Keno's left eyebrow arched at the mention of Deity being out cold. That came as a surprise to him in all honesty since he had pretty much assumed nothing save what happened to the monkey would ever keep any of them in bed all day. Well, almost nothing. He murmured something under his breath that probably would have made Jade blush, smirking to himself while losing himself to his curiosity for a moment. A moment later he shrugged the entire ordeal off, choosing to just leave it alone. Tali wasn't likely to call Deity out if he wasn't in proper shape. He'd want to prove his superiority, so unless he had another agenda, there was nothing to worry about.
Or at least that's what he thought.
"Be sure not to overdo it. So long as he isn't gonna die, you can leave the rest to time." Watching her, he could see that the strain was rather impressive. The nature of the healing process was taking a physical toll on her, but whereas his punch earlier had left him a little winded and short on reserve power, Jade was looking as though too much of this would knock her out plain and simple. Biting his tongue, he had to remind himself that she wasn't a careless child who needed him to watch her back every time they were in the same room.
"Have you seen Ichi lately?"

<<@Torment: I dunno about you, but the vast majority of the bands/artists I listen to can do their own stuff save a messup here and there. While you're right that speedmetal is some of the hardest s**t to work with on a guitar, they have a reputation to hold. At the very least be able to make it through the song without ******** up horribly four plus times.
Dunno if any of your are familiar with Ayreon, but when Jade brought up Nightwish they came to mind.>>

(( ninja I think they've gotten a bad rap about that from a single show or two ninja ))
(( 3nodding I've three separate groups of friends who saw them live on their latest tour at three different locations and I've heard they were amazing. 3nodding ))

((Carl, if you get a Nightwish Album, I recommend their recent one, Dark Passion Play. I love it. ^w^ Wishmaster, Century Child, and Once are good too. 3nodding

As if on cue, Jade lowered her hands as the golden glow faded away from User. She leaned forward and rested on the tables, trying to catch her breath, arms shaking a bit from the strain. It was a taxing skill to use, forcing one's own ki energy to accelerate the healing of another. The process was a lot more complicated than one would think, and had User's injuries not been so life threatening, the girl would have been alright. But that, combined with not having used the process in quite a long time, wore her out physically, and a bit mentally too, with the focus that was required.
She shook her head slightly when he asked about Ichi, having not seen much of the kitsune girl in quite a while. In fact, Jade had seen more of her future son than her. The girl took in a slow, deep breath, standing up a bit.
"Internal bleeding has been taken care of, broken bones mended, muscles reattached, and major lacerations healed." She turned and looked over her shoulder a little at her brother. "And you know, if I fully healed him and he woke, he'd be mad about it. He won't allow time to heal him, but at least now the fool won't die."
She started to turn around, swaying a little before grabbing the edge of the table. "Maybe....I should lie down for a bit..."

"Good enough," Keno said, rising and making short work of the stride to his sister. For all he knew, she'd pass out in the elevator, and that wouldn't do anyone any good. That was just plain acceptable. Besides, the lounge wasn't a bad place to catch a nap. Grabbing Jade's right arm at the elbow, left hand resting on her left hip, he guided her as quickly as he dared across the main room of the club. His face had gone blank, though there was a certain gleam of concern that he held in reserve only for her. So what if she wasn't hurt...she was still on the verge of collapse.
Yet, despite all his concern, he felt the unfathomable ridge that had grown between them over the past few years. A sigh parted his lips, though it sounded much more like irritation than despair of any sort. Rather than follow up with a comment though, he simply led her into the lounge and the nearest couch in reach.
"Lay down," he commanded with a firm sort of gentleness. It was just one of those things. She was already planning on doing that, but he had to say it for himself, and so he did. "I'll keep watch." Just like that, much in traditional Keno style, the tiger left, walking through the lounge and then slowly vanishing as though he were no more tangible than a memory. It was an existence he was comfortable with these days. After all, it did just save User from certain death. Considering those stakes, not being around might be best for them all.
Or so he would like to think.
