power of the storm, so her hands glowed and crackled. She was holding a ball of electric currents that would kill even the Demon King.

"No one dies tonight, except you if you don't get out of here." She said, and Arzol forced himself to snicker. "Bluffs, every word. You're no match for the Demon King's guard." He said, and the two stared at each other, willing the other to make the first move.

Meanwhile, Athena snarled at the demon who was facing her. Her ears were flat against her head and she was definitely scared, but this was so not the time to let that be known. With a mental command to the circle, and a bit of magic, a replica of the alchemic pendant appeared underneath the demon's feet. It glowed, and she held her hand straight out. Stomping on her own circle, a box of the markings surrounded the demon.

"I'm sure you know," she snarled, "that the air around us has a molocule called carbon dioxide. And I'm sure you also know that solid carbon is the strongest substance in the universe; nothing but itself can pierce it, and it can pierce anything but itself."

As she spoke, she touched each of her wrists, on which were very thick metal bracelets. With her magic, they moved to encompass her upper torso in a very thin layer. With a second touch, her alchemy changed the consistency of the new armor into that of solid carbon. She grinned maniacally and stomped on the pendant again. A good majority of the soles (which were apparently metal) of her platform combat boots moved to encompass her lower body and changed to carbon as well. With yet another stomp, the metal chain necklace she wore covered her head and changed to carbon as well. She was fully protected. "Neat, huh?

"Oh, and just so you know: nothing can leave that box. Just one of its perks." With that, she took advantage of the summer humidity and the storm and surrounded the demon with water particles then froze the water. Inside the box, it was sure to stay frozen until she wished it otherwise.

"Yeah, you get him, Athena!" Lia cheered, having been reduced to cheering squad since her powers harmed Danni as well. She had helped both and Cook and Ambrose to their feet, and her brother was keeping her behind him. She had basolutely no problem with that. But the two men were more concerned with the two in the center of all the trouble, Danni and Arzol.

Trying to catch her off guard, Arzol transformed himself into a huge blackbear, getting up on his back paws and slashing at her with his claws. But in the same breath, Danni recited a chant in the language of the Ancients, the words falling quickly from her tongue. In a moment, her body seemed to morph. The next thing anyone knew, they were faced with a huge black wolf, fangs snapping and red eyes gleaming as it growled deep in its throat.

"No," One of the guard said, backing up slowly. "Arzol, she's not supposed to be able to do personal transformation. It has not yet been approved!" He said, fear making his voice shake as he looked on fearfully at both the wolf and his comrade, stuck in the ice by the alchemist. Cook, his body still rock, looked over at him with a sneer of disgust. "I don't know what the hell yer talkin' about, but I'm pretty sure ya lost all approval privleges when ya tried to kill my baby girl." He said, his voice almost more of a snarl than that of the she-wolf a few yards away.

Then Arzol sprung in his bear form, and he and Danni in her wolf form were rolling over the grass. He let out a roar when her teeth sank into his throat, and she let out a yelp of pain when his claws slashed across her stomach. It was a bloody battle, viscious when mixed when the snarls and growls of the two fighters.

Lia made her way cautiously over to Athena, careful to avoid meeting eyes with the two demons not trapped or dead. Those two were carefully considering their moves, seeing as there was a master of the earth elements there, as well as an alchemist, a protector, and the demon sorceress.

"It's all so...savage." Lia whispered to Athena, shuddering as she looked on. The two remaining demons were looking on as well, smirking despite themselves when they heard Danni's exclamation of pain. Arzol, while he'd gotten a good hit to the back of the head, had sprung on Danni's back, crushing her. She only barely managed to get up, springing to all four paws as her muscles tensed, preparing to spring.

"Shadow Runner doesn't stand a chance, whether the Ancients picked her or not. We'll have her corpse to hang on the wall...Or at the Demon King's feet." One of the demons remarked, earning a cry of fury from Ambrose, who fortunately wasn't foolish enough to try and get past the two wrestling animals to reach the remaining demons.

As Kai searched for Ialo He ran into Danni, her siblings, Athena, Cook, and a few pathetic looking demons lead by a few stronger ones. "Danni what the hell is this? ... wait better question" Kai set his eyes on the demons "What is the meaning of your intrusion on this land?" He shot a dark look at arzol

Athena nodded to Lia. "Yeah. Watch yourself, though. If I get knocked out, ugly over here will be released again." She jerked her thumb at the frozen demon. She did her best to ignore Danni's plight; she couldn't do anything to help the girl. That and she couldn't leave her pendant or her alchemy would be useless. Turning slightly, she faced one of the other demons.

"Hey fathead!" she called out. "Whatcha doing just watching? Need a seat?" She stomped her foot which was beginning to ache by this point and used a combination of magic and alchemy to cause a dirt chair to lift under the demon. However, it didn't stop when it had him in it--no, it kept going. Soon it was eight feet tall. Athena panted briefly. The energy that alchemy required was rarely taken from an alchemist, but when you weren't using potential energy as kinetic energy or weren't simply changing something's composition, it had to be done. Then she raised her hands, one in the air above the other, and flipped them, magicking the chair itself to flip and trap the demon underneath it. She panted harder after this one; it was done completely by magic, and took more energy than she planned.

Nonetheless, she kept her hands up and shot fire at the chair--not to harm the demon, but to superheat the particles in the dirt, which had a lot of clay. She wanted to go for the kiln affect.
